2) Pool was bone dry 3) Room carpet was dirty and stained 4) Room furniture was old, chair was peeling off 5) Breakfast was horrible, no fresh bake as shown on photos 6) Only hot water was coming out of the shower when i wend for cold shower after a long day. 7) Before arriving, when i called Hotel phone number listed in the website many times, but was not working.
- 2/5
The hotel said parking was free, but I was charged $3.71 for parking at check-in. The swimming pool was also unavailable during my stay. The floor in the room was very dirty, and there was a strong musty smell coming from the bathroom. Overall, I was very disappointed with my stay and expected much better cleanliness and service.
- 0.5/5
Absolutely nothing. I got into my room and immediately noticed the distinct smell of cigarettes, I find a cigarette burn on the comforter. In the bathroom the toilet seat was very old, I noticed dried up pee on the TOILET SEAT on the back!! In the shower there was a dirty wash rag that the cleaners did not get. The carpet felt absolutely disgusting, and the air conditioner was so terrible! I am so mad that I ever booked this place. I am not one to complain, but PLEASE DONT book this hotel! SAVE YOUR MONEY PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE
- 0.5/5
Booking charged us a initial fee and we paid it online which was the amount that was due at the hotel then when we arriaved we were asked to pay again even tho we told them that we already paid, then when we checked out they charged us yet again. We contacted booking and they said to reach out to the hotel in which they have never reached out or gave us the refund
- 2/5
This place is in desperate need of a renovation. The carpet was terrible, the ceiling water stained, the breakfast was pitiful. Location was accessible but not in a great neighborhood.
- 4/5
Everything was good. I did not like that i had 2 different neighbors that were being loud. Slamming doors at 2-3 am and the other was drunk being all loud and slamming doors as well at around 2-4 am. I could not sleep with all their noise. This all happened the last 2 nights I stayed there. It was Wednesday and Thursday going into Friday morning. But other than that everything else was ok.

This property look nothing like the web site. Lighting in parking lot was 4/10, I worried about vehicle all night. Lobby was dark, smelly and dirty. The pool had been emptied for months, possibly years, not a drop of water in site. The elevators were filthy and dark. Halls were filthy worn, smelly, dark. Room was smelly, dark, torn furniture. Slept on top of bedding w back pack as a pillow. Wanted to leave but it was non refundable purchase on Expedia and I had no extra funds for another hotel. I deserve a refund or a free vacation for staying here. Don’t know why they are able to call them selves a Wyndham hotel or even market in Expedia w false images of their establishment. So disappointing.
- 2/5
They charge for parking and the security deposit is non-refundable
- 3/5
The rooms were dirty. First room was leaking water from bathroom faucet, carpet was very dirty in the room and in the hallways, pool was closed. Breakfast was late. Employee put out an empty bottle of creamer in the coffee area. Homeless living very near.

Very good

I messaged them and then called them 5 times. My calls either didn’t go through or were random automated messages that made no sense. They messaged me back and they told me the police incident wasn’t about anything to do with their hotel guests but I still didn’t feel super safe so I asked if I could cancel and maybe get a refund. After that they ghosted me lol. I am not really mad that I didn’t get a refund but more that at the moment they weren’t getting my business any longer, they just kept my money and didn’t care to respond to me. I also messaged them now three times and still haven’t heard a thing. The holiday inn down a little ways is fire tho.

La Quinta in Austin is a wonderful place to stay! The staff is friendly, professional, and very welcoming. The grounds and surrounding areas are clean and tidy. I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Austin—you won't be disappointed

- 3.5/5
Location. No free parking. Parking lot could’ve used a little more lighting. Carpet needed cleaning or replacement.
- 4/5
Shower floor is dirty.
- 2/5
Shelter Very little hygiene products in the shower
- 0.5/5
The hotel is in a rough neighborhood, a view of the highway, and when the lady at the front desk was getting paperwork together, a roach fell from the ceiling onto the paperwork. I will not be staying at that hotel again.
- 1/5
They have a $5 per day fee for parking which is stupid, on top of that the shower had no pressure and the temperature was off, the AC was making loud noises thru the day which made it impossible to get a good sleep, and I just stayed for 1 night, I can't imagine if I was staying longer. Won't be returning, it used to be nice but this management has turned it terrible.

