Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Dallas Cedar Hill

The breakfast exceeded my expectations. Parking is convenient and the hotel is conveniently located. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was overpriced. I previously stayed there the 4th of July weekend during FIFA and only paid 121.00 per night, the current stay was 224.00 per night. Mark up in price was extremely high. Staff should be more mindful of double charging. I paid for the stay when I made reservations and was charged again at the hotel. Still waiting for the charges to be reversed.

Great location, very helpful staff, comfortable bed and nice room. The only minus was the elevator was warm.

Room was clean and spacious; Bed was very comfortable; loved that it had a refrigerator and microwave and the AC that all worked well; location was great. Bathroom sink didn’t drain and filled up w water quickly. Took the stairs because the elevator smelled awful. Only interacted w one staff member who barely made eye contact, had his earbuds in the whole time and never smiled…flat affect. He assigned a room that was occupied so I opened a door to someone else in the room.

This property could use a refresh. Front desk staff was horrible, not only was I not greeted other than "ID Please" I was charged on Expedia and then charged again onsite. (this was taken care of) When I asked how late the pool was open the response was "if you want to use it its open until 10)

No one was ever up front went I went down for questions, and elevator was a bit dirty but otherwise no complaints. Didn’t try breakfast so can’t comment on that but it was available. Pool was clean and quiet and nicely lit in the evenings.

Breakfast was excellent

Bathroom updated and clean, good breakfast, comfortable bed, good location for us. Some suggestions for improvement: better lighting in the room, not bright enough, only one switch by the door turn most lights on and off. Would like to see towel bars on wall so towels could dry from one day to the next. Two hooks on wall behind door so when door is open towels hanging there have little opportunity to dry. Refrigerator had no controls, two pushbuttons, no explanation, for us it was either freeze whatever was inside or be off. We likely will stay there again when in Cedar Hill visiting family.

There was a nice selection of breakfast items each day with something different. The facilities were very clean and the staff was professional and friendly.

Stayed here 6 years ago. The hotel was still clean and fairly well maintained. Carpet was coming up on edge of stairs. Staff was friendly. Loud cars outside of hotel impacted ability to sleep.

The breakfast was basic. I would pass on the eggs and turkey sausage and Canadian bacon but everything else is good.

Broken AC, multiple charges to my bank account, limited laundry amenities with broken dryer, low water pressure.

Great place, upgrades needed or better carpenter (nice decor choices but bad installation). Add sturdy wall hooks (or people will use you sconces, wall hangings, and lamps to hang clothes on) since closets are not big/tall enough to hang a suit or dress. full size ironing board is a must. save $ elsewhere.

Reception Staff was very dry and remedial, in terms of providing good customer service. It seemed as if the person either didn’t want to be there altogether or specifically didn’t want to service me. No smile, no warm greeting. Obvious passive aggressive irritation at the fact I requested a different room than the one I was initially offered. No response or follow-up from management, once a written complaint was submitted. The check-out staff was actually on a personal phone call, while conducting business with me. She was kind, but I didn’t appreciate her not ending the phone call before asking me for personal information such as my name and room number; unprofessional.

Great hotel

They stay was ideal. Nice rooms and breakfast. My issue is this. I booked Jan 23-27 due to icy road conditions. The roads cleared up earlier than expected so the evening of the 25th, I asked the clerk at the desk if there was a penalty if I were to check out the next morning. The 26th. She said "No Ma'am. Just be sure and check out with someone." I did that and received a printout that clearly shows I checked out on the 26th. I am now being charged for the full stay and was informed that there is no record that I checked out early. I have the printout right here in my hand that clearly shows such. Had I known I would still be charged, I would not have checked out. That is the reason I asked the evening before. When I asked about this that morning, I was told that I booked third party and to contact them. I did that and the third party was told by Fairfield that they had no record of me checking out early and no employee remembers talking to me. Again, I have the printout. These are deceptive practices.

