Hotel was accommodating and the rooms were clean

Incredible Stay! The breakfast was delicious and the Rooms were huge! The parking was easy and check in was quick. I recommend this if your looking for a quick deal, big room, and luxurious amenities. 5 stars!

Nice lady

Mold smell in both rooms I was given. Didn't notice all the previous reviews of mold problem in this hotel. Current Ratings on this hotel is way off considering the health hazard of a mold-infested facility.

1 parking gate closed, requiring access through freeway access road with poor visibility Elevator out of commission. Bed top sheet on to of the blanket Noisy 5 Ice machine inop on floor 6. Vending machine on floor sold out 7. Gym closed for renovation.

Hotel a little run down, but ok for a short stay

Nothing The hotel is old beds, doors got holes, no working ice mech or vending machine. This is not a hotel for a family .. The breakfast was very trash disappointed and had waffles but no eggs or sausages, nothing but cereal and oatmeal package. I am very disappointed I really need a stay free on booking because that wasn't it

Close to downtown Nothing

It was next the hwy very convenient to get to and out of downtown. I also liked how they offered breakfast early in the morning as part of the amenities here. There was a lot of homeless people walking around the area but for the most part they didn’t really bother anyone

Price was low Not even a coffee either at room or in the common breakfast area. Sharp at 9 am, they removed even the coffee.

Worst bed I have ever had at a motel. Only one very slow elevator working. Not very secure.

My room had a very musty odor smell like feet and after asking the front desk for air freshener, and I never got it end up buying a bottle of air freshener from my room

Staff was nice Wasn’t my favorite, whenever I’d be in the room I’d get a massive headache. Not sure if there was mold under the paint or what but could not stay there.

The location. Terrible. Horrible. Our first room 231 was "blocked" and should have been labeled inhabitable due to the black mold on ceiling(painted over), on smoke detector, on lamp shades, on wall pictures. Hole in bathroom door. Front desk lady incredibly rude and disregarded concerns. Flat tires on luggage carts, could not use. Air conditioner cool but room is very damp. No air conditioning in hall ways, super hot, smells like mildew. Ice machine on our floor was broken. Elevator was broken. Appeared to be 2 bullet holes in the glass of a stairway door. No toilet paper holder and could not get us one. Shower bar loose and barely hanging to the wall. Worst hotel, do not stay here. Management seems not to care about the customers or the general upkeep of the hotel.

The property at a great location. Staff were nice. Rooms are good and clean. The elevator was out of service, which meant I had to carry the stroller up to the top floor and then navigate it down the stairs, making it very inconvenient. Additionally, the breakfast options were quite limited. The bread was served without basic accompaniments such as butter or jam, which made the breakfast feel incomplete. I hope these issues are addressed to improve the experience for future guests.

It was Dirty and it smelled

Pretty gross. Overall, not somewhere I would ever stay again. I can’t even go into list every single thing that was wrong with it. Just everything is disgusting.

Staff are good. Air conditioning is good. Room is too old, bathroom door is damaged, toilet seat is discolored some part is white some part you can see the wood inside, electric socket is broken, pillow is small, blanket is so thin and old. Breakfast is poor, only waffer and cereal. Breakfast area is small not enough seats.

Both elevators broke down while I was there. The food was limited. It took like going through 4 rooms to find one that was good. 3 of them either had a TV that did not work, or the fridge did not work. The luggage cart was all bent up and barely rolled. Breakfast food was limited.

Rooms have very uncomfortable beds. Very disappointing. Certain t.v's don't work and staff knows the brand??? Smell of weed/ pot very bad. Especially when u open your hotel door..

AC was cold but they ran out of waffle batter the second day I was there

I stay here occasionally with friends and never had a problem with it until this time . I came by after work to collect my deposit and they said they kept it for "smoking in room". My friend can be seen multiple times on camera going outside to smoke and knows better than that, as for myself I don't smoke. So I basically got jacked by these guys for my deposit.

The property is old , the bedding was scratchy and not comfortable at all and the bed was like a rock , what improvements they have made are cheap and not done well.

We were in Austin for Formula One. The hotel was perfect for us. Nice breakfast clean and comfortable room.

Sadly this place is full of roaches. We had to end our stay early and they would only refund us a portion. The cable didn’t work half of the time. Not familiar with the area but there are tons of homeless and druggies.

Was kind of sketchy? Too many people there looked like they was doing bad stuff. Couple of arguments that was there took a picture of the big hole that was in the bathroom wall. The best thing I like. Was the shower. Bed was kind of comfortable. Deleted picture already

Housekeeping didn’t clean the rooms even after calling them multiple times

For a nonsmoking room, it smelled so bad like a smoker. We had no comforter. The bed felt like we were in a waterbed, slightest movement almost put you in the floor. The air conditioner made loud horrible sounds all night, and the towels were as thin as paper ones. The size of the TV was a joke, channels didn’t match stations. Big disappointment!

