- Comfortable beds
- Good food and breakfast
- No working jacuzzi as advertised
- No restaurant on site

Clean room, just outside of downtown with easy access to get there and anywhere you need to go

nice stay! staff is amazing! location is great. self parking is a plus and felt safe leaving car there. only issue was the strong (smoke) odor inside of the hallways/stairs. room was awesome as well! would stay again.
- 5/5
Hotel was quiet, clean and easy to get to. Breakfast was amazing! Will stay here again!
- 5/5
This was just the cutest boutique hotel. With a really nice pool and hot tub area and the room was comfortable and clean! Plus, they have an on-site sushi restaurant!
- 5/5
This is our hotel In Austin from now on! Check-in was a breeze. The facility and amenities were top notch. We loved the attached sushi restaurant. The breakfast was way better than most hotel breakfasts. The overall music theme was fabulous. So many cute murals and places to take pics.
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and the the pool area was one my favorites for its oasis type feel. Can’t beat the Texas shaped waffles for breakfast.
- 5/5
Beautiful, clean stay! The breakfast was amazing each day, and the pool was awesome!
- 5/5
You want old Austin vibes? Here is where you’ll find it.
- 3/5
The room was clean but kind of an obstacle to get to. Good location to downtown Austin. Rooms aren’t very well insulated to noise. You can hear everyone coming and going.
- 5/5
Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The property was clean and there was never a time we didn’t see someone cleaning somewhere. The breakfast was great. Pool was nice and the room was perfect for us. I can’t think of anything right now.
- 5/5
Very nice and clean room,
- 4/5
I felt it was kind of unnecessary to charge me an early check in fee for being 1 hour and 2 minutes early. I get its policy but you just saw me roll into town and I truly had not checked the time because Austin traffic is so awful. Like…. Let’s pick our battles… Do I get an early check-out refund since I checked out at 8:15 instead of 11:00???
- 5/5
We are definitely going to stay at the hotel in the future and recommend the hotel to our friends. Another plus was being upgraded to a king room and using my VIP status for 2 free drinks at the Sushi restaurant next door, which had great food at grea prices.
- 5/5
Great place to stay for the price.
- 5/5
Staff were very welcoming to me and provided great service.
- 4/5
Very good
- 5/5
The room was spacious, bed comfortable and the shower was hot. AC blows cold and room was very clean. A couple things to remember. The sushi place closes at 1030 not 1100 like it says. Thats was disappointing when we went at 1035 and they would not serve us even a Togo order. Breakfast was your typical hotel Breakfast but was well stocked and has several options. I would stay here again
- 5/5
Our stay here was excellent. The staff was helpful, the room was clean, and the location was close to restaurants and other amenities We will definitely stay here again when we travel to Austin.

Hotel is in the perfect location. It is close to downtown Austin and Congress Springs area. Hotel is well maintained. Beds were comfortable and the family enjoyed the pool area as well.

It’s an old hotel, everything outside the room shows its age, but it’s very well maintained. The rooms are still the important thing and they look like rooms from much newer hotels, clean, spacious, comfortable and the best towels I’ve ever seen in a budget hotel. My only complaint was the a/c was struggling in the 100 degree day, in defense of the hotel I was on the top floor, and those a notoriously harder to cool. And although the bathroom look to be 95% new, it still had the original tub in it.
- 5/5
Awesome staff very helpful. Breakfast was fresh and had a variety of food

I liked the sculpture a. It was a little hard to get around with the ramps stairs and interior hallways.
- 3/5
I'm a bit torn over this property. It's definitely not a 4 star hotel as advertised. I expect a certain level of luxury with a 4 star and this hotel is not that. I'd say its a 3 star at best and if I had the right expectation up front I would be less critical. The hotel feels a little older but the rooms have been worked on. I had a suite and it was fine. The staff was excellent and very friendly. Breakfast was very basic but did the job. Overall I say it's good value for the money but just know what you're getting into ahead of time.
- 4.5/5
everything plus breakfast roaches by the pool

Everything was fantastic live the pool

Clean and spacious room. Kids love the pool. Friendly staff

Breakfast buffet was very crowded.

I like the cheerful colors, outdoor seating areas, the fact that the sidewalks outside the doors were not accessible freely from the parking lot, and the low light lamps available by the side of the bed. I absolutely hated the sheets. They were scratching uncomfortable, and I had trouble sleeping the entire night.
- 5/5
The pool was excellent!

Decent hotel for the money. Staff was hard to deal with a bit but considering the surrounding rift raft people I suspect that had some impact. It still felt safe despite the surrounding area having its issues.

Clean, nice, and friendly staff. Great sushi restaurant attached.

