Reviews
Guests generally have a positive experience at this hotel, appreciating its cleanliness, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff. However, the noise from nearby bars and clubs is a common complaint, especially for those staying on the weekends. The valet parking fee is also frequently mentioned as a downside.
- Clean and comfortable rooms
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Noise from nearby bars and clubs
- Expensive valet parking

The staff was super nice and kind. We needed a late checkout and they were only able to give us an hour, but still the room was super nice. I will say though $50 for parking is insane.
- 4/5
It's an interesting contemporary boutique hotel. It's fairly close to the very center of Austin. The valet parking was convenient. The staff was very pleasant. The party scene at the pool below was extremely loud.
- 5/5
Location, spacious room and helpful staff.
- 5/5
Loud at night on Friday and Saturday but other then that, it was a great stay
- 5/5
Clean. Convenient. Super friendly helpful staff. Will be back. Valet was awesome
- 5/5
Awesome room with huge indoor surrounded patio. Beautiful shower and great for solo traveling since the area is walkable to shops and cafés.

The hotel was clean, modern, and very well maintained. The staff was consistently friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our stay. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. One thing to note is that the beds sit fairly low to the ground, so keep that in mind if that’s important to you. The pool area was clean and well cared for, making it a nice place to relax, and the bar served excellent drinks. Overall, this is a great option if you’re looking for a comfortable, well-located hotel in downtown Austin. I’d definitely stay here again.

Everything exceeded our expectations. The bar is excellent as well!

All was well. Clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, free water and coffee

Awesome place to stay close to lots of restaurants and bars very central

Love the pool, food nearby and the staff was super attentive The only aspect that was rough was that our room was so humid you could feel it on the sheets. But I am not sure if that is the hotel’s fault or just the weather when we went in Austin!

Staff seemed stressed and argumentative at times and customer service an afterthought.

Paid for breakfast to be included throughout our stay in advance with expedia but was disallowed by the front desk. No help to resolve the issue.
- 5/5
Nice courtyard outside to sit and/or study, a bar, and a restaurant. Can’t beat that, wasn’t expecting it. Staff was nice and accommodating, will be back next visit in Austin for sure
- 4/5
Only downside to the property was the $54 per day parking.
- 5/5
Caden at Valet was very friendly and welcoming

Verynice
- 5/5
Hotel was great and very clean! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was $54 valet parking and it’s the only place to park.
- 5/5
Great hotel in downtown, walk everywhere. Great restaurant and wonderful spa water and cookies!
- 4/5
solid hotel. street noise is very loud, can hear it from inside your room.
- 3/5
The room was nice and the beds were comfortable, but be warned this hotel is on 6th St. and right next to bars. The music is very loud, especially on a lower floor, and the sound machine they provide doesn’t block it out. They also offer earplugs and different sleeping aids. I would also recommend paying for a room with a view as our room overlooked a dumpster in an alley and a parking garage. The worst part was the huge cockroach in our room just as we were checking out. Also not a fan of general hotel parking not being available so had to pay the $54 nightly valet fee. There are definitely better places to stay in Austin. I chose this one for the downtown location and pool, but would not stay again. Staff were very friendly, though, so that was a positive.

Breakfast menu was really nice, ate in the bar twice. Cleaning staff really friendly. Afforded late checkout of 12 noon. Flavoured water jugs in lobby and water machine in gym. Leak in lobby close to the billiards table I almost slipped and fell when playing billiards.
- 5/5
The hotel was great! Very convenient to many great restaurants and bars within walking distance.

Everything was amazing! Def will come back next time I am in Austin 😍

Our air conditioner did not work at all. It was 85 degrees in our room. Other than that it was fine. I'm sure they will fix it
- 5/5
Small boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Austin. Great restaurant on the bottom floor. Bikes for rent. Pay a little extra for the room with a view. Well worth it.
- 3/5
Also, pool was closed early for private event. The lobby and parking garage smelled of sewage and the AC was out on the first floor. Front desk staff was friendly. Earplugs, noise machine and sleep patches were provided to ease the noise but little help.
- 2/5
This is a great place to stay if you are partying on 6th street. Horrible if you want to sleep before 2am.

