Reviews
The hotel is praised for its central location, cleanliness, and comfortable beds. The staff is frequently commended for their helpfulness. However, some guests find the rooms small and noisy, and a few are disappointed by the lack of certain amenities like a kitchen or a fridge.

The staff were all very welcoming and helpful when we arrived. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Great stay!!
- 2/5
Staff wouldn’t allow food delivery person to room and I wasn’t able to leave (they wouldn’t bring it up). The hotel is in a sketchy location and there isn’t ample secure parking. Extremely loud road noise.
- 4/5
Room temperature stayed consistent, clean, and bed was mostly comfortable. The side door was not working with the key so we had to go around to load and unload and not enough luggage carts so there wasn't one to use the morning we left and also the ice machine didn't work on our floor.
- 5/5
The property has nice modern western feel. The food waa good and is reasonable price.
- 4/5
This was our 2nd stay here in the past few years and it was another good experience. We booked it again because it was clean and convenient and we found that to be the case this time as well.
- 3/5
I will say the guy was very polite and probably the best front desk I have seen. The girl needs to have an attitude change.
- 4/5
Clean room. Helpful staff. Convenient.
- 0.5/5
The inside lobby was nice but that’s as far as I got. The staff at check in couldn’t even greet me with a smile how you doing they looked at me like I was dumb. Provided no help. Anytime I asked a question they looked at me as if I was bothering them. I tried to cancel my reservation and they charged me a fee of the amount I paid for the reservation and I didn’t even stay. Would never recommend this property.
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and just what I needed for my one night stay!
- 1/5
We booked this hotel because it stated on Expedia that they had a pool. After check in and getting the kids ready to swim, we were told there was no pool. Expedia said there was nothing they could do, the hotel refused a refund. I understand a no refund policy, but that agreement was made on the promise of amenities made by the hotel and Expedia. False advertising at its best. The staff did not care and Expedia pretended to care, while saying they did everything in their power to help. What a joke! The cleaning staff does a great job. The toilet knob falls apart easily so be prepared to call for help. Lack luster hotel, wouldn’t recommend or stay here again.
- 5/5
Clean hotel at an affordable price.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Great place to stay. Updated at wonderful. Wish it had a pool.
- 5/5
Wrote a different review, different room: the sliding door was easier to manage
- 5/5
As a frequent traveler, I'm always prepared to be disappointed in some way unfortunately, even with the best of the best. However, I must say my high expectations were actually exceeded in every way on my recent stay at this property. Everything from the comfortable beds to the cleanliness of the room and friendliness of the hotel staff were all on point. If I had to make one suggestion, I might say it would have been a nice touch to have included a couple bottles of water in the room for the guest to use with the in-room coffee maker -- even if for a nominal fee. Otherwise, I will most definitely stay at this beautiful hotel again.
- 4/5
It was a very nice hotel. Honestly, I would have given it a 5 star, but the elevator was broken when we checked in, and we had to go to the other end of the building to use the other elevator or take our luggage up the old-fashioned way. My husband was not happy.
- 5/5
Had to leave another hotel in town and move here late in the evening, but immediately felt calm and relaxed. The hotel is nicely appointed, check in was good, the closest elevator was down, but when we got to our room - loved it! Comfy beds, slept great. BEST thing about the hotel - one of the best breakfast buffets ever. Great choices from cage free eggs, to crisp bacon, to the best scones I have ever eaten. I wish I had gotten the lady who was working there that morning - she was AWESOME and I hope the hotel manager can figure out who she was, so he can pass on our compliment. She was so sweet and helpful.
- 4/5
Laundry facilities and breakfast were nice to have. Elevator was broken so there was a lot of walking. Staff was friendly and helpful.
- 1/5
Pool was closed. Front desk was rude would NOT recommend!!!
- 5/5
Nop.
- 4/5
While breakfast was good, the staff couldn’t keep up with the coffee. Despite, these small negative details, the room was nice enough for the price….the pillows and bed were awesome! Slept well!
