I did not understand how my bill stated that the charge for 2 nights was a little more than $272, but my bank showed a debit of $320.00. If I had the time, I would have gone to the hotel and disputed the charge to my bank. I hope that this message will alert you to my concerns.

It was perfect for what we needed and at a reasonable price

Our rooms were extremely clean, and the breakfast was delicious! Will definitely come back and stay!

Everything was very good except there was no breakfast on the last day of my stay. The man at the desk said the woman who sets up the breakfast was in a car accident that morning. No backup plan from the hotel.

We enjoyed our stay with our nephew very much. He thought the pull out couch was awesome. We enjoyed the pool at night as well. We never made it to breakfast but we heard from fellow hotel slayers that it was good. The staff was very nice and accommodating. I will say, in the suites, put more towels, please. We only had two towels and there was three of us.

Great location. Very helpful and accommodating staff. I don't know what it was but I did not feel comfortable in my room, like I felt like someone was watching me the entire time!

No AC in the hallways made the room warm near the door. Breakfast was cancelled for renovations and then reopened the next day. Makes me think that the kitchen wasn't being renovated and they lied to cover up something. Pool was filthy. Rooms are very small. The shower is very poorly designed. The bathroom gets wet when you shower. Bed wasn't great.

Hotel is located in a great area with near by walkable restaurants. Also easy access to downtown. Great price for a Hotel in Austin.

The most important thing to me when travelling is safety and cleanliness. I chose this hotel because both were highly rated, although I was skeptical when reading the reviews. To my surprise this hotel really is as EXCELLENT as everyone said! Truly a gem that far exceeds other hotels in the area. The staff was ALWAYS professional, I never worried about my safety, and the room was clean.

I did want to share one interaction that left me disappointed. On the morning of checkout, I came downstairs around 6:45 a.m. because my wife is pregnant and was already awake and hungry. I mistakenly thought weekend breakfast began at 6:00 a.m. After grabbing a cup of coffee and a couple pieces of fruit, I was approached by the employee working the breakfast area/front desk. She said, “Can you please not take anything from here? I have about 70 people coming down here, and we’re running low on stock.” Once she explained that breakfast didn’t begin until 7:00 a.m., I completely understood. The mistake was mine, and I even offered to return the fruit since I had already handled it. She declined and allowed me to keep it. My concern was not that I was corrected—it was the manner in which it was done. The interaction felt abrupt and unwelcoming. A simple greeting and explanation such as, “Good morning! I’m sorry, but breakfast doesn’t begin until 7:00 a.m. You’re welcome to come back then,” would have communicated the same policy while making a guest feel respected and welcomed. Other than that. It was a great place to stay for the price.

After some initial issues with cockroaches in our room we were promptly relocated to a new room on an upper floor by the helpful staff. Internet also suffered some problems due to heavy rain, but that resolved, still found it relatively slow for remote business work though fine for e-mails. Free breakfast was good with nice variety and enjoyed the Texas shaped waffles, location was good for our needs but was a little put off by being charged nightly parking fee given there was plenty of parking in the area. The suite rooms with kitchen had a full size fridge and necessary items for meals. Several grocery stores conveniently located in local region were helpful

Very nice hotel and delicious breakfast!

Reason for the lower stars is that even though is a newer location, the shower looked like it was falling apart, plastic shower pulling from the wall, cracks etc...I was surprise AC was a window unit. We also were charged $10 for parking, I called and they said no charge, my BIL called and they told him there was a charge, is an open parking lot with no security nor a reason to be charged. Front desk also told us check-out was at 11am on Sunday even though confirmation and hotel website stated 12pm. We were there for one night for a funeral so not big deal but for a longer stay this could have been an issue.

Bad

Booked a King Studio and was given a double queen. Staff had no explanation as to how or why it was given away. Was not happy about this.

The biggest issue was the shower in room 300. We could only take baths or use the hand sprayer. The top shower handle was broken.

Pool wass dirty and staff including onsite manager were not very friendly or helpful

The type of room we booked wasn’t available at check-in. The hotel didn’t bother to notify us but did manage to send us an email about the parking fee. The hotel did put us in another type of room, but the sense was the hotel staff knew we couldn’t cancel. If we did we’d lose our money, so take it or leave it.

Overpriced. There was a huge, empty parking lot right in front of the hotel. But yet, they still want to charge $10 a day to park in their lot.

I didnt like the bathroom being so close to the bed in the suite. There was a little hair in the bathtub. The hotel was close to a lot of restaurants.

Very happy with the hotel, the amenities, and cleanliness! Location was great to see family in the area. Staff was friendly. Laundry facility was a bonus. Only issue was front desk personnel seemed not to be present a lot of the time. Would stay again.

Things happen.. found used condom on bedroom floor which they came the very next morning and cleaned our entire suite for us. The staff and housekeeping were very nice. The pullout isn’t for an adult. Had stains which I bought stuff to clean it but my 18 year old son had to sleep on small couch with legs on floor and he is 6 feet tall and scoliosis so basically no bed. The mattress for the pullout was very thin and bar in middle of it stuck in his back. The gym was nice and we liked the hotel being tucked away.

