All staff was very nice and helpful. This hotel is so close to many downtown places. Rooms were clean. Getting to the WiFi was thought was not straight forward but staff helped me out. Definitely worth staying here.
- 5/5
It seems so mundane, but there was only one hook in the whole bathroom so I had to hang things over to Harrison beds and we need more hooks in the bathroom for sure

Great staff, clean rooms, hot water, fantastic location. I was extremely pleased with my stay!

Everything! The smell when you walk in the doors is amazing! The bartenders and restaurant staff are so sweet, shout out to Richard and Shane for taking care of us! The rooms and all facilities were so clean and cute! Loved everything

Beautiful The staff. The person at the front desk was rude. We have them a card on file but they charge a card I don’t even use now which is negative.
- 5/5
This place was perfect. Such a cute vibe. Staff were friendly and everything we needed was accessible.

It was nice building and amazing staff. Parking is high and alot of different fees.

The vibe was great! The hotel is unique and eclectic with the hint of vintage. We had a wonderful experience and definitely will be returning for the UT game. Parking but thats to be expected in downtown Austin. We truly had a wonderful experience not much to complain about.

I like the convenient location to the Moody Amphitheater. I love the swim club area, staff was very friendly and welcoming and the room was very comfortable. Our tub would not drain and the valet parking, it took a long time for them to bring our truck both times we requested it. On check out it never came and finally the guy noticed we were still there and finally went to get it.
- 2/5
Very expensive and the extra fees were quite annoying especially since its forced. Self parking fees were outrageous, and the room wasn’t clean it felt dirty. The late night staff weren’t welcoming or friendly and I felt very rushed during the check in process.
- 4/5
Clean, comfortable rooms. Fantastic gym. Very nice pool. No waiting for elevators. Quick/easy but expensive valet parking. Good coffee/service at Morningbird. All staff very friendly. Parking is very expensive but I knew that going in. A little bit of a walk to the downtown restaurants, but not bad. Servers at swim club were nice but disorganized.

The location was great. The location of the parking garage was connected to hotel it was great. The staff - needs training in customer service. One person profiled me according to where I come from (city). He said he could just tell and I had that vibe something about "where I came from" he could just tell. My response to him was " please don't say that". He proceeded to tell me he knows I am not use to paying for parking (because where I came from) but here in Austin we have to pay for parking!!! I was and still am very offended. Renaissance do better in training your employees. One more thing - the ice machine was locked on the floor I was staying at, never could get ice.

Such a fun hotel to stay at! Loved the decor and the restaurant/bar area downstairs was so cute and fun! Very clean hotel! There was also a steamer in the room which I very much appreciated!

I just can't say enough about this hotel! I am hoping nothing changes since it is now a Renaissance branded hotel...

Restaurant 2nd floor Excellent food and service: Brilliant: Richard, Jorge, Javier... FD Xverie... Nice pool and Lawn Gym Excellent 😊 Thanks
- 4/5
Really nice hotel, with restaurant on site, well equipped gym, but too much noise from the highway for me.
- 5/5
Great staff, easy check in and great room amenities!
- 5/5
Great hotel with a cool aesthetic
- 2/5
Staff was nice, but carpet was very dirty
- 4/5
For me, breakfast should be buffet style
- 4/5
Nice hotel. Our room was HOT. They gave us a box fan. I was compensated for the inconvenience. Staff was very nice and apologetic.
- 5/5
Amazing place second time staying there!
- 5/5
Paying for 1 day ends at about 11:00 am the next day even if you don’t pay for the parking into 8:30 pm. Seems like it should be 24 hours
- 5/5
Very cute hotel and very helpful staff
- 1/5
They refused us our breakfast and any other services

We booked a King bed corner room that had a nice view of the State Capital building and the hotel pool. The bed was very comfortable and the room was nicely appointed. We really liked the location of the hotel. Walkable to some great restaurants and music clubs. We also walked to Austin’s east side just a few blocks away and discovered an awesome vintage book store and some great dining options including Siti, a Michelin recognized restaurant where my wife and I had an amazing birthday night dinner experience. This was our first trip to Austin and we could not have had a better time. We will be back and definitely stay at The Renaissance Austin on 11th street.
- 5/5
My favorite hotel in Austin Texas! Close to 6th street. Has the coolest pool area. Restaurant food is 10/10, also staff is a big plus. The bar/restaurant staff especially are welcoming and attentive. Every time I come to visit Austin I will continue to stay here.
- 4/5
Would not recommend self parking.
- 5/5
Ok

I had a truly wonderful experience here! I really enjoyed it and can't wait to book again soon.

