The Sanford House Inn & Spa is a charming and well-maintained hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Guests appreciate the proximity to AT&T Stadium and other local attractions, as well as the complimentary breakfast and shuttle service. However, some guests have noted that the rooms could use some updating and attention to detail, and that the TV and vending options are limited.

Mia was exceptional and so helpful at breakfast! Very attentive too.

Extremely friendly staff. From check-in to check-out every need was met. Chef even with getting our luggage upstairs, bartender doubled as our server on restaurant for a spectacular dinner. Breakfast each morning was very tasty and bountiful. Also close proximity to Rangers ballpark, which our reason for visiting Arlington.
- 5/5
The staff was so kind and always smiling and acted as though they were grateful to be able to help with anything we asked for/about. The room was so cool and we loved our stay tremendously. It was also very conveniently located to everything in Arlington yet once you entered the property you didn’t at all feel like you were right downtown amidst all of the sports facilities and six flags and the busy interstates and highways.
- 5/5
The room was lively and clean, the grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed lounging in the courtyard. Breakfast was great and all staff were pleasant and helpful. Thanks for a great stay!

Great anniversary trip! The restaurant and spa are top notch!

I went for the Spain Portugal World Cup game at the Dallas Stadium, and I’m so glad I found this gem. The hotel is only 15 min walk to the stadium, which save time and money on transportation. And the hotel has a lovely free shuttle to and from the stadium if you don’t want to walk. You can request it anytime you want. The rooms are individually decorated and themed with famous composers. My room The Brahms was spacious and gorgeous. The windows face the courtyard downstairs and it was magical when the sun comes through. The beddings, sofa and bathroom were clean. However there were some corners that needed more regular cleaning. The lamp had some dust on it, and the drawers of the coffee bar were a bit molded. The best part of the hotel is the courtyard and the secret garden. They are beautifully constructed and well maintained. There were birds, squirrels and butterflies in the garden. It was a scene from fairytale. The staffs were very helpful. The front desk was accommodating to all my needs. The restaurant staff were so considerate. They prepared breakfast for me even though I’m late. They packed food for me to take to my room before they were closing the kitchen and gave me some extra muffins I loved as snacks. Van who operated the shuttle were there for me to go to the stadium and the second I was ready. It’s a pity that I stayed for only 2 days.

Great stay. Staff was supper. Special “Gracias “ to Mia. !!! Go Argentina
- 5/5
The room was spacious and the bed was fantastic!
- 5/5
The room was beautiful and big. The staff, amazing, the restaurant excellent. The best part, they are pet friendly and they treated my fur baby with a lot of love. We arrived late and they allowed us to order and take it to the room, since we were very tired. Mia, from the front desk, the best. She helped us with everything we needed, very lovely and attentive. The restaurant staff was amazing too, very helpful. And a special mention to Van, the driver of the shutter to the Stadium, omg he is the most amazing , funny, helpful and knowledgeable of the area person you can have! We loved him. Silly detail to make it perfect. They should vacuum underneath the bed haha. I dropped my earring and when I was looking for it .. oh mamma there were to many things underneath the bed. The rest it was impeccable.

We had a great stay. Went to the Dallas Wings game and could walk to the Stadium. It is a 20 minute easy walk. Parking and sit down fixed breakfast are included and this makes for a frictionless experience. The food was very good; chef takes special pride in his dishes. They have a very nice brunch on the weekends and the bartender can craft you a special cocktail if you tell him what flavors you are looking for. We are from NOLA and this was a great choice for us.

We found this gem while thumbing through the "Select Registry of Distinguished Inns of North America from 2010. This place is fantastic. We chose this Inn to celebrate out 44th anniversary. There were two other couples celebrating theirs also. We booked the Mozart room as the other rooms and cottages were taken. The decor takes you back to the turn of the 20th century as it was designed to do when it was built in the late 90's. There is a superb breakfast served. The Inn houses its own 5-star restaurant with a cozy included bar. From the moment you walk in, the first-class staff make you feel welcome and wanted. The Sanford Spa is directly across the street from the front door, and we partook of the couple's massage. The grounds around the property are carefully manicured into a fairy-tale garden. They have a venue for wedding and other events. We were initially received at the desk by Miss Annalise. Her smile and cheerful attitude were a wonderful first impression. The bartender Michael is delightful to talk to and is an asset to the crew. The staff prepared a special table setting for our celebration and we were taken care of by the most delightful server Michi. Sarah Reid, the Desk Manager is warm and most charming as she tends to the guests. I wish to point out that the entire staff of Sandford house are the quintessential of professionalism and courtesy. It was a wonderful visit, and we most strongly recommend this Inn. We WILL be back.

