Amazing stay, great location, kind staffs, fantastic rooftop bar and pool. Parking and traffic in Austin is bad in downtown. Valet parking service was amazing. Will come back!

LOVED this stay and the hotel! Staff was very attentive and kind! Very clean and up to date! Restaurants and bars were 10/10. Had super good food and drinks! Wish parking was included in the stay / room instead of a separate fee, but valet staff was great. Made it easy to call for my car through text.

This is an excellent hotel. The staff was all first rate. I felt like everything was super clean. I had dinner in the main restaurant downstairs and it was delicious. The lobby bar was very cool. The pool atmosphere was great. Pool service was very good. And the bar near the pool was also great! I would absolutely stay here again.

I went with my girlfriends and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves…..frim the great customer service, to the friendly bartenders, great food and the awesome rooftop pool and bar, it was a grand experience.

The hotel is beautiful, modern, and in a great downtown location. The staff was polite, and the overall design and public areas were impressive. We chose Marriott to celebrate my wife’s birthday because we expected a premium experience. Unfortunately, the experience did not match our expectations. We felt that too many extra charges were hidden in the fine print. The free parking was not a realistic option, so we had to pay $69 per day for valet parking. The breakfast was also misleading. The booking stated that breakfast was included, but in reality it was not. We had to ask for breakfast vouchers at the front desk, each voucher was worth only $25 per person, and although we were a family of four, we were told that only two vouchers were included. This was very disappointing and not what we expected when booking a room advertised with breakfast included. We were also automatically charged a daily destination fee that was never clearly explained. Overall, we left feeling that the hotel focused more on additional fees than on providing great guest value.

Overnight parking is $70 per night. The rooms are small and the beds are very firm, more firm than was comfortable. The pool was dirty and there were tiles everywhere at the pool area that were unsecured and uneven. Our stay was okay, but we won’t be back to this Marriott.

I have stayed at this property many times. Great stay as always. We ate while hanging out at the pool. Food was delicious! Can't wait to go back.

We absolutely love this hotel. We had a corner room on the eighth floor that overlooked the pool, it was wonderful..The restaurant was good,The breakfast every morning was in the hotel restaurant,Very nice. We rented a cabana one day at the pool and that was very nice for my granddaughter and daughter, there was a TV in there and plenty of seating

This hotel is awesome! The restaurants and staff were so nice! The pool was beautiful and fitness center was large and overall the hotel felt luxurious, especially for the price.

My family and I had a fantastic weekend at Marriott Downtown Hotel. The Service from the entire staff was amazing. I mean everyone starting with the Valet Team. Checkin, Housekeeping. I mean everyone. We loved the coffee shop. Unfortunately we didnt have enough time to have dinner at the restaurant but we will when we come back to visit. Very satisfied with this Hotel. The pool was great. It was packed but great.

Beautifully designed hotel, staff was exceptional and located in a great location.

Marriott (and its collection) is a hidden fees brand; I'm done with them. Plan to add ~$100/night (parking, internet, etc.). Teensy rooms and bathrooms, toilet room is terribly designed (sliding door won’t stay shut and isn't flush), etc.

Great location for 6th street fun and easy walk to Rainey St.

The hotel was great but the WiFi was spotty

I loved the rooftop bar and restaurant. I just wish that they stayed open a little bit longer. I have no complaints. Everything was a 10 out of 10.

??We never come back this hotel again it don’t deserve for price, if you guys book queen beds you will heard all day long congratulations nosing so loud 6 am to 7 pm not cityveiwe construction view room has no fridge and small room than average, pool was dirty 3 days never cleaned seem garbage dirty water and also kids pool not dip , I requested before I arrived high floors no respond I asked again when get lobby politely she said no we can’t rude answer not even try to look help that night I texted hotel chat hey change my room so loud I’m not paying here watch construction and listen no respond till morning . Moring we couldn’t sleep started 6 am construction Finally I come down morning call manager we argued for hour she come down being rude and she wasn’t happy to see me at all ,They changed my room the other side 27 th floor for next two nights They need a find nice manager ??

We had a very good stay overall. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff was friendly and professional throughout our visit. We did experience an issue with the air conditioning, which took a few hours to fully resolve. However, the hotel handled the situation professionally, stayed responsive, and went above and beyond by providing us with a complimentary $100 breakfast credit for the inconvenience. We appreciated the effort to make things right and enjoyed the rest of our stay. The excellent customer service left a positive impression, and we would stay here again.

We really enjoyed the location

Was a very nice place but took awhile to get in because they tried to charge me for the room when I arrived, I had already paid for the room. After talking with them and showing them emails and my bank account it took awhile but they let us in without charging again. Also no robes : (

Barely any hot water. Luke warm at best. The lights throughout the entire room were too dim. Love dim lighting in the bedroom, but bathroom needs a dimmer option for more light when getting ready.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It offered the high standard of quality I always expect from Marriott. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the location was great. I would definitely stay here again

I wish there was a refrigerator in the room, otherwise it was great!

They messed up my reservation and charged me an extra $197 and valet when it was included in my reservation. And they tried to charge me the $375 when I got there when I had already paid on booking.

Loved all, especially the restaurants and city view. Layout of room was awkward with bathroom area and clear shower door situated right at entrance to room.

Staff helps us right off the gate. Since this was my first time booking a hotel for our friend's wedding. They were so helpful with process of check in and check out, giving a tour and recommendations! I felt so welcomed with my friend. Would 100% stay again for the next Austin trip.

The room is pretty comfortable, team members extremely professional. Location is really good, you can just walk to the river, restaurants and 20 min to the airport.

Clean room, nice staff

Hotel was nice , food options decent. Staff was very friendly. Conference rooms were VERY cold. Room Temp was set at 56 degrees. We tried to change it but it did nothing. Reported to staff but nothing changed from day to day. It was so cold you could concentrate on the Lectures that were being given as you were focused on your hands,feet being cold and your nose running.

Our favorite Austin hotel. It’s modern, clean, great location, comfortable beds, pool & cabana area on roof is incredible as is Zanzibar! Love the free drip coffee, breakfast vouchers, and $25 a day credit toward food & drink!

Didn't expect to pay $30 for water bottles

I forgot I had stayed here before, and its a nice place. Our view was of the city and water. We for my husband birthday, staff was very accommodating. Would stay here again.

Great hotel with a very nice atmosphere. We had a pleasant stay overall, but there were a couple of issues. The room didn’t include a fridge, and we weren’t a fan of the bar soap provided for handwashing. Additionally, our room faced a construction area, and we were woken up at 8 AM on Sunday due to the noise.

The rooms were immaculate and had everything we needed. The valet parking was very easy. The breakfast was amazing and very reasonably priced. The staff were all very polite and helpful. We had a great stay here and would definitely recommend it.

The staff was very nice. There is a $25 credit when getting the room. So it’s prefect for a little snack or coffee in the am. The rooms are really nice, and the lady at the front desk was amazed at the price I got for my room through Hotels.com. They take you to the elevator and explain how to use it. There are plenty of things in the hotel to do drink or eat. There is also a few awesome restaurants close by.
