The hallways were long, dark, and poorly lit, which gave the property an eerie feeling. The ice machine was also in bad condition, with exposed wires, so I did not feel comfortable using the ice. Although my room was supposedly non-smoking and appeared reasonably clean, it smelled strongly of old cigarette smoke and had an overall musty odor. The water was warm, so I cannot complain about that. Breakfast is offered, but the staff members were too busy laughing and discussing their personal business to offer even the basic courtesy of saying good morning. Overall, you definitely get what you pay for.

The breakfast offering was nice and the choices were appropriate. I was disappointed that I could not take my breakfast to my room, given I was not there on business. The hours offered for breakfast is the typical "business hours" and I was not ready to eat that early during my stay. Therefore, I was disappointed that I could not take our plates to our room. It was dine-in only. The carpet in my room was very disgusting. As I walked around without socks and shoes, black residue was under my feet. It was black like dried charcoal was in the carpet. The location was a plus but the road construction, just could not get around.

Good comfortable stay

The pool When I first arrived it took Isaac over 15 mins to check me in apparently it was a new system. The smell of the room was horrible. No refreshing smell. The blanket on one of our queen beds had a blood stains. I had originally requested a crib when I booked and showed that my request was approved but when I mention it to Isaac he said he couldn’t see it and after a few minutes he said he found one.

I came to this hotel for a one night stay. The staff was excellent and helpful with checking in and information about the hotel and the room I was staying in. The stay was excellent everything was clean and well maintained. It definitely met my expectations. I recommend it and I will most likely come back again.

You pay for what you get. If you just want a bed to sleep on, it works. Just lock yourself in your room once you get there, and don’t go back out.

Other than that, everything was great. Parking is plentiful. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast, although the same everyday, is good and filling. I would stay again.

The property was clean and my room was a decent size, clean, and comfortable. Wifi signal was good. The free breakfast was a bit lackluster. The biggest issue was construction on service road and traffic backs up terribly in the afternoon.

Bed comfortable, room clean, hotel cute charm. Air conditioning cold. Bang for your buck. Only small complaints is breakfast ended super early and and construction was happening right out of the hotel, but the hotel has no control of that.

Staff was friendly and check in process easy. My biggest complaint was our room seemed very damp. It caused my allergies to act up whenever in the room. It was hard to get a good sleep because the bedding literally felt damp. Not too sure what is the cause but it should be taken care of.

The suite was roomy, the AC kept the room nice and cool even in the Texas heat. Our suite was clean and orderly. The pool area was clean. Overall me and my family had a nice experience, and I’d definitely stay here again if in the area.

If you just need a place to stay for a night or two and are on a budget this is a good place for you. Some of the people in the neighborhood and on the premises looked a bit sketchy, but the hotel overall was ok. It’s no ritz Carlton, but it’s very close to the highway and is affordable.

There were several issues with this stay: 1) the Disabled room for my mother had ceiling/fallen stucco damage by the bed and windo area. The hotel staff told me they would clean it the next day. That was not acceptable to me. I had to clean it myself since that was the only disablity room available. 2) Neither of the air conditioners in the rooms worked properly - they sounded like they were on their "last legs." 3) on my second night my son started getting bug bites on his body and we discoverd 100's, and I do mean 100's, of bugs/ants entering the room from multiple areas. Seriously that was beyond gross. I called the front desk and asked for a room change. After seeing the bug infestation for herself the manager put us in another room ASAP. Still, I kinda felt like I was in a "horror movie" at that point. I don't think I could eve go back there again.

the price was decent. bathroom was newer. plenty of parking space. free breakfast was decent. This hotel is just ok. Not amazing like some of the reviews said. damp mildewy feel in the room. The room was old except for the bathroom. The location currently under construction on the 35 North access road... down to one lane with cement walls to get in. Staff wasn't super accommodating. made us come downstairs to get more towels.

Both the halls and room were very clean. Surprised at the high level of quality for the low price to be honest.

It’s right off of the highway where there is a lot of construction but once you get in there, it is very pleasant cozy and comfortable. The staff is really polite.

Everything was fine. Clean. My only complaint was that the room, though clean, smelled like strong mildew. I think it was due to the A/C. I'm not sure if other rooms had the same issue.