Nothing about this place is even acceptable. Pay to park on a lot with homeless people. I want .my money back!

I never experienced a LaQuinta Inn just nasty. The carpet dirty, flying roaches on the wall. I had to check out early I couldn’t take it. I will never go here again. Nothing

Cockroaches, broken tv remote control, smells of smoke and weed. The swimming pool doesn't work and the breakfast was disgusting. The announce free parking and it wasn't free at all. Not recommended!
- 4/5
Great location. Friendly staff.
- 1/5
I travel to Austin every 4-5 weeks on work/business trip. This is the worse hotel yet. Carpet is dirty need replace. Breakfast service is bad.
- 2/5
It was pretty beat down and breakfast was really bad
- 2/5
Pool had been out of service for a long time and they didn't even have the door to the outdoor pool area locked. It was a safety hazard. Ice machines on a few floors did not work. Only one elevator was in service and it struggled to get moving. Carpeting was filthy. The location was great, for us and the staff was great. The hotel definitely needed some work!!
- 1/5
The hotel looked nothing like the pictures online. We booked this hotel specifically for the breakfast which ended up being a huge disappointment. They served hard boiled eggs, Texas Pete hot sauce that wasn’t red; it was brown, along with oatmeal you could not cook because there was not any hot water. The pool was completely drained along with the hot tub. Completely disappointed in this hotel