The elevators were very slow and took minutes to get to my floor. Our door looks like it was broken into in the past. It had chipped wood and it was a little deformed. The shower made a screeching noise constantly.

Bed sheets had make up stains , food stains (ketchup like they didn't change bedsheets at all), elevator made terrible noises I was afraid it will stop working, bad smell in the room (weed), don't let me start with the AC!!! Door to our room was jammed!!! Hard to lock. Would not ever stay with super 8 again or any other super 8. Price was too expensive for a bad hotel too! For a 1 night!!!

Will not stay here again. Beds were hard and had no comforter just a thin sheet and rough blanket, no hot water, noisy, breakfast was sparse. No fruit, muffins , etc that I’ve had at continental breakfast in any other hotel I’ve stayed in. No do not disturb sign for door. The super 8 in Brenham we stayed in was great but not this one.

Roaches in room. Also elevator dropped about 3 foot slammed brake on back still hurts from being jared. people were stuck in elevator after told them it dropped they had no room keys had be walked to room open door could not leave together cause no key just a horrible place

If you left you could not come back in between 12 am and 7am. The room needed work the doors was broken in the suite . the bedding was torn and stained. On all the beds. The motel rooms and building is very hot. Everything was unplugged and the roomsmelled dirty and moldy.

Worse the air on unit would have fallen out of the wall if it weren’t for a piece of broken up plasterboard holding it up. Light shades were dirty The floors sticky and dirty. Avoid at all costs. Only saving grace the staff are doing their best I guess in an appalling working environment.

I love staying at this hotel. They have security unit at the desk you cannot get in without showing an ID and being looked at so if you're experiencing anything in your life where you need security or safety in your world, this is the place for you to be. The staff here is caring and loving and the waffles at breakfast are unreal!!! I love this hotel because of the way that I feel I am treated here. When I go to some very fancy hotels I'm often stared at crazy because I have a lot of tattoos and I'm a pretty boisterous person. Over here they embrace my qualms and encourage me to continue forward....thank God for super 8 Austin North....

I loved the waffles, staff is always friendly and kind ...clean place....safe place. They lock doors at a certain time and you have to check in at that point to come in the bldg....so, areaay be questionable but it's actually very much a safe spot.

I loved the hotel. I love the waffles at breakfast and I love the staff friendly, accommodating, and kind. I love Susan at night because she is always available to help at night if anything is needed.

You get what you pay for! Overall, extremely kind & competent staff. The breakfast is nothing to write home about. Usual number of loud idiots (the majority of whom are present first thing in the morning in the lobby- all construction guys in bright shirts but fortunately they're gone by 730am). I had to switch rooms a few times but ultimately got one without issues...it's a cheap decent option IMO

Majority of staff are very accommodating. Pool is diligently cleaned daily. One downside - the property is directly on a busy highway without much nearby.

Checking in wasn’t great a first but afterwards they were kind and helpful. Room was amazing, we wasn’t expecting such a beautiful room and view. Parking wasn’t great, there wasn’t enough parking and everyone was parking crazy my car got hit. Breakfast could of been a little better but overall 8/10 would definitely come back.

The room was not very clean and felt very dark. The AC wasn't working properly for a while so it felt very humid. There was a light bulb missing from a lamp. There was also a dirty napkin left on the floor from the previous people.

This was a terrifying nights of staying there there’s a army of bedbugs in the Roos I got all bit up by bedbugs here are the evidence Of it I Will never ever stay at that place again

The advertised room extremely failed in comparison to what was received. Room 412 should be taken out of service until it is renovated to a room that a customer can feel comfortable in. This room was nothing like the room advertised, I should receive a complete refund.

We arrived through a sketchy neighborhood and there was a car right outside the hotel that had been run into a telephone pole, a door was left open and no one appeared to be in it (think Grand Theft Auto in real life). The lady at the counter was so rude and that is being kind. She knew i was old and had trouble walking and she made everything as difficult as possible and we were put in a room that was about as far from the elevator as you could get. The room was absolutely subpar. The heat/air unit had a 6 inch burn spot on it (very scary). The bathtub had been patched. The toilet ran CONSTANTLY. The bed was made incorrectly with the bedspread under the flat sheet. We immediately had to remake both beds...a picture is worth a thousand words. I have pics but apparently there is no place to podt them.

Our stay was excellent.

Continental breakfast had 4 cups of yogurt, dry ceral and waffle mix..plus dispenser w/juices and coffee. Very disappointing when told it would be a Continental Breakfast. Only 1 elevator was working. only bed, 2 hard chairs for table in room...no where else to sit Why charge $50 deposit? I did get it back, but I've never had a hotel charge a deposit! Also...bedding....the blanket was UNDER the sheet. No bedspread/coverlet. ?????? Bathtub was stained, had fingernail polish on it. Paint and grouting for bathtub was VERY SLOPPILY DONE!

