It was a very good stay with helpful staff.

ROACHES! The room had quite a few baby roaches. The hallways smelled like marijuana. The bathroom wasn't cleaned well, had hair on the floor, mirrors were dirty, the tub was chipping away, and the shower head was horrible. There is a "bar" in the hotel so about 2am we got woke up by people being loud in the hallway for about 30 min. Over all you can definitely find something better for the price!

The first night we were given a room on the ground floor with a window view of the back parking lot. There is a small screen TV that doesn’t work. We asked to be moved but they were fully booked as BTS group was having a concert at the AT&T stadium which is very close to the hotel. Our 2nd night they moved us to the top floor with a bigger tv that worked. The room is ok, clean and quiet.

I had a wonderful experience at the Lux Hotel in Arlington, Texas! From the moment I arrived, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and professional. Everyone I encountered went out of their way to make sure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel itself was beautiful, clean, and well maintained. My room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. You can really tell that the hotel takes pride in keeping the property in great condition. The pool area was absolutely wonderful—a great place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the Texas weather. The bar was also a great touch, with a nice atmosphere that made it easy to sit back and enjoy yourself. What stood out to me most was the quality of the service. The staff was polite, helpful, and genuinely friendly. Good customer service can make or break a hotel stay, and the Lux Hotel definitely got it right. Overall, I would highly recommend the Lux Hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, relaxing, and enjoyable place to stay in Arlington. Great rooms, great pool, great bar, great atmosphere, and most importantly, great people. I would definitely stay here again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The internet was awful. Hours for the restaurant was awful. Police called Saturday, awful. Toilet flushing, awful. And was stuck in the elevator, awful. Regardless of all of this the staff was accommodating and polite.

Nice hotel for budget vacationers. Great location to sites. Great to stay for a concert or football game - convenient to stadium.

We really enjoyed the pool and bar. And the breakfast in the morning was really good. Everyone was really nice and friendly.

The Hotel was so nice in every way. My husband said he would go back. Our room was convenient to get to and from. The ice machine was close and there was plenty. We had food delivered. The snack store had outdated donuts so I didn't care for that. Thank goodness a Walmart was close!

The fire alarm went off every 30 minutes for about three hours. I had bed bugs. There was basically no food in the morning buffet less than an hour after it started. Management refuses to call me and have not offered anything not even an apology for what happened

To much noise we couldn’t sleep they had the music to loud and the mattress was horrible hard it wasn’t comfortable at all

It's starting to look a little like they need to do renovations soon but it was super clean they went above and beyond for us. And they were packed because of us, BTS Army being there. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was clean and equipped with nice amenities. However, the TV wouldn’t connect or work. Aside from that, the staff was friendly, and the hotel was perfect for returning after a concert with tired feet and legs.

Very nice place, the staff was very courteous, and the location was very close to sixflags and globe life field. I have to say this hotel lets you check in early for an extra fee which i found it very convenient and accessible. Definitely recommend it.

Everything was great location was perfect. If you’re gonna go see the Cowboys or the Rangers or go to Six Flags it’s just one exit away.. But the only downfall about this hotel was the breakfast. I did not care for it at all. I say I give it a two. But everything else was great.

I am pretty sure my room had black mold on the ceilings. On the other hand it was quiet (for a Wed-Fri), the bed was warm and comfortable, the AC cold on a hot day. The towels and free breakfast not so great.

Rough Stay. Arrived and the first room we were given had a strong smell of cigarette smoke and the toilet was dirty from prior use and not cleaned. They moved us to a room that was a little better but still smelled strange. Next, the TV is an internet TV but non functional as the WiFi would not pull more than 2mbps down and less than 1mbps up. The bed was hard, the pillows were flat. Then, when I went to shower the water would not get much warmer than room temperature. All in all, a very poor experience. First and last for me.

I rented two rooms for my family of four and a friend’s family four. We both have young kids so I booked here because of the family friendly reviews and access to a pool to keep the kids entertained. When we got back from dinner on Saturday evening (6:30pm) we were not allowed to use the pool because they scheduled a private pool party at the hotel that wasn’t advertised. I was upset so I spoke to management and was told they would make it up to us by comping our night or something along those lines. I left my information at the desk, but never received the call I was promised to “make it right”. The next day, I asked the front desk and they had no knowledge of the interaction. Hotel was nice but my kids are still upset they couldn’t swim while staying at a hotel. Customer service is about transparency and doing what you say you’re going to do.

1. We never could make our TV work correctly. It was the World Cup, of course we wanted to watch some games on it and we just couldn’t. 2. There was a cockroach in our room. 3. In order to get our room cleaned, we had to let them on know the day of the service before 10:00 am. Positive things were location (very close to major venues such as Six Flags, Dallas AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Stadium.

