The A/C was set at 66 working all the time and never got below 70 in the room.

The most outstanding advantage is that breakfast is provided. One drawback is that the parking fee is a bit expensive at $40.

The room was beautiful (uniquely high ceilings that I was particularly fond of) and I had a balcony, which turned out to be an amazing choice for me as I got to sit out at night and relax. The pool, while not as big as I normally like, was set on a rooftop and the view was glorious. Overall, my stay was great! Would definitely stay again!

Rooms are clean and cozy. Staff friendly and helpful always. Breakfast buffet is good, Plus that you can choose real dish and cup instead of disposable ones. Close to UT and Capitol. Will stay there again

It had its own parking which was very convenient and seemed to be really close to everything. The staff was super nice and the breakfast was phenomenal compared to other hotel breakfast. The surrounding properties were under constructions or in disarray. Also one of the doors leading outside was missing its handle so you couldn’t open it if you were coming into the hotel.

This hotel could use a refresh. It is starting to get a little run-down. Decent hot breakfast. The price for parking should be mentioned in the description.

Everything was perfect EXCEPT for the evaluation limiting me to only 5 Stars. 6 Stars was more like what I experienced!!!

The breakfast selections were very good. Nice pool but no hot tub (a personal preference). Our room did not have enough towels initially which disrupted things a little

The room was very spacious, clean, and the staff was nice and friendly. Breakfast was decent. Gave it a 4 star because the room had no fan in the restroom, ceiling fan was not working, and no remote to control the window blinds. Because of all these it made the shower wet and room very stuffy.

The hotel is nicely located near the school of my child, nice, clean and good sized rooms, very good breakfast and very professional staff. We’ll be most likely be our fave home away from home.

To Moody Center. It was an easy uber ride to the center, and a nice walk back after an event. Parking overnight is expensive, but this was known and disclosed when we booked it so it was not a surprise.

The location was perfect for a concert at the moody center! Easy walking distance to food and concert! Our room was great and the staff was very helpful.

In an excellent location. Plenty of food places nearby and the Moody Center is only a 15-20min walk. Staff were kind and provided excellent hospitality. Room(s) are spacious, clean, and comfortable.

Convenient location. Absolutely outstanding staff! Super clean, comfortable room with great amenities. Nice free breakfast. Trash cans in the hallways (at least on the 7th floor) needed emptying, but aside from that, everything else was perfect.

Easy check in. Room was bigger than I expected. While breakfast was standard fair with a few added things which I am sure others appreciated. The Muzak that played in the breakfast area was great and started day off right. Elevators-and my room was on the top floor- were great, hardly ever had to wait on one. And for me the hotel was 4 blocks from where I was spending my time so that was plus

The rooms were clean and the AC was cold! Pool was a little small but it had a nice view! I wish there was a restaurant or room service, but the Hilton right across the street was amazing! As well as the sushi place (Sushi Junai) right down the road

Newly renovated, nice style and clean. Reception and breakfast area kind of small but nice. Breakfast not fancy, but I really enjoyed the relax atmosphere and fresh waffle by the self help machine. Stayed in a King bed room with balcony. Spacious with high ceiling. A few things can be improved on: noisy exhaust fan in bathroom, leaky shower head, an in-room safe would be nice. Overall a very pleasant stay of three nights for business.

It was ok property. We were just staying for short duration so it was ok. Beds were uncomfortable and noise outside was too much. We were on 5th floor where gym and pool is. Every time someone open or close the doors, our bed wall and bed was shaking. Front desk staff was friendly. Having an ice cold water in the lobby was a plus. Specially when you are out in TX heat in summer.

The location was perfect—within easy walking distance of the museums, the Moody Center, the UT campus, and numerous restaurants. We especially enjoyed taking an evening stroll back to the hotel after dinner at a nearby restaurant. It made our stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again!

Was really much too small when the sofa was open. You could barely get out of the bed on the side of the sofa sleeper to go to the bathroom. Other than that it was nice and the breakfast was great.

This was a decent place near the Texas University Austin/Capital/Guadalupe St/Congress....all was great except parking $40 a night plus tax. Could have left the tax out : )

They were very kind and understanding when I needed assistance for a situation..the night shift i believer his name was nick was awesome assistance for my room. It is also not my first time staying there, its very familiar and always welcoming very attentive staff. Nothing comes to mind rooms were clean, great food and fresh. Breakfast is served till 10am which is amazing! I did not like a wierd smell in the hallway of the rooms very odd noticed as soon as stepped off elevator but I believe it might of been due to the ice machine being broken and it smelled like humid or stail water. They did have alternative ice machine and very clean with a nice private room to minimize the noise. Over all nothing bad.

