The overall seat was good. We had good interaction with the staff. Only one blemish on our stay… we found fake eyelashes on our bath towel thinking it was an insect initially. Thank goodness it wasn’t. Once again overall stay went well.
- 5/5
Clean room, easy check in and check out.
- 4/5
Everything was great . Only problem was parking. No free parking just street parking which u have to pay for every day by mins and it’s hard finding parking & Valet parking is 70$ .
- 5/5
Great stay, quiet comfortable and staff was ready and available to help you.
- 3/5
Really convenient location, quiet, nice staff Sheets weren’t entirely clean, room had a shaving cream smell, AC didn’t get cold enough
- 4/5
Me gustó todo lo único es que no tiene su parqueo y se debe pagar por parqueo

Centrally located. Very nice and friendly staff. Great place to stay.
- 4/5
Clean facility, very nice staff as well. The pool was clean and all other amenities were great. The breakfast was good and offered a nice selection. When booking my reservation on Booking.com I was not prompted or informed that parking was valet only with a nightly cost of $65.00. Bringing my total per night stay over $200. I would have booked a different hotel had this been clearly stated.

Great location. Friendly staff and great breakfast. The room was spacious. The only thing that was average was the bed, it was not very comfortable. Overall the hotel was great.

The young girl at the front desk and the valet guys were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean. There is a ice machine as well as a water refill machine on my floor which was AWESOME. This is the first time I have seen a water refill machine in the hotel. I don't need to buy bottled water. The location is only 2 blocks away from the river. We felt safe enough to walk to/back from the river after dark. The breakfast is a disappointment. It doesn't have much, but enough basics for a quick and simple bite. If you don't like the breakfast there, there is a breakfast place (Crepe?) in the same building right at the corner..

Everything was awesome!

Great location. Loved the rooms and staff was excellent. Nothing
- 5/5
All common areas and especially the room was very clean and updated. This property was a GREAT value! Parking is super expensive, but it is for most all of the properties in this area. We chose to leave our car in a separate parking garage for our one night stay.
- 5/5
The room was very nice and clean. The breakfast was a great selection. Check in was easy and fast. Valet could be a little better explained before arriving
- 5/5
Nice quiet place to stay in the middle of ATX all the restaurants are walking distance. And the room rates are decent.
- 2/5
Location. 1) The front desk people were extremely rude. They weren’t personable whatsoever. Barely would meet your eye when we talked to them registering or later asking a question. 2) The room ac could not be adjusted correctly. It was either quite hot or quite cold and wouldn’t change when attempting to change the temperature and setting. 3) The price for valet was ridiculous $130 for 2 nights. 4) This hotel was disappointing at best and would not recommend or stay again. 5) The elevators and hallways smelled old and dirty, unclean odor. Musty.
- 5/5
Very comfortable stay. Appreciated that the hot breakfast offered was not the same each day. Staff pleasant and helpful. The downtown location was great for connecting to tours, restaurants and The Moody Theater.
- 5/5
Didnt know we had to pay $65 a night for parking.
- 5/5
The staff, the cleaning, the room, the position of the hotel. Lack of diversity on breakfast, every day it was omelette.

Location was great! Close to all the places I wanted to visit. The location was key. Good spaced rooms. The gym was great too.

Room was extremely clean! Loved the hot water and water pressure! Staff from curbside throughout was amazing!
- 5/5
The rooms were pristine, clean and organized. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The Continental breakfast was good with different options available. It was overall a great stay for our short family trip to Austin in a great location - close to everything!

Staff was friendly & the location is hard to beat. Room - could never get room cold no matter what we did. Pool - decent area / set up but it’s the only public pool I’ve ever been to that did not have a bathroom at all. Very strange design to leave that out or make people have to return to their rooms / elevators.

Though this hotel has its good services, beware of incidental deposits. I was charged $300 - and the info on Expedia didn’t mention incidental deposits!
- 5/5
Nice place to stay. Great location.
- 5/5
AC worked great. Floors were quiet so you could sleep in. I will stay here again.
- 5/5
Great hot breakfast that was never crowded. Comfortable beds with lots of pillows. Excellent location near food and river pathway.
- 5/5
Hotel is great location. Most bars/restaurants are walking distance.
- 1/5
When we called to speak with the manager, he was rude and would not help us get the room comfortable. To make it worse, he promised compensation for the valet parking but did not follow through. If you want a secure room and working A/C, look elsewhere.
- 5/5
Awesome location!
- 5/5
Very comfortable and clean with a lot to do nearby.