Incredibly dirty room. Mystery liquid splattered in the wall behind the bed. The carpets were stained and not maintained. The air conditioner was so loud and noisy it sounded like a lawn mower.
- 1/5
Dirty and run down. Definitely not worth what I paid.
- 1/5
Filthy. No water in the pool. Mold on the breakfast oranges. Terrible day old tasting coffee. The blow-dryer provided was melted and broken. I took it to the manager Terrence Evans and said it was a fire hazard and I brought it to him as a courtesy to keep the staff from returning it to its pouch in the room. He promptly informed me it's fixable and will be placed in another room. I thought he was either crazy or joking, but then he called over a custodian/groundskeeper guy and asked him to fix it. I said if the place burns down I'll point the fire department to him. He mocked me and laughed. The next day the fire Marshal was inspecting the property. I then pointed out a big hole in the lint screen of the dryer where the lint gets sucked through. I used the dryer 4 times, never pulled any lint from it. That place might be shut down to widen the I35 corridor in the near future, I suspect management is prepping to burn it down and collect on insurance. Supervisor Evans doesn't care. I tried to speak to his supervisor who happened to be onsite while the fire Marshal was there and another staff member literally prevented me from talking to him and refused to provide his name. AVOID THIS FILTHY, GOD FORSAKEN PLACE AT ALL COSTS.
- 3/5
Staff is awesome. Needs upgrades in rooms for sure. Clean, quiet, and feels safe; just needs upgrades and updates to the property.
- 5/5
Nice receptionist
- 2/5
The photos are not what they seem. We specifically requested a pool when searching. It was drained. The breakfast only offered a maximum of 4 items. The typical waffle maker , toast , cold boiled eggs & cereal. The microwave in that area was filthy dirty. Laundry services weren’t available. Room services did not clean our room even after requesting. We stayed 3 nights & they just gave us more towels. Being by the freeway made it accessible to a lot of activities. But I wouldn’t stay again. You pay for amenities that aren’t available.
- 1/5
I had a total on 5 rooms neither were cleaned during our 7 night stay. Just excuses after excuses.
- 1/5
Terrible experience, there was mold in the bathroom, room smells bad, pool doesn’t work and very poor service.
- 2/5
Run down property - certainly not up to La Quinta standards. NO breakfast whatsoever. Indifferent staff
- 1/5
Should have known from the torn up hotel sign outside to stay away but the rusty waffle maker might just be a health hazard.
- 3/5
The thing that caused me to rate the stay as 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 is that after I ate a few things from what was left of the breakfast they gave out was that is saw a dead "pest" mixed in with the mini-muffins. I informed the staff doing clean up (because it was around 9:30 and they end breakfast at that time at that property) and their reaction was an unconcerned sounding, "wow." The sad thing is that I hadn't noticed the dead pest until I had already had a few pieces of toast. With me not taking a picture it's just my word, but hopefully no one gets sick from that or something else dealing with uncleanliness. That or more that might've seen something similar voice the issue with proof so that the property can work on addressing the issue.
- 3/5
Room was humid. Came down at 8 for breakfast and everything was completely empty. Pool was drained. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Staff was friendly.
- 2/5
I was double charged for my deposit
- 3/5
Breakfast is a joke, even for a continental
- 4/5
Nothing bad nothing unique
- 5/5
Very clean bathroom and that's a plus with me. Carpet needs to be maintained better in the rooms.. My room was clean and nice, I appreciate the quietness.☕
- 1/5
I did not see room. Refused at checkin in spite if showing reservation and receipt.
- 4/5
It was okay for the weekend
- 3/5
They didn't properly clean the room, there was still food left in the fridge from previous tenant. Breakfast options were sad.
- 2/5
Mattress was stained and disgusting. Elevators were out. There was no "hot breakfast" as advertised. No staff would respond to complaints.
- 5/5
Nice clean and quiet
- 1/5
Muy sucio hasta cucarachas en las camas la tina del.baño muyyy sucia
- 3/5
The building need maintenance as well as the rooms. Looks old, cabinets are flimsy, carpet is torn/old, showers were wiggly, and the pool was out of order. Looks like they will be closed soon if they don’t update
- 5/5
The room was clean, air conditioning was nice and cold. Friendly staff
- 2/5
Dirty rooms, dusty, cockroaches around.bathroom are really dirty. Terrible at all..
- 2/5
Elevators were broken. Sheets were thrown in the middle of the hallway for a whole day. Breakfast was horrendous and check out was the worst. Had to wait for 30 minutes because there was only 1 person at the front desk while it looked like upper management was just sitting in the Breakfast area on their phone.
- 2/5
The elevator did not work. Parking lot was horrible. Breakfast was very poor. Customer service was poor. The hotel was very dirty. The toiletries were insufficient. Did not provide housekeeping upon request.
