Reviews
The hotel is highly praised for its beachfront location, cleanliness, and friendly staff. The breakfast is also frequently complimented. However, there are consistent complaints about the lack of available sunbeds and issues with guests reserving them early in the morning.

Good location and clean. We had to ask for a shower curtain.

The staff was very helpful, and they made me feel welcome. I was very hopeful to have a good stay, but getting to my room the room was dirty, the sink was clogged, the hallway smelled like weed. It felt very unsafe all around. Never staying here again! I had to get a different hotel.
- 5/5
Hands down best hotel in austin!!!
- 2/5
Hallways smelled horrible and front desk was very inconsiderate to my needs.
- 5/5
Room had a foul odor to it that I had to clean it and buy air freshener for it myself. Housekeeping does not come to your room at all to change or clean anything. However management and the front desk were super helpful with everything
- 2/5
TVs were down so for the entire night I couldn’t watch anything. The bathroom doo wouldn’t shut at all so the room was humid even more than it already was

Clean room and facilities. Great cool air conditioning not only in the room but in the building throughout. Although I didnt use the microwave, fridge or electrical stove but I appreciate the added amenities. Great value, will definitely return when in the Austin area again.

I didn’t like nothing
- 1/5
I checked into my room and it had a really strong chemical smell and I thought that wouldve gone away so I said fine, but then the floors had a thick film of sticky (im assuming cleaning chemicals) it was not enjoyable at all I ended up leaving early due to the smell being so strong. Had to get a place elsewhere.there was also people arguing in the parking lot for about an hour
- 5/5
Had full kitchen. Bed was not great looked old school.. nice hotel but don’t expect a lot. Bed is uncomfortable and they provide coffee barely… overall for work it was good
- 1/5
I was disappointed. I am not returning there.
- 4.5/5
Superb
- 4/5
Lot of people hanging around, not sure if they are associated with hotel or Not.
- 5/5
Yes, I will stay again. The property is very clean, and the rooms are updated. The only downside is that there are absolutely no perks: bring your own hairdryer and iron, no coffeemaker in the room, no creamer for coffee in the reception area, so yes, bring your coffee creamer, and if you use the kitchen, bring everything, as you will find not even a spoon. Otherwise, this is a very good place to stay.

It was clean and very close to where we needed to be. The bed wasn't all that comfortable and was VERY noisy.
- 5/5
Great!
- 4/5
I could see a cockroach in the bathroom
- 5/5
Clean room and clean bathroom. Once air conditioning was lowered I slept through the night.
- 4/5
Better customer service at front desk
- 4/5
We need superior customer service at the front desk. No, hello, thank you or have a nice day. It was mediocre customer service and that is being generous.
- 4/5
Bed was not comfortable at all
- 1/5
The Tv wasn’t working (it was broken) but they didn’t care
- 2/5
The room and towels smelled horrible like a mix of cigarettes and dog urine. Every time we would enter the room I was disgusted. The floors were also sticky. If a hotel allows pets they need to clean better between customers. The location and price were great but I would not recommend.
- 4/5
This is a new motel. Rooms are clean. Large frig, stove, and microwave in the room. Coffee downstairs was not very good (powered creamer…) But overall a nice place at a good price.
- 5/5
Each time I have stayed here, it was very clean, quiet, and everyone was friendly and welcoming. I had to change rooms and it was no problem in doing so.
- 1/5
They said my room had been given away even after I had already paid for it and reserved it days before. Was getting another room at another hotel when the guy came to my car 30 mins later saying my room was there after all. Got to my room with no sheets, blankets, soaps, not even the freaking shower curtains were there.

