Commodore Perry Estate, Auberge Collection

I wish there was a rating higher than five stars to give to this hotel. The food was amazing, rooms were perfect, but the most outstanding thing that I noticed was how well trained the staff was and how friendly, helpful and respectful they were. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to spend several days in Austin Texas.

The hotel was absolutely gorgeous. We had an amazing time!

The staff is amazing ranging from the valet, front desk, bartenders, wait staff and on!! They make this such an amazing place. The hotel alone is beautiful, spacious, comfortable and peaceful. But the staff make it great! If you are looking for for a place that is worth the money then stay here

Customer service was horrible. We checked in and didn’t like the room. They did not give the refund even though we didn’t stay for a minute. I ended up disputing the charge with my bank.

The Commodore Perry is an oasis of calm, beauty, friendliness and professionalism in the midst of an urban environment. The staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful from the moment we entered the property until we drove out at the end of our stay. The dining room provided delicious meals served by knowledgeable, efficient and pleasant staff. The room looks just like the pictures on the website - no surprises - and was most comfortable. The 2-basin bathroom was generously sized for both of us while still maintaining adequate privacy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Perfect staycation and a place worth traveling for

Good but overpriced. While rated a 5 star something is lacking. The food is mediocre at best and they seem to be trying to appeal to “foodies” rather than relying on tried and true favorites. I am surprised this hotel made the Auberge collection.

An example of the great service is that every staff person addressed you by name. Friendly, human and professional. Room and amenities were world class

My favorite hotel in Austin! Everything is always perfect

The property is absolutely gorgeous. It is located a good 15-20 mins north of downtown. In my opinion this is a great hotel for corporate events and for couples looking for a stay-cation where you are not looking to leave the property.

Beautiful urban oasis, great restaurant and nice pool. But nothing walkable nearby so really one stays on property. Also, this is more a leisure hotel than business hotel (eg, no desk in the room). Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful grounds

This was an over the top experience from the minute we arrived the parking was as simple as parking should ever be! Check in was superb, and we were walked to our room. After we dined in the Mansion and the food was amazing and the service was exquisite, thank you MJ!

Great oasis — excellent service, fun restaurant and grounds. Nothing within walking distance is maybe the only con, but they offer free cars to borrow, so no issue there

There are two dining options on the property. Beds were very comfortable. The property is such a gem!

VERY NICE-STAFF FRIENDLY-

They gave me a room facing a house going through construction and the noise woke me up super early and continued until I checked out. For such a huge place with many available rooms, why put me in a room like this?? I desperately needed sleep but nope.

Wonderful location - little oasis in middle of city. Grounds are beautiful, food is wonderful, and service is impeccable.

I have a bad back and the bed was very high for my 5’3” frame and very hard. The pillows were so soft that I couldn’t prop myself up. I wound up sleeping in one arm chair with my feet propped up on the other.

Best experience Ive ever had at a hotel. Grounds were beautiful, food and service were excellent.

This is my second time staying at this hotel, the staff is very helpful and friendly. The hotel is very intimate and beautifully decorated. It’s not close to the Action so if you’re looking for something quiet and tasteful, this is definitely it. They do have live music, depending on which day it is.

The secluded feels of this beautiful property despite being a few minutes from austin city center. Love the garden and the view from the resturant feels as if we were at a country estate. Definitely will be going back when the garden is in full blooms. Not sure how long they will have their house car, very helpful for us to be able to them during our trip. Our uber wasn't sure where to drop us off, the valet people wasn't there when we arrived to give us direction. We drag our luggage into the restaurant thinking it was the hotel entrance. Granted it wasn't a long walk, but the 2-3 steps into and out of the restaurant feels steep when you over pack your bag, LOL. A small sign pointing direction to check in would have help.

Impeccable service. The staff went above and beyond our expectations. We enjoyed a tour of the estate on the last day of our stay. We can’t wait to come back to this beautiful and historic property!

I don’t know where they got their fruits and vegetables from but it tasted sooo fresh and good. I will always miss their breakfasts Would highly recommend staying in this place! Commodore Perry offered all the amenities you can think of! The estate was so beautiful and the food extremely delicious that we didn’t really feel like we needed to leave the property. The pool was beautiful and the gardens were serene. We stayed in the La Vernes suite and it was the most stunning and unique room I’ve ever seen. I really enjoyed that there are vehicles you can take to explore Austin. The staff went out of their way to make my early birthday celebration an unforgettable one ! Audra was the best!

The resort is very clean, delicious food and wonderful staff

The Commodore Perry is a beautiful hotel, service is excellent and the location is convenient. We had excellent meals in the Mansion and enjoyed eating in a variety of spaces such as the terrace, sunroom and dining room. Our hotel room was clean, quiet and had unique finishes that made it much nicer than a normal hotel room.
