I’ve stayed at Motel 6 before in another state and had a great experience, so I’m sure this will be fine in a few months when their construction is done. That said the location (and its neighboring hotel) somehow feel a little rougher than the other hotels right across the street. After this experience I booked slightly more expensive hotels for the rest of our trip.

The pictures are of the other Motel 6 down the road. This one looked like something out of a horror movie. I’ve stayed at the other one. They charged the same rate, but didn’t even have TVs. It was absolutely destroyed. Crappy A/C. The door didn’t close all the way. It was scary and awful. Do not recommend. False advertising!!!

The television nor WiFi was working. And the staff didn’t inform me at the time of check in.!

To make matters worse, I found roaches in the bathroom. The combination of the mold smell, apparent water damage, and pest issues made the room feel unsanitary and poorly maintained. The atmosphere outside the room wasn’t any better. There were several questionable individuals lingering in the parking lot, which made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. After seeing the condition of the room and the overall environment, I checked out almost as quickly as I checked in and booked a room at another hotel. This was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had, and I would not recommend staying here.

The room was clean and neatly put together. Room 108 the door would not open immediately you had to pull handle a certain way and that information was not shared with me by front desk. The t in the room had no satellite or connection so I was unable to watch any tv.

Enjoyed the new hardwood flooring, new sink and common anreas, and the how clean the room was. The facility is old and needs upgrades on all hardware (doors, windows, bathtubs), the neighborhood is noisy, but price and location is good. A solid 3/5.

Night check in staff was great. The original room we had the toilet wasnt working. She was able to reach out to the property manager and switch the rooms for us. Check in was fast and easy as well. She also took into consideration the location of the room for our comfort.

No microwave…….no fridge…….no coffee and surely no breakfast….thank God for Dennys…..there was constant police activity from drug and prostitution on this property They refused to refund me so I could get something else and I couldn’t afford to just let them keep my $$$$$

Solo traveler that stayed for four nights. The room was super clean. The air conditioning was okay. No microwave or fridge. The pool is under renovation. I would call ahead to ask if you’re looking forward to use the pool considering how HOT it is in Texas. The young lady staff who welcomed me was very patient and accommodating as well as the young man who helped me checkout. I will say however, I called front desk on one of the nights and the staff(man) that answered seemed abit rude with his one worded reply. This I feel management should look into because I personally felt ignored by this. Other than this, it’s a good place to be in if you’re on a budget. There’s a 24/7 diner right next door with a 7/eleven gas station right after. There is also a bus stop station near that can take you back and forth to the airport and also to the main city for sight seeing and shopping.

Internet rarely connects or I should say there is NO internet available, Shower has weak pressure, not enough hot water. Door lock was broken, need several attempts to unlock door through keycard.

It is terrible that it is infested with pests and smells of cigarette smoke. Furthermore, the area where it is located is unsafe.

The property is old, but it can still be cleaned better than they do. The walls in the room looked like someone either spit on the walls or threw stuff at the walls. There was no iron, hair dryer, or other amenities. The door was hard to open to get in the room; the door had been kicked in or something so that pot a metal piece there instead of fixing the door frame. E asked for help when we couldn’t get in the room, and the staff act as if they didn’t speak English enough to help. It was better than the other property we were at.

Room was non-smoking, but smelled like someone had been smoking in it. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly. Was asked about a pet, but didn't bring one this time. Parking is small and tight. Be careful with those parking blocks!

I wish I had better things to say, but unfortunately I had to stay the one night, as I didn't have any other options, and was forced to find another hotel for the remainder of my stay in Austin. This is a place to be avoided if at all possible, cannot recommend it to anyone.

Rooms do not have microwaves and refrigerators and ice machine was out . Worst experience ever never again. Especially traveling with kids do not go there my kids didn’t want to shower cause it looked so dirty! Pool wasn’t even working !

Pool was under construction, room was dirty and no amenities what so ever. Tv didn’t work, shower was rusty and had mildew and the towels were stained and the toilet was wobbly. Dead roaches in the lights above the bed.

Room smelled great and was clean but the room structure was horrible. Wi fi was weak and the people was sketchy. I’ve been to many but this one was pretty bad.

Rub!!! The staff didn’t say two words upon check in. Didn’t tell me where my room was or anything. The place is beyond sketchy. People screaming and fighting in the parking lot some man beat on my car fitting with some lady. They gave someone a key to my room then came up beat on my door asking why I was there. Like dude you checked me into the room, I paid for two night and left after one. Slept in my car. Will never be even if it was free stay there again.

Requested no housekeeping, housekeeping was done, and the room was left with a strong chemical smell. I also then found a syringe in the toilet, and an opened second bar of soap sitting next to the one I’d opened myself

We booked the room to nap a bit before a show, no intention of spending the night and even a daytime nap here was worrisome. The door and walls were filthy. Just overall unattended to. I’ve never stayed at a motel 6 like this before. If it was at night it would not be safe. Sometimes you book the cheapest place just to lay your head down somewhere safe at night but this is not it. It felt very unsafe.

Room was nothing like pictured or described. Couldn’t watch tv. No mini fridge. Walls were all stained. Outlets were all popped out, not connected to the walls. Wasn’t comfortable there at all.

We never ever stepped into the room. Wanted our refund. Staff was getting really aggressive, his tone and manner wasnt professional at all. Staff stated one price ( it was higher). Checked the bank it was a different lower price. There was a discrepancy. Staff charged us x amount of dollars. Staff told us the manager was gonna be there next day, wasnt. We stayed at a different establishment that night, they insisted we stayed there' and checked out the next day.It wasn't safe. My wife didn't want to get out of the car. Called the cooperate office several times and got a run around.

Staff was goos about it due to issue with heater, but in general rooms could be in better working conditions.

The only issue was that the light to the sinnk are was not working and there was a leack in the shower that kept me up all night.

There is still a big hole in the ceiling above the bathtub . When the room above it runs its shower, water sprays everywhere in my bathroom

The room was unsafe holes in the wall mole on the ceilings the pool had garbage inside of it. It was pimps and prostitute. The smoke dector was off yhe wall. The bathroom had blue tape on it. It was horrible. I had to check out and get another hotel!!!!

This is the 3rd day in a row that I haven’t received towels. when I asked the front desk for towels yesterday, it seemed like the clerk acted as if I were annoying him. Maybe not, that’s just the impression I got

Again, the room was very clean, last time I stayed at the red roof and the room was smelly and the a/c didn’t work great. Surprisingly a great experience!

Photos on website were completely inaccurate! Photos made rooms appear well kept and in good condition; this was far from true. We ended up not staying the night as planned due to not feeling safe in this area.

The hotel is very neglected. The facilities are poorly maintained, cleanliness is lacking, and the overall experience was disappointing. I would not recommend it until significant improvements are made.

It’s a motel 6 so it was good for having a dog but they don’t give any shampoo or conditioner which was fine because I had my own and they don’t have a fridge or microwave in the room. Plus there was a leak in the ceiling.
