We have stayed here several times. We particularly like the shaded pool area and 3 grills with outdoor tables. The room we were in this trip seems to have been renovated since our last visit. The breakfast is typical of most hotels, but did have fresh fruit salad. My one complaint was that since they have coffee available in the rooms, they don't have coffee available all morning in the lobby area. The room coffee isn't always the best tasting. But this is our go-to hotel in the north Austin area.

Clean, safe, convenient. Cold AC. Hot water. Good linens. Walkable to several restaurants, grocery and Target.

I loved the breakfast. Could use different options, but the staff always does such a great job keeping everything fresh and looking great. No words here!

Great set up for a relaxing stay. Very quiet.
- 4/5
The room was mostly clean, but an old coffee filter was left in the coffee maker. The shower also did not work very well and was hard to turn on.
- 5/5
Room was cleaned so well each day. Very remarkable
- 5/5
We booked a king suite room and it was very nice, spacious and beautiful. Parking was easy. Breakfast was warm and very good. The area is perfect, very close to Costco and Target. The only complaint we have is the bed is so high and being a short person, it really makes it difficult for me to go in and out the bed easily. Aside from that, everything is just wonderful. We will definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
I loved everything about this property. It was immaculate. The staff, especially Sam at the front desk, were kind and helpful. Especially for the price, this was an amazing stay all around. I loved everything, I have zero complaints.

Loved how the room was felt like my own little apartment and the pool was lovely. Needs more of the doggy bags around the property

Elevator was broken the whole time we were there had to climb stairs with an Austisic toddler every day.The first room they gave us had bed bugs. It was horrible.

It was the best we have stayed at. We definitely will be back! Everything was perfectly

If staying on 2 floor, tough to manage if staying on 3rd+ floor, impossible to use. for someone elderly, it is impossible to go up/down. the elevator was out for 30 days when I checked in, and should have told us prior to booking.
- 5/5
Great place to go, clean, friendly staff. Just takes the worries off when you get there. Would stay again.

Hotel clean and everything functional except the elevator. Staff was helpful with the bus routes getting downtown. Busses went right by the hotel which was convenient. Nice area. Good breakfast.

Breakfast was convenient and good; suggestion would be to keep it open until 9:30 AM rather than 9:00 and have a bit more variety from day-to-day; front desk staff was very helpful and accommodating; room could use more frequent trash removal, but was otherwise OK; overall: it's no frills, but certainly "does the job" for a few days visit

Great stay and close by the Domain. Staff was great and loved having the extra space for our baby. The kitchenette area was very handy and we will return here when we visit Austin again.
- 4/5
Breakfast was terrible. There was little or nothing to choose from. The breakfast period was also short.
- 4/5
Location and cleanliness. The elevators were not working the whole weekend of our stay and that made it hard for us being on the 3rd floor.

One of the better stays I’ve had in recent years! I stayed for a 3 day conference and it was perfect for my needs. Kitchenette was darling and entering felt clean to me. The gym was great and laundry is an added bonus. The breakfast was fantastic in the morning.

Great location and well maintained, breakfast has variety of options

My stay was excellent ! I love the breakfast
- 5/5
Love this hotel. This is my second time staying here. The location is perfect. There are so many shops and restaurants around, and not too far from the hotel. The staff are all super friendly and welcoming. I love how spacious the rooms are. They provide plates, pots and utensils. Plus the complementary breakfast is delicious. Every time I come to Austin I’m always going to stay here.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel. Great location.
- 5/5
Friendly staff and breakfast was amazing.
- 5/5
Staff are so nice and accommodating. Always love staying at this property when visiting our daughter in Austin. Thank you!!
- 3/5
The staff here are very friendly and professional. Great people that make you feel welcome. My bed and bathroom were clean with no issues. However, the carpet in the room was very dirty. My socks literallly went from white to dirt as soon as I walked around. Note to owners, pay for carpet shampooing. Vacumes only help so much. It is time. Your employees are great. I am sure they would appreciate that too...
- 1/5
I’ve been there twice in 2 months and the elevator does not work
- 5/5
The staff was extremely helpful!
- 5/5
The staff were incredibly helpful, the majority of the hotel (room, common areas, outdoors) were clean or regularly tended to, and the suite was perfect & spacious for our family of three. Only downside was the elevator wasn’t working and we had luggage, but the staff made very agreeable efforts to mitigate that, including early check in and assistance carrying items to the room.
- 4/5
Easy m, good stay
- 4/5
Overall, good experience good price good place I would recommend and I would stay there again.
- 5/5
Breakfast was outstanding. Fresh fruit, hot food freshly made, delicious! I was impressed they welcomed pets in this beautiful place. Staff so professional and friendly!

