The hotel is generally well-liked for its unique, vintage atmosphere and convenient location. Guests appreciate the friendly staff and cleanliness. However, there are recurring issues with room amenities such as air conditioning and refrigerators, and some guests find the rooms small and beds uncomfortable.

I was incredibly impressed by this hotel. The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food and drinks were top tier. I am looking forward to another visit.

The Lone Star Court was a wonderful find! From its “retro” vibe to the helpful staff, our one night visit was fun and comfortable. Great location in The Domain-not too close to all the noise and traffic-easy to find and great parking! We will definitely be staying there on our next trip to Austin!

The sheets had dried blood, the door to the bathroom was to noisy and no one could go to the restroom without waking up the whole room, there was a cockroach in the bathroom, the pool was too small and couldn’t find any chairs to sit on or leave our stuff, the bottom of the pool was scratchy, and the light wasn’t working in the shower.

My favorite hotel in Austin
- 5/5
Great location, never had to get in the car. Do by the pool, live music and great restaurant. Great atmosphere, cute rooms and wonderful amenities

The location at the Domain is great! Shopping, food and entertainment were close. I would love for parking to be included in the price

Clean rooms, great staff and perfect for a weekend trip.

My only feedback would be to pay a little more attention to cleaning underneath the beds. The area under our bed was quite dusty and had some dirt underneath it. Aside from that, everything was clean and well maintained. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay at Lone Star Court again. We highly recommend it!

The property was nice and a close walk or drive to outings, however I was charged $30.02 for “mini bar usage”. My spouse and I only touched the fridge to place our leftovers in there. When I called and asked about these charges they stated we drank the water that was in the fridge. The waters were given to us upon arrive by the staff member, Chris and the other water bottle was from a gas station. Just for them to look through our trash and assume we drank the waters from the fridge is absolutely insane. If you stay here I recommend you take a picture of the mini bar before and after in case the try to charge you. Additionally before you pay for parking ask for a validation. This wasn’t communicated with us upon arrival so we paid $27 for “overnight parking” (arrived and paid at 4pm and it was expired at 11pm) when i asked the front desk he just stated that we didn’t have to worry about the parking because of there event going on. This should’ve been communicated upon arrival. Lastly, they charge you an “$18 resort fee” but fail to mention this can be used for the mini bar or restaurant. So why would we be getting charge if it included with this fee.

First time here and very impressed by the rooms, amenities and staff. Came in to check out a trail we saw in TikTok but decided to stay here as it was only 20 minutes away. Room was beautiful, pool was nice, grounds were maintained, breakfast delicious and the staff friendly. Will be coming back without the little one for a mire adult experience next month.
- 5/5
Very clean, nice grounds, nice staff. The restaurant area is really nice, but if you're looking for a mimosa-they don't start serving alcohol until 3pm. Located next to a shopping mall with all kinds of shops and some cute restaurants. It was a great place for me to stay during my business trip.
- 3/5
Check in was easy, even though they were very busy. The cleanliness was questionable, my sheets had stains on them. Guests were very loud in the middle of the night, I was waiting for the hotel staff to intervene, but they never did.
- 5/5
Think country chic paired with a beautifully maintained property and lovely amenities. Staff was kind and helpful. The aesthetic of the rooms were very well curated. We enjoyed the pool, and all all of the shops and restaurants at the domain that were within walking distance. Would for sure return!
- 5/5
Great staff made sure we were taken care of. Very nice heated pool with an excellent bar… Comfy clean room. But, the metal sliding door to the bathroom area was heavy and noisy, just needs lubed. We will definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Great property and close to shopping, activities, and restaurants!

We so enjoyed the vibe of the whole hotel. Short but sweet stay. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back!

