The hotel had no hot water. The shower floor had a big crack in it and there was mold and rust on the vent in the bathroom. The garage was very difficult to navigate with the Holiday Inn next door.

Great location too, we walked to dinner everyday. Amazing restaurants around such as Eddy B’s and Drisckell Grill. Thanks Team Hotel Indigo
- 4/5
The amenities are great, rooms are good, staff are good for the most part, but had to ask numerous times to get the hot water fixed in my room. Also felt they prioritized a pool party that was mostly attended by non guests, over the guests of their hotel.

$50 for overnight parking is slightly insane, especially with broken facilities Parking fees
- 5/5
Room 718 requires maintenance on the shower, water seeps out due to improper sealing and the edge is broken so water also seeps out there. Above that the floors in the restroom are coming off. Overall staff did a good job keeping it clean, give them a raise.
- 2/5
I honestly considered asking for a refund, but by that point, it was too late into my stay. Overall, I was disappointed with the experience, especially compared to the LA location, which I really enjoyed.
- 3.5/5
Great!
- 4/5
Everything was amazing and would have gave a 5 stars except the walls were paper thin and it sound like maybe the room was next to where the cleaning crew/storage room was so I didnt sleep well
- 2/5
The room was clean. Pool area was nice. Only bad thing I have to say about this hotel is that the air conditioner in the lobby wasn’t working and the front desk worker rebecca was treating not only myself but other hotel guest horribly. I have a disabled sister that needed assistance and she just gave me a hard time with everything. Other than that, the front desk workers the next day we’re extremely helpful.
- 3/5
No hot water during the stay. Better the second day but still not good.
- 4/5
Staff are amazing! Love the pool. The only complaints I have is that dirty clothes were left in my restroom from the previous stay. And food was left in my fridge which made the room smell like onions upon arrival.
- 3/5
No hot water for 3 days... they reimbursed me for 1 day but it was still very inconvenient. Also, hallway has master switch, so if it's off - light in bathroom does not work. Being informed of this at check-in would have been helpful so I wouldn't have to be trying to shower in cold water... in the dark 😫

I had stayed at an Indigo once in Nashville and a Kimpton in Denver. Based on those excellent stays, I decided to stay in Austin's Indigo. This hotel did not disappoint. In fact, it surpassed my expectations. The room was spacious and so was the bathroom and shower. I loved the swimming pool and view. The location was convenient and easy to get to all the major attractions. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. The nearby neighborhood restaurants were all great. The king sized bed was very plush and comfortable. The chairs in the room were also high quality and comfortable. The big bonus was the Lavazza espresso machine. This is one of my favorite coffees! I will definitely stay at an Indigo again because it offers high quality accommodations at a great value!
- 2.5/5
The location No parking, the AC was broken in the lobby, the rooms were nothing spectacular for a fairly high nightly rate, the pool hours are only until 10, the pool is not on the roof of the building, it’s a little misleading.

Had a great stay. Location on Red River is very good for live music and a pretty short walk to 6th Street and Congress Ave. Don't skip the breakfast tacos with chorizo - I had them both mornings I was there and wish I could get them at home. Wait staff at the restaurant couldn't have been nicer.

Great hotel and location next 6th Street.
- 3/5
Treadmills on gym are bad Staff not very friendly/helpful Common areas are shared with holiday in express with a much more party-oriented crowd. Lobby bar open very limited hours
- 4/5
Good value for money overall. Unfortunately, the lady on the overnight reception was quite rude and unwelcoming, which detracted from the experience. Aside from that, everything else was good.
- 4.5/5
Very basic It was confusing to get into the hotel from the carport with two hotels using the carparks
- 5/5
Was nice fun located hotel close to all the fun
- 3/5
There were a few things that we had to address with the staff, first they offered the option to add add-ons to my reservation, I placed an order for chocolate covered strawberries. When we arrived they were not there, I called front desk they apologized and had no idea of the add-on. I asked them to bring it later so when we returned after dinner. We returned an hour early so I called to ask for plates and silverware with the delivery. They arrived an hour and half after with no napkins, silverware or plates. Just not good with the details. The phone to the room stopped working which is a security risk. We had issues calling in and out. The remote stopped working and the TVs are outdated (bring your fire stick, apply tv, etc,.) and the door to the shower did not close all the way. We had three ppl shower and so much water on the floor. They finally addressed these issues while we were in the room, slight interruption for us but overall the location was good. We got to walk to Hoboken Pie at night.
- 2/5
Terrible place in general.
- 5/5
My favorite staff was Matthew, Kiran, and Carl. They all made our stay special and memorable! My friend and I were celebrating multiple things like her just getting married, our birthdays, and also in town for the Ariana Grande concert! It was my friend’s first time in ATX. We were offered drink vouchers to celebrate! Kiran and Carl were nice with check-in/out and recommendations for restaurants as well as great feedback on the concert venue! I tried to use the business center to print something last minute for the concert and it wasn’t connecting and I was able to go to the front desk and print which was nice! I will 1000% be recommending this place to anyone I know!
- 4/5
Be prepared to pay for parking, there is no free parking
- 2/5
The A/C in the lobby was broken. It was very hot. The room a/c worked and got cold but did not seem to remove the moisture from the air. The floor was sticky. The room had noise generator in it and ear plugs because of the loud music from a club. It did not bother us we were on the 7th floor. The parking is stupid. We were there on a weekend. The valet is about $50. The parking outside lots are tricky because they only allow 12 hour slots so it costs almost $60 to park overnight. The parking garage charges per 15 minute increments. There is no way out you will pay. The garage was empty too.
- 4/5
Pool bar drinks well over priced.
- 1/5
My stay here was genuinely disappointing. The bottom floor had no air conditioning, and when I got to my room, the AC wasn’t working there either. Maintenance was unable to resolve the issue. After switching rooms multiple times — four attempts in total — we finally found one with functioning air. While the room itself was clean, the property overall showed significant signs of age and neglect. The shower was in unacceptable condition. Given the gap between how this hotel presents itself and the reality of the experience, I can’t recommend it and won’t be returning.
- 4/5
Overall Clean. Staff were friendly but not very helpful. We had to carry our luggage from car to the elevator and to the room because there was no available trolly.
- 5/5
Great hotel. Highly recommended.

