3rd time staying here and it’s always consistent and friendly staff

Excelente hotel! Muy limpio, los cuartos muy amplios y cómodos. Definitivamente me vuelvo a quedar en ese hotel.

I had a good night. I came in town for a last-minute vacation and needed somewhere quick to stay. I was able to check in around eight and the people at the front desk were kind and always asked if there’s anything they could do to help.

Bathroom has an uncomfortable bad odor. We asked cleaning staff to leave additional towels and didn’t. The room was not completely clean. It did smell fresh.

Arrived room was not clean: food on floor in main area and bathroom, sheets not clean. Contacted the desk and we were moved to another room. Breakfast selection was wonderful with a variety of hot and cold items.

The hotel was very clean upon arrival and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds are one of the best hotel beds I’ve ever slept on and the sheets/pillows were very nice. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast bar in the mornings. Our only complaints were that the toilet had a very loud flush, our door sometimes was a struggle to open, and the elevator was a little forceful. Other than that we very much enjoyed our stay.

We've stayed here many times and it was always nice, utilitarian, practical stay. It was just bad luck that this time we got 2 rooms with horrible mildew odor permeating the room, damp carpet, and moisture, probably the classic motel AC unit having an issue. If you get a mildew room ask to be MOVED - other rooms we entered later just to sniff/see were PERFECTLY FINE - my mistake not asking to be moved...

Standard hotel room with no surprises. Staff is great. Got a room on the backside away from the highway that was nice and quiet.

The bed was very comfortable. The front desk staff were very professional and friendly. Everything was clean and well kept. Room 308 overlooking the highway wasn't as loud as I thought it would be. I usually travel with my sound machine just in case. Nothing to complain about

The AC in the room worked terrible and had a foul smell. The shower was dirty.

Well the room wasn't very clean, there was a baby pacifier under the bed, also the pull out bed was horrible!! Also we booked it specifically for the pool & when we got there the lady was like oh I'm sorry, the pool is under construction. Also it took about 30 minutes or more for her to check me in, cuz she couldn't find my reservation when I had my receipt on my phone. So the whole trip was blah....

Clean peaceful stay.

I found the bed comfortable, although the other bed was not, for my adult children., I do always like their check out time. 😌

There was no pool

Pool was under construction though. Would have been nice to have known that.

Check in was slow and the room was dated, but okay.

The lobby and common areas looked quite nice, however when we got to our room the freeway noise and smell sent us back to check in for another room. The only room they said was available at 5 pm was one on the first floor near the lobby. With all the rain and being near the pool (which was closed) the room smelled extremely musty and moldy. It was dark with inadequate lighting and carpeting was well worn and felt damp. Outside the pool was close by so we wondered if the rooms had flooded and were concerned for our health. The first night there were kids watching TV in the lobby and yelling until almost 11 pm. Our room did not have a hairdryer and I had to ask 3 people to get one. They changed our towels which were not drying with all the humidity but only got 2 bath towels - no hand towels or washcloths. We did not partake in the breakfast and went out to get food the whole time there. Will not stay here again.

A comment on cleanliness-Please clean the cobwebs and dust curls from the AC vent and surrounding ceiling tiles over the front desk. They make the hotel look run down and give the impression the AC filters are dirty.

Breakfast was really good. Pool was out of service.

Amazing everything. Good was plenty and better than good. Many varieties. Nice staff. Really nice place with extra amenities.

The receptionist was very kind and helped me a lot with some things I asked for like extra water and towels, in a very friendly and quick manner. I'm very happy with how she treated me. Everything was 10/10

Spacious rooms Pool was not working and we’re not notified, otherwise we would have stayed somewhere else. My daughter was looking forward to pool time.

Staff was excellent. That is the only thing good about this hotel. First room we were in smelt moldy and the entire room was damp feeling. The carpet was wet when we got there. Changed rooms the next day it was better but bed was horrible. Mattress should have been replaced a long time ago. Breakfast was the worst I have ever tried to eat. Got dressed went to the pool gate was locked. No sign anywhere nor were we informed when we checked in. Would probably never stay at a Holiday Inn again after this stay.

Staff was not very friendle during check in or check out. The gentleman who checked us out acted like we were a bother. He said they charged my crefit card although the hotel was prepaid. He said Expedia didn't send then a receipt, turned it that the receipt they gave me was not mine.

The cleanliness stood out to me the moment I walked in! Spacious room, incredible pillows, Dove products in bathrooms, decent breakfast. Staff was accommodating. Certainly my go-to in Austin moving forward.

First I was booked into a room that was already occupied.😕 Given another room quickly---but, still, a hassle. Hotel & room cleaned with heavy scented cleaning products--- & I'm allergic to scents---so not a restful night. Holiday Inn Express on Stassney is much better choice.

We were road-tripping and visiting friends in nearby Dripping Springs. This hotel was conveniently located. The room was very clean, bed was comfy and breakfast good. We got there late and didn't have a chance to use the outdoor pool but it looked nice. Small fridge, coffee maker in room, front desk staff were friendly .

Nice staff from A to Z Nothing

As usual I always stayed at holiday inn when i travelled, a place I can rest my head from long day. However, this hotel made me feel like I’m home, because of the water pressure feels like you have the luxury. Yes, that water pressure they have it’s made the difference. Keep it please don’t change.

The room was big and very clean. There was a weird smell, but may have been coming from the bathroom since the toilet was running when we got there. It did have to be manually stopped so it would stop running. But aside from that it was a very nice room.

South Austin has really evolved lately in this hotel is very close to shopping and has relatively easy access to downtown via a short drive. The staff was very nice and I appreciated the cleanliness of the facility.. The gym was OK but somewhat limited compared to other hotels. The breakfast was amazing and had many many options. The only downside to the stay or some other guests that seemed to be enjoying some inhaled substances and being loud, but that’s not really the hotel‘s fault.

The room was clean, we enjoyed the breakfast, the staff were very helpful and nice, and I love that they have Dove soap dispensers.

Our keys stopped working after one night. The beds & toilet were super low. The room smelled odd, probably because it was on the first floor by the kitchen. The toilet smelled like pee because the connections were dirty. The shower curtain was not long enough to go inside the shower.

Great stay, and great proximity to NRG Stadium. Would definitely stay again.

The young lady that worked the front desk on Friday, January 20 had outstanding customer service skills. I checked in about 250. She was very helpful and helping me find a venue that we were attending.

The staff was very nice and welcoming. The room was clean. There was no noise so I slept great for my meeting for the next day.

Ok, but disappointing. I've stayed at this hotel two times previously, and the room was much cleaner and had a great mattress. This time the room was odd when I walked in. It was very cold - thermostat was set to 60 degrees. and the desk lamp was on. The mattress had a large depression in it on one side, and the sheets did not smell clean. Other small things: no TV station directory, and the "do not disturb" sign was missing.

We couldn’t get breakfast because I had to be at the job site at 6am. If breakfast would have been ready at 5am it would’ve been perfect for everyone,besides that a 5 star stay.

Very lacking. First the parking lot looked pretty rough. Looks on the inside wasn't the greatest. The breakfast was severely lacking. Apparently they now charge your credit card a week later as well for a service fee.

Super friendly staff. They always greeted us as we entered and left the hotel. The rooms, lobby and grounds were super well kept. This hotel had a nice selection for breakfast and my kids really enjoyed the pancakes.