Had a fair stay at this Hampton Inn. Even though I was had a reservation for five days, they booked me into a handicapped room which had some awkward features when I first asked if I could be moved to another room the front desk man said come back at five or 6 PM and we’ll see if ones available to you however I knew that the next people will be checking in at 3 PM two or 3 PM so I couldn’t understand why he wasn’t giving me priority over those people when I talk to the next person at the front desk. A few hours later they read a lady put me into a regular room without a problem in prior to the next people checking in the breakfast. Food was fair. There were mountains of hard-boiled eggs that really tasted rubbery and disgusting. The availability of two fresh fruits out apples and bananas . The water in the front lobby was available after 12 PM even 100° plus weatherThe business center is above the main lobby so there’s no quiet area and hardly any outlets available if you want to plug in your laptop. The worst was the pool which was tiny and also did not open until 11 AM and since checkout was 11, we were trying to get into the pool with our young granddaughter before we had to leave and even at the 11 AM availability. They were still late unlocking the gate and we didn’t get in there till 1125. The location was great very quick walk to the river and to other downtown restaurants and amenities and sites to see that was the most positive feature of this.
- 4/5
Helpful staff , nice pool Water and ice machines everywhere and breakfast not bad at all
- 5/5
Room was clean. Breakfast was convenient.
- 4/5
Great location downtown. When we booked the toom it was shown as "Single King" but when we checked into the the room, half of it was a gym, which was quite strange. With this can one less night stand and it smelt like bubber workout equipment. This should habe initiall been included in the room description.
- 1/5
They were not helpful on the check in just because I booked trough Expedia and not to them
- 5/5
Good breakfast every day different
- 5/5
No comment at this time.
- 1/5
Surprise fees that you’re expected to just eat at check in. Parking costs extra, front desk is rude and dismissive. Doesn’t accept cash and doesn’t care if you can’t find somewhere to deposit it. Not even a full 24 hour stay either
- 5/5
Great place!
- 3/5
sn't good either. Very outdated, elevators need service. Multiple water leak across the property. Inconsistent information from staff. Hallways smelled of meldew, most likely from water leaks. A ton of noise from the strip. After watch staff handle the food we opted out of the breakfast. Was thankful we only spent one night here.
- 5/5
no complaint, staffs are nice, room is cleaned every other day
- 5/5
Nice hotel with friendly staff ideal location but in a relatively quiet area. Really good bars restaurants and convenience stores nearby too. Short walk to sixth street for all the night life. Would recommend.
- 5/5
Great visit and clean hotel
- 5/5
Good service
- 5/5
Very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast had a nice assortment with ample seating. Good location. We were in town for a convention at a nearby hotel. We saved $80/night, and got free WiFi and breakfast - such a good deal!
- 4/5
Austin is a freaky-deaky city and the residents definitely do a great job of “keeping Austin weird”. The hotel was clean and surprisingly the snacks in the room were complimentary. I’m talking about Snickers, Twix, and other goodies.
- 5/5
Very nice stay. Clean room and friendly staff.
- 5/5
Great hotel staff. Beware of the valet parking attendants, one messed up my phone number and lost my car briefly.
- 5/5
Great location close to the river and very walkable to many areas of Austin. Friendly staff and clean facilities. I’d book it again.
- 1/5
Clean room, staff was good, big TV, nice desk, plenty of power, iron worked.
- 5/5
Our room was clean and comfortable
- 5/5
The valets, front desk staff, and breakfast crew were all friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
The hotel was nice, everything was clean and seemed to be well maintained.
- 2/5
The air conditioning wasn't very good. It was set to minimum, but I think the upper floors are just much warmer. The hallways on the lower floors are certainly cooler. Otherwise the bad review is from the hotel being cagey about their parking. It's about 65 a night as it is valet only. There is another garage, but it's brutal without weekend rates and those are only from 11-4.
- 5/5
The property was clean. Everybody was friendly upon arrival. The valet was great checkout was easy.
- 5/5
This was my second year staying at this hotel for my bday weekend. It’s always very clean and very nice staff. Thank you and hope to be back again!!
- 5/5
Public parking available just a few feet away in the Convention Center garage.
- 5/5
Loved our stay! Very clean, staff was very friendly! Breakfast was different each day and it was good! Will definitely stay here again. Within walking distance to the Comedy Mothership on 6th street!
- 5/5
I had an awesome experience at this hotel? It was clean, peaceful, nice! Great breakfast and staff was very courteous. I would recommend it to anyone!
- 5/5
On all fronts was excellent
- 4/5