Great bar. Helpful and friendly staff.
- 3/5
My only suggestion is when booking it would be ideal for guest to be informed if they are big events that prevents guest to access amenities.
- 5/5
o a/c in workout room. Also, most of hotel amenities were reserved for a wedding so we couldn’t use pool or restaurant/bar whole stay
- 5/5
Busy location on West 6th street, a bit of street noise at times but the hotel itself is lovely and well-run.
- 4.5/5
Our room feltl a little dingy. And although I was aware of it, the parking fee is exorbitant. There is plenty of other public parking that will cost you a third to half the price of Hilton's charge.

Superb
- 4.5/5
Very friendly and responsive staff! It's really the luck of the draw if you get a room at the back as the front rooms are subjected to the nightlife as many reviewers have commented. Our room feltl a little dingy. And although I was aware of it, the parking fee is exorbitant. There is plenty of other public parking that will cost you a third to half the price of Hilton's charge.
- 5/5
Great location and nice amenities in the room. Very comfortable and good size room.
- 3/5
Smelled like a hot fart 💩 in the hallway and elevator. Pool was great, but, there was trash everywhere and there were no towels. Thermostat in room didn’t work properly.
- 3/5
Great little hotel, almost ruined by the elevator banging night and day, echoing in my room. The nearby club noise didn't bother us at all. It was the clanging elevator.
- 5/5
We love the location, pool, and restaurant/ bar. Great spot in Austin
- 4.5/5
Nope.
- 5/5
Everything was clean and the staff was extremely nice and very polite. The gym was good the pool was nice. Only complaint would be the parking. But it’s Austin so you have to expect to pay premium for parking. Overall I would stay here again.
- 5/5
This property was nice, clean, and conveniently located. We will most definitely stay there again when visiting Austin.
- 3/5
I told the person at front desk that you can't even read the numbers on the t- stat. It looks damaged. (Probably from the last person in the room pushing on it to get it to work.) Front desk offered a fan but o was already trying to sleep. How does a motion sensor work when you lying in bed? Pretty aggravating.

Clean room Amazing Staff
- 5/5
Incredible location. Incredible staff. Lovely room. Perfect Coffee. Walking distance to everything. 100% recommend.
- 5/5
Had a wonderful stay! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, the location was perfect with great bars and spots within walking distance, and the restaurant at the hotel was absolutely amazing.
- 5/5
My longtime best friend and I met in Austin for a reunion and catch up weekend and chose the Canopy on 6th. We wanted to watch the nightlife while visiting without having to actually walk down on the streets below. We felt a part of the action but were safely above it with a cool drink in our hands. The room was very comfortable and room service was superb! The front desk staff were very nice and helpful and our cars were safely parked below. It was great!
- 5/5
Clean, large room! On site restaurant was delicious. In great area to walk to many restaurants. Noisy bar next door but they provide ear plugs & sound machines, so easily drowned out the music.
- 5/5
I can not say enough about the property staff especially the front desk! both were pleasant and very helpful when I misplaced my phone. The lounge has the coolest vibe and the food is delicious! I will definitely plan my stay at the Canopy when I return to Austin
- 5/5
Great location. Staff was friendly. Bed was comfy. Would stay there again.
- 5/5
Clean room, great amenities, quiet on a weekday night. Very convenient for work travel!
- 5/5
All great
- 4/5
Nice hotel but noise level from adjacent bars are really bad. You can hear loud music until 2am and it was hard to sleep.
- 4/5
Every aspect met my needs
- 5/5
Room was perfect. Great location. Walking distance from a dozen nice bar/grills, and nice restaurants.
- 5/5
We love the clean urban rooms and patios , our favorite place to hangout is by the pool area on the tables looking down at all the interesting characters on 6th street . We just wish that area would stay open past 10pm . But overall , we always have a great time here and love all the walkable spots . Can’t wait to get a balcony room facing 6th!
- 5/5
Parking is too expensive
- 5/5
*The hotel is located on 6th Street, so if you’re a light sleeper, keep that in mind. We slept great. The hotel provides earplugs, tea, and a white noise machine.
- 4/5
This hotel was perfect accept the pool was ice cubes.
- 5/5
Enjoyed our stay. Staff was very friendly.
- 3/5
Not all that

$75 pet fee is a non-starter, will not return.

Great stay. The Filipina lady working at the friend desk was so kind!

