We loved this place!!! We will be coming back here when we are in Austin. The staff was amazing. The food and drinks were excellent. We enjoyed the pool and it was close to some of our favorite restaurants.

This is the very definition of a “Boutique Hotel”. Everything about it is special; the design, the grounds, the vibe. It’s all sensational. Yes, it’s expensive. However, it’s hard to put a price on tranquil luxury in the center of Austin. Instead of a hotel pool with 75 people swimming in human soup, you get the most idyllic pool with maybe one or two other guests. Instead of jockeying for a spot at the bar, you get a lounge with a bartender who pays attention to you. This place is special, and we’ll be back for sure.

We've stayed at the St. Cecilia twice and both times we've found the grounds, the rooms, the various facilities (pool, parking, kitchen, bar) were perfect. It's located near the cool stuff on S. Congress but a block away from the noise and is so very quiet and relaxing. The vegetation is lush, the wrought iron gates and lighting at night is very charming. The rooms are so unique. This will never feel like a "hotel" but rather some boutique mansion in the city.

Everything was impeccable and the property was stunning. They made the most incredible Beef Steak Tartare (double Yummy) and they customized a non alcoholic drink for me...he even supersized it...I can't recall the barmen's names but they were both very accommodating. I tried a white hot tea for the first time and I am hooked! Pool was very nice. I had 2 different rooms and both exceeded expectations. Lots of nearby shops, dining, gyms and plenty of parking. The bed was ultra cozy and my balcony overlooking the city was a pleasant surprise. I will try to upload photos later. It was a walkup (no elevator) but the staff immediately assisted with my suitcase. I would have liked to extend but I had to fly out again. Apart from that absolutely - No complaints. I will be sure to return. It is a special place.

Hotel Saint Ceclia is a beautiful hotel in the heart of the South Congress Ave shopping and restaurant district in Austin. The property is adorned with old oaks and English ivy that makes the grounds, restaurant, bar, and pool area feel very secluded. Our pool side cabana (No.11) was neat as a pin, spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The entire property has a 50s/60s cool vibe that isn’t contrived or pretentious. More like a throwback to Austin before Austin was discovered by the rest of the world. We relaxed, had some boozy cocktails, delicious meals, and a great time. Our new favorite Austin hotel.

That said, the air conditioner in our room wasn’t cooling properly, and the temperature never dropped below 74 degrees, which made it uncomfortable at times. Also, the bartender had a bit of frantic energy and the espresso martini unfortunately missed the mark. Overall, a lovely property with great food, but a few service and comfort issues kept it from being a perfect stay.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. Loved everything. Only complaint is that the pool was too cold. It didn’t stop me from swimming but it would have been much more enjoyable if warm. Other than that, the hotel was amazing and we will definitely be back!

Everything. The pool, the lounge, the grounds. Our studio room was so cool and cozy. The record player and vintage couch were a nice touch. Gorgeous spacious bathroom and a comfy bed. The staff was incredible, we felt comfortable and taken care of. Couldn’t have been better. It didn’t affect us, but climbing stone stairs with luggage could be a struggle for some! I’m sure accommodations can be made for those unable to carry bags up the steps.

Austin is known for being quirky and this hotel is. Location is superb; right off Congress. Perla is up one block. We had drinks served poolside one afternoon. Drinks were delicious and being able to sit under a covered arbor in the shade was wonderful, given Austin’s warm temperatures this time of year. Lovely, large room with seating area and bar/sink. Would definitely stay here again!

Relaxed vibe, very boutique feel with gorgeous decor everywhere..24 hr access to pool. Record player. Staff were super friendly and went above and beyond. Grounds felt really private and well maintained. Free parking. We stayed in 2 different rooms, both were lovely but preferred the pool bungalow for privacy and space. I can see why celebs choose to stay here. We wished we could stay longer but it was fully booked so they helped us book their sister hotel next door (Magdelena) which was also cute decor wise, great brekky & staff etc but had a lot of guests and was more rowdy and less personal than St Cecilia’s. Big shout out to Tara who looked after us, extended our stay and made sure a pregnancy pillow and heavy bags were sorted out ☺️ Almost everything was perfect but sadly the food/cafe needs work. Everything we had was overly salted, even the butter for croissants had like a teaspoon of salt on top. Sadly the morning coffee was either incorrect or awful everytime. There was 0 consistency. A flat white is not filtered coffee with a dash of milk. They always seemed to forget sugar. A trained barista and a chef who is not so heavy handed on the salt would step things up a level.
