Hyatt Place Dallas/Arlington

I liked the location, the price, and the friendly nature of the staff. Our room smelled musty and the AC unit rattled off and on, made it a little hard to fall asleep.

Very convenient to AT & T stadium. We were only there for a weekend. Elevators seemed a little slow but other than that, it was a great stay.

Great place to stay near the ballpark. We went for a concert and were very comfortable there. Building was well maintained and very comfortable. Breakfast was a plus. Staff very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Trolley shuttle to the Rangers Ballpark (Globe light Field), good sized room, gym and pool on-site. Location is convenient for those going to Six Flags or nearby sports venues, however,there are no restaurants close by, so we had to drive to eat.

the one good thing i thoroughly enjoyed was the water pressure in the shower! better than at home! Rain, the guy at the front desk, was very welcoming & represented the establishment very well. I felt good about leaving my car outside and it was safe. i always take disinfecting wipes, but at this location, we almost used ALL OF THEM. The tables, desks, countertops bedside tables all needed to be wiped down. while sitting on the bed, i noticed outside the bathroom door, smudges. i used a wipe to see if it was dirt, and the wipe was DIRTY! I used a couple more wipes on the door and thought, no more. believe me, that room was cleaner when we left than the way we found it. DISGUSTING! Smudges on the bathroom light fixture.

Close to why I was in Arlington. To go to a Texas ranger game. Bathroom seem small. Had to menuver to get to the shower once you open the door.

The hotel was clean and convenient to local attractions. The front desk personnel were great.

It was a nice quick stay. Only reason why we gave 4 stars is the room we originally had smelled like butt and had a leak coming from the AC unit that saturated most of the sleeping area floor. The gentleman at the desk apologized and quickly assigned us to a new room. Great stay for families and it is so close to all things Arlington.

Everything was perfect! The only thing I would add was that my room needed a microwave.

Very clean room & amenities. Staff was welcoming, very accommodating, warm & friendly. Just a short walk from Six Flags (less than 10 min). Very nice area with plenty of places to eat in walking or short driving distance and the hotel has a bar & grill. The breakfast was definitely worth mentioning. You would pay $15+ a plate anywhere in town for breakfast like that. Plenty of options & Very good, not just for a hotel breakfast, good in general. 5☆ all the way. I won't stay anywhere else when I'm in the Dallas area again.

The front desk person, Rain, was so awesome and professional. He was doing 3 jobs. Front desk, bartender, and cook. This man needs a raise. I wish I had people like him at my company.

We got a room for a baseball game and the location is close to Global life field making it the perfect spot. The Staff were friendly and the room was clean. Don’t know if it was room specific but the ac unit was too close to one bed and the restroom light was too dim, but other than that it was a great room.

Everything was great other than the people gathering the trash from the trash cans being rude.

Several maintenance and comfort issues affected our experience. The television was not working properly, and the available programming was very limited. The vanity sink did not have hot water, and there were no convenient power outlets accessible from the desk area. The bathroom layout was extremely cramped. The toliet and shower are was so small that I had to stand in the shower to open and close the door from the inside. In addition housekeeping failed to replenish the coffee supplies for our second night. We were also disappointed with the food and beverage offerings. The hotel staff advertised a happy hour, but after ordering drinks we learned that only a very limited selection qualified for the promotion. The resturant menu was already limited and when we attempted to order one of the few items that appealed to us, we were informed that it was not available. Overall there were too many service, maintenance, and hospitality shortcomings for the price that we paid. Unfortunately, we would not choose to stay here again.

A very nice property, clean and right next to Six Flags Park, Globe Life baseball field and Texas Cowboys Stadium. Well staffed, very friendly, excellent breakfast with hot food items and a small bar. Friendly cleaning staff as well.

Toilet Flusher needs replacement , it was loose inside Tank .

My first room was extremely muggy and humid. They moved my room. That one had a high pitched electronic tone throughout the whole room. They moved me again. The next room had ants. The last room was ok but nothing is new and pretty. The fixtures are old, not everything works, its overall gross.

Had a great experience.(Mr Rain was fantastic). Great help not just with myself with everybody that came through that door , sat in the lobby about 45 minutes and he was helpful with everybody.

Everything was excellent accept when we went to check in we waited almost 30 minutes for any staff to arrive to the front desk.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hyatt Place Dallas/Arlington. My first day there, my blood sugar dropped and I went to the front desk and Sherrie was the clerk and I told that I was a diabetic and I needed something to eat. She helped me to get something and when she saw me later she asked how I was doing.

The breakfast buffet was fresh and had good options. You could choose a real plate and silverware as well. The staff was very helpful and attentive.

We chose this hotel because we were going to the Rangers game the location was well within walking distance of the baseball game and the rates were what I consider very reasonable for the location; however, once we arrived the young lady at the front desk informed us that there was a trolly stop right out front that provided service to and from the game and the hotel provided free passes, very nice surprise. The hotel is also right next to Six Flags and AT&T Stadium is also easily accessible, plus the hotel has free parking!. The staff was great, the rooms were new and clean, everything worked and the complimentary breakfast was very good. We will be staying here in the future.

I was there for only one night. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. The bathroom was really small and dated, but clean. Would stay again.

Everything was very good to great. Only recommendation is the staff be up to speed on availability of the trolley transportation. The check-in staff didn't know and as guest we didn't know to ask. We just stumbled on the availability ourselves.

Pool closed? Room had multiple items ripped out of the wall (shower hook, deadbolt), I asked for a luggage cart and was told no and had to carry around a 50# cooler. A large group screamed all weekend all hours of the night from the time I checked in until check 2 days later. Not a Doubletree environment at all and more a Super 8 or Red Roof.

Clean room with just enough space. Everything you need for a quick stay. Safe neighborhood and easy parking.

They had a morning meeting in the breakfast area which was kind of loud and annoying, but what I thought I was was very rude it was that one gentleman who works there just took a chair from my breakfast table without asking anything and just sat down as if nothing happened.

Cons:bathroom was very small and tub didn’t drain well, sink faucet was loose, mini fridge made high pitched terrible sound, one of the chargers didn’t work, TV quality was terrible with several broken channels and no kids programming, just sports and news and couple history or discovery channels. Picture quality was awful. Not why we came but really needs to be updated. Pool area was nice but too cold to use, understandably in March.

Great location and the breakfast is great. Only thing I would say is our bathroom was a little small for a room that had the space to fit six people.

This hotel has the best staff. Sherry serviced our group throughout the weekend and she was very accommodating & friendly. The breakfeast provides ample options. I also liked the fact they had bowls and plates that could be used for the room. The stay was pleasant with the suite style room including space for snacks and a sink to wash dishes in! I will definitely go back.

When we went to check in the sofa bed was pulled out but they quickly changed us to a new room and were very apologetic about it. Staff was very professional and nice. Gave us restaurant recommendations. Hotel was nice and clean. Breakfast had lots of variety and very good.

I and my family of 6 stayed for 12 nights in this hotel while visiting family. The hotel is very nice and our room was very comfortable and spacious. However, Breakfast could be a bit better with some cooked options, meaning that all the warm food options were all frozen items that staff just heats up. Then, there was a certain housekeeper that when up on our floor, she would skip cleaning our room or if she did “clean it,”she would not make the beds. Lastly, it would be nice if there was coin washing/dryer machines. Other than that, our stay was amazing, staff is very courteous and professional, I would book again!
