My property was 'stolen' I mean, grew legs and walked out of the room on its own......never got it back. The lobby was closed after breakfast so you have to stand out in the heat while talking to the about your stay or paying etc.

The stairwell smell like urine. Often times the stairway would be dark! They advertise breakfast and it was just packaged muffin tops and mini honeybuns. This place didn't feel safe for a solo female traveler. Often times they're wasn't anyone at the front desk. One day I didn't see anyone at the desk at all. After all you pay for what you get!!

Location The bed sheets were dirty with stains and had hair all over it. There was a hole in the ceiling directly over the bed. Water or something was leaking out of it. Disgusting and the couch has nasty stains. I requested to have a different room which was granted to me.

Did not get breakfast so I cannot comment on that, but I realllly enjoyed the cleanliness of the room and the price was great for what i got in my opinion. They clean for you and get you more towels and such without asking, every woman i met there was super nice and hardworking. The area is not bad at all for the price either TV was a little meh at times but streaming services are getting so expensive so I get it. Can't complain about anything else at all

Place needs to be updated and definitely needs a super deep clean. Definitely wouldn't recommend because there's way cleaner hotels for the same price if not cheaper. The location is very good because everything is around it and walking distance but the owner could do a better job taking care of his hotel. Maybe hire better cleaning staff

Staff tried to steal my work clothes and lied to me at first until I went and found my items on cleaning cart.

Staff opened the door on me while i was changed for work and repeatedly asked to clean the room after being told "no, i dont have clothes on" still had the door open staring at me. House keeping disappears anything you leave behind. Ive never gotten anywhere back ive left i won't be staying in the future.

Property is clean and kept. Semi updated room was excellent for theprice. It was a cheap nights so I cant really complain, but I will anyway I guess- the beds were hard and uncomfortable. But name brand beds , just stiff.

The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The coffee was good. Many restaurants in the near proximity. Traffic in the area is currently horrible (not the hotel’s fault, and it is off the street far enough so there was no noise problem. Although breakfast is advertised, it is little more than coffee, juice, and mini-pastries in individual wrappings…better not to advertise it as having breakfast.

I stayed here 4/2/25~4/6/25. I won’t stay here again. The staff at check in claimed they didn’t have a reservation, and after looking at my phone a couple times decided that I actually did. I paid for my trip in May! I got the impression that he was trying to double did. Took 2 days to get maid service or clean towels. No hair dryer, so I went out and bought one. No hangers or anyplace to hang anything. Room really wasn’t that quiet, and you could see that this motel had definitely seen better days. There is a Texas Roadhouse across the street that serves up great steaks, and an Olive Garden next door. There are several restaurants, gas stations, shopping areas, on both sides of the street, 5 minutes away or less. Several other hotels as well. Even an urgent care just a couple minutes down the road. Stay at ANY of the other ones and don’t waste your time here. While the area around the hotel offers anything you’ll need, this place has nothing to offer at all. The webpage sounded good, but trust me, you’ll regret it if you stay here. It did have a microwave and full size refrigerator, and the room appeared clean. On its vest day, I would rate it a 2 out of 5.

I really liked the place. Clean and spacious rooms. Right next to several food places. Could easily pass it up since its sort of between the taco bell and popeyes, but a good place to stop.

First off let me say this is a nice property, it’s clean and quiet. There are some places to get food within walking distance. The owners are nice, they provide juice and breakfast goodies! The bed is super soft and the rooms are a nice size.

Super clean and tidy. The rooms are big, with a full fridge, microwave, stove, and sink. I didn't catch the front desk lady's name, but she was super nice, helpful, and understanding when we had TV problems. We easily switched rooms. Besides the fireworks on the 4th, it's really quiet. I'll totally be back. Breakfast was pastries, juice, and coffee.

My review is sort of a mixed bag

The front desk staff was friendly on check in. When I had a problem with the AC and called the front desk, the phone was answered promptly, and personnel came very quickly to fix the problem. My room was clean and fresh smelling. There was too much light coming in through the window from the walk outside (the blinds did nothing to dim it). I would stay again if needed for short stay.

The hotel did not honor the price through expedia and was charging me more. That is horrible as I have never experienced this before.

This was one of the most worst trips I've had staying at a hotel and I stay at hotels regularly for work people next door fighting banging all night called the office for somebody to go and check on them seems like that didn't help if and when they did go over there then I heard what sounded like a gunshot I was so freaking scared never again I do not recommend

This hotel stay was very pleasant. The staff are nice and accommodating. The property was very decent, especially for rhe price. The pool was clean and the washer and dryer work very well. I would highly recommend staying here.

Rooms were comfortable. Was abruptly awakened by manager ( banging on the door ) telling me i had to go because it was after 11am even though I had paid for two additional nights. After finally realizing that wasnt lying, i only received an "ok" ,no apology. Very frustrating as I was working nights in the area and slept during the day.

The AC worked, there were no bugs so that’s good. The bumps on the road were high enough to scratch the bottom of my car so I didn’t like that.

I called before booking, and was told coming in the morning forna few hours would be fine. However, it was clear when I got there that I was putting the staff out. The room smelled terribly. There was a fogger on thw floor upon arrival. The couch was cracked, and impossible to sit on. The room was reasonably clean even though the smell was awful.

Very impressed with the overall condition of this Scottish Inn. I would recommend them for their condition and price. Great stay.

