feels like home, very comfortable

The place is slam worn out. I have stayed there 6-8 times over the past few years. This is the worst I have ever seen it. I understand under new ownership. Hope they didn’t pay much. I wish them luck but I won’t be going back.

The breakfasts were great and the staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. This was our second stay at this hotel and if we come back to Austin, I'm sure we will choose it again.

Clean room and bed ,front office clerk was really the only one I had interaction with. Breakfast was magnificent. I’d definitely recommend and book again in the future.

Bad
- 4/5
Breakfast was okay, bacon and scramble eggs were good. coffee was good and hot The room was a little smaller than the ones I've stayed at in El Paso Texas. But we made it work okay. There needs to be a couple more trash cans outside at the back. Also, it would be nice if the motel could furnish outside doggy bags for picking up their poop. We had ours that we take with us.

Super friendly staff. Pool out of service. Gym is cool. I’ll come back.
- 3/5
While we waited, we noticed the lobby looked somewhat dated, and the pool didn't appear to be very clean. Once we were able to check in, the room itself was decent but showed signs of wear. The bed was comfortable, but the pull-out sofa was unusable because you could feel the springs through the mattress. Noise was also an issue. We could hear people walking heavily in the room above us throughout the night, as well as music coming from the nearby restaurant and parking lot. Overall, we only needed a place to sleep for one night, and for the price, it served its purpose. If you're looking for an inexpensive overnight stay, it's adequate, but don't expect a particularly updated or quiet experience.

Really didnt like much. Breakfast was ok. Location was good. This was a last minute booking and didnt check much into the reviews and details. What I didn’t like about the hotel was the service and attitude I got from TRE I was not aware that I needed to register my puppy at hotel. I always take my puppy with me everywhere and never have I had to register and signed forms. I was out to dinner with my family and I get a call from TRE that there was complains of my puppy barking. Every dog barks when they hear noises. Anyways. I had to leave my family dinner because TRE insisted that I had to go back to hotel and fill out registration forms and pay. Don’t understand why I had to leave if she had already charged me 250 dollars instead of the 75 dollars for dog fee. This is ridiculous a 250 dollar charge for not reporting I had a pet with me. This is the first time I pay that much. Other places I only pay from 30-35 dollars per stay. Definitely was NOT satisfied with the service there.

Our room was clean and quiet. I actually thought we were the only people in the hotel until the next morning when we went downstairs for breakfast. Breakfast was also good. They kept running out of certain items but refilled pretty quickly.
- 3/5
Ok
- 2/5
My room was decent. I will say there was a lingering smell of what I would describe as wet towels. But the part I had trouble with throughout my stay was that the A/C compressor was directly in the bedroom. I could hear it loud and clear every time it went off. Also, I got charged a 50.00$ fee (initially) that they said was standard. I haven't received my refund yet.

Friendly receptionist with the offering of water and snacks. The facility is clean and the parking is free.

Stayed Friday to Sunday, told front desk Saturday hey our microwave does not work. Issue was not resolved. When checking out I brought it up and the lady avoided my concern by asking do you want your receipt. Elevator smelled so bad including the hallways like paint and chemicals. Not going there again for what I was charged.
- 5/5
Clean and friendly staff. The free breakfast was a nice touch.
- 2/5
Over all an average experience
- 5/5
Our room.was very clean and spacious!
- 3/5
It was ok, the lady at the front desk couldn’t answer any of my questions. She told me she doesn’t live in Austin. Didn’t tell me about the $7 parking. I found out the next day when I checked out. I am disable and parked in handicap space but didn’t know about the charge till next morning.

Hotel staff was nice and understanding but don’t make this mistake. Seems like a party hotel.
- 3/5
Not a bad hotel and not a bad stay. I had a suit but I do wish the doors from each rooms can be completely closed. Got to have my privacy. Room was kept cool but would like to see an upgraded ventilation or ac. I paid a great price and I was ok 👍.

