The walls had holes and there were markings on the walls like spray paint. The room smelled like stale smoke even though it was non-smoking. There was a toothpick in my bed that I found after I'd slept in it and there were bugs in the bathroom. Staff was nice enough and the bed was good, as was the a/c.

Rooms disgustingly dirty. Indian guy running the building made me leave from 11-3 for 4 hours after I extended another 2 nights and I was trying to explain how I stayed at at 50+ hotels and never had to check and and come back. He said I was wasting his time and yelling at me and when I came back he put me in a different room when I could’ve just stayed in the same room like every other hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I stepped on a sharp object so don’t walk barefoot in there and there was blood and god knows what else was all over the walls. Pillows were as thin as my wallet. Parking was fine bc no one was there probably dude to the behavior of owner and lack of cleanliness. The bed you could just feel springs no mattress and woke up with severe back pain. I HIGHLY recommend staying away from this motel. It’s cheap but pay 20$ more and get a nice motel. Worst experience in Austin I’ve ever had

Upon arrival, I observed roaches and a cracked toilet, among other issues that negatively impacted the habitability of the unit. As a result, I am requesting a full refund for my stay. I have video evidence documenting the condition of the property and can provide this documentation upon request. I respectfully ask that Expedia review this matter promptly and process a refund based on the conditions encountered. If you are submitting this directly to Expedia, I can also make it more assertive and consumer-rights focused while remaining professional.

Mold growing on ac. Mold on bathroom towels. Bathroom floor dirty. Broken sink and tub. And the room smelled. Horrible. Staff does speak English well. The worst experience ever.

The first time I checked in was wonder the lady was very friendly and helpful but the second time was actually a nightmare not only did I lose 94.00 but I lost the room because they wanted a 50.00 deposit which I did not have when I asked where it said I needed a deposit was a small printed paper than no one would see if they have bad eye sight. You should take the off immediately

Nice property with a very kind owner. My room needed a little cleaning when I arrived, but overall I’ve had a peaceful and comfortable stay. I appreciate the hospitality and the calm environment.

This place is the worst place to stay at. Not higyenic at all. Barely any service and super rude people. The place it’s nasty and smells bad. There was even blood marks in the floor. The towels were dirty and no security at all. When checkout was close the recepcionist opened our room door without any permission while we were in bed still. He was literally screaming at me telling me to get out already. DONT STAY HERE.

This place is the worst. I stayed there maybe an hour after checking in. I was walking to the bathroom and where the carpet meets the tile stepped on a nail or staple and punctured my foot the bathroom had mold all over the place.

The toilet seat was broken. The sink was broken. The carpet was dirty and full of hair! The walls were dirty—smeared with food, I think! The microwave was filthy; it even had spoons left inside. The drawers were disgusting and also contained spoons. The lamps were all rusted and covered in grime, and the curtains reeked of cigarette smoke. The bathroom towels were of very poor quality and stained. The bedding smelled terrible, and the sheets were stained. The internet wasn't working. The hot water in the shower didn't get hot enough. And the showerhead sprayed water everywhere, soaking the entire bathroom floor! The refrigerator didn't cool sufficiently; our drinks stayed warm. And the air conditioner was very noisy and didn't cool the room enough! I complained to the staff and voiced my grievances, but they offered no solution. They told me I could go to another hotel if I didn't like this one, but that they could not issue a refund—and that they didn't have any other rooms available anyway! I believe this hotel does not meet the necessary standards to provide hospitality services! A horrible experience. I always book my hotels through Expedia, and I have never—ever—had such an outrageously bad experience as this one!

The room had a terrible mode problem. The first room they tried to put us in. They were kind of rude when it came down to understanding my frustrations honestly charge for a $50 deposit that should not have been charged if you ask me with the conditions of the room overall I have no idea how they’re still open.

This is not suppose to be used, very dangerous, the whole place is falling apart and nothing I mean nothing is clean. Got sick from molds, cuz the whole place is to be tear down. Just stay in your car if that's the last place.

Asked for a different room ... manager says he has no rooms avail although parking lot empty.... had to pay 1o dollar mor e per night to get a slightly better room.... there was no refund available... ... not friendly... do not go there...

They took my money and made me pay for a deposit then keep me out a hour later because I had a guest over and then still called the cops on me and Expedia refused to help me in anyway I would never rent a room from them both Expedia or village motor inn.