- 4/5
The room was clean but the shower rod in the bathroom was about a foot higher than normal and the shower curtain barely reached the side of the tub. It was impossible to keep from drenching the floor when showering, causing puddles of water that had to be soaked up with towels to be able to safely use the bathroom. Also, the elevator was out when we were there and we had to cart luggage up and down the stairs or walk all the way to the connecting hotel to access an elevator.
- 5/5
Everything good
- 4/5
Clean room, only complaints being the odd setup. The bathroom door was a sliding door that was VERY hard to move; if you are staying with someone you wouldn’t want to walk in on, be aware of the door’s difficulty.
- 3/5
Just too noisy for me due to the interstate right outside my window. Lovely property and great staff but I would not stay here again just due to the noise.
- 1/5
I called to advise them, they said someone would call me back. Didn’t happen.
- 3/5
Shower heads are horrible-no pressure, breakfast was wonderful, laminate floor in room was sticky from cleaner, pillows were thin and old, bed was great, not enough places to put items in bathroom or room, staff was amazingly helpful, professional, and hospitable.
- 5/5
The location is excellent—just a short drive to Bucces, restaurants, and other attractions. There are also several dining options nearby, making it very convenient. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again the next time I visit Amarillo.
- 5/5
Comfy clean and reasonable
- 5/5
There is a Buccees near this hotel.
- 1/5
When you booked it third party, they overbooked and tell not sure why it’s letting you booked but we have no rooms and there’s nothing we can do. Refund takes forever to get one because the third party thinks your checked in and your not and you end up sleeping in your car.
- 1/5
They not have any communication between Expedia and a hotel not rooms available
- 3/5
Was okay
- 4/5
Room was good. If you are a light sleeper I would not stay here. Road noise from I-40 is so loud! Also, the room doors were so loud when closed. $2.99 breakfast buffet was top notch.
- 5/5
I have stayed at this hotel a number of times and it’s always on point. Comfortable beds, great pillows, great restaurant on site. Every time I come to Amarillo this is where I’m staying!
- 1/5
The computer was not working on the desk staff make sign twice I got overcharged they got the info from courtyard my sister in-law tried to sign us there but we decided to go to four point when I got the bank statement the amount was different twice at what we where told I call the 800 number they transferme to 4 point desk and the manager never answer the phone I got ignored bad service this is how they do business they still your money I'm very disappointed
- 5/5
The hotel was very clean, breakfast was good and area was kept clean
- 5/5
Parking and access to laundry inconvenient if you aren’t on 4th floor
- 5/5
One of the better hotels we've stayed at
- 5/5
Clean, safe, walking distance to restaurant and easy on/off to freeway
- 5/5
LOVE THE RESTAURANT AND THE BREAKFAST BUFFET!!!
- 3/5
My only problem here was that the night that I was there, a group of people was drinking beers outside in the big patio with loud music and I didn’t understand why the staff from the hotel let this group of people to stay there until 1 am making noises, when you pay for a room to rest for the night. I call the front desk to complain about the noises and they didn’t do anything because the noises continue until 1 am.
- 3/5
This hotel is very noisy. AC unit and hwy noise are very apparent. Also, when i stayed there was a loud party that spilled onto the parking lot. Apparently the party was more important to the hotel than those who were trying to sleep. Breakfast was okay for the $3 charge. I would not stay here again.
- 4/5
Staff was super helpful and kind. Room was clean. Bathroom worked but needed some repairs and insulation. I thought the guy next door was in the bathroom with me!
- 4/5
The breakfast was ok, but definitely not what they advertise it as… next time I will try my chances at another hotel and a better breakfast place for sure.
- 4/5
The breakfast bar was mediocre, however, our server, Qanta, was very nice and helpful!
- 5/5
Friendly helpful staff, comfortable and clean!
- 5/5
Very clean and great location. Friendly helpful staff!
- 5/5
Ineed to cancel my reservation the day before my stay due to a family emergency but I was unable ti get a refund for the room
- 5/5
Excellent customer service and spacious rooms. The bar and restaurant were top notch!