Location is excellence. The young white receptionist is racist. Since I'm Asian, he charged me $40 for overnight parking. Meanwhile, I talked to other white parents stayed there, he charged them either $15 or $18. The room is ok. It's smelly. AC is not cold at night. The iron broken. Breakfast is ok. It's kind of blend.

The property was well maintained and the room was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and attentive. I do have two complaints, however. First, the lighting in the bathroom was very dim, making it very difficult to do hair and makeup. The other issue was that we were given an adjoining room, using only one side. The first night was extremely quiet. The second night of our stay, a family with young children apparently stayed next door. The sound must travel between the doors because we could hear almost everything the children said, but mostly shouted/cried. They were also awake much earlier than we needed to be, and their voices were difficult to ignore.

The only downside was breakfast. Breakfast was basic in my opinion. It won’t keep me from staying again though.

Really loved my Stay! Right in the middle of downtown Austin. Close to everything and most importantly to University of Texas Campus. The Hotel was modern, clean and beautifully decorated. Pool was great at the 5th floor with great views of downtown and UT Stadium! The breakfast was good with Eggs, Sausage, waffles, cereals, Fruits, and toasts. Will certainly stay here again! Walking distance to the State capitol too.

Stuff was super friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was very clean as well. Loved that it was within walking distance to the Moody center for a concert.

room was met expectations, clean a little technical with the TV. I'm not a fan of technology but it was fine. the only thing I can really complain about would be the tightness and gloominess of the garage; elevator was lit up. I felt bad that on another floor that evening someone seem to be smoking something, your staff was already investigating it. All in all, I had a very good stay.

Close to the Univ of Texas. The parking garage parking can be tight for trucks or SUV’s but take it slow. The breakfast was great with many options.

Nice place to stay. Staff is amazing, very clean establishment. The only draw back is having to pay $40 a day for parking. Parking should be free for paying guests or at least heavily discounted. I know the area probably doesn’t allow for free parking but $40 a day on top of paying for the room is insane.

I did enjoy myself. The area was nice clean rooms. Staff was friendly except for the night people breakfast prefer real eggs but other than that enjoyed everything else parking was OK overall I enjoyed it. It was a good place to say.

The hotel was clean and conveniently located. The staff was amazing and breakfast was great. My only complaint is the stupid TV. We could never get it to work. If I chose live TV it wouldn't do anything and it would not let me sign in to Netflix even though it showed it as it said to wasn't connected to Internet but didn't give me an option to connect. We were only there 1 night for a concert so I didn't bother asking them to fix it for me, but it was definitely an inconvenience when we got back from concert and wanted to chill out for a bit before we went to sleep

It was a good stay for me, there was a ceiling fan in the room which was unusual but good feature, wud have prefered a small fridge in the room.

Nearby Moody Center

Great breakfast, great parking, and clean room.

Great hotel, clean and friendly staff. The gym was clean and had enough equipment for a good workout. Breakfast was extremely good, fresh and hot. It was also close to the Moody Center which allowed us to walk to the George Strait concert. Parking was also convenient and very well secured. Great experience!

Room was clean and much nicer than other Hampton inns I stayed in.

I stayed at the H.I. downtown to attend a conference nearby and my overall experience was positive. I was greeted at the front desk by a friendly and helpful staff member and provided with 2 free bottles of spring water for my 2-night stay. The parking was easy to navigate and I felt safe in the parking garage. My room was a corner room with a balcony and was quite spacious and clean. I did not eat the free breakfast because that was also provided at the conference I attended down the street. My only complaints were: 1.) the very slow elevator, and 2.) the noise you would expect to hear staying in a property in the heart of downtown. I would stay at this property again for future conferences and recommend it to others! Barb M.

The bed sheets are very comfortable.

Staff was amazing super kind. Door battery was low so could not get into room. Had to go back and forth throughout the day until maintenance arrived. Other than that the stay was great. Room was big and spacious couldn’t hear anything so it made sleeping great!

The location was perfect in distance to UT campus and to the medical school as well. I felt safe walking around the area of the hotel as a woman traveling alone. The front desk people were so kind and made sure I could get into my room even when the card pad stopped working.
