Clean room, ample space and decent breakfast

They have nice amenities but the room felt damp. The bathroom is large but they have no counter space at all. The bed and bedding were excellent. Lots of space. Waffles were great.

Disappointing

Rooms are clean and very spacious. Breakfast was a mad house we skipped it all together. I am not going to fight anyone for free breakfast. There needs to be better order or staff to help serve the food or maybe longer hours so 8-9 isn’t a mad house.

Luckily I brought spray and freshened up the room Other then the smell. Room was ok. Oh. The couch looked like it been road hard. I wouldn’t sit there

The room was nice and clean. My son got bit by several ants in the parking lot next to where I parked my car. I would say it was at least 30-50 bites and the ants got into my car.

Smelly, old, dirty, tiny room not a suit size, tiny beds full beds. Carpets old, dirty and smelly. Sofa bed is only wires so hard and uncomfortable. Has to flush so many times the toilet. Even the windows drape’s were dirty and stain. The whole hotel room’s hallway is so old and poor maintained. Worst Springhill i have been.

Nothing! When I questioned charges the Desk clerk turned and said Your going to have to leave for putting your fist in My face !!! It never happened !!!! They called police to remove US , then they changed story too , I was screaming at them and swearing Police asked to see video and they wouldn't show them ! Because It didn't happen ! Fact is the female desk clerk was pregnant and had a bad attitude ! I am 63 yrs old my husband handicapped 68 yr old Why would I even try to punch someone ! We were put out in degree heat and no where to go

The stay Springfield is always a great place. Great location, South of ATX. Starting with Front Desk, and Housekeeper, Maintenence team. Make us keep coming back.

The carpet needs to be re done or cleaned, bring flip flops. Otherwise, good place for quick crash.

The room had a smell. The AC wasn’t cool it was more like a room temperature with humidity. The pillows don’t hold their shape at all. It was ok for a 1 time stay.

The location was great. The website didnt say anything about there being a $75 pet fee. Had i known that, i wouldnt have booked here being that the cost for pet fee was over half the cost of the room stay.

Clean, staff Toilet leaked at base, toilet filled extremely slow, and please supply shower mats, tub is extremely slippery when wet, almost fell my first night, could be a liability. I am in multi family maintenance and I see these issues easily.

2. As soon as we entered our room it smelled musky 3. Our air conditioner did not work 4. Instead of just changing our room a tech was sent over to try to fix the a/c 5. After 30 minutes of him being there he said I’m we needed to change rooms 6. Over an hour after check in we had to swap rooms Overall terrible experience I’ll never stay there agsin

Perfectly average adequate hotel by the side of a freeway - but be aware that for some reason they charge 10.83 for parking. Not sure why, as parking would be free at any other hotel like this out on the edge of town. It is mentioned in the detail info about the hotel - but only if you look (it is not on the main page). In effect they are adding $10+ to the room rate, so just be aware of that when booking.

Room was clean, staff was helpful and friendly. The only reason we rate this a 4/5 is because we traveled with 5 people and the pull out sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable.

As someone who has a toddler and is currently pregnant,This hotel was so comfortable and the indoor pool was great .I didn’t get sunburned or needed to be out in the sun . The breakfast included has a lot of variety breakfast it was really good!

I had a pretty good stay here. Clean room was close to the elevator which was convenient. Helpful nice staff. Good breakfast! I would recommend!

The juice from the juice dispenser at breakfast were lukewarm, and we didn't appreciate that. If your hair is long, you may want bring own hair products. Somehow, the ones provided by the hotel did go well with our hairs. I'm not sure if it's mentioned on Expedia, the hotels by Mariot has policy for minimum checking in age at 21.

