Clean room friendly staff

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. It was close to restaurants and was a good location. I would stay here again.

The breakfast wasn’t as indicated. No fruit, pancake machine broken and no eggs. Was very disappointed. Couldn’t find anyone to refill the eggs. Very little choice and bread toaster would toss toast out on counter instead of how it should be.

Room was smaller than expected but ok for a one night stay. No trash bags at all in the room. Breakfast was great.

We've lodge here several times at Tru when we come home stay. Breakfast is ok; but overall stay is exceptional.

We stay there every time I’m in Amarillo. It’s always affordable and comfortable and clean.

Wonderful and clean rooms. Sara at the front desk was so friendly and helpful with local recommendations. Breakfast was nice and hot. Will stay here again if in the area.

We liked everything about it! Great room, friendly staff, good breakfast & good pet area which is a big plus! This is our 3rd year staying at this location traveling through on our annual road trip!

Hotel charged me double the price with my explanation

Car was hit in the parking lot. Called desk and still waiting on a Manager to follow up with camera footage. 3 days in and still no word. Disappointed

When we travel to Amarillo which is very often to visit family. We always stay here because it is very clean and the location is excellent. I would definitely recommend this place to stay!

Overall I liked my stay. But I did expect more from a hotel with the Hilton Brand. No microwave in my room, small fridge with no part for a freezer. Had to throw away my meats. I’m a truck driver and my truck broke down so I had to bring my food out the fridge of the truck. When I left all my meat was leaking. And I can smell it. So I couldn’t keep it. Other than that it was ok staying here.

In the morning there was no water pressure. I mean nothing. But there was still hair on the wall in the shower. Floor was so sticky that you couldn't walk barefoot in anywhere in the whole room. You just don't know how to clean everything else is

The room was clean, though smaller than we are used to it was quite functional and we had no problem. I liked that the floor was laminate and not carpet. Breakfast was great, we liked the lobby and if we had been there longer we would have loved to play pool or hang out there.

The staff were very helpful and very nice. The room was clean and smelled clean. If I have any complaints at all, it would be that there is not a closet, the rooms are very small, and there were no individual toiletries like hand soap, Q-tips, etc. I did not like that the lotion, soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, were all in tubes that anyone could open and contaminate for the next customer. Other than that, it was fine.

Nice place. Will stay again if in the area.

Clean room and free breakfast

Checked in after a 12 1/2 hour travel day and the first room they gave us was dirty and had not been cleaned. Had to go back down and ask for a clean room.

Location and cleanliness Microwave is in lobby and not in rooms. The Pet fee is double any of the other hotels in that area.

Clean room great staff

both the check-in staff and checkout staff were extremely courteous. It makes a big difference after you been traveling all day to have a nice staff. Welcome you to your hotel.

Check-in was quick and easy, there was plenty of parking available, even with our Expedition pulling a car hauler with our Jeep. The hotel was clean and quiet. We loved being able to walk through the adjacent parking lots to Red Robin for dinner. The kids enjoyed the pool table area where we played a couple rounds of pool and watched soccer on the TV. Our room had two queen beds and was clean and comfortable. We loved the shower products provided from Not Soap, Radio. Although we did not travel with our dog this trip, we noticed how pet-friendly this hotel is. There were water bowls and treats near the main elevator, and we saw several furry friends checking in. Even with many pets around, we never experienced any issues with cleanliness or noise. The first-floor ice machine area was convenient, with buckets, cups, and a water bottle refill station available. Breakfast was a highlight! The kids loved the fresh pancake station, oatmeal station, and yogurt station with lots of topping choices. There were also eggs, sausage patties, bagels, juice, and more. We normally choose hotels with pools when traveling as a family, but for a quick overnight stop, this hotel is worth it. The cleanliness, comfort, and dependable breakfast make it an easy choice. This was our second stay within a year.

We have been here several times before a d will always pick this spot. Always clean rooms, nice staff and great parking.

Breakfast was basic but good. The in house products in the rooms were very nice. I always like trying new products. Staff was friendly and helpful. The lobby was fun and cheerful. We would stay again.

Nice place. Our sheets weren’t clean when we checked in but they replaced them in a timely manner.

Have never used this brand before but will definitely stay here again.

The only issue was the breakfast in the morning. There was no pancake or waffle option available, even though there was a sign for it. That was a shame because traveling with kids, hotel pancakes / waffles are something we count on and know they’ll eat.

The staff was not very attentive, long checkin process, tried to call the front desk as i needed something- no answer, later was in the lobby- phone also was ringing non stop, no one answered it- the desk was unattended seemed like most.

The hotel is very clean, it must be fairly new. When we checked in, without telling us, they charged our credit card an extra $25. The next morning I asked the front staff what that was about, and was told that it is to cover incidentals and that once I check out, it will be reversed. I told her that I have traveled all over the world and stayed in many hotels, and I have never had a charge like this before. Otherwise, breakfast was nothing special. The set up for making pancakes was not there at all, and there was no waffle maker. There really was a very small selection of food. I would not stay here again, and based on this experience would probably avoid TRU in the future.

Nice property. Wish the breakfast area was located somewhere other than the front door. And wish for more variety of breakfast items.

Upon arriving we got to see Prairie dogs next to the hotel. Checking in was easy. The breakfast has plenty of options to choose from. The room was clean from the get go. The staff was pretty nice as well.

Convenient location. Easy to find with plenty of parking. Tv in our room had terrible picture quality due to the backlights dying out. Blinds for the windows are hard to open or close.

A very clean place. Parking and accessibility are convenient. Location perfect for our travels. Very courteous team. Breakfast is somewhat limited. Coffee readily available and good. Bed extremely comfortable. Overall, a great place for travelers on a long journey, and a great stay for the price.

We reserved a king room online and got a room with two queens next to housekeeping and elevators. Noisy at times. Bed very firm. Very bright parking lot lights. Staff very nice and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and hot. This is a minimalist hotel.

This hotel is basic and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only negative was that the TV didn’t work.

The hotel is just off Rte 40. It’s still a new style. With a decent breakfast included. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.

Extremely clean floors and bathroom. Extra counter space for luggage, wall hooks in multiple places, and lots of outlets made for a functional room and enjoyable stay. Plenty of parking. Felt safe. Fun lobby. Friendly staff. Definitely recommend.

Love the shampoo and conditioner and body wash they provide for you. The bed was very comfortable. I did not like finding a clump of black curly hair sitting on the drain and without having glasses on, was stepped on and thought I touched an animal. I also did not like finding a brown recluse in the room while traveling with service animals.

Tiny little room, but clean. This facility is fine, but I’m done with Hilton as dog fees are too much. Stayed at 3 hiltons in less than a week while on road trip. Cost me $225 for a small dog to stay with us, $75 per night for 3 nights. Never again.

Good area. The bed was too hard to sleep on, so my night's stay was not comfortable at all.

Very modern hotel and room! The staff was very friendly and professional and made check-in very easy! The breakfast area was open and very well-lit with many breakfast options available. The breakfast area and lobby had many places to sit and eat breakfast or work on computers, phones, etc. Parking was ample and safe. Getting to the hotel was a little confusing with the way the frontage roads were laid out. Overall, a very good experience!

This Tru by Hilton, as all Tru Hotels we have stayed at, is excellent. This stay however I accidentally booked an accessible room. Room location was on the first floor and very close to everything. It was quite noisy. I usually request and receive a room on an upper floor.
