I booked a double queen. When we got to our room we found the bathroom door had been removed and replaced with a sliding door that was transparent. Also does not fully close and “latch” does not lock. I went to desk and told them that was not acceptable and was told it was because it’s a handicap room and that’s what I booked. I told them I did not book a handicap room I booked a double queen. I was told “yes, that is a double queen”. I told them I need a different room as I’m traveling with 2 other adults and a child and no one is disabled and was told they were booked so I would just have to stay in that room. No apologies, no refund, no discount…I was beyond upset! Will NEVER stay here again!
- 4/5
It was useful for a concert at the AT&T stadium, but not very walkable. Renting a car is highly suggested staying here.
- 5/5
Everything was excellent. I would recommend complimentary breakfast though. All in all, it was an excellent stay!!
- 4/5
Attended a concert at AT&T Stadium which was walkable from the hotel. So location is probably the top pro of this hotel. It was clean and staff was helpful and friendly. Wifi was not consistent throughout stay.
- 5/5
Large, clean rooms in a great area. Located right off the highway, not only are you less then a mile away from two amusement parks, but also a row of restaurants for all taste's. It was a little noisy overlooking the pool, but families were respectful of the times it was open.
- 4/5
Nice hotel… not extravagant. But nice
- 1/5
This place say free complimental breakfast but when I get there I ask what time breakfast is available and they guy tell me we do have any just coffee the show laked water all night long the room smells like mildew just not great please I will not stay here again I trave for work as medical devices transport from state
- 4/5
The room was clean and had a comfortable bed with great linens. Was convenient to the highway but that was the one downside for me - traffic was loud and I’m a light sleeper so it kept me awake. But for the money the quality of room was great.
- 5/5
I had an amazing stay! The staff were welcoming and very respectful and helpful! This was not my first stay and will not be my last.
- 4/5
Basic hotel but super close to six flags
- 4/5
This is a basic, no frills hotel. I chose it as it is close to the ballpark. We were in town for a game. I would stay again if we are in town for a game. It is convenient if going to a Ranger or Cowboys game.

We had a great stay at Howard Johnson by Wyndham Arlington Ballpark / Six Flags in Arlington, Texas. Everything was clean and comfortable, making it a perfect place for a quick visit. The location was very convenient, and we especially loved being able to take the nearby trolley ride to the stadium area. It made getting around easy and stress-free. The staff was friendly, and the hotel had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Arlington!
- 5/5
Wish they had offered breakfast but other than that stay was awesome
- 2/5
It definitely doesn't look as good as the picture but it is just a very old building. the morning we checked out, it didn't smell like sewer anymore. just not my cup of tea.
- 2/5
Hotel smelled horribly. The room wasn’t clean.
- 5/5
Muy buen servicio, limpieza y de fácil acceso a un juego de MLB.
- 4/5
The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was nice and clean. Although the property is outdated it is kept up to date. The only issue we had were the people next to us cussing at each other most of the night.
- 5/5
Nice gym with new equipments. AC was not working during time I was there.
- 4/5
The price is really nice so if you're looking for a clean and quiet hotel for the price, this one is that. They don't put up with any of the smoking crap which I like. It's an older hotel and it's close to the ballpark but it is not that clean. The cleaners left used soap in the shower. The carpet felt a little sticky and it was loud coming from the freeway all night and I didn't sleep very well. If you're a light sleeper I'd say try a different hotel. The bed was comfortable and there was no breakfast but they did have 24-hour coffee.
- 5/5
Clean, friendly and close to the ballpark. Beds were a little hard (for me).
- 3/5
The lobby had a very strong strange bad smell. Our room was farely clean. Very ORANGE!!!!! Beds were not comfortable. Pool was clean and refreshing!
- 1/5
We got there at 5:15pm and the room wasn’t even ready. Would not recommend this hotel at all
- 1/5
The hotel pictures are very deceiving. The hallways had throw up in them, the lobby smelled liked dead animals and they were just super unfriendly. I do NOT recommend this property to anyone.
- 5/5
Great place to stay! Super close to a lot of stuff. Room was nice & clean. Friendly staff! Would for sure recommend.