- 5/5
Perfect location. Everything that we wanted to do was 10-15 minutes away.
- 4/5
The hotel is very conveniently located but the parking is a little tricky to find as it shares a garage with the Holiday Inn Express but its not clearly marked. Everything was clean but felt just very slightly damp but thats Austin humidity for you. Friendly staff. We didn't have issues and were not displeased but probably will try a different hotel next time.
- 5/5
the staff were so kind & always available when needed, had no issues with noise or no complaints about the management. Enjoyed my stay, would definitely do it again

One parking garage for two hotels and mediocre signage. Holiday Inn parking garage signage for Hotel Indigo. Understanding that the Hotel Indigo lobby is on -4 level was very confusing. AC in lobby struggled to keep up with door open/close.

On Saturday there was a man at the pool pestering all of the woman. At some point a group of young women went and complained. A man that was setting up for the hotel dj party moved him to the bar because he could not get him to leave and then the bartender chased him into the holiday inn. It was like no one wanted to deal with him but it definitely killed the vibe. The dj party started at 4. If I was a family staying at this hotel I would have been furious. There were people smoking pot, parts of women's bodies I didn't need to see, grossly inappropriate dancing on items and each other. The next day there were cigarette butts, lime pieces and bits of peoples weaves all around the pool and hair in the pool. It was disgusting The room itself was just okay. The pleather headboard was all scratched up, stains on the carpet. The ice and vending machines on our floor didn't work.
- 4/5
It was ok. I thought it would be more modern by the pictures. There is no market to buy sodas and snacks to have in the room on sight. There is a small fridge when you check in but it had one option. Also, we had to pay for coffee. This hotel is also connected to a Holiday Inn.
- 2/5
I have a list. First for the things that didn't work: rm phone, lights in bathroom, hairdryer, cover to the ac. Missing: microwave, luggage carts, help with anything, food, room service. Do not come hungry. The restaurant and bar are ALWAYS closed. The only way you are getting food and drink is delivery. If you are at the 3ft high pool you better bring your own snacks and drinks. Grab some towels at the pool because they dont bring clean ones to your room. Carpet is old and dirty. You will wait 30-45 for vallet. They lost our car and key. Don't order the sweet treat tray it is old and hard. Probably because they got it at Walmart because restaurant is always closed. Pool closes at 10. Had to call three times to get broken hair dryer replaced from my cell because room phone was broken. They didn't take out our trash or replace the towels. Front desk is understaffed. There is no breakfast! Not even one of those waffle makers. No coffee. No one killed us and we did not see bugs those are the positives.
- 5/5
The ice machine on our floor was not working.
- 0.5/5
Was not able to enjoy the stay due to adult party
- 4/5
Check in was easy, staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and ready when we arrived. I self parked in the connected garage, very easy and convenient. Very comfortable bed and pillows. We did try to eat dinner one night, but the music in the restaurant/bar was very loud so we decided to go elsewhere. There was also very loud music at night which I believe was actually coming from a nearby bar and not within the actual hotel. But our stay was on a Friday-Saturday night so it may not be like that during the week, and we were in a room on the end of the building. Overall, I would stay here again.