Fun place. Clean, well staffed, everything is always amazing.
- 5/5
Clean rooms and good bites. Enjoyed the location and the pool the most.
- 3/5
My wife and I thought the hotel was great, however we weren’t able to get any sleep since the air conditioning in our room was obnoxiously loud. With that being said the property was well maintained and all the staff were friendly.
- 1.5/5
Rustic vibe is very cute until you find a Gecko in the armour on top of your yoga bag.
- 5/5
Chris, at the front desk, couldn’t be more kind, helpful, and friendly. He made our check-in experience exceptional. Highly recommend Lone Star Court for a unique Austin experience where you’ll feel welcome and spoiled.
- 4/5
It is definitely not a high end hotel. The staff were nice. The rooms needed a deep cleaning found a earing back on the main area and the bathroom tile and light fixtures needed a better cleaning.
- 5/5
Staff was great. Property is a hidden gem and the price was reasonable. Location great for shopping at the Domain.
- 4/5
Room was clean and very cool. Pool was nice but didn't have much room and no sun really because there's lots of trees. The towels weren't stocked either. The front staff in the morning wasn't very helpful particularly one man. He wasn't rude just didn't seem to care. What would have made it better was more attentive staff . The breakfast was expensive and not good for the price. But I would stay here again knowing this just make different plans for food and eat
- 5/5
Honestly this place is a hidden gym. Will definitely come back. Staff are super helpful.
- 5/5
Low key relaxing resort in the middle of great shopping area. Restaurant with great service on site, outdoor bar, outdoor play area and pool. Restaurant will deliver your food to you at the pool if you ask. I would absolutely stay here again.
- 5/5
The vibe is real, we had a wonderful stay.
- 3/5
The rooms need some cleaning/updating. Our bathroom was covered in mold and mildew throughout the floors, shower and sink. I would not stay there again for this price.
- 4/5
I also had the do not disturb sign on my door the whole 3 days I stayed there. Someone came in my room even though I had the DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door. I did notice they replaced the 2 water bottles. So that is all they should have charged me for...nope, the invoice had over 14 charges plus service fees for each charge and then restocking fees for each charge on top of that. What kind of scam is this??!! Are they allowed to come in with a do not disturb sign on the door? One day I saw that it was on the ground. Anyhow, they did take off all the charges but I am disturbed that they were in my room when I didn't want them to and trying to hustle me.
- 2/5
I have stayed here before and never had a problem but this time we didn’t had a good time there. They gave us a room on the 3rd floor and the elevator was not working. I had my 4 year old with me and he almost fell from walking down the stairs so many times. We asked if we could change to the 1st floor and they were not able to accommodate us. When they gave us the room they didn’t mentioned the elevator was not working. Coffee maker was not working either in our room. We just didn’t enjoyed out time there.
- 5/5
Manager Johnnie was amazing. Elevator was down and my mother is handicapped and cannot navigate stairs. He immediately upgraded us to a deluxe 1st floor room and gave us a discount on our meal and drinks at the hotel restaurant. Top notch customer service.

Super cute place with large inner courtyard, outdoor bar & pool. Even with kids playing outside, room stayed quiet. Blackout curtains + bathroom barn door equaled perfect darkness for sleeping in. Great to be able to walk to plenty of food, coffee and entertainment options.

We've stayed here 3 different times. Such a lovely and comfortable hidden gem north of Austin. We love thr property, proximity to the Domain and the Hill Country. Convenient, great food, bar and live music in the weekends. Beautiful property... a true oasis. Clean, safe, and walkable to a tons of activities at the Domain! Perfect for adults or families.

This didn’t feel like a hotel, it felt like an experience. It was absolutely beautiful!

My husband and I live in Austin but stay at the Lone Star at the Domain several times a year to get away from our children lol for a night or 2. We love EVERYTHING about this property - the staff, the amenities, the location to shopping and food trucks. Plus, we get to bring our Great Pyrenees, Murphy with us and he LOVES it too! Highly recommended!
- 5/5
We love this place! Great location, staff is amazing, plenty of things to do in the area and the rooms are amazing.
- 5/5
The hotel has a beautiful interior patio suitable for all ages.
- 3/5
Not a bad place, dirty floors with bugs crawling around. Bathroom sliding door is loud and you can hear next door neighbors and people outside. Food and drinks was expensive at the restaurant with slow service
- 5/5
This is one of our first choices to stay when traveling to Austin.
- 4/5
The hotel was great, and I’d definitely go again, but they need to address the mildew or damp smell in the rooms—getting rid of the carpets would help. The staff were amazing, though the snacks and drinks in the mini bar were a bit overpriced. Breakfast at the restaurant was tasty and plentiful, and I thought having food trucks at the end of the parking lot was a really cool touch.
- 4/5
The hotel was fine but I forgot some clothing in my room, called back to see if they had it and never got a call back or anything!!
- 5/5