Was told id get early check-in, but roo wasn't ready. Nice room but could use an update. Bed wasn't very comfortable.

During the hurricane we had no ac but had lights that was a blessing but they didn’t even try and work with us paying to stay there any longer

Not recommended

It states breakfast included and the two days stayed there was nothing and no one in the office to ask at that time. Tried to call from the room, there was a phone but to my surprise it wasn’t in service, no plug/ wired to connect. When check in/ check out staff was not clear could not understand them due to the plastic window they have & wasnt able to hear them or understand them. But the biggest disappointment was the breakfast not available as it says.

After my initial review, I've seen significant changes. That says they consider feedback from guest. Overnight guy is always helpful and fantastic. The day crew could be just a little more a pleasant but overall great improvements!

They do not have any breakfast though claimed both on Expedia and on street. Not sure why, thus a 3 star. It is not a big deal as there are some good brunch nearby.

The rooms were suppose to be non smoking but you could clearly smell the smoke stench in the room. As well as burnt marks from the cigarettes on the bed sheets. Thank goodness the manager moved us to another room.

That they do give monthly rates for guest that stay longer/ monthly b better on guest pay

I like that it was very clean and quiet . I didn’t like when I checked in the front desk offered smoking or not smoking, I chose not smoking and finished my check in and walked out the door. Then I realized my cousin does smoke and I went back in and wanted smoking and t went back in and he said no smoking room and did it with his hands. I felt like he was lazy and didn’t want to redo the paper work. It was cold outside and she had to go outside to smoke just cause a lazy man didn’t want to change the paperwork.

I was there for 20 hours and couldn't watch TV

The room was nice and clean. The staff were friend. The proposed amenities are where I had a problem. I was considering hotels that offered breakfast specifically because I didn’t want the added time and expense of going somewhere or ordering in. This property based on its price, proximity, and “amenities” were what I decided to go with. When we attempted to get “breakfast” our first morning there all that was provided were stale snack cakes. No actual breakfast of any kind. I have no issues with the property itself and for the price I was satisfied. I just have an issue with an amenity being listed that was inaccurate.

My wife and I were here on business for 2 nights. We loved it so much we booked another 2 nights. New bed sheets and clean room everytime we got back. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. No rip rap here. The fine folks up front make sure of that.

Unprofessional owners who only care about their appearance and their cars. The wife of the owner told me she didn’t need my card after checking back in it was on file. The man then calls me at 10:15 at night when I’ve worked all day and woke me up only to tell me to come down to pay after his wife screwed up! So they woke me up for their mistake then he was rude and said it wasn’t his fault! Complete arrogance and I literally mean they are flaunting their wealth and they all drive 100k over the top luxury cars! Even their kids it’s ridiculous. These are not working class people they are entitled people who could care less about the people who are paying their bills for their absurd vehicles. Ride, disingenuous, and smug. I’ve always stayed here and after this incident I never will again and if I were you I wouldn’t either! Worst experience ever and the rudest I’ve ever been treated

Property don’t allow you get a room after midnight even though you have purchased your room online and it says you can check in at anytime

The stay was nice, the pillows were flat, the sheets had burn marks from previous tenants, the pool was small yet clean, the breakfast was just wrapped honey buns and doughnut packages to go nothing like cereal or pancakes. Saved me a trip to the corner store I guess for snacks however not a real breakfast. Cameras all over the place which is nice security. The office staff like to be observant of the surroundings so dont worry there is always a pair of eyes watching you. No smoking room was nice however I stayed next to management so there was a strong odor of curry coming in the vents from them cooking at home. The unit was little dirty however overall clean. The tub drain did not work so no bubble bath and the shower head worked great. Enough pressure to knock off all the dead skin and then some.

Our stay was great. We were there for a concert so it was convenient to the location. Very clean and updated. Had no issues with anyone. The area was quiet and felt safe.

The hotel smelled terrible, there was cigarette burn holes in the bedding and the love seat! There were black hairs on the sheet that was folded over the cigarette burned blanket, we didn’t even touch the bed could see it from just looking at it. Absolutely unacceptable conditions for a hotel at any rate. The bathroom floor had water seeping up from it! We discovered all of this within 5 minutes of being in the room and refused to stay. Also we were denied a refund because they have a no refund policy, which we know why now! The place is a dive! I honestly hope no one has to unfortunately stay there. We cut our loses and booked at the Best Western Plus. I just hope this review helps others and entices the hotel to clean up their place!

Very clean

My most recent visit was my third time staying here (2018, 2019, 2022) and my experience has been consistently good each time. The rooms are clean, the air conditioning is cold, the showers have great water pressure, and having the extra fridge and little kitchen is handy! The beds are comfy enough and the staff is friendly. I’ll likely stay again next time I come down. My only complaint is, while there is enough parking, it can get tight. Also, there’s a bunch of speed bumps that are essentially like driving over a large curb. They’re a bit aggressive at any speed. That shouldn’t sway your decision to stay here tho! (Unless you have a really really low car lol)

It was a nice but my boyfriend didn’t close the window so we heard everything from outside and we couldn’t rest.

Room was clean and spartan. Had a dinette kitchen but not equipped so unless you packed your kitchen stuff you were out of luck. No coffee maker in room and one small trash can. Walls very thin so we heard one neighbor coughing at night, another had a loud radio and upstairs it sounded like they were moving furniture so they could clog dance. Breakfast was okay.