This hotel was in a very unsafe area. The room was clean. The hotel did not have cable. The pool was not open. The whole hotel smelled like bug spray. The people in the room above me and my family where so loud. They had kids that where running and jumping on the floor all night. The breakfast was same thing the whole time we where there. Eggs pork sausage and stale cereal. The juice was nasty. I will not stay here again or recommend anyone else staying here.

I was charged a security deposit and same as always, they releas le it when I check out. However, during this stay, for some reason, the lady never released my security deposit. When I arrived yhe following week, July 18th thru 21st, New face, Brandon stated he was unable to release it and had to wait for manager. Upon check out during the week of July 18th thru 21st, same lady stated that it was no longer pending on their end. I should wait 3 to 5 business days. We'll, its time for me to stay again. A whole 4 days, I have yet to receive my security deposit back. I am afraid the will take another and I will not receive that one back either. I only have 130 dollars in that account. Which I use every week for security deposit and early check in fee. So, if that money is returned, I would see my same balance returned. But to this day, I only have, 0.00 balance in this account. Thank God I didn't use my main account

Construction near the property can add time getting in and out, one way into property and one way out. Front desk was fairly quick and got the job done, nothing more, nothing less. Breakfast was your typical items, small seating area. Property was clean and decently maintained. Would stay again if not for the construction.

Booked this place because of the great reviews and price, and it definitely exceeded my expectations. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The parking lot didn’t have visible security, but it was well lit, and the parking spaces were wide enough that cars weren’t packed together, which I appreciated. Overall, it was a great stay, and I’ll definitely be keeping this place in mind for future trips.

Pool is smaland deeper part is in center of pool about 4 and half feet deep. Breakfast is ok and attendant was very polite but food was mid quality.

Disappointed

I am highly disappointed with AM staff on the weekends. I have spent good money with this hotel but I do not feel like a valued customer. The way I was talked to regarding a booking situation was unprofessional and rude. I don't feel like my patronage is respected at this establishment. Therefore, I will take my business elsewhere moving forward.

I did wake up to a 7am fire alarm and the people next doors kids were loud af on top of the noisy AC, but I paid $65 so I cant complain lol Front desk was great and the breakfast was legit and it was clean af so thats all that matters and can be controlled by the staff.

Overall, this isn't a place I would recommend for an extended stay. It's okay if you just need somewhere to sleep, shower, and head back out for a night or two, but I wouldn't choose to stay here again.

Construction on road makes property hard to get to, but once in... It's very clean smell, well maintained rooms/property. Fair size options for breakfast. Ice machines seemed to function properly. Pool looked available and maintained. Would highly recommend great place for good price. Pillows weren't my favorite, but I'm peculiar about neck support..shrug

The breakfast was nice, though! Simple but had good protein and carb options. We loved the eggs and added cheese and salsa, and we always had waffles every morning. Don't forget to tip!

The only thing I didn't like was the hold on the security deposit that took over 2 days to get back I wouldn't of cared for the wait but I needed it back to use it but It's not their fault though. Overall everything was great! I like that place, it's was clean, and the breakfast was awesome!! The staff was cool too. Definitely worth it being we were rated over the regular price being the 4th of July too. Definitely worth it! 💯

We came in earlier than expected and within 15 minutes we had our room with no additional charge. The room was very nice and clean! And the air conditioning was probably our favorite part, it kept our room very cool during the evening while we were at our concert. I would definitely stay here again.

Staff was very kind and understanding, however I canceled my stay upon arrival. Hotel was not as well maintained as photos, but mainly because there was a male hotel guest who was being creepy towards me in the parking lot that made me uncomfortable to leave my car and sleep here as a female solo traveler.

Came for UT orientation. Easy access off Hwy 35 and straight shot to campus. Staff were amazing. Breakfast was good. Room was cleaned and property was well maintained. Only down fall the bed was a little too firm for my taste. But that is my opinion. Will stay here again to visit.

Clean room! Great staff, good for the price considering I paid $44 for one night, way better than a Motel 6, they had breakfast aswell! Only complaint would be a small musty cleaning product smell but good after I sprayed a bit of bath and body works ocean perfume and smelled good . The room was clean, and overall was not a bad experience would come again