- 5/5
New, clean, good location and amenities! Very friendly staff. Definitely recommend!! Hotel bar is very festive and lounge area like being in a home. Restaurant available with good happy hour, but didn’t try. Huge workout facility. Turf area outside with fire pit and grills and room for kids to play. Rooms/beds comfy with microwave and fridge. Breakfast was great with a wide variety of options. Also, help yourself to coffee, tea, and hot chocolate 24 hrs. ALL for a more reasonable price than the bigger chains. Some traffic noise and smaller bathroom only negative—stay here anyways!
- 5/5
Location is nice and clean rooms
- 5/5
Breakfast buffet was one of the best!!!
- 3/5
Noisy. Road noise from I40 made for a miserable nights sleep
- 5/5
It’s always so nice and clean! People smoking right by the door outside!

- 5/5
Everything was great-
- 3/5
The Restaurant was closed and that is one of the main reasons we booked it. After being on the road for 9 hours we wanted to eat and go to bed. The room was very disappointing, bathroom was very small, no water in the room. Bar only had house wine and we could only bring plastic cups to.the room
- 5/5
I really enjoyed staying here.
- 5/5
There wasn't any good parking. There were plenty of handicap parking but limited regular parking.
- 4/5
Great location. Right off I40. Just stayed one night while traveling.
- 5/5
Loved everything
- 5/5
Very clean room. We were pleasantly surprised to have a fridge and microwave in the room. So we took leftovers from our delicious dinner at Los Braceros and ate that for breakfast!
- 5/5
The staff was lovely, the hotel was nice and clean but the food in the restaurant downstairs was disgusting. I ordered the roast beef. It was horrendous. It wasn’t slow roasted, I don’t k own what they did other than it looked like they cooked the “supposed roast beef” in a skillet. The baby carrots were not cooked. They weren’t even warm. The mashed potatoes were cold. I took a photo but there is nowhere to upload it. $35.00 down the drain because it immediately went in the trash.
- 5/5
The smell in the room, it smelled old.
- 5/5
The friendly staff, the clean property, and the comfortable bed The smell in the room, it smelled old.
- 2/5
The bathroom had only toilet paper + tissue. No mirror in the bedroom area. When 2 people are staying a second mirror would be appreciated. Felt more like a hospital room, than a hotel room.
- 5/5
Room was clean and staff was very nice.
- 4/5
Very good
- 3/5
Hotel room was nice and clean but very noisy. Hall noice all night.
- 5/5
Clean Hotel
- 5/5
Everything was great. Lovely Christmas decor
- 5/5
Very good coffee and breakfast!
- 5/5
Location is not the best but the hotel itself and the staff was outstanding.
- 5/5
The main thing I look for in a hotel is cleanliness. That's why I'm giving this one a 10 out of 10.
- 5/5
Comfortable room, enjoyed dinner (didn’t have breakfast), easy access to the hiway.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
Super nice staff at check in
- 5/5
Convenient location. Stayed there many times. Very helpfull staff
- 3/5
Very good restaurant and bar connect 4 seasons and Fairfield hotels. Only like one chair in room and room was small for the price. Location was good.
- 5/5
This was a very nice property.
- 4/5
Great deal of noise from the interstate
- 2.5/5
Passable
- 5/5
Always nice
- 5/5
Very nice room. Breakfast was great.
- 5/5
My room was clean and the AC cooled quickly bed comfortable breakfast was simple but plenty of options to satisfy most travelers all the staff are hands down the friendliest I've seen.
- 5/5
Needed a room & they had rooms available.
- 4/5
I have at this property (4) times. Great exercise room. Good restaurant and bar.
- 5/5
Clean and new hotel. Located close to highway, which is convenient but also noisy
- 3/5
I was very disappointed for the hotel not having a shower chair available for my handicapped wife. My wife is an amputee and the shower was for a roll in and not for her to walk in and sit on a chair to shower. We have stayed in many hotels and this is the only one that could not provide a shower chair. Luckily we were only there for one night and not several nights. The beds were very uncomfortable and so were the pillows. We were planning to stay again in Amarillo on our way back to Houston, definitely will not be staying at this hotel. Also, the AC was set at 60 degrees, never even cooled off our room. Too tired from a 12 hour drive from Houston to complain.