- 3/5
Location is convenient, close to Six Flags and Globe Life Field Stadium. However, it is still a long walk, at least 20 minutes away from both places. Something else to keep in mind is that it doesn’t serve breakfast and there’s not a lot of food options close by.
- 5/5
Thankful for the trolly system getting us to and from the concert. We forgot our toothpaste and were able to get toothpaste packets from the front desk.
- 5/5
Our stay was great property was clean staff was very helpful and friendly when every we go back we will definitely stay there again .
- 4/5
Hotel is a little old. But nice big rooms very clean
- 5/5
The room was clean
- 5/5
The hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful. The area felt safe and it’s very walkable to Globe Life. It’s also a stop along the trolley line which was a nice feature if you’d rather catch a ride instead of walking.
- 5/5
Very clean rooms and nice pool, We were traveling with kids and it was a safe place for them, I wish you would have served breakfast.
- 5/5
Front staff were great. It was quiet on our floor all night. Room was small but clean. It’s an older building but they’ve done some updates. Good spot to stay.
- 5/5
Clean room, smelled humidity in the hall, but everything was clean
- 4/5
All good

Price
- 4/5
Their is not enough lighting and full body mirrors in room. Some light bulbs weren't even working
- 5/5
Clean tooms
- 3/5
Room was clean except for some rest stuff on the door wouldn't come off. Toilet is very low im average height. Woke up to banging hammers and pipes changing kids running the halls early morning. NO breakfast haven't had it in 5 years. Pool was nice needs repair. Okay for the 3day stay.
- 5/5
Everything especially the housekeeper. She was so polite. The staff during checkout was also polite and courteous

- 4/5
The price was excellent. I think there was a plumbing issue before we arrived and the smell lingered during our stay as things were drying out. As we were checking out, the coffee was out.
- 5/5
Rooms were clean, very basic accommodations but for the price I would stay again and again. Close to Six Flags and ballpark/football stadium.
- 5/5
Go White Sox Kw
- 5/5
Room was clean. AC was loud. No breakfast.
- 3/5
There was a shuttle that took us to the stadium which was great. The hotel is located close to Texas Live and 6 Flags fun park. Wifi was poor, the hotel is dated and has very little amenities. No restaurants or eateries nearby to get food within walking distance and no vending machines on the premises. Bed was so-so, air con was noisy and old but worked. My door was faulty and gave me problems. I had to call reception to help me once or twice just to get into my room. So expensive during the World Cup!
- 5/5
Convenient location to Six Flags and a comfortable stay.
- 4/5
The property and room were good. The pool was nice, very few lounge chairs for use. Staff was helpful. They don't offer any kind of breakfast, only free coffee. The location was great for access to Six Flags, Hurricane Harbor, and for sports venues. Room has a balcony but they provide no chairs or table on the balcony.
- 5/5
We loved the patio area outside the room.
- 5/5
Everything in the hotel was great with the exception of the breakfast, when you look thru the advertising, they offer a free breakfast but when you check in they let you know they only will have coffee during the morning, booking this hotel is worth it, because the location and the hotel itself, but they should remove the free breakfast from they advertising
- 3.5/5
It was clean there was no benches or seating anywhere outside
- 3/5
The bathroom needs a working fan. Unless you opened the door, the small bathroom got far too steamy and hot.
- 1/5
No breakfast
- 3/5
Clean room nothing special, ok place for the price
- 1/5
The room was not clean
- 5/5
Did not eat breakfast there had to leave no
- 2/5
Only good for stadium
- 3/5
Location great. Clean enough for short stay. Building very dated. Went to ATT stadium, and waited for the trolley. Trolley is air conditioned, but ended up being quicker to walk instead (as we found out on the way back)
- 5/5
Nice place
- 2.5/5
The hallway smelled of weed. The bathtub drained slow. You would be standing in water ankle deep when you showered. The chairs was broken and missing screws.
- 4/5
Good distance from six flags and Globe Life Stadium
- 5/5
Easy to get to, clean, friendly staff and a trolley to globe life made it a winner!