- 2/5
The room number we stayed was 110. I would like to have my refund. I would not have reserved it and stayed here if I had known it earlier. I had been to Austin with my family for graduation ceremony of my daughter. Her younger sister stayed with her, but there was no options for me, my wife, and my mom than to spend two nights in such a horrible environment.
- 1/5
The staff was nice and none of this was her fault. I picked this hotel because it was close to our event and said it had a pool and hot tub. I wanted both in case the pool was cold. It had them but they were dry. Nothing about that on the site, when booking. One elevator was out and the second barely worked. It kept getting stuck. The carpet on our floor was so stained and ripped it was gross. Ice maker on our floor didn’t work either. Breakfast and coffee was terrible too. The place was a dump.
- 1/5
Disappointing stay – Poor maintenance and terrible breakfastI would strongly advise against staying here. Do not let the photos deceive you; the reality is a far cry from what is advertised. The room was in a state of total disrepair: the lights didn’t work, the electrical outlets were loose, and one was completely non-functional. Additionally, the bathroom sink was badly clogged. To make matters worse, the breakfast was unacceptable. There were no basic food options available—only cold boiled eggs. For the price paid, the lack of basic amenities and edible food is inexcusable. I would never recommend this property to anyone.
- 3/5
Need to replace carpets and furniture. Looks worn.
- 1/5
The entire place is in horrible shape. Peeling walls, worn-out furniture, and everything looked dirty, old, and neglected. The “view” from our room was a junkyard collection of broken-down A/C units and lawnmowers scattered outside like some kind of maintenance graveyard. Nothing says “vacation” like staring at rusty equipment all day. The pool also desperately needs work. It looked poorly maintained and completely took away from whatever little appeal this place might’ve once had. I’ve seen cleaner gas station bathrooms and better views behind warehouses. Whoever owns this place should be embarrassed to call it a hotel. Save yourself the regret, the disappointment, and probably a tetanus shot — stay literally anywhere else.
- 4/5
Overall, I’d rate it 3 out of 5 stars.
- 4/5
Stayed at la Quinta this property is central to most things I needed. Price was affordable. Walmart is close if your traveling with a family restaurants arent to far away either. The property needs a deep clean visibly dirty curtains you can see from outside of the building. Carpets could use a steam cleaning and floor two smells like it was flooded previously. The staff are friendly never walked inside without a greeting and never came back without a greeting. We didnt come down for breakfast so cant speak to that also did not use pool or hot tub. Beds are comfortable AC pumps great.Parking is free watch out for raccoons. If property had a deep cleaning we would definitely stay again.
- 1/5
Check-in took far too long because I had to get three different rooms. The door was ajar to the first room and it was not cleaned and the bed wasn’t made, as if someone was still staying there. The second room’s AC was broken. The third was fine but the condition of the hotel made for an uncomfortable stay. I do not recommend unless this is your only option.
- 3/5
Staff was very pleasant, bed was very decent, bathroom too. Good location for where I need to go. I’m praying they get the funding needed for the much needed updates. Again, the staff was super nice.
- 1/5
Cleaning was not done in room I stayed. Stains in blankets
- 4/5
I selected this
- 3/5
Windows rattled, had to put a cushion and chair to prop it up.
- 1/5
Oh man this place is a dump. Stains, inadequate lighting, exterior windows that don't lock, tv didn't work. Furniture is disrepair. Saving grace is that the sheets are clean and bathroom is clean. The staff is overworked.
- 2/5
Con's: 1. The hallway carpet outside rooms was stained and dirty. Looked like it had not been steam cleaned in years. Our room carpet was stained and dirty also. I did not feel comfortable walking on it without shoes to protect my feet. 2. Base of the furniture enclosure around the mini-fridge was scratched & chipped- needed to be sanded and stained. 3. Walls in the hallway and room were stained and needed to be painted. 4. The curtain banister had a huge dark stain (I have no idea how something splashed 6 feet above the floor!) 5. Breakfast was horrible - NO HOT FOOD like scrambled eggs, grits, hashbrowns, beacon, sausage. No Danish pastry, donuts or bagels. Instead, it only consisted of boiled eggs, bowl of apples & oranges, milk, juice (tasted like Tang powder drink mix), bags of instant oatmeal, cereal (in two dispensers), pancake/waffle mix in a water pitcher covered by cellophane wrap, a waffle skillet, slices of bread arranged on an open platter, pop-up toaster, jelly in a squeeze bottle (top popped off when I tried to use it), thin flimsy paper plates that drop anything placed on it. No staff available to keep the area clean and supplies replenished - Front Desk Manager ran over there upon demand. 6. Pool & Fitness Room were unavailable due to repairs