From the time you walk in from the time that you leave, the staff is very gracious and helpful! We had dinner there. It was divine stuff was amazing. Michael’s always amazing manager is always there. The host staff is great.
- 5/5
Staff were great and food was outstanding! Would come back and stay again! There were a few bugs issues but room and bed was clean and wonderful.
- 5/5
Amazing staff, beautiful, comfortable Victorian rooms. Breakfast was 5 star!. This will be my new go to place to stay in DFW aeea.
- 5/5
The entire staff from front desk to restaurant was exceptional! Briana went above and beyond to make our anniversary dinner special and the front of house manager Sarah was very attentive and professional. The food in thoughtfully prepared and each bite was delicious. Our dessert was a special anniversary plate which was beautifully plated. Our lunch server Michael was so nice and he made the best old fashioned my husband ever had!! Our breakfast host was friendly and helpful and the French toast was yummy. Each person we met from the staff was very friendly welcoming and made us feel very special. We are already planning our next visit. Also forgot to mention the Sanford Spa across the street! We had the most relaxing couples massage by Margo and Claudia!

Everything The whether Saturday night 4-25-26...lol
- 5/5
This charming boutique hotel offers exceptional dining experiences and features beautifully maintained gardens and grounds.
- 4/5
oldish place but felt quite elegant. shower hot water lever needs some work, but hey, its oldish.
- 5/5
The house and our room were clean and warm (on a fairly cold day in TX). Check-in was quick and easy. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, toast, fried potatoes (a little on the greasy side) and fresh fruit. There are many restaurants within a short drive (which helps as I'm vegetarian). We came for rest and a massage and the whole overnight was very relaxing! Nothing really. A suggestion is to keep a.m. restaurant coffee in a carafe as you serve? It wasn't very hot when served and once i added a little milk it was warmish. But it didn't take away from our overall experience.
- 4.5/5
Beautiful nostalgic feeling. Very romantic but thin walls.
- 5/5
The hotel is quaint, and the room was very, very nice
- 4.5/5
The location for AT&T stadium is perfect. The grounds were amazing and so beautifully decorated for Christmas. The leaves could have been raked up, especially on walkways.
- 5/5
This place is a gem that more people should know about. We picked the best time to stay here as the ambiance was like a Christmas cottage. All we needed was cooler weather and some snow. Everyone was super friendly and very accommodating. The complimentary breakfast was like no other! You also have to try the espresso martinis! We will book here again in a heart beat!
- 5/5
The staff could not have been more courteous or professional, the room was immaculate and beautiful, and breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended, and will return.
- 5/5
The room was adorable, bed was comfortable, staff was AMAZING. We went for lunch in their restaurant and it was very good. We went to Dallas for a football game and this place was walkable distance to the stadium. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.
- 5/5
Excellent room and properly. Cottages are close to main house. Charming & decorated beautifully for the holidays, & very safe!
- 5/5
Fun boutique hotel near AT&T Stadium.
- 5/5
Thank you so much to the staff for such incredible service.
- 5/5
Excellent stay with friendly staff with clean and well decorated rooms. The ambiance and the complimentary breakfast was an excellent way to spend our wedding anniversary. We will definitely return again the next time we are in the Dallas area.
- 5/5
Absolutely beautiful and in a great location. We hope to return.
- 5/5
Quaint Clean Delicious food Comfortable Spacious Garden
- 5/5
Great gem in Arlington. Walkable to the stadium and entertainment. Nice restaurants around. The facilities are beautiful, and the staff is great.
- 5/5
Would come back here in a heartbeat! Super helpful and friendly staff, really cool room, comfortable bed and nice linens. Easy parking and walking distance to AT&T stadium. Would love to experience the restaurant and spa next time!
- 5/5
A true hidden treasure! Wow!
- 5/5
Our stay at the Sanford House Inn and Spa was one of the best experiences I have had. The Inn itself is lovely and gracious, our suite was beautiful, clean and comfortable, and the food--both the taste and presentation--was wonderful. We also took advantage of the spa services, which were excellant as well. The best part, though, were the people! Everyone was friendly, efficient and worked to make our stay with them an excellant experience. We are already making plans for a return stay.
- 4/5
Helpful staff. Large room.
- 5/5