Was clean and comfortable room, very good size fridge though the freezer box in it was so iced up you couldn't shut it making it useless, never tested TV but it was a good size, water was always hot, breakfast was a make your own waffles with very limited seating so it was impossible to do so we never bothered, didn't try the pool so can't comment, so noisy and hard to sleep at night if you're on the side of the interstate road, staff aren't massively friendly or hugely clear about things, ice machine never worked for our whole stay not that we had anything to carry the ice to our room in, our room was never cleaned or tidied and our towels were never replaced until we left, $50 deposit demanded upon check-in even though the room was prepaid in full I didn't know this was needed till I checked in and had to wait for someone to inspect the room before we could have that deposit back when we checked out, make sure you have the correct zip code when locating the building as there are 4 Super 8s in the Austin area

But my biggest complain are the beds, the beds on my room were the most uncomfortable beds I've ever experienced in my life, you can feel the metal springs with your fingertips, squeaking every time you turn on it, my back is still sore, these beds are an absolute nightmare.

On returning back on the first day only one bed had been made up which was really odd. If more attention was made to the up keep of the rooms I would have scored it higher but it just gave the appearance of that they couldn't careless about the maintenance side of it. Every evening the hotel car park was filled up with small trucks and many handymen returning from their assignments. They hung out in the car park in small groups and in the public areas and I wasn't sure if it was safe or not. In the morning not only was the car park emptied again but breakfast was meagre pickings. Location was ok as a base to be in and out of the city but if you are new to the area the road system takes a bit of getting used to.

No safety box in room

Came down for a funeral, when I first arrived I noticed a busted window in one of the rooms on the second floor. Didn’t feel to comfortable about that. Once in the room, couldn’t locate the remote & was told by the night shift they couldn’t do anything about it & it wasn’t their problem. I paid close to 400 for 2 nights & I got to sit in a room looking at the walls. Needless to say, I won’t be stay at this hotel ever again.

Upon arriving to my room, my girlfriend and I were shocked, as there was chips all over the bed, the bed wasn't also made, and overall just a dirty room. We decided to go to the front desk where they were able to process a refund.

I arrived and checked in. I did not know this hotel was extremely old looking for its price point. Room only had one small towel so i had to go down for others. There was a weird smell to it. Toilet was loose when sat on it. Mildew around toilet. There was a cigarette burn on my blanket. Bed was lumpy and pillow was hard. And found a used broken glass CRACK PIPE behand the window curtain.

Got the suite, and upon entering it had a smell of mold. Couldnt find any and just assumed it was because of being damp. Took a shower and, after walking barefoot across the floor in the room itself, almost had to take another shower because the floor had turned the bottoms of my feet black. Later, when i needed to use the mini fridge for leftovers, i opened it to find it full of food only god would know how old. It appears to be an extended stay location, which isnt bad, but it felt like the location was being over run by anyone with a small amount of money. When i went to check out, the desk person was arguing with a guest they had to kick out because of smelling like weed. If youre in a bind, its fine, ive been in worse hotels, but if money isnt a thing, then go to one closer to downtown, youd be better off.

First room smelled like pickles. Second room was nasty, mini-fridge was dirty, microwave was dirty and black on the inside, and there was a pair of dirty underwear left behind. No toilet paper, towels were paper thin, no wash cloths. Breakfast was disgusting and unsanitary.

There was no ice bucket in the hotel room. The door to the outside was hard to close. The breakfast buffet had next to no food available. However, the room was very clean and very quiet. I slept well and all night.

Terrible, fuzzy blanket between the sheets. No chair or anything to sit on except the bed. TV going on and off. Could not leave upon checking out for 40 minutes ,because a car was parked behind my truck, driver wouldn't answer phone or door. Had to get person parked next to me to move his car so that I could get out. Will never forget or stay at this facility ever.

Considering the price in the location of the room. We were not expecting it to be all that great but it was a little under the standards based on the pictures and the other reviews that we seen beforehand. It could use a good cleaning and update, overall you get what you pay for!

The room was not somewhere we felt comfortable staying at

The room did not have any wall coverings on the outlets. The fan in the restroom was broken and would not turn off. Had to close the door just to try and block some of the noise out. The main complaint... roaches everywhere!!!! This is by far the worst hotel I've ever been to

As soon as we checked in, there were no room cards so we had to always have one person in room as to not lock ourselves out. The TVs in the room do not work. There are roaches everywhere. This room had pocket doors that wouldnt open or close, they were stuck. There was no toilet paper in the room. When we went down for breakfast the next morning, they ran out of coffee. I tried asking the front desk lady if the coffee could get refilled, her response was " I dont know, do i look like i work that side of the hotel" just terrible experience.

This was not a great experience. There was roaches and holes in the doors. When we pulled up there was people that had windows open throughout the building.
