Best Western Cedar Inn

The place was nice, although a touch on the underwhelming side. It had an older hotel feel to it, and it did notably lack plates and utensils despite having a microwave. Other than that, it was pleasant. We personally didn’t partake in the breakfast, so I can’t comment on that.

The first room given to me was smelly, then the room I was moved to was on the second floor and there’s no elevator. I had to take my heavy luggage up myself.

Property is well maintained. Staff is friendly. Channel options are very limited. WiFi requires extra authentication not explained on checkin. Lobby phone a constant “busy” when called from the room phone. Good place to sleep; communications challenging. Solid 4 for the price.

This stay at the best western cedar inn should be priced WAY under $40 per night. First of all it’s not a clean motel by any means, secondly it should be advertised that they have a roach infestation, they should advertise the TRUTH with a reasonable price tag. There aren’t any amenities at this motel, and my family and I don’t want to eat breakfast at a facility with roaches and ants everywhere. The price tag should reflect how poor the property is, and just destroy the entire “pool” area, the water has no chlorine, it’s GREEN! Parking is super tight, but it’s free. I’m disappointed, disgusted, and dissatisfied with the stay. The only positive thing to say is the water in the shower is HOT, and the pressure is good. Do NOT stay at this property, keep driving a couple miles down the road to the next hotel.

Close to everything Pool was discolored so we didn’t get in ( only reason we booked here was to swim). Staff went in room when do not disturb sign was on the outside and put it back on the inside. Staff was great. Actually, one of them found a case I had left out where I unloaded, with important papers and a computer. He brought it in and set it behind the counter. When I asked if someone had found it, he brought it out, showed it to me, and asked me for ID when I claimed it. I was very grateful.. High traffic area. Absolutely the best stay I've had staff was great, very helpful friendly and were very understanding when I was having issues with my card, the bathroom and rooms were spotless, pillows were soft and comfortable and the beds were on comfy clean . Pool was the only down fall it was green

Easy check-in and parking. The lobby looked outdated and cluttered. The room had adequate lighting, good shower preassure and functional amenities. The shower head had built up lime scale and the carpet had a couple of stains. Nice quiet area.

The supposedly hot food was cold, 2 days no yogurt in yogurt macine, no jelly put out had to ask for it, orange juice bitter, cold biscuits, just totaly unappetizing breakfast 3 days in a row.

Great staff clean room great value. I highly recommend this hotel.

It served its purpose perfectly as a place to sleep. My only criticisms are that the channels on the TV did not match the list of channels they provide, and one morning there was no meat available at breakfast. I mean it was not offered, not that there was none left.

Walking distance to many stores/restaurants. Not nearly enough parking. We had to park in another parking lot and walk to our room. Our room had no towels and the tub was dirty when we called the office for towels, we were told they would bring some. After waiting 30+mins we had to go ask for them/get them ourselves. We will not be staying at this location again.

The AC was definitely working. That's a plus. Breakfast was just ok. The 1st room we were assigned, the bathroom light wasnt working. So they changed us rooms with no problem. Bit in that room, the lights in the ceiling werent working. We didnt change again because the vanity area and lamp lighys provided more than enough lighting for our needs. The bed was very comfortable and the lady wlrking the front desk was very friendly.

Staff was courteous and checkin was great. The room lacked in providing adequate resources such as towels. There were only 2 large towels for 3 people. There should be a minimum of 4 towels in a double queen room. Also, the shower was not hot. I had to shower in lukewarm water and the shower curtain was way too short, so water got all over the floor. I would not choose to stay at this property again.

However the hotel does need some updates ans renovation. The fitness room was unaccessible with a sign that said their apologies but they were waiting updates. The floor still had carpet which due to cleanliness, germs and bed bugs should no longer exist in hotels. I also personally never understand a hotel room that doesn't have a coffee pot in the room as I personally like to have coffee before I go out in public. Most hotels these days do have some kind of coffee pot in the room.