This place was amazing. The entire staff was great. Van is awesome. We will be back to see the Cowboys again next year and will be staying here for sure.
- 5/5
Everything was incredible. Thanks for the peace and quiet
- 4/5
The place is beautiful and spotless. I chose it for convenience to AT&T Stadium and it was perfect for that. Being able to walk back was great. There was no choice for breakfast, it was pleasant enough but would have preferred something like yoghurt and Granola as an option. Everyone was very kind and allowed me to stay in the bar area after check out for 2 hours, which I really appreciated. Book early would be my advice if Cowboys game is your desire,
- 4/5
Overall it was great! I notice the small things. Examples: Dirt and grim in light switches, strain on the ceiling in the bathroom. The room that we were in was very nice and comfortable other than to much light coming in around the window shades from outside of the building for us to sleep well. That being said we are county folk and are accustomed to it being very dark when we go to bed. All of the staff that we interacted with were fantastic, very friendly and accommodating. The gentleman that served us breakfast was fantastic, super friendly and respectful! You should give him a raise!!
- 5/5
Attractive hôtel well run
- 5/5
Excellent experience from start to finish. The staff was attentive and friendly, and both the bar and dinner menus impressed us. My wife and I love boutique-style spots—this one is a gem we’ll revisit soon!
- 5/5
It was a great stay.
- 5/5
Wow, won’t stay anywhere else if in the area again, beautiful place! Awesome bed! Nice hot shower, even had us some cookies waiting on us when we walked in the door, if I had to say anything negative is they didn’t tell us they were having a wedding reception right outside our windows, we left for a while and when we returned the party was over so it really wasn’t that bad! But I could see it being bad if someone was trying to sleep!
- 5/5
This was such a cute vintage place. The patio is beautiful and the dining area is beautiful. Breakfast is great. They even modified it for me because I don’t eat meat. My only complaint is that they did not let us check in earlier. Check-in was at three and the game started at three so I would’ve loved to have changed in my room, but they did offer to take care of my bags. Would definitely come back. The staff was very nice. One of my favorite thing was all the stuff in the bathroom from shower caps to robes.
- 5/5
Loved the jacuzzi tub.
- 5/5
Beautiful Room Great atmosphere and outdoor surroundings Friendly Staff TV set up
- 5/5
The rooms are so nice, confortable and clean. I love this hotel. And the breakfast was so good.
- 5/5
We were greeted to a warm welcome from the moment we entered the property by Eleanor. She was lovely and gracious. We were given clear and easy to follow instructions to our Cottage, which was beautiful. Loved all the outdoor seating and plants around the property as well. We sat outside and enjoyed the garden, and later that evening went to a Cowboys game. The team couldn't have made it easier, with a shuttle almost directly to the front entrance, and pick up afterwards. It was a fantastic day, and we will be back. Loved the tranquility and historic value of the property. Thank you to all of you. Nothing at all. Our stay was exceptional.
- 4.5/5
The breakfast was excellent! I would defiantly go back and stay again if I find myself needing a place to stay in Arlington. The room I booked didn't have a refrigerator in it. There was one in the library that was a community fridge.
- 4/5
We had a really nice stay and it was close to the ATT Stadium, reason for our visit. We were just disappointed the bar and dining were not open.
- 5/5
Excellent customer service skills, all staff was great! Breakfast was really good!
- 5/5
The breakfast on Monday morning! Bacon egg and cheese burrito! The cup of mixed fruit saved us!
- 5/5
The room was great but needed a small sofa so that we could watch tv. It needed a small refrigerator also.
- 5/5
Quiet, clean, friendly
- 5/5
Always great place to stay. Location is the best!
- 5/5
The property is beautiful and all of the property staff were courteous and helpful. Our cottage was wonderful. The only complaint is that the "complementary breakfast was most disappointing - pancakes prepared in a toaster served with almost warm scrambled eggs and a piece of bacon. This alone would not keep us from staying there again - just will find another place to have breakfast
- 5/5
Great value for an outstanding property.
- 5/5
Staff was very nice and helpful. Cottages were very nice, felt safe as well.
- 5/5
This little hotel is beautiful and unique! The staff was so friendly and helpful, will definitely stay here again
- 5/5

Cant wait to go back again next year for my partner's birthday!
- 5/5
Warm welcome! Extremely friendly and accommodating staff!!! Easy check in!

