Hyatt House Austin/Downtown

Staff was friendly and the room was great. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hot breakfast was a nice bonus.

Staff is always courteous and attentive.

This Is, a perfect hotel to stay at, offers everything within walking distance.

The staff was really kind and helpful, the location is amazing, right in downtown!

I had a great time in this amazing establishment.

The AC was out in the lobby so the breakfast was uncomfortably warm. No option for self park only Valet for $45. Next night we were moved to a queen suite. Better condition but window opened to a view of the building wall 10 feet away! no compensation offered for the booking downgrade the first night and as a bonus we got moved to a suite with no view! However the beds were decent. the pool and workout area were token efforts and worth a miss. Breakfast stayed open to 945 and was ok for quality.

Just down the street from downtown everything was walking distance during my stay, wish the water pressure was a little better in my shower though

Clean room, friendly staff, and a very good breakfast with a great variety of fresh sliced fruits, turkey bacon, sausage, oatmeal, and many other options. Other than the expensive parking, everything else was great.

My daughter and I had a great experience while we stayed at the hotel. Friendly staff and Although the room initially given was not ready and had a maintenance cart parked inside the room, once I told the front desk and he gave me different room without additional charge. The kitchennette comes with a bottle opener, def can’t go wrong with their thoughtful customer service. And the location is close to downtown and the new Waterloo park. I will definitely rebook Hyatt House in Austin again

The room was clean, the staff as great, breakfast was amazing, but the only thing wrong would be the ac was out in the lobby area which made check in and breakfast a little uncomfortable.

I really enjoyed my stay, the room was very comfortable and in fact, it was great as it had many kitchen amenities on a small scale. I slept well. The hall was quiet and I didn’t hear people above me. Valet service was marvelous, and the staff was very helpful.

Hotel was great, the room was huge, clean and comfortable. Staff was very welcoming and kind and I was offered a free late checkout which worked great for me. Great central location. Breakfast needs some improvements.

No ac in the lobby

Just stayed for a night, but great customer service and clean hotel! Close to UT campus and Moody Center, would stay here again.

=A/C was out in common areas and outdoor temp was 102 F =Elevators not sufficient- wait time to ride elevators was not acceptable. =Room Refrigerator was leaking water and defrosted due the 'master switch' being turned off which cause wet area near refrigerator and food to spoil before it could cool down. Nothing terrible but you asked for feedback and we have choices when choosing hotels.

Damian and Shav/shaj (I'm so bad with names) were super sweet and nice. Made my brothers first time in Austin amazing and was sweet enough to accommodate to our needs, especially letting us check in early! We drive from out of town and arrived 3 hours early. Highkey recommend to stay I will come back

Staff was great. Breakfast was terrific. Room was adequate. Hotel was located one building away from some sort of shelter and the noise level was not good. Also the fridge made noises all night long.

The room was spacious and well kept by cleaning staff. Unfortunately, the A/C went out on the first floor. It wasn’t unbearable, but it was a bit warm.

Parking at this hotel is $45 a night, which is about 1/3 of the cost of the hotel room. The rate of parking should be listed. I expect some parking fees downtown but did not expect $45.

The AC in the lobby and Gym wasn’t working!

The staff was great. We loved the hotel we had a great time. The only downside its the parking you have to valet or do self parking but you have to pay overtime you exit the hotel

The room was clean, complimentary water would have been nice. There is valet parking on the property that costs $45. The pools cleanliness is questionable. Breakfast was decent and standard set up.

3 streets down from 6th and 8 minute drive from the capitol

Damien at the front desk was super helpful and his customer service is outstanding! Valet was absolutely fantastic, got my vehicle to me quickly, every time. And the breakfast!!! Beautiful and tasteful spread! 11/10 would highly recommend and would stay again!

From check in through the rest of our stay, the service was excellent and the atmosphere made us feel genuinely welcomed. If there’s a place you want to arrive at after a long road trip and immediately feel comfortable and taken care of, this is it. I would absolutely stay here again whenever I’m in Austin.

I like the concept of the Hyatt house. If you need, you have a little kitchenette, refrigerator, microwave, and everything else you need that will tie you over for a few days. The hotel had some air-conditioning problems in the lobby while I was there. But they were quick to come up with temporary solutions. The location is convenient enough to reach downtown restaurants and bars. It is very close to the state capital, you can easily walk from the hotel to the capital.

Next time we will book this hotel again.

Excellent location, we hired scooters from outside hotel to see places around us, it was 15 mins to the lady bird park n bat site bridge.Also, lots of dining options and food trucks around this area.Room was spacious, clean and comfortable.in the king suite, kitchen had most of appliances and all the kitchen dishes m cutlery needed.Ample of meter parking was available on the roadside.breakfast was good, they had good mix of veg n non veg hot meals. The staff is so positive, friendly and helpful! The breakfast was lovely and they even have organic tea and oat milk. My shower leaked and room could have been a bit cleaner when I checked in but overall it was perfect for my work trip. I appreciate the fridge and microwave

This was our first time staying at Hyatt House and it was wonderful. The room was more like an efficiency apartment than a hotel. It had a full kitchen with a stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot and dishes, cookware and utensils. Everything you need right there. There was also a full sized sofa and large island that could be used as a table or desk. The bed was super comfy and the shower was huge. The hotel was super clean and the staff was wonderful (particularly Surgio). The location is also very convenient. Best included breakfast I have ever had a hotel. Great bang for the buck in every way.

