I was skeptical after reading the recent reviews but everything was great! No issues with check in, parking garage is close and plenty of parking was available. Yes, you have to pay for parking but thats standard with most higer end hotels downtown. Room was clean and spacious, free snacks and drinks in the room. The free happy hour was great, as was rhe food. I will definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
The staff was awesome but checking in was a nightmare due to Hilton system being down but the staff did the best they could with what they had to deal with! Rooms were clean and nice but was disappointed because the hot tub was out of service.

Very clean. Comfortable beds and a happy hour drinks token was a welcome treat. A great hotel which I would stay at again. Good gym and pool facilities. Nothing to note. Has a conference hotel feel to it but that didn’t bother us.

This was the nicest Embassy I have ever stayed at. Rooms were very spacious and very clean, staff was amazing, bar was amazing and breakfast was amazing. Only negative thing I would say is the hot tub wasn’t workday at the time. Besides that this was a fantastic stay.

Great place very clean and new

Nice Embassy, better than 2 others recently. Good location.

Probably the best property in Amarillo. There were 2 concerns on this visit. Really not a big deal. First we reserved a king room and ended up with 2 queens. Second concern was someone on our floor had 2 big dogs that like to bark when the owners were not present. Really thin walls.

So to start off with we arrived at check in time at 4pm after driving all day on the road and the systems was down and the lobby was full of people with nowhere to sit ! We also had medication in the car that needed to stay at room temperature and we ended up going for a drive and we wasn’t able to get checked in until almost 10 pm at night ? Then the staff working the desk was rude with me telling me I don’t listen to directions and I’m like I wasn’t here to hear any directions, so I get up to my room after checking in and 2 lights do not work in the room and the carpet on the floor had dog hair all over it and my daughter Is allergic to dogs so we had to deal with her having allergies all weekend and now she still dealing with allergies ? Then we went down to the pool the next day looking forward to soak in hot tub and it was closed with extension cords all over so didn’t even feel safe swimming plus didn’t get to relax in hot tub ? Then breakfast had flies all over the food and got grossed out by that ? All the ice machines had no ice ? The bathrooms was dirty ? We have never had an experience like this before with Hilton embassy suites and we always use you guys everywhere we go ! I feel like we should get some kinda of compensation for our inconvenience maybe a free night stay on our next visit or something ? If not I know I will never use you guys again . Front desk says just talk with corporate was there answer !

Best place to stay in Amarillo!
- 2/5
We arrived early 2:45p for check-in and as expected we were told our room wasn't ready so we would have to wait until 4p for keys. At 4p we returned to desk and we're told the key system was down so they couldn't give access to our room. Staff offered free drinks in lounge until room keys could be issued, It was very frustrating that staff hadn't been providing updates and weren't offering any resolution either. Just sit and wait. Fast forward to 7:30p system became available and instead of working with people who had been waiting, they began with new arrivals. Think this could be avoided in future to have keys pre-made for expected arrivals of day OR go to a paper check-in and have someone take you to your room with a master key. Quite unacceptable for a large corporation that has been in business for so many years not to have a process in place for such outages.

So, the hotel is very clean and comfortable 100%! I was very happy about that, I mean I do think the tub could have been cleaner but it was ok. Water pressure not so great. Hated it but it’s whatever. Only thing I had a real problem with is not having a maintenance crew or person over night. We had an issue with our toilet, it wasn’t going down at 1 in the morning and we were told there wasn’t anything they could do about it until 7 in the morning or we could wake our kids up and switch rooms, which is ridiculous!! If it was before they went to bed it wouldn’t have been a problem at all, but in the wee hours…. No. So we had to go to bed smelling a poo filled toilet. I don’t know, maybe have a plunger accessible for the staff to at least offer to a guest. We would have taken care of it ourselves, since they for whatever reason don’t have a maintenance person for over nights. I just think more could have been done. I feel like the staff that night could have thought of something more than moving a sleeping family in the wee hours! Also, the pool was out of order because of electrical issues. Not a huge deal but I think I should have been notified long before I was checking in. I probably would have gone somewhere else for the kids. They were looking forward to the pool. HOWEVER, if it wasn’t for those 2 issues everything would have been fine.

Convenient to have a restaurant to eat at. The A/C in the hotel lobby and restaurant area was non-existent. Our room was dirty. You have to pay for parking and it’s not convenient.

Very nice hotel. Clean, top tier property. Staff is awesome. Drinks were great, breakfast was exceptional. The only negative issue we had was the street noise. We were on the 4th floor and the street traffic was annoying.
- 5/5
Enjoyed our Family stay at Embassy, lots of hotel amenities. It's worth it,, location is great , right across from the Civic Center...