I was moved to 3 different rooms in 3 days. 1st room - AC unit was so loud it sounded like a helicopter landing in my room. So we moved. 2nd room, came back from my daughters graduation and could not get in my room and we refused to go back down 4 flights of stairs bc the elevator was out, so maid let us in. I go to the bathroom to realize my entire shower was taken apart while we were gone and there was no water. Turns out they had to turn off the water due to a leak. Anyway I tried to call down to find out what was going on, only to realize the phone doesn’t work. Then they attempted to move me back in the room I originally left bc of the noise. So then we were moved to the 3rd room ALL THE WAY to the other end of the hall and so I had to repack everything AGAIN to move. Staff was nice enough, but there was no partial refund or anything given for any inconveniences.
- 5/5
Had a great stay at Sonesta. Staff were great. Only thing was the elevator was broken. Had to carry luggage up to 3rd floor
- 3/5
Clean and affordable.
- 1/5
Please steer clear of this property. You get what you pay for. No working elevator and rooms that were not tidy. Staff tried to be accommodating with a second room on the first level. Shower was still dirty with hair bands and hair. Tried to check out one hr later due to flight issues and mobility issues. They told me they had other guests checking in they needed to accommodate. Lastly, there were maintenance materials left in all around the hotel. The breakfast looked good and the coffee was good. The breakfast prep staff were very nice.
- 3/5
Stairs up to room. Also AC was cold but wouldn’t stay on long so room would get very Hot. Definitely take a fan if you get hot easily
- 3/5
Elevators not working, but room seemed very nice at first. I did find dirty underwear in the bathroom so I don’t think it was cleaned very well.
- 5/5
Spacious bright room with very comfortable bed fitted with crisp linens. Kitchen adequately fitted out and even with new soap and sponge. Seating areas and patio very pleasant with huge windows looking out to pool . Breakfast mostly not our taste but probably good for most. Have booked this hotel several times and probably will any time visiting Austin . Awesome location - very central yet set in the trees.
- 5/5
breakfast was definitely and asset

The stay was comfortable even with the elevator being broken. My only concern was the lighting in the back parking lot.

It was a quick overnight stay. The room was spacious and clean with everything needed. Only drawback was the elevator was out of service during my stay. Staff was friendly and responsive. Would stay again

Elevators dont work
- 2/5
When I arrived the staff was rude I was told 2 pm check in and was pushed back to 4pm which had my inconvenienced, the room was okay but there were bugs (roaches).
- 5/5
Everything was great minus the elevator being broken. The laundry facilities also didn’t work as needed clothes were soaking wet after wash & dryer took a few times do fully dry clothes.
- 5/5
We loved staying at the Sonesta. Friendly staff, excellent location and everything we needed in the room.
- 5/5