42 dollar fee for parking a day plus I have a sierra truck garage is so narrow it barely fits without almost crashing or having tire damage.Had to leave sierra along the wall on top floor there was no parking spots. Every ambulance every car racing down the road you can hear it beside room you can hear everyone next door and they where smoking Marijuana..
- 5/5
Very good I loved!!
- 5/5
Everything what great but that parking garage elevator should get checked out lolol
- 5/5
Samuel at the front desk was the man!! We were on a vacation in Austin, and asked him for food spots around town, the man does not miss!!
- 5/5
Front desk staff was very accommodating and helpful.
- 5/5
Very cute!
- 4/5
The suite was clean! Loved the views in the corner suite. The soaps available were high quality and towels were sufficient. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were a bit flat and not as comfortable as the bed. We were unable to connect to WiFi because it was difficult to connect unfortunately. Another thing was there weren’t any bellmen or carts available to help with luggage carrying. The staff was helpful with questions thankfully. The building overall is very aesthetically pleasing and well maintained. However, every single trash can was overflowing with trash and drinks surrounding them.
- 5/5
Great pool and coffee shop in the lobby! Fun and funny rooms.
- 5/5
Todo esta hermoso y funcional.
- 5/5
Fantastic location. Clean. Spacious. Toilet paper holder was broken tho. Didnt realize that breakfast was not free. Fitness center is efficient but no equipment wipes at the start of the day. Would appreciate some music in the fitness center too it was eerily quiet and awkward in there but it wasnt bad.
- 5/5
Absolutely a wonderful experience. Exceptional Hotel!
- 5/5
We had a really early flight in and requested an early check in (thinking they would let us check in around noon). We were able to check in at 8am!!!! This was amazing because we were running on 1 hour of sleep and needing to rest before our event that night. The staff were amazing, kind, and courteous. Food from The Terrace Bar and Grill was delicious! 10/10 experience and will use again in the future!!!!!
- 5/5
Very nice stay and a beautiful view from our room
- 5/5
The staff was so helpful and kind! We loved the pool and restaurants.
- 5/5
Fun hotel with a very nice pool. Fun colors great vibe good location.
- 4/5
Close enough to walk to Moody Center and restaurants
- 3/5
The bathroom wasn't thoroughly cleaned. There was hair on the floor in our bathroom.
- 4/5
A cute hotel, very clean, but it was pretty loud if you face the highway. Additionally, there were people talking loudly in the hallway all through the night. I think it’s more of a party hotel so folks are coming and going at all hours. If you’re looking for a relaxing stay with early nights and time by the pool, perhaps look elsewhere. Otherwise, a cute hotel, very clean, and a lovely little pool with umbrellas and fans making it a perfect afternoon spot! The coffee shop was also very good and had other amenities you might want through the day like snacks and drinks. The baristas were all very nice.
- 5/5
Pool service was excellent. The hotel looked just as advertised. The room could've been cleaner- the shower floor and sink were dirty. Overall the stay was great.

Great stay during the state track meet. Will definitely be returning!
- 5/5
And close to all the shops and restaurants Just a little noise over the highway but we are okay with it
- 4/5
Will definitely be back
- 4/5
Changed the thermostat to cool down the room, but it really felt the same no matter what degree I set it at. Upon going into the room after check-in, there was a full cup of what looked like a mimosa on the sink. That just gave us an uncomfortable feeling. Then the next morning around 830am, someone tried to come into our room! The door opened! Thankfully I had the top extra lock on cause they ran off right away when I yelled someone is in here. I am hoping it was just cleaning staff getting confused but c'mon. For 300 bucks to stay one night (not including $65 parking but i knew that) I would not stay again.

We love to stay at Downright in Austin. We love everything about this hotel. The gentleman that checked us in was very professional, kind and informative. The bar staff, Harrison and Maren, were exceptional, helpful with food recommendations and made us feel comfortable and welcome.
- 1/5

Very close to the UT Austin and the concert venue, the overall environment was clean, and the staff was very welcoming. It was a fantastic trip.
- 5/5
Great place to stay
- 5/5
This Hotel has a unique flare about it. It was very clean and the staff were very friendly. Will definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
When we arrived at our room and opened the door we were greeted by an sweet cocker spaniel and a confused man who, rightly, wondered why we were opening his door. I short trip back to front desk was all it took for us to be reassigned to an unnocupied room. There will always be mistakes, if they are corrected quickly and effectively, then they are no more than minor inconveniences.
- 5/5
Love the decor. Great views and fun atmosphere.
- 2/5
Mal mal atencion quizas porque no hablabamos ingles pero mal atendidos el aire del cuarto no sirvio
- 5/5
The building is a little old. It’s not physically pretty outside but inside its a beauty. The rooms aren’t as big as in the picture and they look a little older not everyone will have the view that is on Expedia, but we did get a pretty room with the capital view and the staff was exceptional.
- 5/5
The cafe downstairs was great! And the atmosphere was cool and relaxing!
- 5/5
The room was clean, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the location was convenient (food, hospital, university, bars, etc.) Overall, it was really good.

