The AC went out on the 1 night I stayed. After a night of drinking I came to an incredibly hot room. No maintenance until I was checking out. No refund or compensation at all. Staff was not accommodating. Charging for mandatory valet is also a crime.

The staff needs more training. I had paid the room through Booking.com and I was told it was not paid, so I got charged twice. Once I brought it to their attention on the second day, I was refunded the money. I had also selected a room with breakfast included, but when we went to breakfast we were told it’s not included and we would have to pay. Made another trip to the reception to inform them of the situation and they finally gave us the breakfast passes they should have given us when we checked in. Also, the parking is too expensive.

Nice property. Every other time we used the elevator we had to wait almost nine minutes for the elevator to reach our floor. Valet is the only option for parking on the property and it was nearly the same cost as the hotel room.

George in the restaurant was great! Parking is very expensive. The room is sold with breakfast but breakfast is not offered outside of the restaurant. They offer a credit in place of continental breakfast that they do not apply. The restaurant bill is not itemized. Heavy homeless population near by. The elevators didn’t work properly. The pool was disgusting. There was no filter running. There was not water in the lobby. The property looks old and unkept

The elevator wasn’t working properly whenever we needed to go down - which was a pain (particularly with dogs). We were glad it was dog friendly tho! Reception and service was mixed. Some were very kind and others seemed like they couldn’t be bothered. I didn’t realize it was so close to east 6th street (my fault). So depending on what you’re doing that could be good or bad. All in all - it wasn’t the best but it also wasn’t the worst. The parking was also insanely expensive!

The Hotel rooms smell old, they are clean but outdated for sure. The elevators they have are seriously outdated and honestly feel scary. They shake and feel unsafe. The valet at the hotel is also too expensive. It’s almost 70$ per night and at other hotels Iv stayed that were way better and updated cost only 30$ max a night. My big concern as well is being overcharged for my Parking. I only stayed 3 nights and got charged for 4 nights! Valet charged me 304$ !!! That is ridiculous

When we first landed, our key fob wasn’t working. Went downstairs back and forth getting a new key to only find out that the door lock was dead. Staff was great though in helping us through the process. Just be aware the rooms don’t have running ac, it’s a blowing fan, we set it at 60 and felt humid and sticky in the extreme Austin heat.

One of the staff members I spoke to upon my arrival was unbelievably rude and unbelievably unhelpful. I asked if they had parking or if it was strictly valet. She rudely answered it was just valet for 80$ overnight and when I asked if she knew anywhere else that allowed parking she rudely answered “how am I supposed to know. I only work here. We have valet.” with the most attitude. Every other staff member was beyond kind and helpful. There was hair in the tub, batteries left out on the couch and the shower curtain smelled of mildew leaving me to question if the room ever got cleaned. Free WiFi wouldn’t work at all. A motel 6 would be cheaper and same quality you would receive here.

Overall my experience was horrible, I had 2 rooms reserved. I came to Austin to bring my nieces to 2 concerts. But the hotel stay was horrible. We got there Sunday night and one of the rooms stank very humid and like wet. Also my nieces said when they laid in the bed it felt welt. I call the front office no answer. Then the elevator was taking so long after u press it to come up to our floor. One of the days it took close to 25 min I ended up calling the front desk hoping they will answer. They had to send someone to go up to our floor just so the elevator will make it to us. That made us late to one of the concerts . Over all I don’t recommend at all .

My only complaint was the elevators. I stayed on the 12th floor, and the buttons did not work properly. Whenever I needed to go downstairs, I had to press the up button to call the elevator. Other than that, I had a great stay and would definitely consider staying here again!

The valet parking is an utter ripoff - about $70 per night but extra fees and mandatory tips are charged in addition to the nightly rate. There is no one at this hotel to assist older guests or guests who need help with their luggage, etc. as far as I could determine. Meal prices are outrageous. I wanted yogurt and a cup of coffee & was required to buy the $25 buffet breakfast for very little food on a Saturday morning.

The AC unit in the living area part of my suite didnt work the entire time. The $69 dollars a night for valet parking is extremem.especially since my car didnt move the entire time. When I did ask the valet to get something out of my car for me..he handed me my keys , gave me the directions how to walk up the ONE WAY for cars only ramp to get what I needed and bring him the keys back. That and the fact I have to go all the way back down a very slow elevator after a long day in order to get my Uber eats which are not allowed to deliver straight to the room is the reason this will be my 1st and ONLY time ever to stay here.

I was ok with the stay, the room was spacious and amenities were ok. I liked that there was a microwave in my room as well as the coffee maker and fridge. On the Saturday morning of my stay, there was a fire evacuation but from my room no. 1405, i was completely unaware of the evacuation until i happened to step out of my room to leave for an event and the cleaner had to signal to me that we needed to evacuate. Knowing you dont use lifts, she still called the lift? But we headed to the stairs. Being on the 14th floor was not helpful and i was late to my event. I couldnt stay to see the outcome of the evacuation, but saw all was ok when i returned later that afternoon. No attempt to contact me was made. I saw the fire trucks all leaving later that day.