Jonnie at the front desk was so incredible! So friendly and very kind. He took the time to explain what was what and where everything was. The first night we were there our waitress was really sweet and very attentive and our meal was so yummy. The pool area was really nice, we enjoyed being in the water and listening to the live music. Afterwards, we enjoyed the late evening by the fire. The weather was so nice and it made the evening very enjoyable. Breakfast on Sunday morning was not what I thought it would be. I sat outside for about 20 minutes with no one helping so I decided to go inside, I sat at a table by the bar to be noticed and I still waited about 30 minutes to be waited on. I was alone and there were three groups of 2 or more that got there after me that were waited on before me. It wasn't until another table next to me saw what was going on and mentioned something to the waitress about no one helping me. The food was okay, the coffee was yummy, I ordered a mimosa, which I never got but I did get my ticket before I even got my food. lol. I probably won't eat breakfast there again but everything else will continue to take me back!
- 5/5
Hate to say this….. Please fix the restaurant… . Hard to believe its connected to the hotel. Bad service, dry food. The manager let us sit there and ignored us even after checking on a table 2 away from us. 20 min later the bus boy saw us waiting. No bueno.
- 5/5
We love the vibe at Lone Star Court. Very handy to The Domain. Didn’t eat at the restaurant.
- 5/5
Great atmosphere in the middle of Austin! We sat outside by the fire places and it was quiet like we were in the country. The staff was great!

The staff was amazing the room was clean and stocked with everything we needed. The bar was nice and the staff again very friendly.

Chris B at the front desk was very helpful and comped our room at the second hotel along with our charges at the Lone Star Court. The Lone Star Court grounds were wonderful, and the amenities were great for the short time we were there.
- 5/5
Rooms were very clean and spacious. Plenty of amenities and a full refrigerator. Front desk staff was helpful and the restaurant on the property had delicious food and our waitress was great.
- 5/5
Such a beautiful, unique property. We loved our stay!
- 5/5
One of the best hotels I've stayed at so far. I travel a lot and have stayed at a lot of different places, but Lone Star exceeded all my expectations. Fell in love with the place the minute I pulled up; it just had a different vibe. The staff was super friendly and helpful, the room was squeaky clean, food was delicious; it was quiet, peaceful, calm, everything I wanted! The TV in my room was not connecting to the internet for some reason and they offered me a different room when I called to ask at midnight! Special shout-out goes to Chris who was at the front desk in the mornings for helping me with any concerns I had, and to Ms Winnie at The Water Trough for being the most caring and attentive and taking care of my food in every way!

This is a fun property that just feels like Austin and the Hill Country…but tucked inside a multi-use development. This was the last leg of a long weekend trip we took to celebrate a milestone birthday while showing the Hill Country to guests visiting from Canada.

Great location in Domain area and property was great!

Retro style hotel, so a bit different but everything you need. Softish beds, which I prefer. In common with many hotels I can't understand why, when you use a bath robe, towell, or face cloth once, and it's removed immediately, seems a waste. Best stocked fridge I've ever seen - at a price, of course.
- 5/5
Great property at great location.
- 5/5
Excellent service! We were allowed to check in early with a $30 fee. They give you a bottle of water and/or a nice cold beer after you check in and make sure you know where everything is and what’s happening in the property. Super cute vintage western rooms, we loved it!

Don't stay in room 112. You will hear birds in the stairs chirping until 3am and a light shines through the bathroom all night.