Amazing stay at this hotel for our long weekend in Austin. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was fun and beautiful. The location was fabulous. Will definitely stay again
- 4/5
Staff was really nice even when they did not gave our room on time, they were dilligent and even gave us a complimentary drink
- 5/5
Room was clean and bed/pillows were exceptionally comfortable. We had some issues with noise passing through the door and noise from the nearby highway was heard at times interrupting sleep. The check in was easy and the front desk assistant Jarrod King was a pleasure to work with and made us feel welcome. We enjoyed the coffee bar in the morning, but hope to stay again to experience a full breakfast. 5 out of 5 experience, will stay again.
- 5/5
and concert venues. I am a returning guest, and the staff was incredibly kind and quick. The rooms are great, and the beds are so comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised with the valet after a sub-par experience on our last visit. Will definitely be staying here again for our next Austin trip!
- 5/5
would happily stay here again.
- 5/5
Our 2 night stay was amazing the check in process was so easy as well as having the rooms very clean. The hotel is very much for the girls , PINK! How cute but the light is very dim in the rooms , the pool is very disco 80’s!. Overall we enjoyed our stay because it was in the middle of everything. Bars , restaurants, activities.
- 5/5
Isaac was so sweet and amazing! He was very informative, clear and thorough with everything. The hotel itself is super clean with beautiful views. Will definitely be returning.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel
- 5/5
Amazingly vintage yet modern experience. Reminded me of home (Los Angeles). Room service was very quick and responsive while the front desk staff was extremely helpful and timely. Would 100% recommend to Poole visiting downtown Austin.
- 3/5
Arrival was easy. Lobby inviting. Rooms are very outdated and overpriced.
- 5/5
Staff was amazing and such a cute, esthetic vibe
- 3/5
Housekeeping doesn’t come unless asked. They only came once during our 5-night stay (only after I asked them to) and did a poor job. One member of the front desk staff was also very rude to me (the rest were very kind). The bathroom light didn’t work. The sheets and duvet were too thin for my liking. On the positive side, the room was very spacious, the location was pretty good, and we had a wonderful view
- 5/5
The room was nice & clean. Staff was kind & the hotel was pretty!
- 3/5
The location is wonderful. The room was clean and the staff was great. The size of the room was impressive but not utilized. There was no safe in the room and we never could find an ice machine.
- 5/5
The staff were all wonderful, the rooms were clean, the lobby was welcoming, and the food was good! I highly recommend!
- 5/5
The entry of the Hotel smelled so amazing and the color theme of the Downright was so beautiful. My girlfriend was so in awe. The room was giving a retro 60/70's vibe which we all loved. Definitely one of the best hotels I've stayed in and will be booking again!
- 5/5
Such a cute place! Room was so cute, staff was very professional, breakfast was so tasty & fresh. Definitely going back & booking another stay.
- 5/5
Great location, awesome amenities and style. Spacious and very cute rooms, and the staff are so helpful and

Awesome

I want to love this hotel. Service/Staff was great. No complaints. However, room — especially bathroom — is sterile. Room smelled stale too. Love the pool, bar, and common areas but they are often empty and lack a vibe to make spaces more welcoming.
- 5/5
It was clean and stylish
- 1/5
tv didn’t work, told front desk about it twice. was charged an extra 100 dollars with no explanation. i never complain about places but i will not be back.
- 5/5
Such a cool spot! Very cleverly decorated with lots of instagramable moments!
- 5/5
Good
- 3/5
If a look warm shower, removable toilet seat lid and 1 caffeinated coffee pod for two people is your thing, this is your hotel. Yep, we could have called to the front desk on these things, but we don’t have to worry about these things at other hotels at all.
- 5/5
Mauve-alous!
- 4/5
The receptionists are extremely rude and hostile. Asked for a bbq place near by and basically laughed in
- 5/5
Everyone and everything was great
- 5/5
The design of this hotel is what stands out. Very retro, lots of gathering places. Along side that, a spotless, inviting stay.