- 4/5
Decent stay and clean room.
- 1/5
The shower was another huge disappointment. The shower head barely worked, and the water only trickled out, making it nearly impossible to take a decent shower. When we needed additional towels, we discovered there was no room service available. Instead, we had to leave our room and go downstairs ourselves to pick them up. While that may not seem like a major inconvenience, it’s not the level of service we expected. The biggest issue, however, was the breakfast. One of the main reasons we booked this hotel was because it advertised complimentary breakfast. When we arrived, we were told the hotel does not offer breakfast at all. That information should not be advertised if it isn’t actually available. It felt very misleading, and honestly, like false advertising. Overall, this stay did not meet our expectations. Between the cleanliness concerns, poor shower, lack of basic guest services, and misleading information about breakfast, we left very disappointed. I hope management addresses these issues so future guests don’t have the same experience we did.
- 3/5
For a family of 4 and 3 nights. 12 unexpected fast food breakfast adds quite a bit to our vacation expenses.
- 5/5
such a perfect spot near the baseball stadium! very clean property and kind staff!
- 5/5
Easy access to room It’s in empty area. No store or shop near by.
- 4/5
N/A Breakfast
- 3/5
yas clean great location rooms smelled great coffee a little outdated
- 4/5
So convenient to the Rangers ballpark! Plus the hotel gave us free trolley passes to get a lift to the baseball stadium. It was an easy and pleasant experience. We are so pleased with our time. Thank you!
- 5/5
Clean room and great location
- 5/5
Jocelyn was very professional and courteous.
- 5/5
The young man who checked us in was very kind . The night shift individual working on July 3 ,2026 at 230 am. Very very nice, an asset to your property.
- 0.5/5
I loved the pool and the view Ac didn't work, key card kept glitching so it'll sometimes work sometimes didn't, the curtains smelled like pure dirt, no ice machine, coffee made me nauseous tried it again to see if maybe it was just me but it again made my tummy cramp and I'm not lactose
- 5/5
good location. Nice staff, trolly good, clean rooms
- 4/5
Maybe staff need to be more helpful, they are ok though.
- 0.5/5
Nothing It was trashy
- 4/5
Air conditioning was good and so was parking
- 4.5/5
Privacy Would have payed extra for breakfast.
- 2/5
I was really annoyed with the fact that my key card had to be reactivated at least 2 to 3 times a day constantly over the four days day. This became a big daily inconvenience as I had to constantly wait at the Front Desk as they were checking in people to get my room card reactivated. Furthermore, the room had a weird smelled. Only to find a rotten banana inside the safe a day later. You would think that the cleaning crew would clean the room and checked the safe to make sure there’s nothing in it, but that was not the case in this room. The staff was very friendly. But overall I felt for what I paid. It’s fell short of expectations with many inconveniences of having to get a key card. Every time I came back to the room.
- 5/5
Everything was very good. Clean, comfortable and convenient. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.
- 5/5
I traveled for the Argentina-Jordan World Cup game. There was a shuttle from the hotel to AT&T Stadium that was much appreciated! Thank you HoJo!
- 1/5
The ac was not working and it was not clean
- 5/5
The staff was nice and it was clean
- 1/5
Our stay wasn’t pleasant, the hotel is very old and run down, the lobby smells, there is no convenient store to buy anything, the only way to buy something is by using a vending machine that was out of water bottles during our 5 days stay. The only way to get coffee is a coffee maker in the lobby but it only produces hot water and when I asked the employees to help me get a coffee cup out of it they were not able to help. I rarely write reviews but I felt compelled because of how unpleasant our experience was in this hotel

- 3.5/5
It was a good distance from the stadiums. Good basic stay. No breakfast when we stayed.
- 1/5
I had an issue with my room bathroom door for locked and they didn’t have maintenance nor did the contact me to change rooms or care if I and a bathroom to use my brother came to use a device to unlock it from outside
- 5/5
A very good hotel near the att stadium. Walkable distance. Remember to eat inside the stadium because there is no restaurant around. Otherwise it would be a perfect hotel for the soccer fans.