Good. But noisy even on 6th floor due to the clubs and the drunks in the neighborhood

Hotel was great and not too loud even though it’s on 6th street.
- 5/5
Room, staff, location, quiet room

The restaurant was also super. I will definitely choose this hotel again, don’t thing about it and book your room.
- 4/5
Location was good to get to different spots to see our son run the marathon.
- 5/5
Nice clean room that was well equipped and cleaned daily. The staff is very friendly and it’s a great location.
- 5/5
Great experience! Clean facility, very nice staff, and overall great rooms. Would highly recommend.
- 5/5
Clean room, central location to a lot of bars & restaurants located downtown
- 5/5
Perfect everything!!!!! Will definitely recommend and return!!!!
- 4/5
The room was nice and spacious and staff friendly. Our room looked into an alley but everything else was adequate or better.
- 1/5
Bed bugs
- 4/5
Our room was super clean and comfortable, and everyone from valet to the front desk was friendly and helpful. We ordered room service from the on-site restaurant for dinner. Food was good, but we weren't given any napkins or silverware. The water/ice machine on our floor was broken, but we were able to use one on the floor below ours. About the club/noise level...even with the sound machine the hotel provides turned up loud AND both of our phones running a white noise app, we could still hear the music. Just something to keep in mind if noise bothers you.
- 5/5
Everything was great!
- 3/5
The place was ok, but the shower leaked everywhere (even outside of the bathroom). The breakfast restaurant didn’t open on time and the food made both my husband and i ill.
- 5/5
Good location Loud ellevator
- 5/5
The room was very nice and clean. Staff was very helpful. Great location.
- 5/5
Very clean and quiet room. Room and bathroom are well appointed and spacious. The hotel is very well located near excellent stores and restaurants.
- 5/5
convenient location, lots of restaurant & bar options nearby. Pet friendly and comfortable rooms, quiet and clean.
- 5/5
Yes, everything was spot on. Thank you for your hospitality.
- 5/5
Clean nice rooms, fabulous staff. Will stay here again and I highly recommend it
- 4/5
This place is loud during the weekends, and it should be. I was offered a quieter room if requested, but I didn't come to Austin Texas for a quiet room. Never made it down for breakfast, so can't comment on that. The only thing that could have made my experience better would have been a portable fan in my room, or if the fan in the room could be set to stay on, and also a microwave to heat up my left over meal at 3 in the morning!
- 5/5
We only stayed for one night, but it was great. Very clean and well maintained. The beds were very soft and comfortable. You have to pay for parking and it is $54, which seemed very high for one night. I did not see it listed anywhere when when I booked so that caught me off gaurd. Other than that we had no other issues.
- 2/5
Noise from outside the hotel was unbearable. Horrible decision if you want to relax and/or sleep.
- 1/5
Poor management, literally took my 200$ deposit because i was running late and checked out 30 mins late.
- 5/5
It was the best hotel at which I’ve ever stayed. I’m fearful of writing such a good review that it will become swamped and I won’t be able to stay there again. The rooms are lovely, the food is good, but it’s the staff who make the difference. I would give it 10 stars if I could.
- 5/5
The hotel had a different vibe that was great for me and my wife. Enjoyed everything.
- 5/5
We stayed in the balcony room on the fifth floor. We were advice sixth street and the balcony was wonderful in the evening to watch the world go by . Very convenient location to everything going on downtown. They provide noise machines and earplugs because on a Saturday night it can be a bit rowdy below. I was also impressed by the card at check-in that says you could request monitors if you’re there on a business trip, which I wasn’t. The restaurant bar in the hotel is excellent as well, we had drinks there one night and breakfast the next morning we’d stay here again.
- 5/5
The front desk staff were outstanding—friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. We immediately felt welcomed with cookies and a selection of waters, which was such a thoughtful touch. The valet team was equally accommodating, making arrivals and departures effortless. Our room was cozy and well-appointed, with everything I needed right at hand. I especially appreciated the quality face soap, shampoo, and conditioner provided. Although my room was on the side where music could be heard (as I had been kindly informed beforehand), it didn’t prevent me from getting a good nights rest.
- 3/5
Friday night at 1:30 in the morning, hotel guest a few doors down were have a horrific, loud, screaming fight, that was terrifying to hear. I usually don't even mention something like these things, but the fight made me really uncomfortable, as it felt it could be not only abusive verbally but maybe even violent.
- 5/5
The brunch was AMAZING. Everything we ordered was top notch and delicious.