The hotel needs upgrading. We paid top dollar on a holiday weekend and were quite disappointed. The hotel is outdated. The location is not close to anything. We had to pay to get food or go to any events. The bathroom was very small and not in good shape. The restaurant in the hotel is only open on Saturday and Sunday evenings. Breakfast was served daily but was the worst hotel breakfast we have had, and we have had some bad ones. It had orange juice, coffee, tea, sugar cereal, scrambled eggs, and well done sausage patties. That is it. We paid over $300 a night. Not impressed.

I’m from Mississippi I booked this hotel for the spa upon checking in I was notified that the spa was under construction. I was very displeased and ask for anything to convince my travel the guy said the only thing he can do was cancel the room and he was very rude about it

We will be back! The staff was accommodating, I love the noon check out. There’s a 24 hour gift shop that has many items. It’s an older hotel but is well kept. I do love they provide the individual bottles for body wash, lotion and hair care. It’s in view of Six flags, has a game room for kids (quarters only) and a cool pool area. Breakfast is included but it ends at 9:30am which is really early. They have a restaurant in the hotel. It smells so nice and it’s clean! We will stay here again!

The room was spacious and clean. We were at the end of the hall, so very quiet as well. Bathroom was clean, but small. Breakfast wasn’t great, but included. Pool area was nice, clean and inviting. Staff at the front was very nice and welcoming. The hotel parking lot could use some freshening up, but still nice. It wasn’t as busy as we expected with everything going on over the holiday weekend

This is a nice hotel and the staff is friendly and accommodating. It appears as though at one time, it may have been an exceptional hotel. Today, it's more than functional but not exceptional.

It makes a very good impression. The presentation of the parking area and lobby are excellent. The hotel reception staff are excellent—Ethan deserves special mention. The rooms are very good. The bathrooms and beds are impeccable: clean and looking great. The only slight downside is that the carpets in the hallways and rooms are a bit worn, though still within an acceptable range. The bar, Zuri, is terrible—the worst part; don't even think about going there. I ordered a beer, and the glass was dirty. The table was sticky, and the woman serving looked awful—dressed in a tacky, unprofessional way. She served with a bad attitude. I don't understand how they expect to attract customers there... I give the bar a zero rating. Parking lot of hotel is big and spacious. The distance of Hotel to the stadium is perfect. Average Uber fare: $10. A 5-minute drive away.

The "breakfast buffet" was awful. It was sausage, eggs, and cereal. I wasn't expecting a 5-star resort buffet, but this was absolutely awful and should not be called a buffet. I wouldn't even call it a continental breakfast.

The smell of weed and mold was horrible, definitely not somewhere to take a family , carpets were ripped and stained in room , we were checked in for 10 minutes and checked right back out dirtiest roms I’ve seen in a hotel in a long time. Never will recommend or go back .

This hotel is good. The price reasonable. I felt very safe here. It’s convenient to the stadium and restaurants. Good pool area with patio furniture. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I’d stay there again.

We stayed two nights and our room key was only programmed for night. So when I got to my room after being out most of the day on day two and getting to my room only to not have my key work was very frustrating. The receptionist tried to blame it on our cellphone demagnitizing the key but our keys were never in contact with our room key. So when I contacted the front desk to tell her about it, she did not offer to bring up another key. We had to go back down to get our keys. I consider this to be poor customer service. The ice machine on the lobby floor was broken and they only had two machines, one on lobby for and one on 5th flr. We were on the 4th floor. Other than that it was a decent stay.

My stay was very good . We went to soccer game at ATT STADIUM .The stadium was 8 minutes away from hotel. My room was clean and staff very helpful. The a/c was good will definitely stay here again.

Everything was mostly good however when we arrived, the air conditioner was not in our room so it was very hot and smelled stale and took a while to cool down and get the smell out. The restaurant was smoky and dingy, but the food was good. Everything else in the hotel was fine however, on our last day, I saw a mouse in the elevator. I alerted the front desk and they did not seem super concerned and he gave me a free bag of M&Ms for my trouble and that was it likely will not be staying here again due to the mice issue.

This place looked good from the outside into the lobby, but that is where it stops. The so called breakfast every day was plastic tasting flat sausage and powder eggs, toast and orange juice that taste like water that’s it. The air condition in the room leaked with water on the carpet. It stayed there for the whole time we were there. No maid service, no fresh towels.