Good options for breakfast and day time front desk staff were good.
- 5/5
This hotel was lovely. Looks to be recently updated. Very clean. Very helpful and friendly staff. I will stay again if I return to Austin.
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
Courteous staff, easy check-in, and clean room. The room was perfect! Will stay again. Close proximity to downtown restaurants and 6th street. Only issue was the parking. No spaces available so we had to utilize paid parking across the street. Otherwise great place to stay
- 4/5
I think the rooms could use a refresh, and it was pretty noisy. There was fire alarm testing randomly from 8-5 Monday and Tuesday. And one of the mornings housekeeping vacuumed the hall at a little before 8 am, and hit our door which startled us. We were on 6 am California time, so we were hoping to sleep in. Also, the only parking is valet and it’s $64 per night. When I was dropping the car off one evening, the valet looked at me kinda expectantly, and I said “the key is still in it. Is there anything else?” And he said, a tip maybe. Then haha, just kidding. I told him we tip when we pick up the car.
- 3/5
The hotel was nice. The staff was very nice and friendly. Even the valet drivers. The Breakfast was quite delicious too. BUTTTTT, we will not be returning, because all they had was valet parking and it was $70.00 a night!!!! That was LUDACRIS !!! It was 15 mins away from our destination. Learned my lesson. CHECK IF THEY HAVE PARKING!! NEVER EVER AGAIN!
- 4/5
Overall lovely hotel, good breakfasts and coffee. Nice staff. Note that- Parking does not come with your stay and rooms are cleaned every other day unless you ask.
- 5/5
Room was nice, walked in and it was nice and cold. The pillows were too soft for our liking but bed was very comfortable.
- 1/5
If there was a NEGATIVE 10 star rating this hotel will meet the criteria .. hands down
- 3/5
Clean room. Was able to communicate with staff well. Breakfast was fresh and they have a variety of options. Only issue was that I received the wrong room than the one that I had reserved.
- 5/5
Great location to 6th street or Rainey district. Valet parking and great customer service. Check out the Cedar Door for a bite to eat. Close by and walking distance.
- 3/5
The Hotel was fine the valet in the other hand lost my license plate on my car not only that there was a drink in my vehicle that did not belong to me was promised not to be charged for valet parking and they still charged me for it
- 4/5
I thought that was a little much, seeing as I didn't even have a car with me.
- 4/5
This is an older hotel in downtown Austin very centrally located. It has been updated beautifully - especially the bathrooms. Really nice. We were very happy with the hotel but the valet parking was $69 per night. Expedia needs to let people know about this expense in addition to the price of the hotel. We had to use the parking as we had many bags and could not tote them from a different garage so we were captive to that exorbitant price for valet parking.
- 5/5
Solid place to stay. You get what you expect
- 2/5
Did not eat breakfast
- 5/5
You might want to upgrade your charging outlets in the rooms, as they weren't compatible with any of our devices.
- 5/5
Very clean room, extremely friendly and helpful staff, perfect location. Best hotel breakfast I've ever had. 100/10 experience.
- 3/5
Cheap rate until you park,
- 5/5
Breakfast was average. Air conditioning great.
- 5/5
Great location in downtown Austin. The room was better than expected.
- 2/5
Valet only parking available and a ridiculous charge as a hotel fee.
- 4/5
Everything was good
- 1/5
The AC wasn't working properly during my two night stay. I alerted the front desk on the first night, and they sent up a small fan. Engineering found a short the next morning, supposedly fixed it, but it wasn't working properly again overnight. I told the manager the next morning by text, and the response was that, after experimenting with different temperatures & the fan modes, the manager found a setting they felt would've been fine. So apparently I didn't spend enough time playing with it. Totally my fault I guess.
- 5/5
Great experience with staff and the stay was wonderful. Was a little shocked by the $100.00 per day incidental fee. Stayed for 5 nights so $500.00 was an unexpected expense.
- 3/5
Photos were very misleading. Sub par at best. Only decent thing was location & walkability.
- 5/5
Clean
- 5/5
friendly staff, good breakfast.
- 5/5
I enjoyed everything about my stay. Especially the bed and linen were so comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I look forward to staying here again.Thank you for the great hospitality/service.
- 5/5
Great hotel. Nice rooms centrally located to all local attractions
- 3/5
The pillows unfortunately were very thin, fluffed, but more hollow thank filled. I wish the restrooms had fans in them as well. And unfortunately all alarm clocks should be reset per stay because we weren't sure how to work it at first when it woke us up at 6 am from previous guests alarm setting. We weren't very happy with the alarm and lack of neck support in pillows mainly.
- 5/5
Me and my fiancée enjoyed it
- 5/5
The gym was great and accessible anytime.
- 5/5
Clean room, lovely staff, especially the valet driver Sergio.