He went above and beyond to help me. The only negative was hotel was a lot further from Palmer Event Center, when I booked and did research I thought it was closer. $20 taxi ride because Uber canceled 3 times so I had to take taxi. Damien is the best!!!

Stayed for a quick weekend trip with my family of 5. Location was great — lots of activities within walking distance or short drive. It’s always hard finding a good size room for 5 (3 kids) and this one had enough bed/ space for everyone. Will definitely stay again.

My family loved our stay. Honestly I didn’t read much when booking but the hotel exceeded our over all expectations. The room was huge. Even had a kitchen with an island! Very spacious for my large family. The sofa bed was also larger than expected. Morning breakfast was great as well as valet. The main lobby floor seemed to have a small AC issue that was being taken care of because they had ac units through the lobby for comfort. Really close to everything downtown. Because I have a large family I think I’ve found a new love hotel!

Room was very clean and staff extremely nice!

Nice location and don’t feel unsafe near hotel. Staff working breakfast were great and constantly hustling. Receptionist who checked us in was also great. AC in lobby not working and AC on 9th floor was non existent other than bi-product of room AC. 9th floor was the highest floor so maybe the lower ones were better. Breakfast could use some TLC. Pancakes were hard and fruit wasn’t very ripe.

Great hotel! Only issue was the AC was out in the lobby so it was hot. Even though they had a bunch of portable AC. They didn't seem to be working and they were noisy and in the way. Other than that, it was amazing. Would definitely stay there again.

So , I booked hotel online and regretted it. The room was moldy and the air conditioning made my allergies act up. Air vents need to be cleaned. Shower needs to be retiled and re caulked. Not a fan of the carpet nor the mildew growing in the corners of the shower.

The location was perfect. Few blocks from 6th street but far enough to where it wasn’t too rowdy at night. Staff was great and hotel was very clean and well maintained and updated. Didn’t get the chance to enjoy breakfast there but looked good. Would recommend for anyone visiting Austin.

I don’t typically leave reviews, but I had to give this hotel props because we received such great service and true level of care. Amelie and the rest of the front desk staff were so friendly, hospitable and truly value customer service. I would 1000% choose to stay here again.

Very positive atmosphere!

The wings were undercooked at yhe bar in the lobby. There was a lot of nighttime noise. No parking unless using valet at $45 a night or use street parking. Otherwise it was a nice place to stay overnight.

This hotel was amazing very clean. The staff was friendly and amazing breakfast.

While it was difficult to navigate through several construction zones on streets leading to the Hyatt House in Austin, it was well worth it once we arrived! Upon arrival we were greeted by a true professional and very welcoming Sergio D. who checked us in with ease and honored our request for a room with a view! All of the staff members we encountered at this location were also incredibly kind. The room was clean, well maintained, and our bed offered a great night‘s sleep! While the complimentary breakfast provided was plentiful and filling, there were also many health conscious options available too! The convenience of the valet service which offers in and out access to your vehicle throughout the day and evening was also a real treat for us and could be accessed through an app on your phone! When it was finally time to check out, the front desk assistant Damien Q. was extremely hospitable! He offered directions to our destination and invited us back for another stay in the future!

Got in late and needed a decent place to stay for the night. The room was actually a lot nicer in person than expected and the guys at the front were really inviting. My only heads up would be that, it is located near a pretty loud bar/club at the end of the block behind the property so if you’re expecting a quiet place at night before 2am, you may want to look elsewhere as it was quite loud with the bass from their speakers, can’t lie. But I got back to my room after 2am and it was super quiet. It’s basically a small apartment as it comes with appliances such a mini fridge, microwave and a stove top if I can remember correctly which was super convenient. Def would stay here again for sure.

Breakfast was lacking

Paper thin walls, no sleep as drag racing on streets from 12-2 am. Not hotels fault but still impossible to sleep. Too far from anything if on foot. This is not dt. Filled with crack heads and homeless

Nice hotel and location Worth the price

Valet were prompt, the Bar was open with good drinks, the breakfast was amazing. It actually was a really surprisingly pleasant stay. I say surprising because I booked the wrong hotel. I thought it was a different Hyatt in a different location and this was kind of off the beaten path from the places that we needed to go, but I was surprisingly very happy with my choice👍🌟

The hotel was clean and lovely from the lobby to the bathrooms. The staff were helpful, kind and attentive. Our room was comfortable, everything was clean and large enough to accommodate our entire family. The kitchen space was a really great bonus. I also felt really safe as all the elevators were only accessible if you had a room key. The breakfast was also very good. This is an excellent place to stay with your family while visiting Austin.