Hotel was great. Staff was extremely friendly. Definitely would stay there again.
- 3/5

- 5/5
Excellent food and service! Best staff!
- 5/5
Anniversary trip. Beautiful bed and breakfast property.
- 5/5
we had a very nice, but short (one night) stay. The Inn is lovely, everyone was friendly and helpful, and we loved the court yard! We were a little surprised there was no elevator, but we managed to get our luggage upstairs without too much trouble.
- 4/5
Staff was super friendly and helpful. Hotel was easy access to event and had shuttle service for a fee. Hotel a little dated and could use some upgrades.
- 5/5
What a stunning hidden gem! The Stanford House Inn and Spa is absolutely breathtaking! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed spending our first wedding anniversary here. It was a delightful, serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We felt as though we were part of a fairytale set in an enchanted forest. Definitely looking forward to staying here again!
- 5/5
Relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff,privacy
- 4/5
Breakfast was great
- 5/5
Very nice would stay there again
- 4.5/5
Unique venue, beautiful gardens, excellent breakfast freshly served scrambled eggs, bacon, 2 pancakes & dish of 6 fruits , very comfortable large room with personal key codes to enter. Shuttle service to AT&T Stadium MAJOR BONUS, super friendly staff. Van Anderson (the van driver) made pick up / drop off easy & fun! Don’t know the front desk lady’s name, maybe the owner, but she was super gracious & friendly The worst we can say is the exterior railings needed a little cleaning.
- 5/5
My only regret was that the restaurant wasn't open, even though they were sold out.
- 5/5
Nice stay Nice hot breakfast
- 5/5
Wonderful property! Clean and quiet. Close to AT&T Stadium. They also have a shuttle to the stadium.
- 5/5
We absolutely loved our first time at Sanford House! The atmosphere…the food…the people. Everything was amazing. We will definitely be back!
- 3.5/5
It is a nice place in Arlington - Arlington itself is not necessarily the nice. Restaurant is very good indeed. Value for money? 6/10. Treatments in the Spa is very good, We stayed in one of the cottages, not the main house itself. A somewhat autocratic pre check in communication.
- 4.5/5
I liked everything with the place. In particular the staff, they were really helpful and very accommodating and kind. In the room I stayed in there were no power outlets next to the bed so it was difficult to charge the phone and have it next to the bed. However this is a no issue really but would have been nice.
- 4.5/5
The location. Near Centre street there is a lot of activities but tons of accidents.
- 5/5
My gosh the beds!. The blanket underneath the bed sheets with a similar bed covers. ? it. One tiny thing is the phone, at the Riveria. I don't ever use it, but it's still missing a power cable/power adapter. Perhaps it is hidden.
- 5/5
It was awesome. Will definetly stay there again and the food was GREAT!
- 5/5
Just got back from a a long weekend getaway for my husband and myself. We really our stay here. We stayed in the Beethoven room. Very private, quiet and romantic with fireplace. Comfy beds and robes. Friendly, helpful staff and the area is so quiet and safe. We easily walked to AT&t stadium for a game. Would definitely recommend for quiet getaway. SPA across street was very nice also. We had mani/pedi and the ladies there were highly skilled & very friendly and welcoming. Thank you!
- 5/5
This was the perfect, intimate getaway for my husband and I! The place was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Even without the Christmas decorations it is beautiful. They are great with communication and super friendly. The food was so good and fresh. We went to a cowboys game and they had a shuttle for us that was incredibly convenient. I highly recommend staying here!! We stayed in the Brahms room and it was pretty big for us. Very clean and perfect.
- 5/5
This place is such a gem! We stayed in the Vivaldi Room and it was cozy, clean and very comfortable! We didn’t have to go far because the restaurant was right down stairs. The food is amazing! The staff is very friendly and very helpful. We already thought about planning another stay! Definitely earned its spot as our go-to when in the area!
- 5/5