Was not able to enjoy the stay due to adult party
- 3/5
When we would step on the tiles in the bathroom, water would squirt out from between the tiles and leave puddles on the floor. Otherwise, stay was good and we enjoyed the amenities and clean room.
- 3/5
Location is close walking distance to stuff but a sketch neighborhood. Lots of homeless. Hotel room had a stench. First night the club across the street Charlie’s was very loud until at least 3am. The shower head was a slow drip until we reached out to staff after a couple days. AC sounded like a jet on the tarmac. Asked for housekeeping and they never showed after about 8 hrs when I asked again for at least clean towels. Hotel pool was closed one day and I’m wondering if it’s because of all the bleach and antibacterial I saw the pool man dumping in the pool then telling people and their kids they could swim after 10 mins….. hotel bartender Jessica & the friendly doorman was the highlight!!!!
- 5/5
Love the place
- 4/5
The bed was comfortable and the location was fairly convenient. The pool was closed and the laundry machines didn’t work. Luckily, the guy at the front desk arranged for someone to clean our laundry, which saved my review. The cleaning staff were wonderful and very helpful. The a/c was obnoxiously loud. We had to go next door to the Holiday Inn to get coffee in the morning, which was inconvenient and strange since Indigo is supposed to be a step up from Holiday Inn.
- 3/5
For the cost I expected a lot better from the property. In short, the price is for the location. Rooms were average at best (comfort of bed, broken ice machine, no coffee in the room, towels were like sand paper, view was inner city concrete and construction, pool was shared with the Hoilday Inn Express attached to the same bldg). Parking was a joke, oh and someone tried to add their car to my parking app account to park in this hotels parking garage days after we left the property and charge us for it. Pretty convenient that it happened to be in this Hotels garage.
- 4/5
Very good
- 3/5
Many amenities were not up to Snuff. Multiple treadmills did not work and the one that I was on completely shut down when I was running 9 miles an hour. The front door for the indigo was pretty ridiculous
- 5/5
The bartender at the pool was the BEST, but the Valet guys outside were a close second. Great location, people, vibe, everything. Will be back for sure.
- 3/5
I really liked the location as it was literally next door to the music venue. Unfortunately I felt a bit misled as the hotel houses both the Indigo and Holiday Inn Express. I confirmed while checking in at the Indigo computer that the rates are also cheaper for the Holiday Inn Express side. The corridors and rooms were a bit dated. Our AC was really loud and the shower. The toilet seat was not properly installed and head kept falling off the wall
- 1/5
Pool was ok
- 1/5
Expensive parking for the hotel, room had maintenance issues.
- 4/5
Overall a good experience. The only inconvenience was that the hot water in the shower took forever to warm up. Other than that everything was lovely.
- 5/5
Hotel is perfectly situated in Austin. Moody center and lady bird lake are within a 15 minute walk from the hotel. Staff was awesome.
- 1/5
You have to wait more than 15min to get hot water …
- 3/5
The room was clean and comfortable but the check in process and parking is an absolute MESS! They do not offer any sort of parking for hotel guest besides a day pass of $49.95 per day or you can do by the 20 mins in the garage and street parking. Upon check in I had an issue come up with my payment and the desk was not kind or understanding at all and was very rude. Breakfast was decent for the vouchers i purchased ahead of time but other than a clean room and good breakfast I truly don’t know if i would stay here again because of the parking and the staff being rude.

We loved it and staff us the best
- 4/5
Great location. Friendly staff. Shout out to Aaliyah and Kristina. My only complaint was a loom shower on the first night.
- 3/5
The room was dingy with a large water stain in the bathroom, stains on the curtains, and peeling caulk in the bathroom. I’ve stayed at other Indigo’s in the US and abroad and enjoyed them. I don’t know that I will again.
- 2/5
This ain’t the standard of any Indigo we’ve stayed in before. Just a standard hotel with boring rooms. Noisy gig venue across the road, but clean & friendly.

- 4/5
Great location if you want to be within walking distance of the moody center and several bars/clubs.

Overall a good place to stay. Great location, clean, nice amenities and atmosphere.

Staff very friendly

Liked the pool
- 2/5
The floor was sticky and needed to be cleaned. The carpet seemed damp and smelled of mildew. Had to get up early for a flight and no hot water at 4am. Will not stay here again.
- 5/5
Clean room, helpful staff, nice view of downtown from pool area, in walking distance of fun things to do
- 3/5
Everything was ok apart for overcharging me for my room
- 2/5
Very disappointed with our stay. Housekeeping woke us up at 8:13 2nd day. There were no USB accessible places in the room for charging. Kitchen was missing staple ingredients. Could not get connected to wifi without having to go to the front desk, whose staff was short and rude. This was our first stay at an Indigo and I will steer clear in the future
- 3/5
The staff were excellent but the property let them down. Had to run the shower for more than 40 minutes to use it for the first 3 days of my stay, only came good the last day. Pool was not clean. There was a staff snafu with our check in but they fixed it quickly and were really nice to deal with.
- 5/5
Kristine the bartender was very helpful.

