Great place! Kept up very well. Great staff. Very close to restaurants and the mall. We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful hotel. Rooms were clean and the beds were heavenly. I’m very picky about where I stay and would not hesitate to recommend Hyatt Place to anyone.

Comfortable beds. Hyatt always has great breakfasts but we overslept. Beds and pillows were great. Definitely would stay again. Also nice big shower with a shower head that put out plenty of water. And lots of hot water. Spacious room. We will come again. Also nice and quiet location.

The staff was great and it was super clean. The only problem we had was that the AC fan made noise that we had to turn it off. We did report it the next morning and they were going to get it checked.

Loud noises - all night - kids partying literally all night bouncing off walls. Felt very unsafe. We did not sleep a wink. I don’t usually stay at Hyatt. No on sight security. Ridiculous.

Our overall stay was great, I’m fairly picky about hotel bathrooms and feel the bathroom could be updated but overall the staff was friendly and the rooms are clean.

We stop through Amarillo about twice a year and we have stayed at so many different hotels in the area. After this last visit we decided this Hyatt Place is the only place we will stay from this point forward. It is so clean and roomy and my kids love the breakfast. It is TRULY the best property in the area and we have compared a LOT of them!

Location was nice for what we needed. The continental breakfast was not worth the money.

I only get to stay at a Hyatt Place once every two years and this location was everything the experience was desired to be. The helpful staff, clean space, unbelievable breakfast, spacious and modern room, top notch amenities…this location couldn’t do anything better than they already have. Incredible one night stay and wish I could have stayed longer. Well done guys. Two thumbs way up.

There is one drawback, though. The room doors use built‑in digital card scanners, and the mechanism is surprisingly heavy. When the doors close, they shut with a loud thud. If people are coming and going in the hallway, it can easily wake you. I didn’t notice this issue at the Hyatt Place we stayed at in Eugene, Oregon, so it’s something Amarillo could definitely improve.

Room was great. Pool was very nice, but could've stayed open longer than 10p. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Very basic buffet. Would rather have paid extra if it meant having more options. Over a very nice stay. Also, very easy access on and off the interstate.

Cleanliness: 1) The room level hallway clearly had not been vacuumed in a bit. 2) There was a live and active spider in my room. 3) Mold had begun to form on the caulking in the bathroom. 4) The bath towels were on a very high shelf inside the shower. I was not able to reach them!!

The staff were all friendly, warm and welcoming. My son who was there shipping out to Navy boot camp was thanked for his service by two members and he really appreciated that. I didn’t really dislike anything but I would have paid extra for access to a hot tub.

The bed was comfortable and the AC was quiet. One negative was the Wifi was spotty, and I had trouble with a Zoom meeting.

Property was comfortable for a 1 night stay. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast is $8 per person and had a good spread of options.

Just passing through, everything was clean and there was a good amount of space in the room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Stayed on the highest floor and the room was nice and quiet.

Lot of restaurants nearby some eve walkable. Only bummer was fire alarm going off at 12:30 a.m. and just as we got dressed and gathered valuables it stopped. Better safe than sorry

Poor knowledgable staff, could not help with providing answers to reason why i have been denied my stay. I was having plumbing issues at the house and was told that i could not stay even though my room had been booked and paid for because i was a local and if it is not an emergency, then i will be denied.

Great hotel stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had complimentary coffee and breakfast. We were traveling a long way and were thankful for a very comfortable stay. Will definitely stay again when in town.

Pillows were musky, old phones with outdated charging options. Room was not maintained and had broken accessories. Floors, baseboards, legs of chairs, basically anything not surface level was extremely dusty. Bathrooms were visibly not scrubbed sadly had stained surfaces and towels.

I was charged once by Expedia and again by the hotel for our stay. The hotel is trying to resolve this but i have yet to receive the credit.

The walls were quite thin, we could hear a baby crying throughout the night. There was a slow drain in the bathroom, created standing water. There were hairs of someone else on the bathroom floor. The two staff when I checked in were not friendly, they were odd. I would not stay again.

Pillows left something to be desired, as did the bed, breakfast was not free. Walls paper thin, but overall the property was clean and adequate. Close to highway.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. It was super clean and new, and the pool was clean and lots of fun. Would absolutely stay again especially for the price.

The hotel was one of the better hotels I have stayed in for a while. The staff was especially helpful, going out of their way to assist when needed. The room was very well kept. The only criticism I have is the A/C was somewhat noisy, but the staff attended to it when I reported it.

Extreme clean and also smell very clean. Everbody on staff was very friendly. The only thing was the occupants next room kept us awake for a short time.You could hear them talking out loud and their dog was also bark for a while . Overall was great place to stay. We staying there again for sure.

I came expecting the best. Everything was fine until I asked the young lady at the front desk if she had any local menus. Which is a common thing that a lot of places have for guest. She looked at me like I was stupid. As I was getting ready to go up to my room I looked back at her and she was rolling her eyes. I said something and she acted like I was stupid. I go up to my assigned floor and looked at my key and she did not write or told us our room number so I had to walk back down to get it. I needed some ice and when I saw the ice machine I almost threw up. Other than that everything was fine.

Both beds were terribly soft that it made it impossible to get a good night's sleep. When checking in, we had to wait nearly 20 minutes for an employee who appeared to be doing double duty as the bartender.