This property is like walking into a Hallmark movie! First of all, it’s decorated with antiques and oil paintings. It was Christmas card ready with an exquisite array of trees and garland overflowing with ornaments and ribbon inside and out! The staff is warm and caring. The food is outstanding and obviously a local favorite. From the rooms being named not numbered (we were in the Mozart room), to the room’s diary left on the secretary full of thought and joys from previous patrons, I could not count the delights this Inn offered us. And we didn’t even have a chance to enjoy the spa! This will definitely be a place we will return to!
- 5/5
If I had a con the room we were in had thin walls so you could hear everything and it was on the front of the house so it was bright in the AM even with the shades closed. But this absolutely would not deter me from staying here again. It was an incredible experience.
- 5/5
Highly recommend..it is like being in a Hallmark movie at Christmas time! Beautiful!
- 5/5
Beautiful facility, impeccable decorated for the holidays. Excellent service and a great restaurant on-site.
- 5/5
The old bed was crickety but that just ads to the old fee.
- 5/5
Absolutely perfect stay and location
- 5/5
This is one of the best if not the best B&B we have stayed at. The staff was excellent; the food superb, rooms were clean and nicely appointed. We stayed two nights while attending the Dallas Cowboys game. The shuttle driver was fantastic, van Anderson (the driver) is a real gem. Thank you for a very pleasant stay.
- 5/5
My favorite place to stay in Arlington. They have a shuttle if you are going to a Cowboy’s game.
- 5/5
Elegantly furnished, friendly helpful staff, and delicious breakfast! I would highly recommend Sanford House!
- 5/5
Elegant decor, friendly and helpful staff, overall a very comfortable and enjoyable experience!
- 5/5
Nice place breakfast was terrible
- 5/5
Came down to watch the Lions stomp the Cowboys, Stadium was in walking distance.
- 4.5/5
Food was delightful. Charming hosts. Little kitchenette helped immensely, w nice size mini fridge, since we were local staying while our house was re-roofed. Our pups loved the garden spaces. Honestly, the bathroom needs a little attention on shower grout, place for soap and shampoo in the shower, shower head is loose but otherwise quite lovely.
- 5/5
Wonderful people, outstanding room and the location was ideal.
- 5/5
Nice super friendly place with great food!
- 5/5
We had a very nice stay
- 5/5
It was a beautiful room and the staff was excellent. Will definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Very nice, quiet and nice outdoor area for sitting/ relaxing. Great breakfast!!
- 5/5
Awesome place to stay when you’re in Arlington.
- 5/5
Rooms were reasonable, clean and comfortable. Food was delicious! Staff were welcoming and Van the shuttle driver was very entertaining. We will definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
Rooms were very large. We really enjoyed the breakfast downstairs.
- 5/5
We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Sanford House! Highly recommend the spa, as well!
- 5/5
This was such a cute place to stay! The staff was amazing and the room was cozy. We came for a concert at AT&T stadium and the location was perfect. We used the shuttle and Van was very attentive and made sure we were all safe and on the shuttle at the end of the night. Van The Man had us back to the hotel while thousands of people were still waiting on rides. We had brunch at Restaraunt 506 on Saturday morning and everything was delicious. We will stay again!
- 5/5
Great staff
- 5/5
Rooms were great, plenty of room and excellent continental breakfast.
- 5/5
Easy check in. Easy to get to where we were going
- 5/5
Very nice place to stay. Staff are very friendly, rooms are great with lots of character, all for the same price of ordinary hotels.
- 5/5
Excellent hosts and amenities. Transportation to AT&T stadium events was simple, Texas Live within walking or short Uber ride. Would stay there again.
- 5/5
Sanford House Inn & Spa is just lovely! It was the perfect place to stay prior to an event at AT&T Stadium and the even had a shuttle to pick us up after the concert. The room was super comfortable though a king sized bed would have been nice. Not a necessity though! The courtyard and overall grounds are adorable!
- 5/5
Went for concert walked to the stadium the Stanford was amazing can’t wait to go back.
