Motel 6 Azle, TX

I made a reservation for a handicapped room and when I got there she informed me they didn't have any. And my room was on the second floor. No elevators. I could not take my stuff upstairs on crutches. She didn't really seem to care but I ended up having to pay for it anyway so no nothing about my experience was good at all and I will never stay at a motel 6 again or even make a reservation

Staff was very helpful and friendly. This is very much a 'price point' motel and it was as good as any Motel 6 or similar I've stayed in. Room was well maintained and very clean, especially since I don't think they planned on letting it that day (had an administrative issue with original room). The night was surprisingly quiet given the location. This was partially a 'test stay' for an upcoming wedding and I have no qualms about staying there again or recommending to others.

The employees were very nice and helpful. There waa a homeless person sleeping on property and the pool is no longer open. Looks to be cemented in.

As soon as I got there from a long drive, I walked in handed my drivers license and the gentleman said “ we were expecting you, here is your key now get some rest and we are here for you “. I totally forgot where I was because it was so quiet. I’m fixing to book my 3 day trip for the Fourth of July 💪

Beds were comfortable, however the bathroom was dirty. Would be nice to have a coffee station.

Asked for chairs in room. Told no. Manager agressively rude. Didn’t make up room. No clean towels. Tv & remote did not function properly. Not comfortable asking manager to fix.

The property is exactly as it has been in times past. I know what to expect when I stay here.

Well. i stayed there for over 2 months. The chair provided for the small desk was a cheap metal thing. The metal legs scratched the floor (i am a double amputee). They charged me $300 for floor damage due to their crap chair. I am glad to be out of there.

Check in was simple and straightforward. Rooms were cleanish but not maintained well. Other guess were obviously getting drunk and being disruptive well into the night.

The staff handled all my problems efficiently. My first room.smelled really badly of smoke.

The door to my room was already open when I arrived and it has stains everywhere. Very dirty and sketch

It was very clean. Exceptional and tidy. The key didn't work. The lock didn't lock. The front desk guy didn't seem to care that there were drunk guys hitting on me and my child. He kept calling over and over again and was mad because we checked in kinda late.

Night shift attendant was disrespectful and lying about my dog barking all day. Each time I had stopped by to check on my dog I couldn’t hear him from the parking lot all the way to the door to us opening it. He’s a German shepherd with a loud bark too. We believe someone had attempted to get into our room to get a reaction like that. Would not recommend anyone with pets.

Door did not lock, toilet leaked and when taking shower water was only luke warm.

Sketchy people and checking in and staff really needs to move them to a part of the hotel that is unoccupied or report them for disrupting the peace

Room was okay needed repair but was to tired to complain staff told me the room would have been cheaper if I had just showed up and not booked through the service by 20$ cheaper also to late to tired to change my wife's cousin had passed away that evening and we had driven over 200miles

Location We reserved 4 rooms, 1 room: blood was found on the sheets so we were moved to another, again blood stains on comforter & sheets. The guests for this room left and went somewhere else. Room 2: heater did not work Room 3: black mold on the ceiling In the restroom. Room 4: was ok Location and staff were excellent, the rooms need some work.

close to airport the beds so worn down they had dips in them. we found cockroaches under fridge and bed frame.

Other occupants hanging out on balcony smoking marijuana various times of the night. Smell was coming into the room. If it was anything other than literally the only motel in town we would have left before the night was over.

DID NOT like that the front desk scanned and uploaded my barcode of my ID for check in. I held the ID in MY HAND when he asked to see my ID. He said, he needs to see the card. And then he goes and scans the bar code. Absolutely not necessary. Will not HAND OVER my ID to anyone again, who doesn't need it other than to SEE THAT I AM WHO I AM. Also, did not like that the pool (there once was a pool, is currently cemented over) was not functionioning, there is no pool. A manager said, before they cemented it over, there was an ongoing problem with local youth mostly, scaling the high enough fence, in the heat of the summer, and the cold of the winter (It was a heated pool!!), to illegally use the pool. Passerbys would see children in the pool unsupervised, called the police, police would get onto management to throw the youth/trespassers out, and they (youth) would be back another day. Seems like there was SOMETHING that could have solved the problem. A surveillance camera in the pool area at all times, for example.

Nothing It felt very unsafe, sheets had stains, showers still had dirt. It was not very clean.

Stains on pillowcases, washcloths and towels. Motel doesn’t offer any additional pillows when requested one additional. Faucets leak, toilets run, painted over fixtures due to laziness when painting rooms. Charge a $50 deposit that who knows if I’ll get back. Fixtures missing and wires just hanging. 10/10 would NOT recommend

What type of hotel doesn't provide coffee for their guests? And why would you show a picture of a pool in your photos when there isn't a pool?

i liked the convenient shopping and food sources near by and the friendliness of the staff.. i had an extended stay and always had clean towels and room cleaned

Noisy, from trucks reving their engines to the upstairs guest sounding like they were rearranging the furniture.

They should pay people to risk staying here. Place is horrible the door was broken barley shut or locked, toilet was broken, remote to tv broken. They didnt even give me the right room and then had the audacity to say they wouldnt up charge me for their mistake. For $107 this place is way over priced. I cant recommend not staying here enough

i liked the property because of the places to walk my dog was very convenient...my Room i stayed in had a few issues. The Safety latch on the door was broken...the toilet paper kept wanting to fall out of the wall... And finally, the water valve in the shower couldnt tighten down ver well and so it dripped quite a vit all night long...

The room had 1 very uncomfortable chair in it the bed was ok we like our coffe in the room but there was no coffee pot it was very loud our bed never got changed the worst of it is we had roches in the room and after booking and paying for the room we still had to pay extra money for using

It was difficult to get them to come to front desk. The room was hot and had bugs. They didn’t want to change rooms. Only motel in area.😩

Housekeeping was excellent. They kept us with clean towels and threw the trash everyday.

