The room was good and very clean, AC worked very well maintaining the temperature. The staff was very helpful and nice when called on. Good breakfast too, a good stay and I would definitely stay again when I’m in the area.

I had just one cocktail. Benjamin, the bartender had a very heavy poor. I commented, well just keep tipping the bottle, and laughed. He did, then charged 52 bucks for ONE shot of Amaretto.

The hot breakfast was par for the course--scrambled eggs, tiny pancakes, fruit salad that seems always almost out.

The place was great. Near to places that we like to visit. The breakfast area is not very small but not that big and it can get very busy in the morning but we dont find it as an issue. We were able to get a table every morning without waiting. The staff are very helpful during our stay and I recommend this hotel for anyone who would like to explore Austin.

It wasn't the worst hotel, but I wouldn't choose to stay here again. The breakfast was good and was probably the highlight of our stay. However, we paid extra for an upgraded upper-level corner room and were initially assigned a room in the middle of the hallway. After returning from dinner, we found the hotel was uncomfortably warm, and the air conditioning in our room wasn't working. The front desk moved us to a corner room, but the A/C there wasn't working properly either until we figured out it had to be turned on using the wall vent instead of the thermostat. Once it was running, it was extremely loud, but we didn't want to go through the hassle of moving rooms a second time. It also took several phone calls to the front desk to sort everything out, and even that was frustrating because the room phone wouldn't connect to the front desk without dialing a special code that wasn't explained. Overall, while the staff did try to accommodate us, there were too many issues for the price we paid. I wouldn't recommend this hotel or stay here again. .

Nice room centrally located to most Austin attractions if you are driving. Clean rooms, friendly staff and hot breakfast served daily. Would definitely stay here again.

Pretty good stay. I wish they had a few more waffle makers. Just one makes it a very long wait. Otherwise everything else was fine.

The Hyatt Place in the Domain area of Austin , Texas was amazing. From the warm welcome at check in, to our check out, everyone from the manager to engineering staff were happy, helpful, professional and friendly. Our room was immaculate, nicely decorated and spacious. I have found very few edible hotel breakfasts, or decent coffee. This Hyatt had both! I was almost sad to go home. If you're going to Austin, give it a try. I can promise you won't regret it

Checked in with two kids under 3 & my husband for Father’s Day weekend. It was around 10pm and we had just drove for hours, expecting our hotel and room to be comfy and ready for us to sleep in. I requested a crib when I made the reservation, & when I reminded them at the front they said they’d bring one in right away. We get into the room and it’s extremely humid - the AC was not working. Fast forward another 30 minutes, at this point it’s almost midnight, my babies are crying, and no word from housekeeping regarding the crib. I go back up to the front to see what is happening and they inform me they only have THREE cribs for the whole entire building and that there are none available for us. It would’ve been nice if someone let us know this ASAP?! Extremely frustrating and disappointing, and to top it off the AC doesn’t work. Now here I am trying to make this work because my kids are extremely exhausted… I ask for an extra pillow and blanket… & she brings out a small duvet without the cover?! And tells me there are no pillows available. What the F. Anyone in my shoes would lose it!! I’m in tears at this point. I ask for a refund (which I’m still expecting) and we leave to find another hotel we can stay in that actually cares about our comfort and safety. I do not recommend this hotel especially for young children. Extremely disappointing and stressful. Will never come back.

The room was very spacious and the bed was perfect. Plenty of room to spread out. The breakfast was excellent too. I really cannot find anything wrong with this hotel.

Our stay was great. The room was clean as well as the hotel. My only complaint is the water pressure is not so good when taking a shower. The breakfast was also good with several great choices. I would definitely stay again at this hotel.

Breakfast menu was very adequate for a quick start. Something for everyone. Our party of 8 were all able to enjoy something that gave us a headstart for our days. We will be staying here when we return in June.

Second time I’ve stayed here. Good location to get where I needed to go. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is what I expected. It’s like other hotels that offer a free breakfast.

I had booked a room with King Bed but I got a Queen bed. Didn’t like the sink in the middle of the room. No privacy. No cutlery available at breakfast. We will not return

The managers are very friendly, putting away dirty plates and utensils and greeting the guests. The front desk staffs may not be as friendly. I link check in and out is very convenient. Breakfast is great and delicious, lots of options. They kept breakfast going on race day so runners (which are most of the guests) can return and eat a hot meal. That itself is the best experience. They did that in the past too. Front lobby has been recently renovated

Nice location for us although the area outside of this property is run down. I didn’t realize there was a very nice shopping center a few blocks behind this property in lll until I took a walk and happened upon it.

Including in the breakfast was cooked to order. Im a hyatt honor member, my eggs or pancakes ect are cooked to order when I stay at the Hyatt and that was what I was expecting. Instead mini buffet. Also the apple juice and OJ tasted like water.

Clean room, walk ability to the river walk and the Alamo. The room we had a walk in shower but the shower curtain was about 4-6 inches to short so water from the shower flowed onto the floor. Receptionist at the front desk was awesome and employees were nice.

Great location, we were able to easily travel all over the Austin area. Staff at front desk were friendly and very welcoming. Breakfast options were very satisfying. Coffee nice and strong.

Every single staff member was extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean and safe. Wide variety of breakfast options and the pool area was great also. Overall, a great experience and will definitely stay here again if in the Austin area!

Large suite that is roomy and the A/C is awesome! The hotel was under rennovation in the lobby when we were there, but the staff worked around it nicely. Would recommend.

Construction was occurring throughout our stay there. The construction started at 7 AM. This woke us up way earlier than we wanted to. We asked for a refund and they said they were going to contact Expedia to refund one room that we asked for our money to be returned to us. We do not believe that it was acceptable to start construction before 8 AM.

It was a good experience all around. Excellent hot breakfast, friendly and professional staff, clean and comfortable accommodations.

Upon arrival was the first notice that they were under remodeling construction. I was traveling alone and had to enter from the rear side of the building. It was not well lit at night and just seemed so unsafe. Check in was a pain and it was a makeshift reception area that was very confined. The breakfast wasn’t anything special, an available makeshift conference room was being utilized as the dining area. The construction was noisy, elevators were slow, the ice machine on my floor didn’t even work. Due to a flight change I asked for a late check out and was charged additional funds for one extra hour. Overall I was very disappointed. I’m not sure if things will change once the remodeling has been completed, but my visit left much to be desired. Would not recommend.

I stay here frequently for BOD meetings at Dave and Busters. The property is just across the street so it is very convenient.

This place is under construction so hopefully will improve. But as its stands today, it is not great and I would not recommend staying here. The hotel, including the rooms, are dated. The coffee maker in the room leaked and there are not many amenities beyond the mini fridge. They don’t even provide one single complimentary water. I couldn’t get the TV to cast so you’re stuck with the standard TV. And the breakfast is awful, sparse healthy options. Instant oatmeal, all with sugar. Even the yogurt options all have loaded sugar, no plain yogurt. Also gross runny eggs, cheap coffee, and sugar cereals. Gross! And the elevator is insanely slow. I recommend staying at a newer hotel down the road.