Room was clean and ready when I arrived. Staff was friendly and helpful. Easy location for food delivery. Eating utensils were not provided with the food delivery but the staff gave me some. Really helpful
- 5/5
They have very nice and helpful staff
- 3/5
It's good enough for a night and the money. Thanks!
- 2/5
Not the best location, service was not very helpful. Also had my room door trying to be opened while I was sleeping, no knock no nothing which happened twice.
- 4/5
Everything was great except for the staff. The 2 ladies at the front desk were rude to me, an elderly lady, and anyone else who “bothered” them. Glad I booked through hotels.com so I had to deal with them very little because they were just rude and acted like it was an inconvenience to have to do their job.
- 4/5
Good location and staff. It’s starting to show wear and tear with stains on the floor. Generally clean and comfortable.
- 3/5
No housekeeping until after 14 days, no coffee cups to drink coffee, room is smell not good
- 5/5
It was great but the coffee maker in lobby was broken. They were working on it though. Nice clean newer property. Very quiet. Would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Wonderful service!
- 3/5
Room was decent but not as clean as it could be. Hair was found in the bathroom. Sent photos to manager but have heard nothing back.
- 4/5
Nice place, needs blackout curtains because the outside lights are very bright. Needs an ice machine, you have to wait for your ice trays to freeze to have any ice.
- 1/5
My family of 3 checked in, only two towels in the bathroom. Either I pay $5 for the third towel, or I shower return that towel from the 3rd floor. Then I would be given a third towel. I've been a platinum choice Member for years. . NEVER HAVE I EVER
- 3/5
I booked it for 3 nights. It was clean, staff were kind, but amenities were poor (bed was not good enough)
- 2/5
The shower control limits hot water. They don't believe in hand towels because we are staying longer. Parking spaces are all for sub compacts. Smells everywhere. Nice housekeeper and man at front desk. The Rest SKIP!
- 5/5
It was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Very quiet for a Friday night and the parking felt safe plenty of lighting.
- 3/5
The Hotel itself is good, but their reservation system is terrible. I had a confirmed booking and had already paid $94.00. but when I arrived, they told me they had no rooms available and would only refund my money'. This situation is known as being 'Walked'. I have more rights than just get my money back. like my taxi from the airport. they should find me a comparable room instead. to make the long story short we did not agree and Ms. Dian is an exemplary employee. provided a decent room accommodated us.
- 1/5
yes the let you have pets
- 1/5
General manager has no customer service skills and needs to learn that you cant act or talk getto to everyone
- 4/5
Noise beds
- 2/5
Low cost. Good for a bed and shower.
- 5/5
Everything was good, friendly staff, clean room and free parking yay!
- 5/5
I stayed here on my workdays for about three months, and over that time it really started to feel less like a temporary stop and more like a stable, reliable home base. What stood out immediately was how practical and straightforward everything was. This isn’t a flashy, luxury hotel and it’s not trying to be. It’s designed for people who need a longer-term stay, and it does that very well. The room itself was consistently clean and well-maintained. That was something I appreciated more and more the longer I stayed. Having a space that felt orderly and comfortable after long workdays made a big difference. The setup of the suites is also very functional, with enough room to relax, work, and unwind. Many locations including the one I stayed at offer in-room kitchens with essentials like a fridge, microwave, and cooktop, which is a huge plus when you’re staying long-term and want to save money by not eating out every day. Another highlight of my stay was the staff. Every interaction I had was positive. They were friendly, respectful, and always willing to help when needed. That kind of consistent service really adds to the overall experience, especially when you’re staying somewhere
- 5/5
Yes it's a really nice
- 4/5
They only had 1 towel in the room and no extra when I asked
- 1/5
Unable to offer service
- 4/5
No ice and we had no towels. They say they were all being washed. Wanted to charge us for extra linen we didn’t even have.
- 3/5
Pluses: Adequate, well-lit parking. Friendly and helpful staff. Good television. Mostly quiet. Luggage trolleys. Spacious, clean, functioning refrigerator/freezer.
- 2/5
There was no laundry service. When we got there, the property had no water and no hot water for hours when we were able to take showers later in the evening there were no towels absolutely no towels. We didn’t even get towels the next day before we left. I would never stay there again.
- 5/5
Incredibly clean, and the staff was 10/10, all the way down to the housekeeper that was wonderful and all smiles. I've been on the road for two weeks, and it was the best stay I've had so far. Thanks everyone.

- 1/5
Staff is terrible, very unprofessional. The room was infested with roaches. Staff didn't want to swap us to another room.
- 1/5
Don’t recommend. Worst place ever.
- 3/5
The room was very nice with kitchenette but the bed was uncomfortable and the halls were very noisy heard doors open and closing and feet stomping all night
- 3/5
Yes
- 5/5
The room was clean.
- 4/5
this hotel is such a great price for the location, parking was easy and not to mention free! the area felt safe and comfortable. i always expect to have a bad time if hotels don’t have roku, but i was pleasantly surprised with the channels, there was a good chunk of channels that were right up my alley. there’s also a stove top in the rooms that would be super convenient for long stays. my only complaint was the weird smell in the hallways that kind of smelt like dog pee, the room was fine but the hallways had an odor. also if you want to shower i’d bring your own supplies, i only noticed one bottle of shampoo and hand soap. but other than that the ac/heating worked great, and i’d recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a stay in that area.
- 1/5
My laundry got stolen out of the laundry room on the afternoon of the 22nd. Within a 2 hour window. Also found a cockroach in the room the morning of the 24th. I documented it with my camera
- 5/5
Perfect. No problems