When we went to our room, it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The bed sheets had cigarette burn holes, there were hairs on the toilet seat, the sink was broken, and there was dust everywhere. It was clearly not cleaned properly. After we complained, they reluctantly agreed to change our room, but the staff seemed annoyed by the request. The second room was slightly better, but still far from acceptable. It was still dirty, and the sheets had an unpleasant odor, almost like urine. Overall, this was a very poor experience, and I would not recommend staying here.

The absolute worse place to stay full of homeless and problematic people coming and going in and out of property all the time, up until 3:00 am in the morning

Don't stay here. Everything about this place is disgusting. EVERY SINGLE THING IS DISGUSTING. The manager, the property, the other people staying there, the room, the smell, the walls, the bugs, the hair everywhere, the stains, the shredded cheese in the already slept in sheet. And they force you to sign a paper saying there are no refunds no matter what. DO. NOT. STAY. HERE.

I was pretty disgusted when i found rat poop on the tables and some black stuff in the shower. I honestly just got there and fell asleep. When i woke up to take a shower i found all of that. I wouldnt recommend this place at all.

Heat and ac worked which was a pleasant surprise. No blanket. Just 2 sheets. Tv was over the air not cable. Ceiling was falling apart. Stuff from previous resident left in drawers. Broken glass all over outside the room. Black out blinds were decent. Hot water was sporadic. 50 dollar deposit was refunded quickly. Holes in doors. Door lock was broken. To make it worse as we were leaving we watched the guy from the front desk go in our room and remade the bed with the same bedding we had just used (unwashed). We have stayed here before. They do have rooms in better condition. Also worse. Stayed a couple years ago and microwave and fridge and heat did not work and they did not help me out. But this time seemed better. Until watching the bed made reusing my sheets I would have still stayed again.

Roaches, flies to start. Negligent maintenance and upkeep would be an understatement. Gross, filthy. Didnt sleep do to my room mates ( roaches and flies ). Do yourself a favor… dont stay here unless you are heavily into crack.

Fast check in and check out. Room had all light fixtures working just needed an additional bulb above bathroom sink. I love that the room had a microwave and mini fridge that worked properly. The complex was very quiet and 3 minutes away from transit bus stops. Cornerstore was next door along with a restaurant.

Walls show wear, fixtures are tarnished, towels are thin. You can hear several neighbors.

The staff was RUDE! I explained to them I’m having health issues, they refused to move me to a room on the ground floor. They refused to bring clean towels to my room. I’ve stayed there during travel to Austin before, I like the SOCO area. This place has lost a repeat customer!

The pictures don't match the hotel. There is alot of homeless hanging around all day and night. Room was decent for the price but if you want to feel safe I wouldn't pick this one.

Place was disgusting

Everything is poorly maintained, stairwell smelled like urine, random graffiti on the walls. When I entered the room and turned on the lights, saw a couple bugs scurry away from the sink. Same thing in the bathroom, bugs scurrying away from the toilet. The air conditioning unit had mold visibly growing in it, and I had to turn it off because I could feel my throat becoming irritated by mold spores/mycotoxins in the air. A person with mold sensitivities could have been significantly harmed by that level of exposure.

Homeless people were always present on the property and things could get loud from time to time - heard from inside the room. Spend a few more dollars and stay in somewhere better.

The cash deposit they demanded for prepaid rooms was NOT fully refunded on checkout as promised. If Expedia is willing to accept and list these properties, I'm done with Expedia. How can I get my unrecovered deposit refund? How can I be refunded for the whole horrible experience?

Didn’t even bother checking in there were people outside just drinking alcohol and seemed pretty unusual and unsafe at 2 PM in the evening. Drive through the parking lot and found another hotel, same price better quality.

Room smelled like a drug den. Smelled of weed, cigarettes and bad choices. The smoke detector had been ripped off the wall, picture stolen and not replaced, a hole in the bathroom ceiling the size of my head, stains on EVERYTHING! Even the lamp shades.

The location was way to far from my job. But I made it work. Staff was ok.

1st room I was given had bugs running across the bed when I turned on the light. 2nd room I was given had bugs on the walls and under the pillow. They would not issue a refund or voucher. The 3rd room was an upgrade and was bug free
