Extended Stay America Suites - Baytown

Alex, Trent and Richard were all very helpful my stay has been extended for several days and they have made it so easy and are all very friendly! Great place to stay and very family friendly

I was checked in by the manager Ashley whom was very helpful and upheld the level of professionalism that matched the properties atmosphere, definitely made me feel like I chose the right place to stay

Richard was there in the evening and made sure the property was safe and well kept!

Trent was so polite and made the process quick and easy

Loved the staff! I had to extend my stay several day's and every day they were very patient with the process, Alex, Trent and Richard were all very nice, professional and polite I was even checked in by the GM MS Ashley and she was also very welcoming and helpful and the property is located by so very many restaurants and stores! And has a pool and every room has a full size refrigerator and a small stove and cabinet space making it very comfortable and the bed was perfect!

I checked in and was allowed to check in early so that was a plus and the attendant was nice, however I wasn't given instructions to as where my room was located and how to get there, there was no Wi-Fi offered at this hotel and wasn't told about it. The pool area could you use a lot of TLC, because it was very dilapidated and hot tub wasn't working or covered properly. I awake at 8am and went to get the breakfast at 9am and breakfast was over, but I asked and the front desk attendant said it was over at 10am, mind you it was 9am and there was no food out for the breakfast. So, I get up morning at 7am and go to breakfast at 8am and there was still no breakfast in the area. I had my grandson ask for 3 large towels and 3 small face towels, and was told no, because we haven't been there for two weeks and they don't give out towels. Well, I wasn't informed about that, and I had to go and buy towels to use. I will never rent/reserve this hotel ever again. Not a good choice if you are asking my opinion.

The room had nata flying everywhere and service was very horrible had to wait hour on someone to come to the desk and check us in then waited 30 mins on someone to exchange my towels they didn't service the room at all

Room was clean, comfortable bed and pillows. Larger fridge was nice. Lots of convenient electrical outlets for tech. There was not really any breakfast, just some oatmeal and coffee. I expect to have basic utensils, pots and pans, etc. when booking "extended stay" accommodations. No coffee pot in the room. They did move us to another room since the toilet was not working at first location.

Hall way carpet is too old with an odor.. Next door a dog was backing almost all the night i stayed there.

The property was open with anopen floor plan, the hallways were very nice snd wide. I enjoyed the open concept especially when you first walked in. However, it was extremely bare, the dining area was bare, with no decorations, therr no seating in the front when you walk in and it was much needed as well as benches outside. Overall furniture and decor were non existent and desperately needed. It’s just white walls wjth no pictures, painting. Etc. the pictures were much nicer than the reality. In my room and shower it was very spacious, the fridge and freezer were very clean and spacious. The fridge was nice snd cold and freezer was nice and freezing as well as adjustable! The kitchenette was very nice, spacious, I like the microwave, and the 2 burner stove, the cabinets snd counter tops. The amenities were great, rhe gym, business room, the ice maker wirh a vending machines, snd the laundry room was nice snd spacious with plenty of machines!!! I also liked the back door for easy access to my car to bring in my belongings snd take them out, and the security key entry made me feel safe! I like the large amount of parking and fent safe because we were right at the back door. When you first walk its extremely bare, the dining area was bare, with no decorations, theres no seating in the front when you walk in, by the elevators, or in the main what looked to be more like a living room area/perfect space for at least 3 tables. One as you walk in as another between the hallways, and then between the elevators, of course all different sizes. Maybe a coffee table between the hallways with two lounge chairs, a larger table for playing games or extra seating to eat between the elevators, and a small round table when you first walk in with chairs while waiting for your room information. It was much needed, as well as benches against the walls. Overall furniture and decor were non existent and desperately needed. It’s just white walls with no pictures, paintings, some standing lamps, fake plants, nice light fixtures, and you separately need rugs even in the rooms oversized under rhe beds as the floors wss a wooden tile (in the rooms). The pictures online were much nicer than the reality. My room was very dusty, especially the lamps, there was only one bedside lamp instead of two (one on each side of the bed), it was extremely hard to find the lights in the room, so it felt very dark at night, jnwas having to feel all around the room to find the lighting. The a/c lift was broken but all buttons worked. The shower wa extremely slippery even with the hand rails, I had to put the one size smaller than a regular towel in the bath tube in order not to slip an fall, same with tile floor getting out of the shower. Also, the room didnt have s chair, just an office chair, rhe room really needed an accent chair that has the ability for the bsck to lean bsck and the legs to lift or possibly s smell couch thst doubles as a small twin size bed, wirh a small short coffee table, as well as well as wall decor as the walls are completely blank snd need some color.

