this was lovely! i’ve stayed here for years! the front desk staff was genuinely always at the front desk (which is hard to find anywhere lol) and was very helpful! breakfast is ALWAYS good! The room was nice and cool and housekeeping kept it tidy our entire stay! 10/10 recommend! No notes!

The staff is the shining star of this hotel. Though the grounds are well kept and room accommodations more than adequate, the friendliness, positive attitude, and performance of this staff is what will have me returning here in future Austin visits. Many Holiday Inns could learn a lot from this example.

Overall great experience

Basic hotel for a quick overnight trip. Clean, comfortable, everyone friendly. Parking was easy. Would stay here again if need arises.

The building and amenities are good. My concern was that the carpet was very dirty with stain. The staff was professional courteous breakfast was OK. The eggs were very cold. Everything else was good. The location was perfect for the events. We attended in the Austin area. I would book a stay there again. The small stuff doesn’t really bother me, but since you wanted me to rate your location.

The headboard on the bed was broken, there weren’t enough towels in the room, the shower curtain was too short and water got everywhere when showering, and the tv did not work properly.

The staff was very kind and accommodating.

A couple started arguing outside my room at 4 a.m. Police and an ambulance arrived at the hotel. I couldn't get back to sleep and decided to leave. I didn't expect this to happen, especially considering the price I paid for the night.

Did not eat breakfast at hotel due to choices and quality of premade food. We were on the first floor and people in the room above us were stomping across the floor late at night ( still going at 1am) and early in the morning. We were also close to the dining area and there was a lot of noise at the beginning of breakfast that woke us up. I prefer the top floor and will not take a bottom floor room again.

Breakfast was not so fresh, but we were the Friday after Thanksgiving so may be the reason. Overall clean hotel, well located near restaurants and not too far from downtown Austin.

The room was spotless, water was hot, room for the whole family. Staff was great, breakfast was good, and check out was painless. I will definitely keep this one in mind for the next trip to Austin! Krispy Kreme within walking distance made it even better!

Great room and service

The room is very new and neat. I heard the front-desk staff said they just done remodeling for this hotel. The breakfast is also nice (enough for me) with eggs, bagels, sausage, yogurt, fruits, and coffee. It is very close to downtown Austin, and about driving 30 minutes to San Marcos Outlet, I believe many people come for shopping. To San Antonio, driving about one hour.

Kind of off the beaten path but the free parking makes up for it. Decent rooms that were clean. Would stay here again.

Room was advertised with sofa bed, but sofa bed was not ready, not comforter, not pillow. Staff didn't have any extra to provide with.

Breakfast could be better

Checked in late received a room on a floor under construction. Dust every where, no carpet on floor, painters tape every where including our room number. No other rooms available unable to get Hotels.com on phone just stuck in this mess.

The room has everything you need and is very clean. The staff are nice and the area is great.

Everything with the hotel stay was exceptional. I will be using Holiday Inn Express and their other branches from now on. But after the trouble Hotels.com gave myself and Holiday Inn Express where I stayed and had my room paid for far in advance this will likely be the last time I use hotels.com and I would advice them to have their upper management contact me after how they handled myself and the Holiday Inn Express front desk.

Noisy on Friday

Parking area was well lit and we felt safe walking in late at night. Staff was friendly and courteous. The carpet in the hallway was not the cleanest but thankfully the room and everything inside it were clean. They had liquid soaps locked up on a wall which works fine for adults but were not reachable for my kid. The sink is smaller than it appeared on the pictures. Overall it was a good experience and the price was reasonable.

I will be staying here for future Austin stays!

Manager was disgusting and yelling at me. I tried to say that room was loud and she said thats not her problem. She said to take up with Expedia ? I said I did not stay with Expedia but with Holiday in- and she saiid I paid Expedia and not them? I asked for recite and was told that she cannot give it to me because I booked through 3rd party.

I want to start by saying that the front-of-house staff provided excellent customer service. They were attentive and accommodating to our requests. When we entered our room, it was clean and updated. The breakfast the next morning was delicious, with plenty of fresh and healthy options!
