Property is nice and convenient to local shopping. Nice room. Bed was firm if you like that, I prefer a bit softer for my hips. Breakfast in room was a nice option to have. Two pools, one inside and the other outside. Neither had a lot of guests so it worked out fine

When I checked out there was an additional $25 /day fee included in the bill. They did agree to remove it but it should never have added in the first place. No airport shuttle so transportation costs >$100 even with Lyft. Overall amenities were fine but for the price expected better.

Solid Marriott property. Unique situation where pool was closed during son’s milestone bday. Room didn’t get cleaned one day and bathroom light wasn’t working. All around a great vibe for a family summer visit as the food was good and cafe and bars were great.

Location - Within walking distance to Trader Joe's, Starbucks and Amy's Ice Cream. Close to First Watch. Outstanding front desk staff. Can't remember her name, but she wore glasses and worked the 3pm to 11:00pm shift, slender and very personable. Irony - can't remember her name but she remembered mine every time I approached her. The view of the city from the room was great. Stayed in room 836. loved the room but there was the constant of water running or some sort of plumbing issue. I do mean "constant"! For the entire two day stay. Really an issue at night. Surely someone has mentioned this before.

CON: 1) There is a $25 daily fee referenced as “Destination” (separate from City and State Tax) on final bill and this really should be disclosed in Hotels.com website when booking hotel. 2) Paying for internet connection because your device 5G connection is practically dysfunctional. (The iPhone worked okay but not the iPad. ) We’ve always paid daily parking so no surprise there.

Stayed at the Renaissance for a business trip so didn't use many of the amenities but I love our stays there because its a beautiful hotel, really nice updated spotless rooms in a great location. The most surprising part of our fantastic experiences at Renaissance over the years has been the value - you will not find a finer hotel experience for the price anywhere in Austin period.

We stayed in the luxury suite and it was very luxurious to say the least. Good size room with a comfortable sectional couch, comfortable and clean king size bed, and they provide Kevin Murphy shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. Room was very clean. The hot tub and pool were also very clean and fun to lounge in.

I had an issue with my heat. My heat was not working and it was extremely COLD in my room. After several calls with onsite management, I was told someone was coming to my room to check the temperature and no one ever came to my room, after FREEZING for over an hour, I called the front desk and suggested that they move me to a new room. I was moved to another room that was not as great as my original room.

My family usually does not visit this area, but it was the chosen hotel for an event and it suited that purpose really well. The event room was very nice. The outside pool turned out to be lovely (nicer than we realized, once we got in the water we appreciated the canopy of trees). The suite was very eclectic - like something from the set of the 1968 film "2001: A Space Odyssey " - but spacious and with a very nice king bed. Parking was a challenge because the place is really popular for events.

My husband and daughter stayed here and after check-in, used only cash the entire stay. After they checked out and got home, my husband started noticing charges from the hotel. Not 1 or 2 charges, more like 6 or 7. When he called the hotel they said that they were his charges while staying… he paid cash for everything. They dropped the charges after looking into it and seeing receipts. But then a few days later, more charges popped up. This time I called the manager and he said he’d look into it and call me back that day, it’s been days and we still haven’t heard anything and the charges are still on his card.

No breakfast included, people at the conference starving, when the large group of 100 people books for a conference having no breakfast included and no option for lunch for more than 50 attendees, only 30 min for lunch break and only unhealthy snacks available at the store, guests tend to hecome hangry.