There were hairs on the sheets when I turned back the covers. So, I sat up and slept. Room in general pretty bad condition. The price was more expensive than I have paid for better rooms! Not good experience!!

my non-smoking room smelled like a dirty ash try when i walked in and my bed cover had cigarette burns on it in multiple spots. There was no water pressure or hot water for that matter, the shower also had multiple layers of paint over black mold. I left the motel and drove 20 minutes up the road to a much better hotel and did not return. On the way out I saw people doing what looked like drugs in the parking lot. 10/10 will not stay here again.

The room had Zero hot water for 4 days! Was very noisy and disruptive with people coming and going at all hours of the night and others were there that didn't even stay filling up the parking spaces 8 to be exact with 30ft horse trailers. Had to walk the whole length of the building to just get to my room! I will not be staying there again! I caught a cold from the room heater being poor quality and having no hot water while being 20 degrees outside. My daughter felt very unsafe with the drug dealers being right outside the room smoking substances and blairing loud disruptive music.

No hot water, not even warm water, roaches in the room, no shampoo, soap, outlets didn't work... Straight up trash. It was late, we needed a place and for a $90 price tag you would think it would be way better quality

The room was clean. We enjoyed our stay. We were surprised that the coffee wasn't suerved until 8:30. We are early risers snd missed our morning coffee.

The room was clean and the bathroom was clean. The TV worked, plenty of stations to watch. Main complaint was a neighbor trying to sing and Big Foot above us. Around two a.m. everything calmed down. The price was fine for what you get.

Cigarette burns in the comforter, no shampoo and conditioner stuff. Heard staff talking all night, and my room was next to the housekeeping area. People outside talking super loud and no real consideration for others.

Floors could have been cleaner and the sink is way too high for short people.

This place was dirty and smelled of smoke.. We had stayed here about 10 years ago and it wasn't much then - but now it is simply terrible !! Won't stay here again...

It may be the norm these days but, I missed having an iron, ironing board, coffee service and shampoo...but, I managed to survive. I'll stay there again the next time in Azle.

No boat parking. A surprise $50 deposit I’m still waiting on to be returned. A lot of middle of the night yelling in the parking lot.

Room was yucky. Dirty bedspreads, remote with brown crust on it. Dead bugs on window sill. Just felt gross

Worse than disappointing that there was an extra charge for having used hotels.com and I wasn’t told about it when booking.

There isn’t much good to say. Other than we weren’t disturbed at all and there are several fast food joints around the area also Walmart and Albertsons are located just across the street.Very pricy for rooms that are not at their best and have roches. Only reason I stayed was because it was the closest hotel to my sister and we would only be there to sleep. Next time I will make the extra 30 min drive to stay at a nicer place.

When I checked out I asked for it back & he said not until after the room was cleaned I probably will not use Motel 6 again

Looks brand new. Everything was in working order. Motel 6 generally provides more cheaply made, less comfortable beds than other budget hotels, and this one was no exception. But it served our purposes for one night.

RUN! Run far way! Room has not been properly cleaned in months, at best. Last guests food was still thefridge. Dirt was swept into corners. Beds were old, uncomfortable spring mattresses. Was not worth the money charged. Had it not been so late when i checked in we would have gone the extra 20 miles to stay elsewhere. Wish i had something good to say. Couldnt get out of there fast enough.

The check-in was terrible people very unfriendly my room was not very clean there was lots of noise and the police showed up at one point and they have yet to return my $50 deposit and believe me they have no reason to keep it!

Although the room was nice, I was very disappointed that I had to pay an unexpected 50.00 additional deposit. I have never had to pay a deposit at a motel 6. Although it will be returned, it will take 3-5 business days for it to be returned to my debit card. Very disappointed and frustrated about this. It should have been noted up front. I would not have stayed here.

The first room I had a bathroom sink that would not drain. They moved me next door to a poorly cleaned room with a fake fingernail in the nightstand drawer, goop on the floor and animal paw prints on the floor. I was afraid to walk on the floor. It was loud, the next door door squeaked loudly and the tenants of that room were opening and closing it all night.

The place was dirty, and tiles were coming lose. You could see very well where they did a bad jobin patching the holes in the doors and walls.

Towels on floor in office entry way, check in rep was pleasant, gross chair just outside of office, stairwells and sidewalks very dirty and gross. Room was just ok, zero amenities (shampoo/dryer/etc), paper stuffed in fixture holes above sink. Only place to stay, sufficient at best. Oh, the group of people hanging out smoking (now we know what chair was for), uninviting. Will avoid staying here again if we can help it.

Worn down rusty hand rails. Graffiti on steps.. barhroom had rust, fridge was dirty, all and all it was worst money i have ever spent on a hotel and will never stay in a motel 6 ever again

Overnight trip to the area. Worked out fine, no issues, no problems. Place was clean and convenient. The only complaint would be that the mattress needs to be replaced - it "bottomed out" when you sat or laid down on it.

The floors were a little dirty like they hadnt been mopped in a while. Our feet would get black from walking on it. Parking is awkward. Other than that its decent.

Didn’t like anything. There was Arguing in parking lot at 11:30 at night so loud everyone was coming out of there rooms and complaining. Beds were so old they sunk in and springs poke you. The head boards were broke and the frames were nasty with stains. Burn marks all over comforters and all along tub from cigarettes. Pool had no water in it. Do not go there!

The floor was not clean. The shower faucet does not work properly at all. You have to be a bodybuilder to turn it off and on. The TV did not work properly. The toilet did not work properly. Star things that housekeeping should have caught. All Motel 6 are like this I will never stay at another one
