Great location. The bed was good. This was a property under renovation. I trusted the name Wyndham but it was not up to Wyndam's name although with a bit more work it might qualify. The bathroom door was severely damaged. one of the bath tub fixtures was was usable but was technically broken. There was no carpet which was plus. The office style chair was in bad need of replacement. It had a small fridge which worked fine and was clean. They advertise breakfast but all they offered for breakfast was coffee and a two-pack of small low quality sweet-muffins. I wasn't expecting much but some people would probably not be happy. The entire city of Austin has a 19% hotel tax which is outrageous.

People love to go in and out of their rooms and slam their doors. My neighbors did that all night but that can't be controlled.

I like the fact that I wasn't rushed to check out. I know that check out is at 11, some places they come to your room at 9 to let you know to check out. which is kind of inconvenient if you're trying to sleep late. We had exposed electrical from a missing lamp. The outlet was next to it and the hot wire touched frame and sparked. Had them switch our room. Based on the stains on the walls and doors, I believe these are mainly used for long-term living.

This property is full of homeless people and drug addicts and a hole in the wall.

I could not get into 1st room as door latch was engaged. Front desk person had to force the door open than asked if it was okay for me to stay in. I said no as door latch was not working and since it was forced open I did not feel safe. 2nd room had broken toilet set, no hot water in tub or sink, bathtub would not drain and unusable, no trashcan, and breakfast was no longer being offered. I booked this room and paid extra (room cost 69.30) for the stay to have breakfast. Breakfast is still advertised on site and I think I should get a refund (other place room cost 45.00) of 24.30 as this was not avaialbe. Also, Hotels.com should make Super8 Update website telling people breakfast no longer available, so people dont book expecting breakfast.

The room was in horrible condition and extremely run down. Did not feel like a comfortable space at all.

This property is very very run down. There is no security or any such thing. We checked in, and the female desk clerk put us in a room that is behind the property and faces a lot. People were hanging outside their rooms and in the parking lot drinking. It was the sketchiest hotel property I have ever seen. I think some people live there. Not a safe place for a mother and daughter to stay at all.

Upon arrival, there was no one at the front desk and did not arrive for about 10 minutes. There was a large dead roach in the bathroom and there were no body towels. Our keys did not work so we had to return to get them updated. Our rooms were not serviced after our first night. When checking in, the front desk clerk indicate there would be continental breakfast from 6-9 am. I went the following morning at 6:40. There was only coffee.

Hair on the pillow from the guy before, sticky nightstands and dirty floor, more hair on the shower from the girl before. Non-smoking room? All of the rooms smell like wet cigarette. Left the hotel as soon as I went into the room, they still decided not to provide me with a refund. Book at your own risk.

This place is just really dirty. The staff was nice. There was mold and cob webs in every corner the papers on the wall were stained yellow. The TV was broken. It was also really expensive. There were nice Wyndham art and a lighted mirror, but the bathtub still had someone's hair in the drain.

This is the most disgusting and horrible hotel we’ve ever stayed at. There were so many things wrong with it. They advertise that they had breakfast, but that was a lie. They only gave us one towel even though they knew that the room was for two people. The phone didn’t work so we couldn’t even call the front desk and had to either go down in person or call from our cell phone. The property was in disrepair and disgusting. There was black mold in the bathroom, broken furniture, stains and graffiti in the room. The staff was incredibly rude and horrible. I don’t care if they gave this away for free., I would never stay here again and I would discourage anyone from ever staying in this hotel.

Disgusting property! Crackheads and prostitution was abundant. The pool is now filled with dirt and apparently a dog park?

Towels were dirt, mold in reatroom, room smelled bad. Noise all night fro homless people roaming ourltside and too close highway. Don't stay if you have kids.

New beds and floors and bathrooms. Perfect for adults with no children who are looking to be out most of the time. Old reviews can't be trusted. The team improved it.

If you need the cheapest available option, then this might work for you. Otherwise it is not a pleasant place to stay. The area is very rough there to be honest. You need to be OK with sex workers, homeless, and people doing "business" who are not staying at the hotel being outside all the time and walking by your door. If you're outside they sometimes talk to you or make comments. There was broken car window glass on the ground right where I parked. The room itself was OK, at least it was clean and the AC worked. It did NOT have a safety lock on upper part of the door. Half of it was broken off it seems. Bathroom was the best part. People working there were nice. I would never stay here again. The photo you see in this listing did not look like my room at all.

Room was neglected and extremely dirty. The sheets were stained and the towels were also stained. The building itself was in unbelievably bad condition and it was extremely unsafe. A lot of people hanging around and being loud. We felt so unsafe there that we didn’t stay. The door at some point had been kicked in because there was no safety chain or stop. We have pictures if you want them.

Upon going to take a shower, one of the towels was seriously stained and one more additional towel in the bathroom that was damp, so it’s unknown if it was previously used. Management was good and swapped out the dirty towel for a fresh one. TV is spotty and had issues We were told there would be a breakfast. There was no breakfast. They had hot coffee and a selection of either blueberry or chocolate muffin behind the bar. So if you are just needing four walls and a bed to sleep in, this is your place. Don’t expect anything above that.

Its a shame for Wyndham to have this hotel carry their brand name. Rooms are disgustingly filthy, there is no service culture as the front desk team is indifferent and lacks professionalism. Property is frequented by druggies and other anti social elements right outside the room door. Take your stay elsewhere. This Property is not fit for even a distress stay.