I liked the horse by the pool. Beds were super comfy.
- 5/5
Far exceeded my expectations, the staff was wonderful, the bed was very comfortable, the location was perfect for getting around Austin, the quirky Austin vibe was perfect for a back to school shopping experience with my high school daughter, it added to the fun. Nothing

The hotel and room had a strange smell that I couldn’t ignore. The room was tidy and the bathroom was nice.

My room smelled so good when I came in, not like synthetic air freshener that was covering something up, it just truly smelled amazing and was so inviting from the moment I opened the door. I don’t usually sleep well while I’m away from home and I don’t usually sleep very well when I’m at home either, but I slept really well last night. The bed was so comfortable. The food this morning was great, I was super excited about the breakfast burritos that I didn’t know about when I went down there. There were lots of options for people who have varying dietary needs as well. The pool area was great. The murals and artwork they have as well as the sculptures and statues are all really cute. Everything was really tidy, I relax in the hammock for a while and got to enjoy both the hot tub and the pool. This was just a little staycation for me, but when I move away, I will be staying here whenever I visit. It is affordable and so close to downtown, everything was great.

Hotel was clean and the staff was very nice and helpful. Would stay again.

Staff was kind during check-in, but the facilities are not well-maintained. Our toilet was leaking, and in general, it just feels old and stuffy.
- 5/5
The hotel is connected to a sushi place called Machi, definitely check it out at your stay! Room is tidy, staff is super friendly and helpful and amenities are easy to find.
- 5/5
Very unique property!! Staff is friendly!!
- 5/5
Great stay! Clean room, good breakfast, amazing pool and hot tub!

Muy buen servicio
- 4/5
Its clean and affordable, and that's because the hotel was so close to everything! Didn't have to drive more than 10-15 min for most places.
- 5/5
The staff are very helpful and pleasant. The room was nice and clean. I enjoyed my 2 nights there. I’ll stay again next time in Austin.
- 5/5
Good stay with no issues.
- 5/5
This was a very quirky, art deco-ish hotel that was perfect for my short weekend. I definitely would recommend to anyone needing to stay at an inexpensive hotel that is immaculately maintained.
- 5/5
I love how artsy it is and parking lot is safe
- 5/5
Very nice room (kinda small) we loved the pool
- 5/5
The stay was great and really helpful staff and nice
- 5/5
Beautiful!
- 4/5
Our kids loved the hotel's quirky personality, and the pool area was excellent. The breakfast buffet also had a good variety of options, and the ladies working there were especially friendly and welcoming. Our room with two double beds was comfortable and met our needs. The location was very convenient, close to Congress Avenue, H-E-B, restaurants, and the expressway, making it easy to get around Austin. - The only real drawback was the musty, humid smell in the lobby and our room. It was especially strong in the lobby and bothered my allergies throughout our stay. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and despite the odor issue, we would stay here again.
- 5/5
Loved everything about the hotel!
- 5/5
Clean room, great location! Did not try the breakfast but it was available! Friendly staff!
- 5/5
The room was clean, but it rained during my day so I didn’t get to enjoy the pool so next time! The location was good and the staff were great also
- 5/5
Great place, good value, helpful staff. It's a little confusing together around to the different areas, but overall excellent value.
- 5/5
Great customer service at the desk
- 5/5
Well, this is a gem of a property. I’m very happy I found it and I will be back again. I felt that the staff was particularly exceptional from being greeted or being cared for. Even when I missed the breakfast time, they even offered me a grab and go bag so I did not go hungry. How amazing is that?!?
- 5/5
Excellent hotel! Super clean and the friendliest staff. Breakfast buffet was good.
- 2/5
the hotel smells very musty
- 5/5
Room was clean and nice

Pool/Hot Tub are a little dirty, could have maintained better but other than that our stay was awesome!
- 4/5
Excellent choice, super clean room and quiet place
- 5/5
Great stay! Staff was extremely helpful!
- 5/5
Amazing EVERYTHING
- 4/5
Overall, the hotel was good, but the beds were too small—they were two full beds instead of the two queen beds we expected. Breakfast was mostly pork products, so it wasn’t accommodating for all visitors. Other than that, everything was good.