Advertised as a hotel and spa. Never saw a spa anywhere. Instead we were greeted with a huge loud party at the attached convention center that was not known about. The party when on until 11:00 pm. We were in what was listed as a family suite but the party music was so loud it vibrated the walls and our family could not sleep until I was over. Not ideal for the baby or the older children. The air conditioning was old and just on the exterior wall so it did not cool the kids room or the bathroom at all. The breakfast that was included was minimal, coffee, cereal, toast and eggs, no fruit or anything fresh. The whole place smelled odd and the carpet seemed to need to be shampooed. The one good thing I can say is the location good. We will not be returning to this hotel.

Wifi did not work. Power bar for the microwave, tv refrigerator, light did not work so we had to take turns with the outlet . Shower curtain rod was falling down. Shower faucet did not work correctly. Room key stoped working after first night of first of two night stay.

The rooms were clean and spacious, but the staff were the best part. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, approachable, and helpful. Also, it was 5 minute drive from Texas Live, Rangers and AT&T Stadiums.We would definitely stay there again.

Room was ok, shower pretty rugged peeling. Fire trucks when we got there for a broken elevator, no breakfast, location in facility and price to the stadium was nice. It worked fine for my kid and I for the Cowboys game but I don’t think I would bring my family here.

The room was mediocre. Something you would expect at a cheaper motel. There was water damage on the ceiling and a questionable minor and small hole in the floor that was covered by the rug. The bathroom was comically small. And regardless of what time we would wake up the breakfast bar was nonexistent yet the area was still in the lobby. Not worth the price whatsoever despite how fancy it looked in the lobby. If I didn’t get the Black Friday discount, I would not have booked this hotel.

The room was nice and comfortable, however, when I was brushing my teeth, a roach crawled up from the sink. I couldn’t wait to go back to my home. We checked out at 630am the next day. After seeing the roach, I just didn’t feel clean or comfortable

When we returned from our outing, police were responding to an incident involving pepper spray at the on-site club, which made the property feel unsafe. Maintenance issues were also noticeable: the shower head and pipe were loose in the wall, and the lobby coffee machine was broken. The only real positive was the motel’s close proximity to AT&T Stadium. Otherwise, the overall experience fell short, and several improvements are needed.

I broke my back was in Hospital and never stayed there and hotel would not refund.

We stayed in room 630 myself and my entire family woke up with bed bug bites.. highly disappointed we have stayed before and have never had an issue. We asked for a refund because we did not sleep comfortably and we let them know about the bites and we are still fighting for a refund.

Salon wasnt open. Room key cards kept shutting off, making us go back downstairs to get into our room. No breakfast. No indoor pool. Room smelled musty and like animals lived in there.

The toilet overflowed and maintenance never showed up. The hairdryer and iron didn’t work and replacements were never brought up as promised. The elevators were use at your own risk and i personally got stuck in one.

The staff was the only thing that makes this place work. First room was flooded to the hallway. The second room our light fixtures started to leak and flood our room due to rain. We were in the 2nd floor as well and it just baffled me. I actually have video of the leak. The room was not clean. Soap from previous guest was still in the shower along with hair. Thank God i am alarm on my phone because apparently the power went out in the room as well. I did speak to the staff while checking out and I'm demanding a refund. Anything that close to the stadium is questionable. But it should not have a 3 star rating. If so it's only due to the staff.

I had to change rooms because of the smell in my original room. There was brown stains on the lamp shade and at the bottom of the sheets.The tub was stained with something I couldn’t tell what it was. The hallway smell bad and the floor. The staff was very nice and professional needed to vacuum

Upgrade TV’s to smart ones by now guest should have a device that screen cast or mirror the first floor has a channels when floor 3/4 gets 3-5. Any time housekeeping goes in any room all electrical amenities should be checked & initialed by the housekeeper whom verified it’s working. There is no reason why there are blow dryers hanging in the bathroom for decoration . Fix the drain in the handicapped accessible rooms. A person is already disable why is there more water coming outside the tub than in the drain a small placard by the shower saying slippery when wet; handicapped accessible room with that much back flow of was slip is problem drowning of a small child is another. If that one drain isn’t enough put more in. Common sense to prevent more injuries or death.

I did like the bar area that was cool. No more transport to the game like in the past and A/C blew musty smelling air. Shower was slippery very dangerous no rails to grab on to stop your fall. Not as good as it was 10 years ago.

Overall it was a good stay! Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. I feel that the housekeeping could have been a lot better. We had to ask for fresh towels, set out our trash to be emptied and make our own bed. We stayed here as it was close to get to everything including the stadium!

I had to change rooms. My "suite" had burnt carpet spots, and the comforter had spots on it. The furniture is extremely outdated, as well as the carpet. The shower had a slow drain. I didn't even report because I was tired of the disappointment.