Property advertised continental breakfast. Only offered coffee and juice???????? Did provide a muffin when asked where the food was but it was not on display. Room barren - no coffee, no cups to get a drink with, missing shade on night light, door wouldn't latch properly, security lock would not lock. Substandard. Charged a $50 deposit to my credit card which was not mentioned in the listing. Nothing but crap!

Staff are people for the people! I ran into bank issues an they made me feel like there wasn't anything to worry about an I appreciate how well they handled the issue.

Our room was dirty, they did not clean it daily despite us asking, shower handle was broken, and only had scalding hot water, breakfast was green bananas, stale muffins, and diluted apple juice. Surrounding area is super sketchy with prostitution and drug activity.

Overall, if you want to save money but don't want the riff raff this is the place!

Sadly, it was not the pleasant stay i had hoped for. I made the reservation for 2 guest. Toiletries were only for 1. The AC system in the room made the most loud leaf blower noise when on. There was no trashcan in the room other than the one in the restroom. The door to the restroom was hard to open fully due to uneven floor from what was clearly water damage. The residue was shown on the floor and the baseboards. There was a whole in the restroom wall. When i called to the front desk to ask to get switched, Surprise, the room phone is not working (Dead) .. i was just so done with it all. Definitely NOT worth $160 per night. Never again.

I did not stay there after safety concerns.The parking lot was full of sketchy people that I assumed were on drugs. The manager was extremely nice and understood my concerns and canceled my reservation for me.

The location is very convenient. Great price. Highway road noise is high. The room needed a chair. Some room and bathroom fixtures and items were broken and needed to be replaced. One item was the toilet seat: it was not attached properly and one atthment screw was missing. The smoke detector was broken.

Our room was graffitied and had holes in the whole the lights didn’t even work just one lamp and the walls were dirty we ended up leaving but had to pay a $30 fee to cancel the reservation there were a lot of homeless and questionable people just walking around the hotel and in the parking lot

Worst hotel ever. Room did not have safety hasp on door and deadbolt didn’t work, probably from having been broken into before. Room dilapidated from age. Broken TV. One small old bath towel. Obvious prostitution going on. I was afraid to go out to the car to get my cellphone charger. Still waiting to hear about credit for checking out early. I can’t believe Expedia even books this place. Had to wipe the dirt off my feet from the floor.

The floor wasn't clean! The toilet wasn't cleaned, and there were urine stains around the rim of the bowl! They advertised a breakfast in the morning and there was NONE. The overall condition of the room and property was poor.

If you just need a place to sleep and you’re not alone I suppose it will do. Would not recommend for family with small/young children. We had some obvious “working girls” 2 doors down from us, wouldn’t feel safe at night by myself there. The photos on line our a bit misrepresentative.

DO NO STAY HERE! Expedia should remove this place from their site. This place is a total dump and scam. First the parking area is infested with drug addicts. The door was poorly repaired with a 2x4. The room and property was nothing like the photos.

The conditions were absolutely unacceptable — dirty bathrooms, a clogged sink, and even dog feces inside the room. The entire property reeked of marijuana and other substances, with people openly smoking around the hotel. The smell even seeped into my room, making it impossible to breathe comfortably. To make matters worse, there were constant fights, shouting, and disturbances throughout the night. I genuinely feared for my safety and could hardly sleep. I ended up checking out early in the morning, completely exhausted and disappointed. It is shocking that a Wyndham-branded hotel would allow such conditions. I would strongly warn others to avoid this location at all costs.

Shower is full of mildew and no fan in the bathroom. Pictures on like loom NOTHING like the actual rooms. I was expecting basic but not life threatening. I was going to take the loss and find another room but my husband said we can make due for one night. Unless you are a strung out hooker or pimp or a stereotypical tweaker, DO NOT STAY HERE at any cost. I would never stay here again for free or if you paid me! I wish I was exaggerating but this place is a drug and homeless shelter more than a motel.

It was a horrible experience. As.we were walking to our room. There were several individuals doing dugs out in the open. As we arrived at.the front door to our room there was an individual passed out in front of our door. We didn't even stay because we couldn't access our room

Horrible room, the smell of taco was all over the place when the hotel was supposed to be 100% non smoking place! It was dirty and smelly! I complained about the shower faucet not working properly, and they told they were going to send a maintenance person to fix the faucet! (But they never showed up!) towels were dirty too!

Shower broken, tub wouldnt drain, no remote for the tv and the worse one is srug deals happening in the parking lot all night long.

Don't stay here if you value your wellbeing. There is 0 control of the property. People wandering around the parking lot at all hours, not people who are staying just vagrants. The room smelled like cigarette smoke and there was a cigarette burn on the chair. I stayed 2 nights and considered booking another hotel, regardless of cost, due to how horrible this was. The staff was friendly but it does not make up for the overall experience. The room did not look to have been cleaned thoroughly. There was bottle caps near the bed and stains in the bathroom door. There was a big hole on the closet door as if someone punched it and missing tiles. The room smelled like smoke. They did do a little cosmetic renovation but nothing to actually fix rusted features and a phone that did not even work. The area it self is super unsafe. There is a lot of outside activity at this hotel and the one right next door. Drug activity, people tweaking out and ladies walking around yelling at cars. Unfortunately for me I booked cheap, during a very busy Austin festival. I would not suggest this place. Thankfully my husband was with me and he was carrying.

Horrible don’t recommend at all. Crackheads everywhere. One car in the parking lot was broken into, drug user passed out in stairs, smell of smoke and weed everywhere. Do not recommend this place I ended up booking a room elsewhere I preferred to lose out on money than jeopardize my safety.
