The property was well located as I was taking my son on a tour UT. They even had that little lavender sachets to put under your pillow at night. What a cute touch. Paying for parking

Location, rooms, access to Otis rooftop pool and lounge. Too many elevators to get to your room.

We were on the 2nd floor and there was a ledge with rocks immediately outside our windows. The windows must be super clean or reflective because there were at least 3 dead birds in our immediate view. Hopefully the hotel will address this but if you are traveling with a child that would be bothered by that, maybe check your view first. I would definitely stay here again as it was a great location and very clean and quiet.

The AC hotel is on a joint property with the Otis, which is great because you can share amenities between the two hotels, including restaurants and pool. Recommendation: happy hour and the Acre restaurant/bar, shoutout to Aga, so sweet and hospitable. Everything is well maintained and because we were there during a heat wave, the front office gave us water bottles when we asked. They also did a great job of holding our luggage while we waited for our flight. The hotel is in a convenient location, with several walkable options for fast food, Target, and smaller shops, plus a quick rideshare to all the attractions, like Sixth Street. Very clean and well maintained facilities overall. Would easily stay here again.

I’m not sure where to begin…it was amazing. I felt so loved and catered to. The best hotel stay I’ve had in a while honestly. Shout out to Trent and Clayton, they are the best! Something small, but that my room didn’t come with a microwave. I had to go downstairs to heat up items if needed.

The staff were very attentive and the accommodations were excellent!! True value for the money!

Great Stay!

Staff helped us change room when the next door was having a loud party at 2am. That was really nice and we really appreciate. Hopefully the hotel will block people holding parties after midnight in the future.

Beautiful hotel! Love the room design and layout. Checkout the rooftop bar and that spectacular Austin view. Parking in garage is $50 for overnight wow! Valet is $65. Keep in mind parking costs. Very nice hotel all around

This hotel is so nice! Right in downtown and so convenient.

The room, amenities, and staff were all excellent, and we really enjoyed our stay. The only disappointment was the advertised “view,” which overlooked trash, rundown buildings, and unattractive surroundings. Everything else was great.

Staff was friendly. Hotel was clean. Room was clean. Check In was smooth and efficient.

I guess due to the area (proximity to concert venue), the price of the hotel and the parking was high. $50 to park yourself, the spaces are tiny so your car is bound to get dinged. And the entire garage smelled like sewage. Valet was $55 and a very long wait to get your car. Lines to check in were also very long. I wouldnt book here again. All in all, we spent a little over $400 for one night.

Great Whiskey Bar downstairs and you can get a cheeseburger at the stand outside which is part of the hotel and bring it in and have it with your old fashioned. Rooms are well organized though not gigantic: just perfect when visiting all the sites in downtown Austin, 20 minutes from the airport by uber. Elegant, classy ,avant-garde Boutique hotel. Good breakfast in restaurant. You pay but also I think we chose an option and got a discount from Expedia on breakfast as well. But definitely not included in the automatic price of the hotel.

We visited in May and the AC Hotel’s bar and restaurant are closed for the summer. You do have full access to the Otis Hotel’s rooftop bar and restaurant.

Great hotel close to Moody- 18 minute walk.

Just not very convenient location for the state track meet and some entertainment

The check in process was a joke. Understaffed and rude.

It was a great 1 night stay, while we went and seen George Strait at the moody center.

The room was clean, with plenty of towels for use. Just wish there was a microwave in the room. The staff was nice and very helpful

Hotel was convenient, but when I got the bill I saw they charged $55 for valet parking!. Great stay ruined by over priced parking.

Room was clean. Staff were friendly. Only problem was this strange groaning sound coming from the heat ducts. It was really loud and distracting.

Room was fine, bellman was wonderful, however the front desk decided to charge me for late check out (which was approved as I am a Marriott Bonvoy member) and stated I still had stuff in the room hours after we had already left. We left an hour past the original check out time and had already made it back to Houston where we live, but according to the hotel I was still there at 2?? And I was charged for no reason whatsoever:

I go to Austin frequently and stay a different Marriott properties. I really enjoyed my stay at the AC Hotel. It was super clean and the room is streamlined. Not fussy. No carpet. Simple modern layout. The front desk was nice. Easy parking and super convenient to campus.

The receptionist was the friendliest. We only stayed for one night so didn’t get to enjoy any restaurants or hotel amenities but everything was clean, rooms were as expected. Area was safe and walkable to Moody Centre.

Safe and quiet

Booked a quick weekend trip in to Austin to help our daughter set up her apartment while attending UT. We had stayed next door at The Otis before but this was our first stay at AC and we loved it! It was a bit quieter than Otis, conveniently located, and the accommodations were great. Small but very comfortable room, great check in process, and the housekeeping was outstanding. Also, had a great breakfast at Acre 41 with phenomenal service by Riley and team. Overall a great stay!!!

Great walk to Moody Center. Rooftop bar has a nice view but limited drink and food selections. There are other food and drink areas in the hotel. The burger place connected to the outside of the hotel was delicious and fresh. Overall it was a great stay!