The staff gave good hospitality. I had an issue with my key to get into my room. They gave me a new room with no hesitation everything was smooth. I highly recommend visiting this place again when I'm in town.

Everything was as expected except for the non working refrigerator. Overall an excellent value.
- 5/5
Everything was great. I loved the room, very clean and spacious. Check in was a breeze and I had no issues while staying. Honestly, it's been the best hotel I've stayed in in a while. Thank you for your service.
- 5/5
Close to the Eagle.
- 1/5
Had to deep clean our own rooms, they had pet hair, they were short on toiletry, someone stole our groceries, and nothing was done about it, people would listen through the walls, didn’t have any privacy, I watched somebody from another room walk and listen to another persons from the out side of their door, some staff member were cool but others were all in your business, had a verbal disagreement, an they kicked us out with out reimbursing us for the 4 nights we still had left, and I had to move to another location and had to spend money I was saving, as well as stayed at this location for more then a month and never received our money from paying taxes or any type of discounts, and we got kicked out but there’s people that scream in their room and yell all day long and they don’t do anything about it they pick and choose, people need to mind their own business especially when your paying almost a grand for a stay
- 5/5
Friendly staff, good area, pretty clean
- 4/5
Very good property.
- 5/5
Parking didn’t feel safe
- 2/5
Bathroom - had mold on the bottom of the mirror, mildew smell would appear after a shower and the tub wouldn’t drain correctly. Hotel- smelt like weed and cigarettes in the elevator and on our floor. Also a fried fish or fish smell on the floor. Brought up to the nighttime receptionist asking to move or something to be done about the bug since I have asthma and the smells and mold were effecting already after the first night. Just got brushed off and now i’m fighting a nasty cough from it all.

I accidentally booked an accessible room. I asked the hotel attendant upon arrival to switch my reservation to a regular room due to the mistake. I've had this happen before where accessible rooms are booked on outside sites and Woodsprings have switched my room no problem without an additional fee. The lady at the desk told me that if I switched there would be a fee because I only paid a room rate of 51.00. The rate I paid was 63.00 room rate plus taxes for 74.00 in total-which I told her. She was unwilling to place me in a regular room even though I told her I would rate and was insistent that I didn't pay enough to be in a regular room. I stay at this hotel at least once a month and the amount I paid on this trip is the same that Ive paid for regular rooms in the past in fact it's a tad bit more. I should have been switched to a regular room without an issue.
- 3/5
it was fine
- 2/5
The room was a suite with a kitchen just there was absolutely nothing in the kitchen. No plates or cups or silverware or any kind of cooking equipment. Why have a kitchen if I’d have to bring my own. It isn’t easy to fly with a kitchen things
- 4/5
Also, they do not provide any "ZERO" hand towels - Crazy!
- 4/5
Nice
- 5/5
Good staff
- 2/5
There was an ambulance helping what looked to be a homeless person 3 times in my 3 night stay. Also I got locked out of my room because of a battery issue and it took the front desk person 2.5 hours to get me into my room that had all my stuff in there. The area felt unsafe and just weird vibes all around. I would not ever stay here again.
- 4/5
I found an orange under the bed; glad it wasn't moldy.
- 2/5
If it wasn't for Thomas it would have been a complete disaster. I had three different room on a two night stay. First room I was given was a handicap room being that I'm not and it was completely dirty from sheets to bathroom. Look like nobody tried to clean it. Second room tv didn't work. People hanging outside was loud and noisy blasting music all night. Rooms also smelled like mildew. Awful experience!!!!
- 1/5
The room smells bad. Didn’t have a good experience.
- 3/5
It was alright i would only say I had issue is getting the sink fixed which was broken on arrival, the door knob being fixed which again was broken on arrival and more towels, rags, and a change of sheets. I was told if I wasn't staying for longer than 7 days I couldn't get it changed which I understand but it was still a hindrance.
