Hilton Garden Inn Austin NW - Arboretum

My adult daughter was in the hospital down the street. This hotel was a life saver. Super clean, everyone was so friendly. The restaurant and bar in the hotel lobby was an added bonus. I highly recommend this hotel.

There are areas that are showing quite a bit of where. Carpet is needing to be replaced, and there are some lamp shades that need to be replaced. But the staff is wonderful and the facilities are very clean. I understand that they are going to be renovating as well shortly. All in all it’s a great place to stay with great staff and you have to accept just a little wear and tear in the unit.

I think they charge too much for staying in this place, building looks is getting all inside the hallways and part of the elevator looks totally old building needs more update and better new carpet, they charge for breakfast a lot , does not specify in their website., be careful

Lot of pets there on my floor

Unexpected win!! This was a great choice. Right at a $100 was an incredible price for a nice place, large room - the deluxe was set up like a suite with some nice separation, for the same price as a regular. Bed was comfy and it was clean and quiet with super friendly staff. Would stay here again.

The A/C was very loud in the room and when it was off I heard the room next door to my room was just as loud through the wall. I did not get any sleep.

Had a good atay.victoria at the front was great. She helped me stay booked in the room I was in even when I was in San antonio and couldn't be there in person to sign the reservation.so my guys could stay longer to finish a job at a construction site. Very nice.

Front desk staff was not friendly

It was clean. The AC could probably be serviced but did a good enough job. Loved the location so would stay again for that alone.

We only stayed just a bit longer than just enough to sleep. We did use the pool though for about half an hour. It could use a good deep clean, it wasn't dirty as in filthy but just old and needed a good scrub down

Such an incredible hotel!! Beautiful rooms, and the breakfast was amazing. Only issue we encountered was the pool being shut down for maintenance, as we did book this Hilton location specifically for the indoor pool. But that's nobody's fault, maintenance happens :) If we're ever in town again we will still probably book this same property!!

I asked for a room with double queen sizes bed. The beds felt and looked like twin beds.

Everything was clean. The staff was helpful even though I did not read how to get on wifi that was right in my hands. Staff, Tom was sweet and explained it for me. Breakfast was good and plenty of variety on buffet. If I return to Austin in future I will stay there again. Great access to various places I needed to go to.

I hate to be a pest, but our room was not cleaned on Friday, we called the front desk, and they said they could not do anything and that if we needed fresh towels we had to go pick them up. Also, Sunday morning there was a smoke alarm that went on about 4 or 5 times, and a crazy lady kept banging on a door and screaming very loud which made it difficult to sleep.

Hotel was great. Staff friendly and helpful. Bed was comfy. Really enjoyed my stay.

Clean room, nice staff, and a Pappadeux nearby, also in a quiet part of town. Nothing spectacular, but the kind of consistency you’d expect from a Hilton Garden Inn. The only thing about them is the pillows could be a bit more dense and the beds a maybe aren’t as luxurious or comfy as higher end spots. But for a quick stay or business trip, it does just fine. You can always ask for extra pillows, if needed.

We called and spoke with Tom (who was helpful at checkin for my 2 rooms for 2 nights - so I remembered him ) Tom was very helpful to locate our item so we could return later for a secure rescue of it Thank-you Tom ! Well done Sir !!

wifi was down all weekend. AC unit in our room was not working. Had to have a mechanic in our room to repair the AC unit.

Parking was easy and we skipped breakfast. The shower did not work in the double bedroom, but the staff was able to accommodate us with the use of a shower in a vacant room. She was professional. Also, the last trips through Expedia has landed me into a handicap room. I am not handicap. This is my main gripe!

Location was close to many attractions, UT, 6th street and the Domain. Room was clean, comfortable and meet all expectations.

I arrived late at night and was cheerfully greeted by Gerry and provided a nice clean room where I could take it easy for 10 hours before I checked out. Breakfast buffet is excellent but honestly there are probably other hotels with the same buffet menu included in the price. At $15 I wasn't complaining, though.