The room was very clean to include carpets being done. It’s a great location near shopping and dinning. Would definitely book again.

The front desk people were very friendly. The room was just okay. There were only two large bath towels and no hand towels, washcloths or kleenex inside.

I was hoping to watch some HBO but was unable to get any cable channels at all on the television. The remote control was very old with faded lettering. There was no diagram with instructions for it but I went through every conceivable combination of buttons on the remote and all I could get were about a dozen non-cable channels. There was also no coffee maker in the room. ALSO: I called for a pizza delivery from a place listed in the room literature as being next to the hotel, but it was no longer there. After I bought some snack bars from the lobby, they crumbled apart when I opened the packages, were extremely sticky, had apparently melted at some point, and tasted old.

Short stay. Just a few hours to sleep after a hockey game. Very affordable and convenient. Didn’t stay for breakfast.

This place has the BEST beds ever! The parking lot is smallish but the beds are so comfortable and the people that work there are so pleasant and helpful! I didn’t eat the breakfast so I don’t know about that but I will definitely go back just for the beds home away from home…….

The area around the hotel was truly sketchy, with homeless people camped out drinking under a tree.

The room was large and the hotel was fine. It is one of the oldest hotels in Cedar Park so it was just a little outdated. It was safe, clean and in a good location so for the price, I was ok with it not being as nice as some other chains.

I did NOT stay in this hotel because it was uninhabitable. YET, I was billed for the entire stay even though I did not stay more than 5 minutes and I saw the room and the manager was there when I saw it and cancelled the room stay right then and there.

The bed sucks the TV sucks, no guide even the guide on ch 2 does not match the channel. The pool has a white powdery substance on the surface. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone else. Definitely never return to a Best Western hotel again.

Room has evidence of being refurbished once upon a time, Floor covering and other areas around the room not well maintained or cleaned.

Everything was fine. The room was bigger than we thought Clean and Easy access since my Husband is Disabled I asked at the desk for a ground floor and there was No Problem.

This hotel is comfortable enough. The pool didn't look clean and the fitness room was closed. Looking in the window you can see nothing but boxes. Looked like it was used for storage. The main appeal of this hotel is the location. It was very close to the venue we were in Austin to visit. My main complaint came after the stay. I left two pair of jeans in the room. I called the next day and was told they weren't there. I know exactly where I left them. I realize it is my mistake, but still...

This was a great little hotel. Great and safe area. We just needed a place to sleep for one night but wanted near our event. This was perfect. The swimming pool was dirty but everything else was excellent. Great price

This location is dated, room wasn't the cleanest (also bugs), pool didn't look clean. The staff was nice and free breakfast was good. Loud stuff going on at the train yard at 2am..Hotel did the job for a quick stay.

It was a good experience. The room was clean, and the hotel was near a lot of conveniences. The only issue was that the drain cover in the tub was broken, so I had to keep it open by sticking the soap (unopened in the packaging) between the tub and the drain, which worked fine.

The parking lot was really small. Spaces were small and no matter where you parked someone was going to hit your vehicle with their vehicle doors. I asked for a downstairs room when I booked because I was with my mom and godfather who can not do stairs much due to disability. We were given an upstairs room and told it was the last one available. The room was nice but would not stay here again.

We were disappointed. The pool was not open until April1. And had hoped to. Swim in the 97 degree heat the day we arrived on. March 14. The dates. For the outdoor pool. Should be added to. The Hotels.com web site. We found a nearby indoor. Splash facility.. The breakfasts were. Great and staff managing the breakfasts did a great job. This location was very. Central to many activities we. We’re there to enjoy….the sports park, the Austin Steam Train. Association yard to see the train come and go,, really good restaurants for supper.. Our stay was very nice..

The property needs some refreshing, but the room is clean and has adequate bath items. The mattresses are in great shape, which is important. It is in a convenient location for our trip to Cedar Park. The staff is friendly and helpful. We had a good stay.