- 2/5
Room stank.
- 4/5
Good proximity to Globe Life, AT&T, and Six Flags. Good access to freeway.
- 4/5
For the price, this was perfected! It was close to where we needed to be.
- 3/5
The listing for this location was incorrect. There is no breakfast served. There is no steakhouse on the property. If you check in early they charge extra which isn’t a huge deal but on top of that after having already charged my card for the stay they added a $50 deposit (which was later refunded). The beds that were supposed to be “queens” were more like “doubles”. Overall it was not a great place for the price. Oh and the cable went out which was unfortunate because it was helpful in drowning out the heavy traffic noise. For a quick overnight stay it was ok but not as advertised.
- 3.5/5
Internet service was deficient. This was a problem the day of a World Cup game, I had problems activating my tickets and downloading my boarding pass. The staff blamed the game for the lack of internet access but this problem had not resolved the next day. The hotel doesn’t offer breakfast or food for purchase and there is no convenience store within walking distance.
- 5/5
Location near stadiums
- 5/5
It was a great experience
- 3/5
Needs major update and renovations. There was also a dead roach in our sliding door seal. And the door decided to get hung up half way thru our stay. The reservation was for 4 people, only 3 sets of towels and the body wash lasted for 1 shower and was out...
- 5/5
Was a nice room, with a comfortable bed
- 3/5
This property needs lots of work and the staff was not very helpful
- 4/5
Had a good stay here.
- 4/5
Clean room ,free trolley great staff
- 5/5
There weren't many options for the free coffee, except Sweet & Low. And the coffee wasn't fresh. One of those vending style contraptions. The property is nice. A throw back to a vintage style hotel. Large rooms and the balcony is nice! The views are great. Very convenient to the attractions, but like I said, not for in and out food in the morning. And honestly, the room was quite considering it's in a busy area. My family and I loved the room!
- 4/5
Decent stay near stadium and Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor. A bit old, but served its purpose perfectly for the price. No breakfast. Right next to highway.
- 3/5
Location is close to sports area & the staff are nice. We only stayed for 2 nights - upon arrival the room had a musty smell but was not dirty. Decent hotel if you are in town for a game & need a place to sleep.
- 5/5
Great location, safe, convenient parking, excellent customer service, will definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
It was comfortable and safe
- 5/5
This is a much older hotel, and it is definitely nothing fancy, but it is perfect when going to a concert or event. Great price. Clean. Coffee in the lobby in the mornings is very good. It served the purpose we needed it to serve for this trip very well.
- 5/5
This property is a gem located right near Six Flags, AT&T Stadium, Globe Life Field, and Texas Live! It's off I-30 and makes it easy to get around DFW. The hotel has retro vibes but in great condition. There is a free trolley that goes to the Texas Rangers games. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend this hotel for a reasonable stay.
- 3/5
Convenient location. Trolley stop at location. Front desk not friendly. Room key had to be reset 4 times in 3 days. Room very musty and dark.
- 4/5
Location No continental breakfast
- 4/5
Very reasonable accommodation, and loved that it’s near the ballpark.
- 5/5
Hotel is older but it is not as bad as some of the reviews say. For the price you're paying and the location it is very convenient. I've never had an issue staying here and I've stayed here for the last decade.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, EXCELLENT staff and convenient!
- 3/5
nice location. parking area seemed small but I found a spot. I noticed it got packed at night. shuttle to stadium was on time. exercise room was limited but the 3 machines were new. no breakfast - that is 'no bueno'. the coffee in the morning was a 2 star. price was fair what what one gets.
- 4/5
Clean and comfortable room. Did not have any options for breakfast. Decent stay.
- 3/5
Very basic and had a weird smell all over
- 4/5
I liked the balcony
- 5/5
Our stay was unexpectedly extended and the front desk clerks were very helpful in adjusting our stay and we even qualified for a refund. There's plenty of parking. The hotel is extremely close to Six Flags, Hurricane Harbor water park and both Rangers and Cowboys stadiums. I would definitely recommend Howard Johnson for an inexpensive option.
