Residence Inn by Marriott Austin Airport

I had some type of bugs in the bed in our room. We were able to switch though and that room was fine. It was to late to check out. It does have a weird smell their too.

The employees were all very nice. The breakfast was okay . Stayed for 9 nights, breakfast items never varied. Hotel needs to up some of the maintenance. Carpet outside room 402 needs to be replaced. Hornet nests underneath soffits under roof need to be eliminated - difficult to utilize pool when at least one dozen hornets coming down to pool to drink the water non stop. Craziest thing I ever saw in a hotel - lit basketball court outside first floor right next to building. There was a sign that stated no playing after 10 p.m.. On our first night a couple were outside at 1:00 a.m. playing basketball. Needless to say, we could not sleep. I went to the front desk, and an employee went to the court to tell them they had to leave. They did, but when I asked the employee why do you have the lights on all night if you can't play after 10:00 p.m., I was told they could not shut the lights off? We had our room changed the next day to the top floor, as far away as possible from the court.

I have stayed at Residence Inn numerous times in different cities. I was very pleased with your hotel In Austin. The rooms were very nice, enjoyed the fitness room and breakfast was really good. The one negative thing is when we got back from going out last nite...my girlfriend asked the front desk clerk "where is the bathroom" because she had to go and could not wait to use it in our room. Instead of being cordial and nice...she said "It's down the hall" in a bothered manner. Never had issues with your staff before but that is unacceptable how she said that.

The kitchen is great. Well equipped and supplied. Pet Friendly. The staff treated my Misty so well. Safe area to walk your dog. And above all, the friendly staff. They are so kind and helpful.

Overall was excellent

Room was nice but I feel that it was designed for a man. The mirrors were too far to see yourself based on the depth of the sink. Also trashcan was behind the door instead under the sink.

This was the best hotel I stayed in. I stayed in 4 for 2 1/2 months now. The room was large. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The amenities were great! Very dog friendly hotel. The staff were so friendly and always helpful

Excellent customer service from staff and professional. The room was super clean, the pool had so many leaves and other debris floating around.

This is my favorite hotel out of the 4 I’ve stayed at. The staff is incredible. So helpful and friendly. The room is large. Very nice if you have a dog like I do. There is a large space out back with benches to enjoy the weather. The kitchen is well supplied.

The room was large and situated nicely. The kitchen was adequately supplied with cookware and dinnerware. It is a pet friendly hotel. I was there with just myself and my dog. Misty was loved by the staff and other people staying there. I have switched hotels several times because they were lacking something. This hotel lacked nothing. I would highly recommend staying here.

This Marriot hotel is doing a great job putting customers first and making sure they feel very welcomed from the moment they step their feet in. Huge appreciation to the front desk associates, they all have been great on my multiple stays there.

Close to the airport and convenient

Suite was roomy, clean and provided everything I needed for my stay, plus a good breakfast!

Excellent hotel. Front desk was extremely helpful and polite. Breakfast was better than average for similar hotels. Room was spacious, quiet and clean. 10 min drive to downtown Austin and 5 min from the airport. I highly recommend this hotel!

Everything is good. Hard to interact with one of the front desk employee her name is Terry; she doesn’t want to help at all starting from no water bottle to dispense, doesn’t want to look at my reservation and answer my questions saying that I ca ask the following day when she leaves!

We absolutely loved this Residence Inn by Marriott Hotel. Clean, quiet, and beautiful landscaping alm the way around. We loved the outdoors by the pool just as much. Breakfast was great Quiche, eggs, sausages, potatoes, cereals, waffles, coffee, juices, & milkshake. A++ for your ratings we will diffently back.

Clean spacious accommodation

The room was clean. The refrigerator did not work. There was no coffee maker and the shower door wouldn’t close all the way.

We did not eat the breakfast but the coffee in the room was quite good

The room was okay. The room needed to be detailed along with the shower. The staff was very friendly once we checked in but check out was not the greatest. Seems like the front desk girl was training and her trainer was trying to tell her over the phone on facetime how to check us out and print a receipt which took almost 20 minutes. She was speaking to the front desk girl and us very rudely.

Everything was great the new receptionist was really helpful. She was very pleasant only new in the job the day we left but was excellent Breakfast was good for what we paid Unfortunately we had a very noisy neighbour in the room above. So so no sleep for 2 nights

We had a wonderful stay at the Marriott in Austin by the airport. The room/suite was clean and exceeded our expectations. Staff was kind and friendly. We even got free breakfast with our stay and we were really impressed by how delicious it was. We will book with this hotel again!!

I booked this hotel because they advertise a shuttle to the airport. They did not have a shuttle to the airport. I had to book and pay for an Uber ride.

The room was clean, quiet, and it was easy to get comfortable including using the thermostat and amenities (microwave, sink). I wanted to compliment the front desk staff, I can't remember their names but one (male) asked why I was visiting when I arrived, and he remembered what I said the next day and asked me which I thought was nice. I got a friendly "good morning" from the female at the front desk the day I was checking out, and she recommended I try the potatoes at breakfast (which were good).

The heating and air-conditioning unit did not appear to be functioning properly. They offered to change our room but would not move us along with our son to an adjoining room. No maintenance man on duty the entire weekend to assist us.

Staff was super. Sofa bed was broken but they replaced it. The motel needs to be remodeled. The carpet by the bathroom is torn.

Further from the airport than we had expected, 15min cab drive was $50 , cos we were too tired to sort out an uber . Similar journey into downtown Austin , cost $16 the next day with Uber !

I arrived at 12 AM so no shuttle! Uber much cheaper than taxi!!!!

I had my wallet stolen from the lobby when I went down to purchase some water bottles evening of 8/30/25 - did not know I had left wallet until early in 8/31/25 when a charge was made on my credit card for over $1,000 at Best Buy in cedar park. I went down to lobby and clerk did not know for sure the name of the person working the front desk the night before. I asked to review camera security footage from night before but he said only manager could do that and she was away on business. I left name and phone number. The next day when Si checked out I had to explain everything again to the front desk people and again asked for the manager to contact me. I have called several times since then and manager is never available, has never retuned my calls or email. Why no call from hotel ?

Made reservations for 2 rooms on line and they only had one room reserved. Had to show my email confirmation to verify that 2 rooms were booked.

Do not stay here as the front desk manager and general mgr are horrible and the parking lot is not under any type of cameras or security. Our truck window was busted out and the front desk mgr Yessica only told upon our return from vacation as a guest had reported it to them and even with me calling 3 x that day to confirm the shuttle times and location, she never once said anything about the truck even though she knew it was ours! WARNING UNSAFE place to stay

Stayed here before a flight out the next morning. Everything was great!

Common areas looked like they were falling apart: cracks in walls visible through the bubbling wallpaper, scuffed flooring in elevators, separation of walls-to-ceilings (and other walls).

Exceeded my expectations

Our stay was close for convenience since we set to fly out of Austin the next day. I after a long day, it wasn’t great to step into the shower and it was COLD! Room was clean. The noise level was pretty high they 9:00 - 12:00. Definitely need to do some renovating. breakfast was pretty decent the next morning.

Poor service at checkin

It was a good stay. The room was large, but was on the first floor where i could hear the upstairs people walking around in the middle of the night. It seemed like an older hotel even though there were updated amenities..

There was no shuttle bus available, and the receptionist was extremely rude and unprofessional.

The staff was attentive and friendly. We were disappointed the shuttle wasnt running. That was one of the reasons we chose the hotel.
