Best Western Plus Austin Airport Inn & Suites

The carpet had a moldy smell, likely because it had just been cleaned before our arrival since it still felt damp. The bathroom also had hair on the shower walls. The free wifi was terrible, and the customer service from the staff left a lot to be desired. Overall, we were very disappointed with the cleanliness and service.

Excellent Nothing

Room was dingy and needing new furniture and lighting. Bathroom was dirty, fan was covered in dust and lint, preventing it from venting during showers. Desk was duck taped together. Carpet was fraying and felt thin and worn under my feet. I didn't want to walk bare foot in the room. Area did not feel safe due to large unhoused population. We arrived after dark and I was uncomfortable unloading our car and leaving it parked overnight due to amount of unhoused stumbling around and staring at us. Not at all what I expected for an overnight stay before an early morning flight. Closer to the airport felt safer and cleaner as we drove to the airport in the morning. Wish we had chosen a closer location.

The hotel was clean but the swimming pool needed work

Pool was out of order, and fitness center was very under equiped.

During our stay, the staff was very helpful. Our room was clean. The iron wasn't working at first, but the staff made sure to send us a new one right away. There were many breakfast options to choose from. There were plenty of parking spaces available. We will definitely stay here again!

The location was about the only thing we enjoyed when we were in austin The staff swiped our card twice locked my bank account I had to pay cash for my stay and that was what I was gonna use to enjoy the rest of my weekend in Austin and then there was only a three towel limit cause they were low on things I asked for a receipt for the cash I paid and it took hours to finally receive one after asking so many times

Nice newer hotel worked well for an overnight stay. No frills but clean and comfortable. Nice staff. Unaware that pool was closed.

Clean room great staff

The hotel over all was not bad. Although it was extremely inconvenient that the pool was closed. That's the whole reason why I picked the place. I planned on my children being able to swim and enjoy themselves. Instead they were bored and I had to spend more then I planned to take them swimming. To top it off the extra couch provided was all torn .

The room was average. One day they had granola bars at breakfast which I appreciated as we were in a hurry. I wish we would have booked a neighboring hotel as the pool was closed. The elevator was dingy and gross. Parking limited. Just seemed like we could have paid the same amount for somewhere a little nicer next door.

Have a physical disab ility. 22 mm kidny stone. using ice packs for driving .1s t night was off. asked to keep medical ice pakcs in freezer, manager said ok. handed them to manager who put in FRIDGE so ice packs never froze! next DAY power went off, genertor failed to work and told 15 min by manager and its the citys fault. i called other hotels and every one of them within 100 yards , model 6, laquinta, cambria, and apt ALL had eletricity!. manager was cutting tree limbs off power box, it was overgrown and dried b ush fire hazard from years befor. due t o medical disability had t o leqve and get another hotel

I arrived to a lobby poring brown water all over the lobby counter and floor the got to my room to find a very old room after a while of my kids running around they found a USED TAMPON on the floor so nasty i told the front desk i wanted to check out they told me no refunds and could only offer another room

It was splashing all over me. The pool was closed for repairs. The breakfast was horrible. It was my first time to Austin and first vacation in 3 years and I wish I had picked any hotel but this one.

It does not have an airport shuttle

Where do I begin. If you’re looking for just a bed this is the place for you. Granted it was our last nite In austin. I initially booked to be next to airport before our departure back home. Little to my surprise I was shocked to hear that the pool was under construction. (Even though they advertised it like it was ready to swim), Texas is hot! So a pool was a must, especially with kids. Rooms were dirty floors, beds, bathrooms falling apart. Not fun visit at all. Later on that nite I went to turn on my room lights only to discover an infestation of big roaches. It was so bad my spouse left early and caught an early flight because she couldn’t stand one nite at that hotel. And thus the reason for this review. Best bet is just stay in downtown Austin.

At the time we stayed the pool was not opened yet, waiting on inspection from the City of Austin. Otherwise, all was good. The beds were the most comfortable bed I've had at a hotel.

I didn't that the carpet in my room wasn't clean enough & I don't think the A/C unit was cleaned out in a long time because when we came in the room smelled musty & stuffy.