Clean room, very kind staff

Although the issue was resolved by front desk, its hard to not comment on it. Initially, we booked for a queen studio and were at first impressed with the hotel. Upon very little inspection, meaning- being more aware of surroundings- there were at minimum 5 dead roaches located throughout the room. Simply plain as day out in the open. Imagine the ones we would have found if we attempted to look for them. One near the stove, three spread across the floors, one located slightly under the bed, and one in the bathroom. The front desk upon notice did upgrade our room and offer a fresh pair of sheets as compensation. But the room differences were clear as day. The new room smelled more fresh, lacked roaches on genuine inspection, and for the most part was satisfactory. The previous roach room- did not smell as freshly cleaned. Definitely satisfied with staff, the elevator was out of service at the time- amenities looked well kept and breakfast was fairly good and offered variety each day.
- 4/5
I enjoyed my stay as the hotel was pet friendly and I had my Cavapoo with me. My only disappointment was the fact that the elevator was not working.
- 5/5
Room was nice, spacious and with good kitchen. Breakfast was good. Had variety, something for everyone.
- 3/5
First, the hotel does not provide cleaning service proactively. During my entire stay, I barely received any housekeeping service( I know they say will do it every 7 days , but still quite different from other ) The front desk staff were generally okay in terms of attitude. However, the noise level in the hotel was very poor. I could hear frequent dog barking from the hallway, which made it difficult to rest. Another unpleasant experience was that I was woken up by a phone call from the front desk in the afternoon. They told me that a guest downstairs had complained about noise, saying I was jumping in my room. In reality, I was asleep at that time. This suggests that the staff did not verify the situation themselves and simply relied on the complaint without checking. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel.

Nice room and area
- 5/5
Clean
- 5/5
Every thing was perfect just the elevator situation
- 4/5
Everything was good, the rooms are comfortable, and clean, the only thing is they should give 2 bottles of water as courtesy
- 4/5
Room was clean, staff was friendly. Elevator was not operational at the time of the stay. The breakfast was nice and had some variety. There is a pool, basketball court, and a rest area outside. Not too far from the Domain so lots of places to eat and shop. Outside paint needs a refresh and you have to pay to park there over night ($5).
- 3/5
The elevator was not working when I arrived. The front desk clerk did carry my luggage up to the third floor. All of the staff were friendly, but the gentleman working the breakfast area was the friendliest and always had smile on his face.
- 3/5
The room was amazing but the elevator did not work
- 5/5
Room was very clean, and staff was above and beyond at the front desk. They were able to accommodate a disabled person who could not climb stairs when their elevator was not working properly. Bed was SUPER comfy, and it was quiet

Room was good but TV would not connect and the elevator wasn't working. Not great when you book the guest on the top floor. Also noticed breakfast was still being served after 9 when previously stated it ends at 8:30. Left property for breakfast after 8:30 and found it was still being served when I returned. It was a selling point when I booked the reservation.

I do not recommend this hotel ! It might look nice but it’s so creepy. The front desk was not helpful at all. I ended up leaving to another hotel and did not get a refund.

Staff was very courteous, room was clean. A bit warm when I arrived, but it was pleasant the rest of my stay. Morning breakfast was great.

Nice breakfast!
- 5/5
Did not use free wifi. Brandon, who checked me in, was excellent.

Staff misrepresentation
- 4/5
Staff was courteous and room was clean and spacious. I wish the pillows didn't deflate so much under the weight of our heads; but most hotels are doing that these days. Breakfast offerings were only okay.
- 5/5
Great central location for our family trip
- 5/5
Clean, very comfortable room with all the space we needed for 5 people.
- 3/5
There was one day breakfast was canceled last minute. Very little effort was made to put our easily available food They could have just put out yogurt and bagels along with fruit, even if there were personnel issues. Breakfast could be served for a bit longer each day. Why did we have to play for parking? Otherwise it was ok.
- 3/5
We were told that there was breakfast in the morning from 6 to 9. Also the advertisement for y ou hotel indicated that there would be breakfast. When we went downstairs at 6 am there was no breakfast. Speaking to the hotel person, he said that because there was no working on Thanksgiving . Later in the morning, ppl were getting cereal because they complained. We had already gone to McDonalds.
- 3/5
We stayed for 8 nights and yet our room was not cleaned even once. When we asked, they sent somebody to pick up the trash, replace towels, and fix bed sheets. The dishwasher soap door doesn’t open. The room heating was malfunctioning and the technician made it better but not much. On thanksgiving day, they didn’t serve breakfast, without advance warning.

The Girls and guys working the front desk are the best They had helped us with all our needs. This location is the best for shopping eating and outdoor entertainment.