There's a musty smell throughout the entire hotel. I sprayed the room down with Lysol and Febreeze daily. The room appeared clean but i saw roaches when i turned on the lights in the morning. I never use hotel blankets and comforters but the sheets had stains and long black hairs on them. The staff nice and helpful. Overall considering people stay for long periods of time and keep

The room smelled of a freshly smoked cigarette. Mind you we checked in at 7pm and our room window was open with the blind down, the towels were dirty, bedhead was greasy along with bedside table. The ac did not work properly but maintenence did take care of that quickly, the lady working front dest from 3-11 was very attentive and apologetic but the overnight worker was rude and did not want to get up from back area when my husband went down to complain, expedia could bot get through to front desk either, the floor in the room was filthy, black feet could not be barefoot,, socks ended up the same. House shoes/sandles recommend! But i guess the rates speak for them selves, i habe stay at an extended stay in austin and san antonio and niether were as upsetting as this one.

Located near everything in Baytown. Very convenient. Be sure and bring all ur kitchen supplies if you’re planning to cook, etc. Kitchen and refrigerator are all kept very clean. Would love to stay here again when in the Baytown area.

The property looked clean. Yet had a strong odor like if the carpet was damped, A humid smell mixed with cleaning supply. So potent when i returned home my backpack and clothes smelled like it. The pool water looked brown. I didnt even bothered getting into it. I dont know if the gyy was a local but told me and niece to jot get in it at night. Because its more disgusting.and the jacuzzi didn't work.i checked in and waited maybe more than 5 minutes to check in because someone had fallen badly while i was walking in and turned out it was the receptionist.she had great customer service. I felt really bad for her because she was in a lot of pain. I went to take a nap. When i got out of the hotel there were some men who were BBQn in front of the hotel by the entrance door to the pool.while 1 was drinking.Not sure if that's allowed in Texas. When i returned back to the hotel. My key didn't want to open the door. I went down and it took around 8-10 minutes in order to get help. I said hello and knocked on the side door.my niece went again to the side door and finally the guy came out. The rooms are nice and comfy.

Honestly the only thing we liked was that the staff was nice. Upon arriving there was a small german roach in the sink then another one in the room floor. In the middle of the night when going to the restroom and turning on the light there were german roaches all over the floor - didnt feel like asking for another room since my children were asleep and it was too late at night and we only had a few hours until check out. There was no tv remote in the room, no toothpaste and for breakfast there was only a couple of granola bars no coffee available either.

The Checking in lady was helpful and nice but after that everyone else was unfriendly. They Always had an angry face whenever u asked for something. Hotel smelled bad. Felt very humid that bed sheets were moist. Employee said it was normal. Wouldn't get cleaning services until we stayed a week. Pool was dirty.

Dirtiest hotel I have ever been. Nasty sheets, bathroom with dust, food in the sink, a plate with food in the microwave. The front desk guy, gave us another room, but definitely I am never coming back.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. The whole place stinks like bug killer and mildew. Only one washing machine works for the entire hotel. There are so many dogs here. Friendly but they bark so much. One guy yells "shut the fk up" at them all the time. I dont blame him. People smoke cigarettes and weed by the front door. The pool is green. The air conditioner filters are completely filled with dirt dust hair and whatever. The rooms have dirt and hair on window ledges and wherever else. Just dont ever stay here.
