Hyatt Place Austin Airport

Staff was great and made my stay a pleasant one. Also, although the hotel is near the airport, I never heard a plane or any airport noise. Would stay there again.

I had an easy check in, every one of the staff that I came into contact with was very friendly and helpful. My room was just right for what I needed, housekeeping did a great job o preparing it for my check in and I really appreciate the 24 hr shuttle, I had to utilize it twice in my stay. I also love the convenience of it’s proximity to the airport and Whataburger.

The hotel was clean and updated and close to airport and offered free shuttle services which was a plus and would definitely stay here again.

This is our go-to when traveling from home, primarily because the parking lot is available through way.com for long term parking and there is a dependable airport shuttle. The hotel is great. The food is good (surprisingly good). Food service is, however, fair at best -- they seem not to know how to deal with the restaurant and bar area. There is also a Whataburger across the street -- but that is it; no other eateries outside of the airport terminal.

Shuttle service to the airport was so helpful. Staff was absolutely above and beyond. Super attentive and kind. It was quiet and relaxed such a change from the loud busy airport!

Good start clean room nice staff

I did not appreciate the AM desk person’s response when I asked him to turn one of the breakfast area TVs to the news. He replied under his breath, “Not Fox News.”

The staff here is always amazing, they always make us feel welcome and help us anyway they can. Anytime we fly out we stay at this Hyatt. It’s spotless close to the airport and again the staff is amazing.

I'm always pleased to come to this Hotel and find the staff pleasant, the Lobby and hallways spotless and the rooms clean. I always ask for the 4th floor and I get it. The breakfast is delicious and the kitchen staff helpful. I've been staying at this particular hotel for over 2 years now and each time I stay, it only gets better.

The room and lobby were very clean. The staff was so nice! Great breakfast and so convenient since we were stranded due to a flight delay. It was so accommodating and we felt so comfortable there.

The only aspect that was surprising was there was no microwave in the rooms but, was a single microwave when you got off yhe elevator! Now that's inexcusable!

Nice place but it has very heavy doors. I went to use the restroom before checking in and I at first I thought the door was locked. Don't be afraid to stay there ,but be ready for some really heavy doors.

everything was fantastic. our friend lost her wallet on the plane and the drive of the shuttle took her back the next morning to get her wallet back with the airline had found on the plane.

Staff was very pleasant and helpful. The shuttle availability to the airport was very convenient. Would recommend that the shuttle driver try and pack bags for guests who have oversized and numerous bags first after crew bags so that those guests with only one bag do not have to wait for the entire luggage compartment be unpacked before receiving their bags.

Calling to see if I could get checked in sooner was annoying because couldnt talk to live person and AI attendant said no. Fortunately, walking in and talking to real human had better results. They were very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and comfortable. Everything worked fine. The only thing is nobody every clean the room while I was staying. The other irritating thing was Expedia did not tell me I had to pay $16 per day to park here. Its an Airport Hotel and they shoukd know visitors will be renting a car from the airport also to exploy Austin and too far to feasible only use Uber. So seemed pretty predatory. They apologized but didn't offer to get a manager or make an exception. They just said if I got a Hotel in town the parking was free. But that seems opposite. Because if I'm in heart of Austin I wouldn't have needed a rental car or wouldve used Uber. So this Hotel was cheaper until you factor in the parking fees.

Charging for parking was a disappointment

The parking lot was almost completely full. I noticed they had one small area for handicap parking, which I needed. I had to park a long ways from the entrance. Then I was told I had to go back out to my truck to hang a parking permit or my truck would be towed away. I did not like that or understand it....you have a gate you have to go through...they control who goes in and out yet I still have to now walk a long distance with my luggage, to go put this permit on my truck. The shower took forever to warm up, and the ac was so loud I finally just got up and turned it off around midnight. I don't recommend this place especially if you require handicap parking.

Breakfast was okay, not many options to choose from. The rooms were clean. Airport shuttle was excellent, As soon as we were near the door to exit. I called Hyatt to see if they can send someone to pick us up and the person was literally outside.The gentleman was very nice. We got to the hotel pretty quick I give them a 10 out of 10. I forgot to mention. There was a gentlemen that served us some lunch and wine. I don't remember his name. He provided us with impeccable service. I wouls definitely stay here again.

Disappointed a single bottle of water was not in the room nor offered at check-in. When I inquired, I was told only comp for members- membership was not offered.

It was a great one night stay.

The only downside was that the check-in process took longer than expected, especially considering there was only one person ahead of us. Aside from that, everything was wonderful, and we would definitely stay here again!

Clean room, great staff, accommodated down/feather allergy and provided a hypoallergenic room. Not soundproof though-we could hear the early morning departures from the airport, which is within sight of the hotel. Great for the price. Would stay here again.
