Tru by Hilton Austin Airport, TX

Everyone was nice and very helpful. The airport shuttle was such a helpful amenity. Breakfast was delicious!

When checking in, the customary $25 incidental fee was charged to my card, which is normal. Then immediately after that was explained, I was told that there was a parking fee for parking in the hotel parking lot of $10.83 and that that charge would be taken from the incidental fee I had just prepaid. I said, "You're charging me for parking in the hotel parking lot?" "Yes" Just seemed odd to me that this particular charge was assessed at that time. I have never been charged to park in a hotel's parking lot before. Perhaps this is normal operations now and perhaps I missed this while making the reservation. Not a huge deal over $10, but just found this odd. I'm guessing most people park in the parking lot of the hotel, so its just another added revenue stream for them.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it easy to relax after a long day. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything I needed. The location was convenient, and the amenities exceeded my expectations. Everything from check-in to check-out was smooth and hassle-free. I truly enjoyed my experience and would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and enjoyable place to stay!

They charge for parking! Even as a guest of the hotel, that’s absurd. Might as well stay downtown near the action of going to pay to park anyways. There is literally nothing around here and the free breakfast was nothing special.

Excellent hotel near the Austin airport. The breakfast was good, and the rooms were nicely appointed. Little things like good quality toiletries and a nightlight in the bathroom were much appreciated. Hotel staff were cheerful and extremely helpful getting me to the hotel after a very late flight. We liked it enough to book another night for our departure.

It was very clean and had a fun, unique atmosphere. Bed could have been slightly more firm and the room was a bit small. But, it is hard to find things we didn’t like.

From the time I called to ask about checking in the staff was nothing short of helpful and kind. I was there for work which starts at 3am. The young lady at the desk put together a grab and go for me so I was still able to have breakfast. That little thing touched me! I would highly recommend this hotel!

I found everything I needed right at the hotel or within walking distance. The staff were all very friendly and willing to provide any assistance needed.

The rooms were clean bed comfortable and plenty of soft pillows as well. One down side I cannot have caffeine do to a medical condition and there was no decaf coffee at all so that was a bummer ! Otherwise the stay was great.

From the moment we walked in the front doors until we checked out, the hotel staff were amazing and so very helpful. The property is very clean and the breakfast was very good. The location is perfect.

Great experience, I asked for an early check in and they had availability of course with the fee but the simple fact o was able to check in at 11 was a huge plus. The rooms super clean, beds were very comfortable ac worked great no complaints!

Great TV and streaming services you can sign into it. For an airport hotel, this place is perfect for a quick stay before your flight.

The staff was great, especially the young lady on Wednesday who handled the.breakfast buffet. We were a little late (I thought I was told until 10:00 at check-in) and she gave us some food, anyway. Very nice. My main problem with the property is the phone system. It was extremely difficult contacting the hotel to request the airport shuttle.

Breakfast needs improvement. Everything else was great except for parking. There’s not enough spaces for guests.

Loved that they have a pool table for guests to enjoy. Everything was great about hotel but the breakfast was not that great. Also, parking seems to be a problem due to not enough spaces for guests. We had to park at their sister hotel in short proximity but an inconvenience.

I love staying here, my favorite airport hotel. Super clean rooms, sheets are always impeccable and the bed and pillows are as comfortable as home. Love the location and ease of getting to the airport for early morning flights.

Ravi was the only staff member who was friendly. None of the staff wore name tags.

This was a favorite hotel of mine when I visit Austin. But the past two times I’ve stayed it hasn’t been the same. They want to charge for everything…they charge for parking and I couldn’t find any place to park. They want to charge for wifi now and it was always free for guests. Next they will add a fee for free breakfast! The staff are not attentive to the guest. I always see them sitting down or not available. Only people that are helpful is the kitchen staff. Time to try another hotel.

Super dirty hotel the elevator had coffee spilled all up and down the walls on several walls both days never cleaned. The parking lot is tiny and you have to park across and down the street

Good location close to airport, bad lighting outside in parking. Poor parking availability. Hotel cute, rooms nice, but bed was terrible. Mattresses need replacement as they have noticeable dips literally all over. Would not choose here again.

There was a strong odor of Febreze in the lobby and a musty odor in the hallway, but the room didn't have either smell. The room was reminiscent of a dorm room. The whole place seemed geared toward a younger customer, maybe high school age. Older people who don't have to have their egos stoked 24/7 can be put off by some of the nonsense. The comfort and convenience of the place overrides the ick factor somewhat. I loved that there are USB ports and receptacles galore. The breakfast is probably the best I've seen in a hotel and the lounge/breakfast area is very comfortable. I did not appreciate being gouged $10 for parking or that the "free" internet requires all your personal information to access. Again, that comes of being older and wise enough to know what they are going to do with that info. This hotel would be ideal for the kind of person for whom it was obviously designed, but in spite of a really good night's sleep, I wouldn't stay there again.

Was a quick 1 night stay. No issues other than the person working the desk advised us that there was a $10 charge for parking. Web site said it was free. I never was charged the $10 so I guess it all worked out.

Front desk attendant was friendly. Clean room and comfortable bed. Room faced highway and was a little loud. AC unit was very loud. Breakfast was not ready at 6 am (as advertised), so we weren't able to eat anything before heading to airport. TV was a great size and we appreciated having access to HBO Max. Convenient to airport and provided shuttle service every 1/2 hour (we had a rental car and didn't use it). Pleasantly surprised for the price and would stay again.

We got into the room after walking in from 100 degree day to a 78 degree room, which sounds cool, but is not. Turned air down to 60....nope. Power went out in middle of the night so it was a miserable night sleep.

I required an accessible room, and it was totally compliant with ADA regs — except I’m only 5’ and almost needed a step stool to get into bed! The rooom was spartan, but the staff were delightful. I needed a bench in the shower and there it was. The lemon-scented soaps were anchored, but in these days of austerity, that could be overlooked. The doors weighed a ton, but I suspect that had to do with fireproofing. Would I stay there again? Yep.

Everything was good and clean. Only thing I will suggest is, keep the lobby Coffee and the water a bit hotter.

Great place to stay for an early next morning flight out of Austin.

Check in was rough. The system was down. So staff took my credit card and ID and went to a different area. That made me very uncomfortable. So with the system being down the key cards did not work. So every time we went to our room staff had to let us in. The air in the hallways wasn't working so it was hot. The air did work in the rooms. I would not stay in a Tru by Hilton again. I expect more from that brand.

Old granola served at breakfast, don’t ask for toilet paper as the rolls are half full to begin with and you are to pick it up in the front. No more than 2 stars

Room was clean and comfortable, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc was included which is helpful. The hotel itself is fun, has pool table, fussball, etc. plenty of snacks for purchase. Staff felt a little informal, would prefer a bit more polished reception area, overall it feels casual and it was great!

The room are very basic and small, but it works for one night. No closet, just a place to hang a few pieces of clothing. Because the hotel is located next to the highway, it is noisy. The room has a noise canceling device and earplugs. The device is noisy, and did not work for me. I was very tired and had to wake up very early, so I had a good short night. I looked for a place to have dinner and options are not good. If you don’t mind all these issues. The price is right and the hotel rooms are very clean. The staff is friendly. One night is ok, not sure if I will be back, mainly because of the noise. Other than that, it is a good place to stay. Great for young people or travelers that will spend a few hours at a hotel.