The spa was closed for construction. No notification or notice on website. Received a new room but the bath tub jets did not function either. Overall bad stay for the price

Large facility with low volume of guests. I'm sure during summer months and weekends, they are busier since they are close to Six Flags. Facility and parking lot were clean. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. There was an area for complimentary breakfast but none was served. On site restaurant was not open. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable.

1. Check in was smooth 2. Room smelled like smoke(pot) and asked for another room but was told none was available 3. Told by desk clerk she would call the manager to see what could be offered to make up for this but never contacted. 4. The room had two AC's but even with both going, the room never got cold enough to sleep comfortably. 5. Appears that the previous guest opened up the window near the bed to smoke pot and left the end of his blunt on the window ledge. Showed front desk and they just blew it off. 6. When we checked in only one of the two elevators was working, the next day both were down. Staff did not offer any advice or assistance to get luggage down to checkout. When confronting front desk was told "sorry" but body language clearly stated he did not care. 7. When checking out we were brushed aside because the clerk did not speak english. Well my wife speaks spanish... But same clerk was happy to help other guests that were Hispanic while we were made to wait (FOR CHECKOUT!!!) 8. We asked again to have a manager call us about our concerns, was assured they would but never was.

Horrible hotel, do not recommend. Service was terrible, room smelled of mildew and was covered up by a terrible spray. Bedding is from the 70’s, smaller bathroom ever, hotel restaurant horrendous, served raw chicken, staff was not trained, restaurant “manager” didn’t know how to use the TOAST POS to do a void, commandeer (security guard) tried to intimidate with his gun, raised his voice at us and tried to arrest one of my friends for asking for an itemized receipt to show proof the void had been done properly, the general manager was useless and must’ve been picked from a random pile or resumes because he was the worst, did not acknowledge our concerns, brushed off the fact that we needed our tab voided, did not care at all about what we brought up and basically kicked us out of the hotel. We didn’t even stay at the hotel. We grabbed our stuff and left instead.

Not enjoyable, sitting in the lobby, listening to the manager yell at an employee in front of everyone and then when I called him out on it without being unprofessional, he told me to mind my business, and I didn’t know what I was talking about. Rooms definitely need to be updated the springs in the bed I could fill The ceiling is peeling and so is the wallpaper.

Vizio television made me feel right at home, but the wi-fi was terrible. Bathroom was cramped, but water pressure was decent. Overall, a nice hotel.

Room wasn’t clean. Heavy dust like someone was sanding the ceiling everywhere. Carpet wasn’t vacuumed. You could tell by the amount of dust on it. Homeless camp living beside hotel. Elevator trapped me in it for 10 minutes. Poor experience. Pretty disappointed for how much I spent.

Staff was very friendly and polite.

Room was clean, staff was friendly. Hotel is easily accessible from the freeway and parking was abundant. It woukd be nice if they put extra towels in the room when they know the guest checking in will be staying multiple days so you dont have to ask for more on your second or third day.

The place is very nice inside. Unfortunately there were 2 thing that werent up to expectations..1 is there is no breakfast only coffee.. and the other thing that I found a bit upsetting is the bathtub. It would clogged up slowly.. so when I took a shower I would be standing in a puddle.

Lux was very nice, the lobby is great and the meeting room was good for our group. Rooms are fine. Close to lots of restaurants or DoorDash.

Business trip on a holiday weekend but it was fine. Hotel was busy but everything was great. Quite location. So close to Ranger Stadium!

I like the neatness of this hotel. Things made easy for me. Despite all the big name hotels close by, Lux really delivered. I was impressed with the facility. Like they say, never judge a book by its cover. Nice place.

No breakfast, even though it was advertised. Outside, you’ve got a loud train running by and a parking lot full of semis and trailers. There’s also a bar/club that brings in a small crowd, making the place feel even less family-friendly. If you’re looking for relaxation or a clean stay, avoid this hotel. Definitely not worth the money.

room was clean. bed was horribly uncomfortable. Pillow case was torn. Old property, not super well maintained. def did not feel it was worth the cost. reservation said it came with breakfast but there was no breakfast, not even continental…. I wasnt impressed and next time we go to a cowboys game we def wont stay here even though it is literally on the other side of the highway.

The hotel was outdated. Lobby was clean. Staff was friendly. There is a convenience store open 24/7. The room was very humid! Everything felt moist. The bedding the slippery tile in the bathroom etc. Mild mold on the shower curtain. The carpet was old and felt wet. Left my shoes on. The pool was nice. Friday night was quiet. Saturday night was noisy. It is right next to a train yard. When I got home all our clothes felt moist from the humidity trapped in the room. I had photos from a wedding that were warped from moisture!

