Extremely helpful and professional staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend!

Location and value I didn’t ask for a room that pets have stayed in. Pet hair was in the bed and all over the floor. Had I been allergic I would have been in trouble.

We were pleasantly surprised with this stay, as we had not stayed here before. I wasn't disappointed at all. I'm glad we took a chance and have stayed at other locations since. Staff was great, clean and a comfie bed. We will be back.

We usually stay at My Place when going through Amarillo several times a year. We love Susan at the evening front desk. We also like having the full size refrigerator/freezer with ice maker so that we can freeze our ice packs and replace ice in coolers. On this visit the room was not up to their usual standards of cleanliness. Bathroom floor was dirty and had sticky spots of previous guest’s spilled liquid.

Enjoyed our stay, would stay again.

They gave us the key for a room that was occupied. When I opened the door a old man was watching tv(best case scenario) then they relocated us. But that situation was annoying and pet fee is way to high.

We travel with our dog and needed a hotel to stop and rest. The hotel was located with restaurants around it, very quiet and ground very well maintained. Inside was nice, bed were comfortable and room stayed cold. They do not service breakfast, or have ice machines, but the rooms have a full size fridge, microwave and stove. Will definitely stay here again when passing through Amarillo

The only negative was for me, was no ice machine and the ice maker in the refrigerator didn’t make hardly any overnight …but great place to stay for sure!!..and very reasonable.

We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were clean and it was a good stop in Amarillo. I liked the full size coffee pots.

My Place in Amarillo is a great place to stay. I always choose it when I am in Amarillo, and have stayed there multiple times over the last five years. The staff is friendly and professional and always tries to accommodate my requests. It is clean, convenient, and safe. The rooms are comfortable, and the kitchenette, with full size refrigerator (with ice maker) and stovetop, plus microwave and sink is great for eating-in. My little dog is welcome and enjoys walking in the lush grass landscaping—which is clean and well-maintained. The area is quiet and easily accessed.

For the price this hotel had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. The refrigerator, full sized coffee pot, and microwave were a plus. Bath towels were soft and plentiful. Breakfast not included, $7.00.

Stayed here last minute. The hotel was nice. Close to restaurants. Room was comfortable. Staff were nice.

Wonderful room

Our go to stop when passing through Amarillo, 8-10 times a year. Nice new hotel. Insulated enough to drown out the highway and upstairs noises. Always a pleasure to see and visit with Susan at the front desk!!

I don’t use the kitchen or breakfast. Staff is great. East check in. Easy parking right off the highway. Clean. Not terribly expensive.

Room was fully equipped

We always stay here while traveling between NM and Dallas - this time was so disappointing because they put us in a room that backed up to the elevator. We didn’t realize we would hear it all night until we were in bed and turned off the tv. ALL NIGHT!!! It was terrible!

No cooking utensils or pots and pans but we were not cooking so no problem.

The room was as expected: spartan, basic. the shower was good: step in with dispensers for soap and shampoo. The hotel has no ice machine. One must turn on the ice maker in the room's fridge to get ice (the next morning). The bed was too soft (Not usually a problem for us) and there was no mattress cover, just a sheet over the mattress. Check in was easy and quick.

This hotel is perfect! It is close to the hospital) which is why we were there) and easy to get to. It has a full size refrigerator which is important when staying for any length of time. Beds are comfortable and we just enjoy staying at My Place when we are in town.

Kitchen is fine, but you have to ask for all cooking items. Room was clean and functional. Staff was ok, but i kept having to redo my keys. Parking is fine. No frills.

No breakfast

Fine, good not great. It served my needs for a night passing through on a long drive. Kitchen didn’t have a single dish which was annoying, as I couldn’t heat up food that I had.

The hotel room was fine. No breakfast at this hotel, no pool, so that was annoying. The area around the hotel was not the greatest, but we had no safety issues with our visit. Overall, I will stay somewhere else that is more suited for a single-night stay in the future. This may be more for people needing to live longer term out of a hotel unit, not someone traveling through.

This is our second time staying here and once again it was a great stay! The room & bathroom were very clean. Even without breakfast being offered I still think this place is such a wonderful place. We were traveling with our kids and I felt safe & comfortable being here with my family. The staff is kind and really helpful.

Finally got a different room. TV remote was not working. I was very sick with flu and in bed trying to sleep. My husband had to let the clerk in again to try and fix the television. Clerk did her best, but the place was flaky. A full kitchen but not even a pan or spoon. Ha! Quirky. And NO CONTINNENTAL BREAKFAST, NOT EVEN A BANANA.

Great experience from beginning to end. Friendly and helpful staff, room was very clean. Check in and check out was painless. I can highly recommend this property.

Big sign in the lobby said "complimentary bottle of water" fact was no water. Arrived after 11PM, got put in a room next to kids who started screening and bouncing off the walls before 7AM. Staff didn't stock paper towels in the lobby and the place overall was dirty. Never stay here.

Thoroughly impressed. Not a bunch of frills I don’t use but still a clean quiet place to stop for the night towing a trailer and with two dogs. The room was fine. The bed comfortable and the bathroom clean. When I want all the extras I know where to go. When I just need a bed and a clean facility My Place will get my business for sure.

The air conditioning was fine there were no cooking utensils or pans or anything I guess they were behind the desk at the front? Didn't need them anyway but I do have the main problem I saw with the room was the recliner that was in there all the faux leather on the chair was all ripped off or peeled off from age or use I just couldn't believe that y'all had a recliner that looked like hell in your rooms still I guess that's the kind of reputation you all want to have?

As per usual, the My Place stay was exactly what I needed. I have been staying at this chain since 2022 when I stumbled on it

Comfy beds, nice blanket and room was very clean! This is a pet friendly hotel, it was quiet and folks were very respectful. Also, again very clean, loved the mini kitchen area, full fridge, coffee maker, and table for two. We stayed each weekend we passed thru Amarillo. Great cost per night too. Def recommend!
