The property was very clean and the staff were very helpful.

My reservations were cancelled after I called twice to tell them I was a late check in. But she was nice enough to find me another hotel even closer to my destination just had to pay more for what was available. No other choice so I did and it was a good time!

My main reason for this place was for the hot tub and it was out of service

The location. We were going to a Women’s conference. The price. And the paper thin walls where we heard people next door fighting all night. We reported it.

There was a roach in bathroom

The room was damp and had a mildew smell.

I did not like my sheets & blanket was itchy & that the marble flooring was sticky like maybe due to the product used to clean the floor.

One of the most concerning experiences occurred when I requested a fresh set of towels from a housekeeping employee. Rather than assisting me, she rudely directed me to the front desk. Before I even arrived there, she radioed the front desk about our interaction. When I reached the desk, I was informed that there were no clean towels available because they were still being laundered—even though it was approximately 11:30 a.m. and housekeeping staff were actively cleaning guest rooms. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated incident. Throughout our stay, both our party and other members of our group repeatedly encountered difficulty obtaining clean towels. Basic housekeeping services were also lacking. Our room was only cleaned on the day of our arrival. When we requested housekeeping on our third day, we were told that the hotel does not provide daily room cleaning, despite advertising that it does. In addition to the poor housekeeping, the overall customer service was consistently below expectations. The property itself was not well maintained, and the surrounding area raised significant safety concerns due to apparent criminal activity. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend staying at this hotel. Between the poor customer service, lack of cleanliness, failure to provide advertised amenities, and concerning location, I strongly encourage prospective guests to choose another property if possible.

i have found IHG hotels to always be reliable, clean, reasonably priced and the staff very helpful and pleasant.

The exit doors did not allow entrance from the outside.

Breakfast was the same as every other hotel in the area. Same vender no orange juice, machine was broken Pool was very dirty. Took Days to clean it.

The front desk was very helpful and kind. I did have an issue with the shower not giving full pressure and the toilet not flushing properly. I also asked the cleaning staff to change the bed sheets two different time and it was never done. The reviews were good, which is what led me to book but I was disappointed.

Breakfast was GREAT! My grandson really enjoyed the cinnamon bagel. The only thing that I didn't like was we couldn't get the window shades to work. The remote control for the shades didn't work.

Ima leave a completely honest review the i got to the hotel the staff was super friendly especially the blond young lady working in the night the amenities are cool and the hot tub was dirty but thats alright the gym is 24/7 breakfast was trash the food was pretty dry online is says they serve omelets or whatever but its scrambled the rooms are modern and so is the bulding thats why i booked but here is the Real Problem i went into the room and it was dirty like when i put my bags on the chair there was pieces of chicken in the bottom of the chair and on the side of my bed there was nail clippings meaning they problably dont really clean, also there was pubic hair in the chair and stains and in the bed there was crumbs inside the blankets like maybe they dont wash the sheets daily and also the bed is very low and lopsided like if the matress has no cushion in it i couldnt even sleep beacuse it was tiled it sucks and this was the part i hated the most i put the blue do not disturb sign in the door and the housekeeping was trying to come in even thoe i told them im in here and i have till 11 she almost opened the door and i dint have pants i just decided at that point to just leave it sucks it was not comfortable the only good thing is the amenities but the bed and housekeeping and cleaning terrible

Upon check in staff was friendly given our room right away. Once we entered our first room the smelled so strong of pine sol it was overwhelming. Went back to front desk explained asked for another room they changed us for two queens to a king. Went to the next room seemed ok so we choose to stay in that room. Went down to hot tub that evening since we had been traveling and choosy this hotel since it had a hot tub. Got to pool/hot tub room and the hot tub didn’t work and was very dirty. Explained to the staff the situation she said she would report it to maintenance. My wife asked about receiving a discount because of the problems we had experienced. She said to call on Monday to speak with the manager my wife thanked her and said she would call on Monday. My wife called and spoke to the manager on Monday and was informed that she could not offer any type of discount due to the fact that we booked thru hotels.com.

The elevator did not work which made it very inconvenient

Staff not around when we needed help with the elevator during the day. Night staff much better. Elevator not working the entire time we were there. We were on the 3rd floor ended up taking the stairs almost every day. The carpet in our room really needed to be cleaned professionally or get new.

It is what i think the minimal standard should be for hotels. But when you concider everything, I'd say it's slightly above average at the cedar hill location.

It was really nice overall. The ac was a bit weird during the night (coming on and off). But room was spacious, all amenities, breakfast was okay (potatoes need a lot of work).

Great hotel and the area offers multiple dining options. Comfortable accommodations and the rooms always smell good. This stay there were noisy residents in my area. The one issue I had was that the door seemed to have a gap in it that allowed hallway light to pass through. Security concerns.

Area was a 10 minute drive from relatives, friendly staff.

What was unique about this property was the young man that greeted me at the front desk, His name was James, I was real early for check in, he explained to me that check in was at 11am I told him that I've been on the road for while. So I said you mean you don't have any rooms available right now?.. He began to look in his system and found me one, Not the one that was reserved for me, but just like it, So I can certainly say without a doubt,, James made my stay a enjoyable experience.!!! Thanks James

This property was very convenient and in a really nice area. We were able to walk easily to places and there were many places we could DoorDash for if needed. There is free parking on the property and free breakfast as well.

My family very much enjoyed this hotel and would definitely stay again. The price was just right, parking easy, and the staff was very friendly. We were a bit disappointed that the breakfast was exactly the same 2 days on a row. Other than that everything was great, including the indoor pool and hot tub.

They’ve done a decent job renovating the rooms so they look current. However, you couldn’t turn the shower off, the fan in the bathroom was so loud it sounded like a jet turbine, then the AC/Heater was so noisy that it was hard to hear the TV.

Location was great, parking was easy, staff was friendly and helpful! The rooms were nice and clean. Everything worked in the rooms and the shower was lava hot! Loved the Dove brand amenities.

The only thing I would change would be the beds. It was like sleeping on a bad sofa bed.

Check-in was fast and easy. The clerk was courteous and fast. I would definitely stay there again.

I did an early check-in with no issues. For the most part staff was friendly. My room was clean and they had good breakfast. I did not like not having access to do my laundry due to it being out of service. I wished the front desk guy would have said something to me before wasting my time to go there on the 2nd floor with my laundry if it needed maintenance all along.

My stay in Cedar Hill was very good

Did not clean the room or make up bed. Had to request towels , linen and made my own bed. Carpet not vacuumed because there was skittles on the floor when we checked in and was still there. Complained to staff one gentleman was apologetic but the manager just walked around on his cell phone . First time staying at that hotel and it’ll be my last time staying with holiday inn express.

Nice staff. Easy checkin. Allowed to check in early. Inside/outside clean. Didn’t like a staff member not being able to speak English. Everyday there was a Rollie bug in the bathroom. I guess because we were on the first floor. Liked having a microwave and fridge. But there was no water in room. Bathroom floors extremely slippery when wet. Had to keep a towel on the floor.