I would love to give a better review, but the office was not helpful, nor have they been responsive since. I booked a 2 night stay and tried to change it via the instructions from the hotel, but never received a response. When I showed up for my 2 night stay (as per my confirmation) the hotel had changed it to the one night stay without informing me or Expedia. I had to find another hotel, since they were fully booked for the night. For my trouble, Expedia was willing to pay for the night at another hotel, and then I was supposed to repack everything and move to the Staybridge. I informed Expedia that I would not have time (nor the inclination) to change hotels after one night. They advised me to stay at the new hotel and they would work to get me a refund if Staybridge charged me for the room that I was supposed to stay in. Of course, they charged me (it was pay at the hotel, not in advance.) I called Expedia and they have been working to get my refund, but have been unable to reach anyone with the power to do so. I tried calling as well and was told that I’d have to call back. I was also told by the staff that I “shouldn’t use these 3rd party booking sites because ‘things like this happen.” I think I’ll just stop staying at Staybridge Suites instead.
- 5/5
Best breakfast ever Very courteous & helpful staff Well stocked kitchen with all necessary essentials Staybridges my one & only new place to stay whenever I travel.
- 4/5
Breakfast was great.
- 5/5
We arrived late and staff was helpful and welcoming.
- 5/5
We had a wonderful stay! Devine at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We will most certainly be staying here again!!
- 3/5
When I arrive to our room it was stuffy and warm. No staff at the front desk when I arrived. Food was good.
- 1/5
This was a terrible experience an glass door fell on my daughter the first day of my stay and they did nothing they didn’t even clean up the glass until the next day afternoon they mad us stay in the room with no accommodation for the incident they are even trying not to give me a refund
- 5/5
Check in was 1.5 hrs behind we waited the whole time, kept saying x amount of minutes or else we would have just came back, but they conped parking. Clean and good location
- 5/5
The room was clean and the staff was nice
- 3/5
Breakfast ok. Requested gluten free and staff provided muffins. Asked to check in early and to leave after 12 pm checkout. Both refused. Stayed her one year ago with family for several days and staff were very attentive and couldn’t do enough. Not so much this year. I do, however, love the large roomy suites.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel. Highly recommended. Worth the trip
- 4/5
The breakfast was outstanding, and evening social was nice.
- 5/5
👍
- 4/5
In guest room (wobbly), walls in guest room was patched poorly, etc… I would stay again for a quick budget overnight stay. If I’m in town for a few days, I would spend an extra $100 per night for a better maintained building.
- 4/5
Didn’t have pets
- 5/5
Everything was great... we will definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Room was clean and nice. Not enough towels though. The pool could use a little more cleaning. The elevator could use some love.
- 5/5
Goood
- 4/5
Very pet friendly! Nice big rooms with full kitchens ~ will definitely stay there again!
- 5/5
Good
- 3/5
The elevator needed to be cleaned as well. There was dirt all over the floor. I’ll likely not stay here again
- 4/5
This is our 2nd stay at this hotel. The room was very spacious and clean. They had 2 elevators. Only 1 was working. The working elevator had a TERRIBLE chemical smell. We had to hold our breaths every time we were in it. I checked in around 930 pm. I waited about 10 mins before someone came to the desk. They did have a sign saying they would be back, that they were helping a guest. A lady on the phone finally came from outside and checked me in. The breakfast was not good at all. TheOverall our stay was good. If they would fix the elevator smell, we would definitely stay there again.
- 5/5
The staff were friendly and helpful whenever I had a question, and check-in and check-out were smooth and easy. The amenities and services were all reliable and worked just as they should, which made the whole experience stress-free. Sometimes the best thing about a hotel stay is when everything simply works the way it’s supposed to, and that was definitely the case here. It was a comfortable, dependable place to stay, and I would gladly book here again on a future trip.
- 3/5
Thr room was clean but the bathroom floor was sticky and the tiles were loose. Thr bed was at least very comfortable. The hotel is in the same parking lot as Buffalo Wild Wings and parking in the front is limited. The parking lot on the side had very poor lighting and as a woman traveling by myself I did not feel comfortable parking there
- 3/5
It was an o.k. place to stay. Cons: there was a smell of burnt plastic in the elevator. There was no room cleaning on the weekend. We had to exchange our towels at the front desk.
- 3/5
I booked this hotel near the airport because I need to get to there to rent a car, on check in I was told the shuttle didn't run on the weekend! I had to pay for a Lyft. I also wanted a pool and though I did get to swim once it was very cold and dirty. My room was fine and the staff tried to be helpful.
- 5/5
Could use a bench or few chairs out front while waiting on ride shares
- 4/5
Airport shuttle only operates from Mon-Fri 8:00-3:30 which wasn’t specified on Orbitz when they listed shuttle available
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel
- 3/5
I booked this suite for my family and I while in town for a medical procedure. Lisa the manager was very rude and spoke to me as if I was beneath her.
- 2/5
It seemed ok, my daughter had gotten there first to check in, until I arrived. We were on the second floor and the elevator was out. When asked, the clerk said they had a call in to get it fixed ASAP. The next day, I had surgery and returned to the hotel after 4pm; elevator not repaired. I did ask that they give me two first floor rooms (I had book a two bedroom suite)as close to each other; they did. That was okay, but my family had to tote all of our gear up and down two flights of stairs. On Friday morning, when we went down to have a much awaited for breakfast, there were no eggs or bacon. The clerk said the truck didn’t show up. I used to work in the hospitality industry. I know there’s a petty cash fund. An employee could have gone to a reputable grocery and purchased eggs and bacon. I am hoping this helps with your training.
- 5/5
Outstanding service, AMAZING breakfast!! And clean spacious rooms with all the amenties of a 4-5star hotel 😏 Book it.
- 1/5
They charge for parking lot
- 5/5
Everything was great!
- 5/5
We had a great assist checking in by a very polite hostess. Our room wasn't quite ready so she found us an upgrade and put us there. The additional space was great; not necessary but still appreciated and the suite was immaculate. Nice people and a nice room. Was a good evening :)
- 4/5
Size of the suite was good. Breakfast better than other hotels.
- 2/5
The rooms were okay but the customer service from the front desk was terrible. The check in lady was very rude and terse.. there was no hello how are you today, no thank you, no your welcomes just blank states and straight to the pint answers. Checking out today was even worse. A gentlemen at the front desk said hello with a mail and the same women from check in just said you can drop keys there in box. I said is that it? As i usually give the keys to the person at the desk and get asked questions like how the day was.. all this lady said was yup.. and i walked away and she said no thank you, no you're welcome, didn't ask about the stay. The customer service is terrible. Have someone at the front desk that is excited to be at work and can at least make the customers feel welcome and noticed. Especially working at the front desk you are the fave of the hotel. Horrible experience
- 3/5
Breakfast was great! The pet fee of $75 was excessive, the highest I’ve ever paid. If we had known prior to arrival, we would’ve made different arrangements. Room was clean, staff were helpful, location was well lit and quiet.
- 4/5
Staff was very nice and room was clean. The Social at the evening was fun me and my wife enjoyed it.
- 5/5
Oh my God, the ladies at the front desk were really phenomenal. They were accommodating really really nice. They answered my calls. They were so friendly and the gentleman. I believe he’s the maintenance guy/shuttle driver, sweet as pie very pleasant. I’m just great the breakfast that they offer is so so good I think honestly those are the best biscuits I’ve had in my life so I traveled from Pennsylvania to Austin Taxes. I’ve never been to Texas before but I had a great time. Thank you. Highly recommend this Place.
- 4/5
The front desk and housekeeping staff were friendly and efficient. The room was clean. I have stayed in this location about once a year for several years. I have reduced my rating to 4 stars because the hotel is becoming a little run down. Tattered furniture and well-worn paint. I hope the building will be getting a well-deserved refresh soon.
- 1/5
Restroom in hotel room was dirty! Carpet had balls of hair. I have been staying at this hotel for years and this was the WORSE I HAVE SEEN IT IN!!! this hotel cleaning staff needs to REALLY IMPROVE!!!

