The rooms were very clean. The staff at check in was very friendly and helpful. Bo, Alex and Ariel at the upstairs restaurant/ bar were wonderful and very attentive.

Room carpet was filthy and torn. Room was musty and had fleas, pool had no towels and pool umbrellas required multiple requests to open. I distinctly asked if $50 incidental charge would be credited upon check out. Front desk assured me it would but then charged me $28 additional amenity/reservation fee. This did not exist 2 wknds ago. This Fee included $33 food & beverage voucher BUT only 1 per day & could only be used at restaurant which opens at 4pm & checkout 11am. Told me I could not use it at the cafe. Restaurant applied entire $33 voucher to my $20 bill, gave herself a 20% tip, did not have me sign or give me receipt & upon asking, she refused to credit me the remaining balance.

Location is perfect. You're within walking distance to a great coffee shop. The rooftop patio is lovely. And the staff are fantastic. Everyone from the front desk, all the way up to the rooftop patio bar, were absolutely stellar. There is a lot I did not like about this hotel, and it really surprised me. First the room. Although it was nice and the bed was comfortable, the window looking out was filthy. The air conditioning worked well, except it did very little to combat the humidity, and so it just felt damp in the room. The rooftop, which is spectacular, is not available to guests during the day. It's only open after 3 or 4 p.m., and there just isn't another place to sit or spend time that's very nice anywhere. The parking garage filled up with conference attendees, so we had to park down the street, which was inconvenient. The parking spots are so tiny that if you have a truck or a larger vehicle, you’ll use more than your space. There was supposed to be a $15 per day food and drink credit included with my reservation, which no one seemed to know anything about. Then lastly, there is a resort fee, which they call a destination fee. This was never disclosed up until I arrived at the property. Problem is, this is not a resort. It does not have resort amenities. It just seemed like a way to nickel and dime your guets, and I found it to be obnoxious. All in all, this was not a good value, and I would not stay here again.

The location and surrounding venues were conveniently located within walking distance. Additionally walking around you felt safe and it was great to not have to use a car to go to a great restaurant or an art gallery. There are great places to eat morning and evening. Comfort was great! The air conditioning in the room and in the halls were working 100%. The bed and linens were great that I actually got a good night's sleep. Staff could have been friendlier. The only staffer that was energetic and friendly was the overnight desk manager when we were checking out at 5am. I could have given a single staff member a pass for not being friendly, I understand we have our bad days and not be 100%. But for a four night stay from morning to evening and walking through the lobby and halls, more staffers could have been friendlier. It gave me the impression that everyone working there received bad news. The shades on the lighting above the nightstand were "water stained". Wondering what type of moisture happened to make them look like that. Attention to detail would be helpful to catch these things. If most of the staff was friendly and catching easy things to fix in the room, I would have given high scores across the board to include being a great value.

We were there three days. Never saw the cleaning staff. Said they would do a daily light clean - never happened never got garbage, never gave us fresh towels, never gave us additional coffee cups. Don't like the shower, no where to set your foot when shaving legs.also, we arrived a few hours early and simply asked if a room might already be available. We were told we have to pay an extra $30 to go into a room before the stated checkin time. Just not customer oriented.

The gym was not giant but clean with well working equipment. Would have loved a hot tub!

We enjoyed our stay at Sonesta Bee Cave. The staff was friendly and efficient. The hotel was clean. It was very close to our grandson's DPS graduation so we had plenty of time with an easy drive.

This hotel was nice looking, but lacked in the areas that would actually make it a nice hotel. The hotel isn't bad, it is just priced above it's class, for me. I can accept some hair in the bathroom, but I would say this one had a lot more than most. Also, I kind of judge a hotel by how dirty the corners are, and oh my dog, the corners in the bathroom were disgusting. Overall, not a terrible stay, it was quiet, and it was a forgettable and uneventful experience. I was just there traveling with the kid's sports team and would have never bothered to leave a review, but this is the 3rd email asking for a review. Oh, I forgot, the elevator situation is stupid. There are no stairs and at 7PM we had to wait almost 10 minutes to get an elevator to our room! I think people were going to the restaurant, or maybe just their rooms, but it was a needless point of frustration.

The wall behind the bed was filthy I had to clean it myself and the bedding was like sandpaper. I will not be staying her or any Sonesta hotel again.

Short stay and didn't use any extra amenities, but staff upon check-in was fabulous! Room was clean, beds comfortable and overall quiet (and we were next to elevator). Definitely recommend and will stay again.

We had a great time here. First the front desk staff upgraded our room with a pool view. We like their pool with nice view. And lastly they gave us some grace period check out. Overall I'll give them a 5 star!

We stayed here for an entire week while visiting family in Bee Cave. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and quiet. We were thankful to be able to walk easily to the mall and especially to Whole Foods. We will definitely be staying again.

What I didn't like... Automatically adding a "Destination Fee" and "Other Fee" to the bill. For what? To use the pool, bottled water at check-in, transportation to the Galleria which is 2 blocks away...give me a break.

We loved the vibe at Sonesta! It has a resort type of feeling from the time you walk in, to the smell of the lobby and the crispness of the bed sheets!

We enjoyed our stay overall. The room was clean and comfortable. Service at the front desk was fast and nice. The only downside is that the parking was too narrow either in space or height. There was a section where car height clearance was low (something like 5’ 8”) and it seemed a bit dangerous.