- 5/5
Everything was perfect loved the pool
- 4/5
Good hotel with a quicky vibe, good location with easy access to the city (if you have a car)
- 5/5
Well kept, friendly staff and very helpful
- 5/5
Beautiful property and friendly staff definitely will be back!
- 4/5
Hotel was in a great area - very easy to get around. Breakfast was sufficient for continental. We didn’t eat at the attached restaurant, but heard good things and it’s convenient that it’s on property. Beds were very small (my fault for not noting that they were doubles) and the bathroom was a little odd - toilet and shower were very low to the ground. It was also a little noisy at night. Not sure I would stay again, but it was a fine hotel.
- 5/5
Great location close to downtown. Nice staff and great breakfast selections. The pool was fun but I got bit by mosquitoes sitting in the loungers. The room was clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
We had a great stay at this hotel. We loved hanging out at the pool and the breakfast was good. We used the fitness center everyday and it was great for a little hotel gym. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the sushi restaurant was delicious. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Austin.
- 2/5
I was heading to Austin for the first time and booked this hotel, which had good reviews. However, major weather warnings were posting and I called to ask if it was safe to come. The person at the desk told me they were on a hill and it should be fine. As I was driving there from New Mexico I found out that cars were getting stuck on the road and conditions were horrible. I diverted to Oklahoma City instead but could never get ahold of the hotel for a refund. And hotels.com tried to contact them for a refund, but couldn't even get ahold of them. Seems a bit ridiculous not to give a refund when the weather makes it all but impossible to get to the hotel ...
- 3/5
Breakfast was good but property and room’s are very old style and not well maintained. I will not recommend this place for family
- 3/5
The breakfast was really bad too compared to to other hotels around the same price
- 2/5
This is definitely not a 4-star hotel. Location is good but the facility is very old. Found bug in the bath tub. Breakfast is so so, not high quality.
- 4/5
Room was nice, pretty quiet hotel which is always appreciated. Pool and jacuzzi was nice, outside area was nice too. Breakfast was okay.
- 5/5
/comfortable rooms, delicious restaurant attached with full bar. 5 - 15 minutes from everything you want to do while visiting Austin.
- 4/5
A unique hotel. I was bothered by the heavy perfume used to mask the smell of mold. The pool and hot tub were closed.
- 4/5
Overall, it was a good stay of you are staying for a short trip. The workers are amazing. Property is a little smaller but well kept. Rooms are a little older and musty but the TV is huge.
- 5/5
It was a nice overnight stay. I will book again if i will go back to Austin
- 5/5
Awesome time there! Can’t beat it
- 5/5
Amazing staff! Raul at the front desk was so helpful, thoughtful and communicative
- 5/5
Great stay! Delicious food! Friendly staff!
- 5/5
This was perfect! The pool was clean and family friendly. Our rooms were clean and had a great bathroom. I highly recommend!
- 5/5
Enjoyed the room it was a great experience. The price was great too!
- 3/5
It felt more like a 3-star than a 4-star. The wall art and vibe were unique. The hotel looked and felt old. People in rooms could easily be heard from the hallway and the people in the hallway could easily be heard in the rooms. The bathroom was small. I couldn’t get their electric vehicle charger to work and the front desk couldn’t help me because it was 3rd party. The pool was out of service the first day we were there. The air conditioner was one of those loud, wall air conditioners they mainly loud sounds every hour or so that was loud enough to wake us up. It was quite close to a major highway with poor noise reduction as we could hear cars driving by on the highway. Most 4-star hotels have a bar/restaurant and sometimes a separate eating area. This had an independently operated sushi restaurant.
- 5/5
Loved how quiet the hotel was. Nice pool and hot tub. Loved the king size bed! Breakfast was great and the dining room its beautiful too.
- 2/5
The staff was nice however the room I stayed in was not very clean and there were roaches. Also the pool was closed for the days we were there.
- 5/5
This was a fantastic hotel in an excellent location, all for a great price. The property was very clean, and the breakfast was good. I would absolutely stay here again!
- 5/5
It gives you an awesome experience for your buck. Super friendly staff and clean!
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was solid.
- 5/5
Nice hotel. Challenging to access if you aren't used to Austin.
- 5/5
My family and I were extremely pleased with this hotel. The hotel staff was incredibly nice and informative. We also really enjoyed the ambiance of the decor, from lighting, wallpaper to paintings. My son and I loved the pool and how it was tucked in the middle of all the hotel rooms. Most definitely a 5 star stay for us!
- 5/5
Super cool and funky hotel just South of Austin,, Staff was phenomenal couldn’t recommend this more!!! Loved the style and the stay
- 5/5
I love it, if you don't want to eat outside just go to the Sushi restaurant, you can ask for "All you can eat" or just the regular menu if you are not to Hungry and they are normal plates not only sushi. Also the property was super cozy and the Jacuzzi and pool were súper refreshing on this days.
- 4/5
Great property, overall good experience. Close to Austin concert scene.
- 4/5
Another positive about this hotel is that it has a great location for seeing South Austin as well as the downtown area.