Excellent stay. Devine was professional al and fantastic
- 5/5
Room was very comfortable, breakfas was great and fresh. The staff was great. My family took the shuttle twice and the driver, Raymond, was just awesome and extremely friendly. Loved this stay.
- 5/5
Nice hotel. Friendly staff and the shuttle to and from the airport and local areas are a plus.
- 5/5
I had a wonderful stay here. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. It felt safe. The breakfast had a good variety of choices daily. Lots of space to get all my walking in. Several restaurants within walking distance and movie theatre. It is a haul from downtown and the Lift, Uber etc. directions to their drivers always bypassed the hotel so when I called for a car I had to make sure to stand outside by the Staybridge sign. I used their airport shuttle which was very convenient.
- 1/5
We got a suite and were greeted by cockroaches upon arriving back to the hotel one night. It was very inconvenient to change rooms at 2 am. Our group ended up being split into different rooms and after showering a HUGE spider surprised my friend that she had to dry herself with a washcloth and ended up leaving to a different hotel that evening. Because we booked through a hotels.com the hotel refused to give us any kind of refund. The staff was nice and understanding but there is just no excuse specially when we paid a little under $1000 for our stay! Will not stay here again!
- 1/5
Very bad smell in the rooms and in the elevator, ac running none stop and super noisy. Ants everywhere in the kitchen
- 4/5
Clean room, good breakfast
- 4/5
Great room. Everything was great except the elevator which stank of something and the stairwells were hot and stuffy. No pleasant way of getting to the 4th floor, and we came in and out several times.
- 2/5
When we got there went to room it was late went to take shower the glass door would come open when in the shower tried to push down and glass fell off thing and was smashing my hand was trying to hold to up so it didn’t fall and break on me husband came in bathroom and got door from falling in me hurt my hand
- 4/5
Smoke alarm went off every night during our stat
- 5/5
The staff was very kind and helpful. Everything was clean, the breakfast was great, the price was excellent, and the shuttle to the airport was really the icing on the cake!
- 5/5
Location and price
- 3/5
We heard a lot of noise, at first we thought it was when we flushed the toilet, then we heard a lot of noise again and again and we didn't know if it was because of the water or the refrigerator.
- 2/5
The air condition did not work properly. We complained every night we were there three nights they ended up giving us box fans.
- 2/5
Dirty carpets, bad-smelling room
- 5/5
Will be my first choice on our next stay in Austin
- 5/5
Our stay was amazing and we were able to get quality rest!
- 5/5
The receptionist recommended an amazing food spot!!! She was warm and welcoming absolutely will.stay again
- 5/5
It was nice and clean and big in the middle of Austin. I was only there for the night but it makes me want to book there again when I have more time.
- 5/5
Enjoyed the size of the room for a reasonable price. Staff was always very helpful when we needed something.
- 1/5
The front desk lady was so rude and disrespectful we ended up not staying there
- 4/5
Most of the staff were fine. Seems short staffed. One very rude. Raymond awesome. The room has some disrepair. Need foam option for pillows. Amazing water pressure. Overall, a satisfactory stay. THE AREA BEHIND THE BACK PARKING LOT LOOKS LIKE A DUMPSTER WAS EMPTIED THERE. LOTS OF LITTER.