Worst stay in Austin that I’ve ever had!

Property was fine, don’t know that I would choose again. Best thing about it was the staff.
- 4/5
Good
- 5/5
All of the staff was amazing, especially Daniel and Kass! Thank you for everything!
- 1/5
The room had a loud AC unit (very loud) and was equipped with ear plugs on the nightstand. The bar right outside the window was blasting music well past midnight. Even with the ear plugs, I had to have two pillows over my head to dull the sound from the AC unit and the bar. The shower door would not stay closed, the shower would not turn off completely - it just kept going around instead of stopping, like a normal shower would. On site parking was ridiculously expensive - $60 for valet or $50 for self-parking in the garage. If you want to actually get some rest, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. For the cost of the room (over $200 for one night), the cost of parking, the shoddy shower, and all the noise, I felt totally ripped off. I will not be going back.
- 3/5
Breakfast was good, service slow despite not being overly crowded
- 4/5
The property and pool area were very attractive. The vibe was funky crossed with mid century mod. The rooms were clean and cute. Our only problem was the very loud music from the club on one side of the hotel. The hotel did provide ear plugs and a white noise machine but they did not do the trick for me. When we changed to a room on the other side of the hotel, it was very quiet at night.
- 4/5
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is off the beaten path. Don’t walk home alone. The headboard in our room needs replacing. See photo. The bat them wall paper was very cute. The large in room fridge was great. The ice machines did not work on every floor.
- 4/5
We had 2 rooms for 4 people. Check in was easy. The a/c in one room didn’t work so we had to change rooms. The a/c was very loud
- 5/5
Exceptionally clean room
- 5/5
I went for a girls trip and we absolutely loved the hotel! It was perfect for us with comfortable rooms & beds, clean shower and good water pressure, espresso machine in the room & fridge. The breakfast was delicious each morning and made to order. We tried out the pool & it was beautiful on top of the roof with comfy seating. It was not heated but that was okay as we warmed up quickly.
- 4/5
The hotel is a bit pricy. But it s comfortable. The parking is $45/day. But my understanding everywhere is just like that. No water in the room but coffee is complementary in each room. Rebecca in the evening was very kind. She was very helpful. Very important. no breakfast included.
- 5/5
Great customer service
- 5/5
We had a great stay here. The hotel was clean and the staff were great. Parking in the attached garage was convenient and the rooftop pool was a great place to relax.
- 5/5
Perfect location, walking distance from 6th
- 3/5
The air conditioning in the room was incredibly noisy. It was like sleeping in a construction zone. There is also a lot of noise from the bars outside on the weekends which is more to be expected.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Lots of noise during SXSW so be prepared. Room super comfy and cleaned daily. Free breakfast with my room. Great staff
- 2/5
The hotel didn’t really feel clean. It also needs to be updated. What’s crazy is that they charge $60 a night for parking but there’s plenty of parking right in front of the hotel and across the street for two dollars or less. If it’s after six it’s free.
- 3/5
Room was okay
- 5/5
Amazing
- 5/5
I love this hotel I always love hotel indigo’s but this one was especially nice at a restaurant. We watched comedy show. They had snacks. The staff from inside to the doorman and I don’t know the doorman‘s name that was there but he was awesome. We were like if he treats everybody like this he’s an outstanding human being. The hotel was fantastic location easy to get in and out of the rooms were wonderful. It was just great. I would stay there again and again if I go to Austin.
- 5/5
Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The pillows were great too. Only downside? The cost to park but that’s Austin for you.
- 4/5
Very loud band playing right next door on weekends. The hotel provided earplugs but the band was so loud. There was no way to cover up the noise.
- 4/5
Front desk and restaurant team were super. I stay here regularly and appreciate the consistency, location and value for my needs. Well done!
- 4/5
Convenient walking location. Parking a bit confusing as two hotels used the same garage
- 2/5
Didnt come to refresh our rooms until the last day- at night, when we check out at 4 am. Toilet had a legit leak on the seal connecting to the ground. The AC has a legit hole in it to the outside. Makes a noisey area, ridiculous. Wont be back.
- 5/5
Great stay! Friendly staff, good area just outside of downtown!
- 1/5
It's clearly a renovated old Holiday Inn or something. The shower head was broken and calcified beyond repair, hot water was inconsistent, there were 5 food options for dinner, all bad. My sink had a leak that had clearly gone neglected. The staff was kind, but it's hard to make up for such shortcomings in quality.
- 3/5
Lots of things not working well during our stay, including clogged shower head, toilet chain that kept breaking, Also, on the south side of the building is an open air night club that plays loud music at night, so we had to move rooms to the other side of the hotel to avoid that after our first unpleasant night. Staff was kind and receptive.
- 5/5
Clean and friendly atmosphere
- 3/5
No hot water on last morning.