The room was dingy and run down. The outlets in the bathroom did not work, and furniture in the room was damaged and broken. The fridge did not get cold, and the hotel door was wonky so was hard to close. cigarette butts were floating in all the planters when you walk in, which was not appealing. Also the pool was not open and the upstairs guests were extremely loud and disruptive which made sleeping difficult. The front desk staff was very friendly, but take a minute to actually come to the front. We were only there on night and would not stay again.

Convenient to airport. Quiet and clean. Easy access. Price is fair.

Also, the breakfast was only so-so. Very few muffins, bread and they kept running out of eggs. Tables were not cleaned.

I loved the free parking.

The room was very nicely done EXCEPT for cleaning the AC filter...it smelled very dusty! In the hallway was great..smelled like new paint and fresh. I did appreciate the GRAB and GO breakfast. My flight was super early. However it should only be individually wrapped items.

ALl was good except the person above me would run and jump at 3 am in morning. There should be a sign like at the hotel I am at now that says after 10 no noise from guest. The fact that they sounded like a stampede ( no joke ) at 3am to about 5am was annoying. I yelled knocked and they still continued.

The reason for picking this hotel was to have a REST day by the pool on Sunday. The pool has been out of order and no mention of it on line. Very disappointed.

The facilities were modern and updated as well as clean, and the staff was friendly, professional, and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

It was very clean and very quiet especially been the airport area . It was right off the freeway. Which made easy to commute. I will stay there any again. Only thing l didn't like mattress they were very firm . It was not good for my back another that it very nice clean and breakfast was average

5 stars except my key card had to be reactivated

The beds were extremely uncomfortable. There weren’t enough towels or bedding for the number of people we had. We had to go to the front desk to get more blankets and towels.

Parking was a nightmare! Several people were double parked. There was 3 big box trucks in the parking lot taking up spaces. I ended up having to park out on the street. The ramp (sidewalk) coming from the road was awful! The concrete was cracked, inwhich couldve lead to someone tripping.

I was not made aware that the pool was not open during my stay. I went to this hotel for convenience and amenities which to find out there was none. I was very disappointed

Our room smelled like pet urine. We do not have pets and should not have been given this room. The carpet needs professional cleaning.

Terrible breakfast!!

It was quiet, peaceful. The bed was amazing, plenty of chargers, though I couldn’t watch Netflix but luckily I had my iPad. I enjoyed my Mother’s Day stay overall and the lady at the desk was kind and helpful.

Nice, easy place to stay at a good price. Breakfast was decent. Place was clean and nice.

The night staff at this location was friendly. The parking lot was well lit and it felt safe. The condition of the hotel was good. We did have some issues in our room. There were hairs inside and by the tub. One of the beds had dirt under the pillow. The coffee table was smeared with something clear. Last but not least, there was chip crumbs in between the beds on the carpet. I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of this room.

Hardworking housekeepers were excellent, professional and friendly. Every one of them. At desk Tommie was fabulous. So informative and energetic, and he put us all at ease. Very special person who solved several minor problems for us with aplomb. We’re very appreciative. The only problem is that the pool was not available and it didn’t seem to be high on the priority list.

Although the beds and the bathroom were clean, I felt like the floors had not been vacuumed at all. A little disappointing. As we were leaving guests from a ground floor room had simply taken the screen off their window and were coming and going through it.

The locations n was really good. The room was amazing with the seating area. Gorgeous bathroom. Overall, I’d stay again if I returned to Austin.

The room was spacious and very clean. The shower lacked water pressure and one of the tableside lamps was missing its knob from the switch control, but overall, very comfortable. Breakfast was better than simple continental offers, but still lacked flavor.

The man on duty was awesome and professional.

No housekeeping until after third day. Not advised at checking. No emptying of trash or refreshing of towels. Had to go to front desk to request toilet tissue. Ceiling is paper thin. Clomping around on the floor above me woke me from a dead sleep.

Great front desk staff. Thanks Tommie. Addressed all the issues we had - especially the little kids jumping and running in the room above us at 11 pm.

We were sad the pool was closed - we are from Canada and it was warm out so we would have enjoyed using it - it was unfortunately not mentioned that it was closed. The water pressure in the shower wasn't great but not a deal breaker