This hotel is always clean with excellent employees. Alexis has always been sweet when I walk in to check in. She even went out of her way to help me with a splinter.

We love staying at Fairfield Inns. The staff was accommodating and very helpful. Our room was clean and welcoming, housekeeping wads extremely friendly and kind.

Staff were very kind and helpful. Modern updates mostly. Has a couple needed touch ups to the room but overall great. Beds were very comfortable. Room was clean. It was spacious and bright. I’d definitely come back.

The dead bolt to the room door did not function. The water pressure from the sink was poor with a minimal stream, not enough to rinse a shaving razor. The water pressure in the shower was tremendous. The room was spacious and included drawers and a closet. The climate control worked proficiently. The breakfast was good. Omelettes, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, bacon, dry cereal, fresh oatmeal, waffles , English muffins, bagels, bread for toast, crumb cake, fresh fruit, variety of juices, coffee, milk. Lots of variety and cooked well,

This property is well-maintained, and my room was updated and modern. The staff was also very friendly. What I enjoyed the most was the close vicinity of shops & restaurants. Everything I needed was within walking distance.

Walmart and Waffle House are very close.

Excellent hotel and staff. Clean rooms, quiet, comfy, and cozy. Breakfast is included in the fare. Front desk staff was awesome especially Keylan. Housekeeping staff was amazing.

The hotel and staff were EXCELLENT. The front desk clerk named Keylan truly went above and beyond to make sure that my stay was wonderful. I had a horrible experience at the Courtyard Marriott in Midlothian and shared my experience with Keylan. Although it was not his hotel but a sister Marriott hotel Keylan apologized for how I was treated and looked out for me on my stay. My room was clean, comfortable and cozy, quiet, and breakfast was included with my stay and included scrambled eggs, cheese omelets, boiled eggs, sausage patties, Canadian bacon, waffles, assorted cereal & yogurt, an oatmeal station, bread station with english muffins, raisin bread, bagels & cream cheese, blueberry muffins, assorted juices & milk, as well as a coffee & tea station. The housekeeping staff was amazing. Such a wonderful stay here.❤️

Overall a good hotel. Unfortunately the guests in the next room were arguing loudly. We therefore left and found a new hotel

Enjoyed my stay

The location around the hotel was perfect, my family and I felt safe however some of the rooms definitely need to be redone, items were slowly breaking or of no use to us because they didn’t work.

The TV didn’t work and the room was moist.

The room had an extremely strong perfume odor as if it was covering up a smell. The room felt musky and damp. In fairness, we did not notify the front desk or seek a remedy. We were tired and just went to sleep. We left early the next morning. The breakfast was great. The rest of the property appeared nice.

The hotel staff was very nice and the room was clean. The bed was not as comfortable as I like but it was sufficient for the night.

The AC in our house was out of commission so we decided to get ahead of the heat and book a room. We love the Fairfield!! It’s always exactly what we need when we need a night away.

My TV remote was not working. Fire alarm at 2 AM. No explanation given.

The bed was very uncomfortable, the curtains would not fully close and allowed light in. The room had an old odor (probably due to the very old carpeting and marginal bathroom and room cleaning -- I killed a couple of spiders in the bathroom. The frig did not keep items very cold. Also, the elevators stopped working on the last day of our stay. Had to haul luggage to lobby from 3rd floor!

Loved the complimentary breakfast, the very clean, spacious room and convenient nearby shopping.

Nice hotel

Staff and the cleanliness of the property was definitely a factor in my rating. Food provided had good options and everyone in my party who wanted breakfast enjoyed that too.

My husband and I come here often for quick little get aways! The staff is always so kind and welcoming. Rooms are always clean! We even used the pool this time and it was amazing, as well.

We always enjoy staying here. Never any issues. The only thing with this one, which I’m not even sure we can blame on you guys, is the alarm clock went off randomly playing Mariaci music at 6am. We did not set it so it must have been from a past guest.

For the traveler easy access to all main thoroughfares. Walmart located to the south and Kroger's to the north