The bathtub was dirty with scum and stains. House keeping came to clean the tub. But now I’m paranoid thinking this room was never cleaned, how do I know the linens were changed. Asked to switch rooms which was done without issue

The restaurant was closed on mondays. Free breakfast was not included.

The website made the hotel appear to be in a very nice area when in fact, it was not. I traveled with my son who is 12 years old and he was too scared to go and eat continental breakfast or even leave the room without a weapon because he was scared of the dangerous atmosphere hanging around the outside and inside of the lobby. Our bathroom did not work and the TV was very out of date. but the bed was very comfortable, and the manager was very nice and gave a tour of the facility.

This place is definitely not as advertised. it’s in a difficult place to get to and not many dining options. Close to the property. There is a very noisy train track right on the north side. The check-in process was ridiculous. I will definitely not stay at this place again.

Great place. Quite and clean. It's about a 2 mile walk to the stadiums but felt safe walking back after the event.

The top sheets were stained. The room smelt of urine. Not once did house keeping try to come and clean the room or switch sheets/towels.

We had to change rooms 3 times due to air conditioning not working only to be given a dirty room to whi h the front dest did not care whatsoever the hotel was supposed to have breakfast it did not have anything no vending machines staff was un caring offered no remedy to dirty room condition and i left with a 50 mystery charge on my debit card and cant get a reason do the charge I will not ever stay hete again nor do i recommend it to others

Didn't like the steps in the entrance to the hotel. The ramp was kind of steep. Hardly any room in front to park my vehicle to unpack or pack. There was a vehicle parked there the whole time. Bathroom had a tub with no non slip pad. Prefered a walk in shower. Remote for tv had no volume control. Keys didn't work the 2nd day.

The pictures online did not match the property. I have corporate executives with me on this business trip and I felt as if the quality of this hotel was poor. The front desk attentant around 10 AM on Saturday 7/27 was rude in nature. Not a place we will return.

This is one of our favorite hotels in DFW! The staff is friendly and very accommodating. The hotel is beautiful! Beds are comfortable and the rooms have a good amount of space.

The personnel at the hotel were all wonderful. Two disappointments, though: 1) the windows to the outside didn't do enough to keep out the loud freeway noise. I can't remember the last time I stayed someplace where this much noise came in 2) the bed was huge but I couldn't get comfortable.

Chose this hotel primarily for location close to my meeting. Also because the website listed a really nice restaurant. On arrival... in time for dinner... I found the door to the restaurant locked... front desk informed me the restaurant would not be opening. No breakfast available either. Coffee machine in my room did not work and the coffee available in the lobby was awful. The juice machine next to the coffee machine did not work either. I checked out one night early.

I got to the room

The room was clean but hot and smelled like mildew. Turns out the ac leaks really bad. No one came by our room to clean even with the “service this room” sign on the door and telling the lady after she asked. Other than that the front desk staff was nice.

We booked this hotel for a work function nearby, which was a big event. We chose the deluxe king room, based largely on how nice it looked in the pictures. Reality dictated otherwise. Our room was hot and musty when we entered, since the a/c was off. At 95 F outside, it took a while to cool down. The furniture and carpet were quite worn and dated, but the bed was good and comfortable. The kitchenette was very minimally equipped. The staff were all very nice, but due to the magnitude of our evening's event, I should have perhaps done more research and found a hotel better suited to our occasion.

Great location from Globe Life Field with nearby restaurants. Room was cool and clean with comfortable firm beds. There was a 24 hour convenience store. We did not get to enjoy the breakfast because we slept in but would stay here again!

Really love the beds very comfortable. The swimming pool was very nice. Also everything is clean everybody's house.

The hotel was fine. I just didn’t like the proximity of the highway where the exit didn’t allow you much time to get over to the entrance. When there is traffic it’s difficult. I know there are two entrances so that helped. I do feel like the outside of the hotel needed some maintenance. The rooms were fine for the price we paid. I did feel safe.

I was traveling solo and got a sketchy feeling coming and going. There were always numerous people loitering in the parking lot. The room was great and property was clean. The outside of property could have used some work.

Beautiful hotel with an awesome pool and cabana area. Room was spacious and the king bed was super comfortable.

The hotel was great, the bathroom could use sonlme paint. The paint in the shower was peeling. Other than than it was a great stay

The beds were so comfy, the front desk ladies were very nice and helpful. The only drawback was the bathrooms were so small, and the tub was way taller than the floor. I almost fell out of it while getting out from the distance.