- 1.5/5
The smoke detector had a very bright flashing light that disrupted my sleep significantly. The bathroom sliding door was so difficult to close that we had to push very hard to get it to close.
- 4/5
Great night sleep. Room was sound proof and stayed dark to allow for a good night sleep. The only complaint we had was when we checked in we were told there was free breakfast. What we weren’t told was that it wasn’t the breakfast in the lobby area but in the Fairfield Inn behind the Four Points. We weren’t the only ones with this confusion as everyone that attempted to get breakfast was asked for a “breakfast ticket”.
- 1/5
Arrived late around 11:45pm on road trip and was told the room wasn’t ready.. and they needed to contact the maid to see if the room would be clean. They attempted to contact the maid and

Breakfast buffet great. Bailey at evening check in and another desk staff next morning were great 4 am a super loud bang shocked us right outside our room as apparently the garbage dumpster was loaded into Tue garbage truck!!! How can this possibly be allowed to happen, what is management doing!!! Unforgivable, sorry to say.

Really long line checking in a 7pm and only one person to handle us all. Not Four Points fault so many of us showed up at the same time, but it would have been nice to have a second person to help.
- 4.5/5
The hotel was so clean and fresh. When you walked down the hall, it smelled really good, not like some hotels that do not smell clean. The only carpet in the room was around the bed when you stepped off which we liked. The balance of the room was tiled. Hate carpet in rooms. We ate dinner in the bar and had a great dinner and drinks. Will stay again. I can't think of anything.

Exceptional
- 5/5
The staff gave us a lovely greeting and explained fully about the hotel. The rooms are beautifully furbished and spacious. Breakfasts throughout USA hotels aren’t great (and we have stayed at over 30 on this trip). This hotel was better than most, but still not top notch. Would be great to have fresh fruit to go with cereals and yoghurt.
- 1/5
Bed has some bugs
- 5/5
Our room was so quiet; I never heard anything and I am a light sleeper. As others have stated, breakfast was the best! No issues parking and we were in and out several times.
- 5/5
Very clean hotel with spacious rooms. Had a very pleasant stay in Amarillo.
- 5/5
Great updated property!
- 5/5
Very nice
- 5/5
Beds are comfortable. Breakfast was good. Bar and gym are nice.
- 5/5
I have stayed here several time because of the customer service and I know that the rooms are comfortable and clean. That is very important to me.
- 3/5
Rooms was clean but very noisy
- 5/5
Great condition. Very good breakfast!
- 5/5
Right off I-40. Easy to get on and off.
- 5/5
Room was very clean. Hallway carpet is amusing. Reminds me of junior high affirmations they tell you to say to yourself.
- 5/5
My husband and I love to stay her on our way to CO. It’s got easy access to highways and restaurants. It’s very comfortable and clean. The convenience of having a restaurant and bar is great! And their breakfasts buffet offers many tasty choices.
- 5/5
We stayed here last year and happy to return
- 5/5
Everything was great comfortable bed and quiet rooms. Super clean. Very pleased.
- 5/5
We stayed here overnight while driving to NM, and we had an amazing stay. The hotel was clean, the room was very comfortable, and the food was really good! We had dinner and enjoyed the $1.99 breakfast buffet. Lots of great options. We would definitely stay here again!
- 4/5
Stay here every year for the last 4. Renovations that were done and the price. Will make us return every year.
- 5/5
The Four Points in Amarillo was great! Clean, super easy to check in, the gym was great, and breakfast was good. The lobby looked fun and welcoming. This will be our new go-to on drives through Amarillo!
- 5/5
Very nice room. We ordered food that was also fantastic. Everything about the stay was excellent.
- 5/5
Good
- 2/5
Too close to interstate. Rooms facing I-40 are loud all night long. Otherwise fine.