Hotel was hot... room just felt humid. Not what I expected for a Marriott hotel. Kind of old and run down...more like a nice 2 star hotel....def not a 3 or 4 star. Walls had been patched up...not very well, mold in shower, phones in room didn't work...they were super old. 10 for parking ... generally only hotels downtown in the city require you to pay for parking, I'm used to paying for parking when parking is limited but not when there's a full parking lot in the hotel charges just to charge. Oh and I bought a water and it was like $5 which was kind of ridiculous for a plain Aquafina water. Moral of the story it was a lower quality hotel but charged like a higher end Marriott. One thing I can say is that the staff there was amazing super friendly

Great safe stay and good breakfast

The rooms could’ve been cleaner, I deep check everyone I stay in, since I have been in the industry before I look everywhere in that room. I usually find things or places that should be cleaner. I did find a couple spots that should’ve been cleaner and I talked to the front desk staff about it in the morning when I was checking out and they we’re going to let the property manager, Maintenance, and housekeeping I did have a leak in the middle of the night that got the bathroom floor all wet coming from the ceiling. Since the bathrooms are probably stacked on top of each other on every floor. There is a leak in the bathroom above that was leaking down into my bathroom. That was also addressed at checkout. Otherwise, the breakfast was good and the rest of the hotel looked good. A few in the carpeting down the hallways had some tears. For an older Marriott property it is still a nice property to stay at. 12-15 minutes from downtown. The frontage road can be quite busy and takes a while to get out sometimes. The back entrance is easier and it takes a few minutes longer, but it is safer since they drive extremely fast on the frontage road.

Breakfast was good and hot. Plenty of coffee available. Premises were clean and cares for. Staff friendly and helpful. House cleaning was lacking. Had to go to front ourselves twice for fresh towels. We stayed three days and had to go to front desk and ask about maid service.

checked in at 9pm, got to room and the TV didn't work. Called down and was placed on hold for 30 minutes. Then disconnected. Then they refused to answer the phone so I tried again an hour later. They told me someone would come up to fix it. Nobody ever came

Shower was not cleaned when I arrived. As well as the tv nor the room phone were working. Instead of putting me in a different room, a work order for maintenance was put in and maintenance showed up late around 10pm when I was already in bed. I originally booked my trim for a week stay and paid over $600 for the week and ended up checking out on the second day and this property declined my refund for the remaining days not used as well as tried to charge me an additional $120 early check out fee. I have never had a bad experience with Marriott hotels except this specific location and will be sure to never return there again for another stay.

First room had a tv that would not turn on. Moved rooms. The tv worked but the microwave did not. By that point, I gave up. Property not owned by Marriott, so that should give you an idea.

Breakfast was good, they had variety to choose from and it was fresh. The heater was not that great, the fan was making a lot of noise and did not stop all night long even after setting desired temp.

The hotel is fine. The staff is great, well trained and could not be better. The only hiccup was the indoor pool. It was uncomfortably cool. When we asked if they could possibly put the heater on, they did, but it was still quite cold.

This hotel has a big parking lot, the staff is polite and knowledgeable. Breakfast is abundant and varied, hot and cold. Rooms are divided into a seating area and a bedroom. Every room has a microwave, a fridge and a coffee machine. The building has 2 elevators, a covered swimming pool and a gym room.

This was a good hotel. It had a good but busy breakfast area. We got a bill for parking, but it looked like they wrote off the fee. It would have been over $20. You may want to make sure if they charge for parking or not before you stay here. There is only one restaurant in the neighboring Marriott hotel. You will need to drive a little to find places to eat.

The front desk staff were extremely helpful to me. They very pleasantly assisted me with your computer and printing process. They even scanned and emailed one of my very important documents to me that I was required to upload. If your front desk staff didn't help me, I would have needed to leave, find a business center and jump through many hoops. I appreciated their willingness to help me.

Trying to cancel my reservation with Expedia, which there’s no number contact so I could talk to customer service due to the hotel as well. They say they management would not be able to cancel.

This hotel is nice enough and is clean. Everytime I've stayed there, I get a room with a toilet that barely flushes. It happened again on this last stay. The room is always clean and the AC works great. The bed in my room this time was not comfortable. I think a new mattress is needed!

When we arrived the first room they gave us the key would not work propwrly. Went down stairs and they gave us another room in a higher floor and i asked for a disability room with shower did not get it either. The beds are to small and very uncomfortable. There pool was supposedly being clean both days we were there so we did not get to use pool.We were sent to another hotel next door to use.