Deberían de limpiar mejor las habitaciones y el desayuno es un total engaño, solo huevo duro y manzana y naranja nomás…

- 1/5
This place is nasty.
- 2/5
The property is dated and in need of renovation. The staff greeted me cooly and the breakfast was sparse and poorly organized. I liked the internet, up front free parking and there location on the highway. However, don't ever pay more than $70-75 for this gray-brown, sad, forgettable hotel.
- 2/5
The stay was OK for the price. The breakfast selection was very limited.
- 2/5
The carpet was dirty,I walked in and out quickly. Feel free to see it your self, go see room 104 for your self. You will pat me on the back and thank me later.
- 1/5
The hotel was so rundown outside and in that I’m surprised La Quinta had not taken their flag. Clearly, the pictures on the Internet were of some other hotel because it looked very nice online and as soon as I pulled up, it was just a complete dump The only reason I stayed there is because I got in late and I didn’t have time to mess with that. Otherwise I would have complained and changed hotels. Do not stay at this hotel ever it is so bad, so dirty and falling apart. I don’t know how this hotel is even open, I guess from lying on the Internet about how nice it is. I couldn’t even sleep well because the hotel was so dirty and not kept and I also thought that my car was going to get broken into. The hotel was so dirty, I don’t even know where to start just everywhere everything. I slept with all my clothes on because I didn’t even know if the sheets were really clean or not.
- 2/5
Below average
- 5/5
Everything was clean and my stay was great.
- 1/5
Breakfast ran out every morning 10 minutes after it started and the staff refused to refill anything. The property is in a state of utter disrepair—which they claim is renovation but there is zero evidence of said renovation. Pool drained, looks like a rotten pit. The carpet in my room was wet for some reason and remained so most of the trip. They let unhoused people come in and eat breakfast and sit on the floor in the lobby. At night, a dude with a knife circled the parking lot on a bike. The staff laughed at me and made fun of me and rolled their eyes and got mad at me when I complained. I wasn’t the only one who complained. It seemed no one was happy to be staying at this hotel.
- 3/5
The lobby smelled like cigarette smoke. The room felt musty and smelled like urine. Not a great experience. Will not be returning, ever.
- 1/5
Would NOT recommend! Bed was clean, but room was NASTY!! Front staff acted like we interrupted her cell phone conversation when checking in & the front lobby smelled of marijuana. Bathroom light didn’t work, shower didn’t work, air conditioner made noises all night & the walls were NASTY!! Forfeited our 2nd night & left!
- 1/5
Let me give some context before I begin. I picked this place because I was only staying for SXSW a few days. It had a free breakfast and fitness center, perfect! Upon arrival, the place looks like an abandoned building. The staff, not polite, no welcome they just looked like they didnt want to be there. I paid extra to check into my room early because I had a long day traveling. When I walked into my room, I couldn't believe my eyes. Spots on the walls, carpet ripped, stained and beyond filthy. I checked my bed for bedbugs...all clear thank god! But I laid a towel on the floor because, I don't know whose been there. The next morning went to breakfast and they had eggs, some kind of hash browns, little sausages, cereal, pancake mix, bread, coffee. It was decent. That never happened again. The second morning where scrambled eggs should be normally, filled with hard-boiled eggs....and thats it. The 3rd morning....nothing and they didn't bother making more coffee until I asked. And the coffee came out disgusting.....how do you mess that up? Other people sitting in the dining room thanked me for saying something and were just as disappointed with everything in that place. Also, the gym was under maintenance which apparently the entire property was being updated. However, there was ZERO transparency upon checking in about it, no information about a sister property guests can walk to to workout. The rudeness level, INSANE! NOBODY WORKING THERE CARES! Wyndham you should be ashamed!
- 2/5
The kitchen was not fully cooking. There was a bug in room. The spider web was on the wall. The service was bad.
- 2/5
No breakfast by 7am the excuse was a crew of workers finished it sll
- 3/5
The floor smelled urine. The shower did not work well. Breakfast was not great.
- 2/5
Building is old and there is no upkeep. Beds are clean but rooms are not. No amenities. Maybe one of the worse breakfasts I have had in a while.
- 1/5
Mind you, we were in town for my son’s oncology appointment, so this was not a good environment for him. Additionally, the pool and hot tub were not working, which was disappointing because my kids had been looking forward to using them.
- 2/5
While checking in, a young lady approached the front desk. She was visibly upset about seeing her 2nd room dirty. She took pictures. I encountered the same problem with my room. The associate was very apologetic. It wasn't her fault she was given the wrong information. My only complaint was only receiving one room key when I needed two. I was also disappointed at seeing the fitness center "Closed for Maintenance ".
- 3/5
Breakfast was blah, there was no fresh anything! I can say the room was clean and the bed was comfy.
- 4/5
Needed a quick layover while traveling. Location was convenient and clean.

- 1/5
Upon arrival the establishment looks ran down and haunted. No lights and very unwelcoming. Very dark in the lobby and throughout the hotel. Upon entering the room I immediately knew I wouldn’t be staying here. The floors were filthy, walls were stained, beds with crumbs and stains. I went straight to the front desk and asked for a refund and drove 2 hours back home.
- 1/5
The person at the lobby was very nice and professional. However the room 104 had a very stained carpet and the top of the window sill also had stains. The room did not smell nice even though it was a non smoking room. This room was not worth what I paid. I have stayed in much better hotels like the Drury in for less. Very dissatisfied with this hotel.
- 1/5
The room had roaches. I couldn’t sleep bc I was afraid they would crawl on me. I didn’t eat breakfast as well. I told the front desk but all she said was she’ll let them know. I’d like a refund.

It looked unsafe outside and the building smelled bad. Only slept one night of two. We went to other hotel.