The room was nice. Bed was comfortable and the room amenities were good overall. The TV was in an odd position. Decent sized bathroom, but I hate an open door shower. It's cold, but it also gets the flooring wet, so it is curling up near the shower entry. There are lots of places to eat within walking distance. Speaking of which, breakfast is kinda meh. Hotel breakfasts are usually pretty underwhelming, but this one was maybe just a bit more disappointing.

Great location, parking was easy. The hotel was clean, tidy and the staff were all nice and friendly. The breakfast was included and there’s was a good selection. There were some good facilities in terms of a pool and gym too. Really liked this hotel. Nothing at all, everything met my expectations, it was great.

The location was excellent for what we had to do and where we had to go. We weere there for 6 nights. The GM , Morrison Chukwumobi, rectified an issue that caused us a level of inconvenience. He was friendly and efficient. He is value added. The suite was nice, clean, and our location was quiet. Thank you I do not understand why we are charged $10/day for parking in an open parking lot! This is a great hotel, we stayed only one night but it was perfect, the room was nice and clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was good, we only had coffee and a banana, but it seems pretty complete. Staff was nice and installations were excellent.

Our suite smelled like piss, asked the front desk if we could move rooms or get it cleaned. Was told the manager was going to contact us and gave us a deodorizing spray to spray the room with, which didn’t help at all. Manager never called. The room wasn’t cleaned once, towels were never changed.

Room had weird musty smells, no shower curtain when we arrived and beds terrible.

We chose this hotel because we are Marriott members and it was 10 minutes away from where our niece and her husband live. It was so well priced and was absolutely exactly what we needed for this short stay. This is where we will be sure to stay going forward every time we come to visit them.

Breakfast was not avaliable and housekeeping in the roo. Was not performed daily.

Room was nice and amenities as described. Would have earned a perfect score, but cleaning staff knocked on my door at 8am (check out is at noon). They wouldn't stop knocking until I got out of bed and told them I was still sleeping. I picked this hotel because it had a late check out, but that's a useless feature if cleaning staff are randomly knocking on all of the doors early in the morning (yes, I saw them do this). There needs to be better coordination between management and cleaning staff. Shouldn't be hard to find out which rooms are vacant if they actually communicate. Hopefully management doesn't read this and blame the cleaning staff, this was their lack of organization and leadership. Not hard to relay which guests have actually checked out via a cheap walkie talkie. Do your job front desk and communicate with your staff!

All of the staff was very friendly and helpful.... Customer Service with a smile. Breakfast included a yummy breakfast biscuit with egg, sausage, and cheese.

Overall good. LED light in bathroom was broken. Given the location the $7.00 per night for parking is a money grab. Should not charge for parking.

The hotel was generally very nice. Mattress was a little soft - felt like we rolled toward the center. The cover was warmer than we like. Toilet seat was broken at the back -- had to watch to not fall off.

No one was a check in desk any time we came up and we had to wait. Manager was rude. Did not give us the right rooms that we had booked over a month in advance. Was not told of the $150 pet fee for 1 small 5 pound dog also they added $7 parking fee that we were not aware of until checking in. We will never come back again.

Overall our stay was great. We had a little hiccup with the reservation but the manager onsite and the staff there were amazing on making our trip there smooth sailing.

Diswasher was halfway out not secured under counter top. Entryway floors were very dirty w/ huge sticky spots. Front of refrigerator was all beaten up. Place needs talot of attention.

Pool was smaller than it seemed from the picture and didn’t seem very sanitary. Our shower had a stain but otherwise seemed upkept and nicely furnished. Overall we would come back 😀

The worst hotel stay ive had in years.. completely the opposite of a Marriott class hotel. The staff was extremely rude, gross, and unprofessional.. the condition of our room was terrible.. im not making it up when I say the room looked like it belonged in a crime scene. There were bullet holes covered up paint as well as a funky smell in the room as well as around the hotel. The maintenance guys were cleaning our door and just our door most of the time as well as just I don't know, it gave a very creepy vibe to the hotel in general. And last but not least, the hot breakfast that didn't exist. Marriott always does a good job, and this was disgusting on how this hotel could even be accepted by marriott's quality. It should have been a Motel 6 or even an extended stay or a travel lodge or something that's what this hotel? Advertises itself, the pool is gross. The rooms are gross. They don't have towels the market's never stocked, and it's overexpensive, and despite the gentleman behind the counter, openly scratching his a** in front of my wife was kind of icing on the cake, if you will, I will not be staying here ever again. And I honestly questioned marriott's quality after this experience.

Hardly any utensils in the kitchenette. No extra pillows and blankets for the sofabed. Bathroom sink was clogged and wasn't repaired until late the 2nd day. Just avoid this property.

i like that the suites had extra security behind a badgeable door.