Was not clean and Poor breakfast
- 5/5
It was good and clean would stay again
- 5/5
Comfortable beds and helpful staff!
- 3/5
Room smelled like mildew. The beds had torn frame coverings. There were gross food and used drinks left in my fridge from the previous guests. I got harassed by drunk people at the bar who were also harassing the bartender. The pool and valet were great. The breakfast was great.overall kind of disappointed for the price I paid.
- 4/5
Breakfast was too good
- 5/5
Cost of valet parking
- 5/5
Hotel and stay was amazing!
- 5/5
Def one of my favorite places to stay when I'm visiting Ama.
- 5/5
Good property - good location - best in Amarillo
- 5/5
Valets were excellent. One front desk person didn’t take people in order.
- 5/5
Clean, large, reasonably priced room. Only one concern shower was large and beautiful but slippery. It was a safety issue for us.We enjoyed out stay here very much.
- 4/5
The hotel was very nice, but they charged $33+ for valet parking per day & $18+ to park in a garage. If you wanted to park, you had to park on the street. Not very customer service friendly. Also, the door on our room would not close. We pushed and pulled it. We reported it to the staff, but it was not fixed. So, if someone wanted to force their way in, all they had to do was push the door. We latched in at night for safety.
- 5/5
Probably the best shower I've had at a hotel in some time! Additionally the property is fully renovated and nice and clean! Great stay!
- 2/5
Poor Service: Our dinner sat on the pass for ten minutes, and we received it cold. The bartender was not busy, and we heard the bells go off several times. Eventually, someone from the kitchen came out and asked the bartender whose food it was, and we had to flag the staff down to get it. On a positive note, the girl working behind the bar was great and is the only reason we left a tip. Unacceptable Valet Delay: We paid for valet and waited 45 mins for our car, despite paying extra for priority service. We are on a work trip, this caused us to miss a critical meeting. Valet is advertised as unlimited in/out privileges. I went to front desk to ask if we could get our keys, I was sent back to the valet, who claimed this was impossible due to how the cars were parked. There was one person on valet. Room Design Safety Hazard: I injured my foot in room #331. The bedroom has two beds with a console up against the left wall. Coming in from the bathroom, the console juts out but is not visible when you approach to get into bed. I walked heavily into it and severely damaged my foot, making it impossible to walk today. I suffer from Morton's Neuroma, so this has further damaged the nerves. Very poor design choice and hazard. Amenity: There was no ice in the machine on level 3. I went down to level 2, but that machine also empty. Had to go to the bar for ice at 10pm.

Great location for any activities downtown Amarillo. Right across the street from Amarillo Globe Center and The Sod Poodle baseball stadium. The small suite room was perfect for our 2 night stay. Our king size bed was very comfortable. The free breakfast was delicious with a choice of made to order omelets along with a large selection of other breakfast items. The parking garage is located across the street to the south of the hotel. And yes, there is a charge to park. All in all, we had a great stay.
- 3/5
No shampoo or body soap in the shower. Had to go to four different floors to find an ice machine that had ice in it.
- 1/5
Hotel is not prepared to handle volume. Extremely unfriendly check in staff..gave our room away then put a bag of Cheetos in a smaller room to try to make up for giving away our suite and being sold out. Used to love to stay here sadly will not be back will stay at other hotels downtown.
- 5/5
We love Embassy Suites and this one did not disappoint! It was one of the best we have stayed at!
- 4/5
The hotel was wonderful and definitely clean and nice location. However, the pool and hot tub were unavailable to us and we were looking forward to them and the breakfast wasn’t great.
- 5/5
Great stay for an event.
- 3/5
The pool was out of service which was unfortunate. My family had drive and this is our usual stop where we enjoy the pool and stay for the night on our roadtrip. The woman at the front desk seemed to not understand fully why the pool was closed, nor did she seem empathetic after we have been driving all day.
- 5/5
It was amazing, clean room.
- 5/5
Very clean and staff were very nice and helpful.
- 5/5
The only thing it was a little hard to get to
- 5/5
Great location, close to many visitor interests. Great food in the area. Rooms were spacious and well designed. Breakfast area and food was top notch at this location. Lot's of variety for breakfast. Valet parking was extra but well worth it with in and out capability. Would definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
Great location to see the sod poodles. The AA baseball team.
- 5/5
Process was quick and easy! Staff was amazing but most importantly the hotel was super clean!
- 5/5
Star was friendly and it was clean
- 5/5
Great value and great stay
- 3/5
Property was nice but very noise and the valet and lounge ambassador were some what rude. They were very pushy in regards to trying to valet park the car and taking our luggage up to our room. Neither is something my wife and I needed or wanted.
- 4/5
The carpet on the third floor hallways needs to be re-stretched. I tripped on the way to my room because of the lump of carpet that is loose.
- 3/5
Slow check-in (understaffed) and parking validation. Shampoo empty in the room, nit enough towels, and sheets/pillow for the pullout sofa missing. They brought it all up to me upon request. Very flat pillows. Property was very nice and clean. Made-to-order breakfast was excellent.
- 4/5
There is no shuttle service to the airport. This would have been very useful for several of us that were there for a seminar.
- 2/5
The hotel has potential but parking is a major issue affecting the overall stay experience. The ticket system is not convenient and is seemingly designed to charge fees for loss or late check-ins
- 5/5
Good breakfast
- 5/5
Great room, pool, and breakfast
- 5/5
Clean room, great location, amazing breakfast
- 5/5
Parking is a pain in the butt, but otherwise a very nice facility. Recommend staying there if you want to be near downtown.

- 5/5
Great room, very big, brekafast was great, made to order, indoor pool was nice
- 5/5
Our family of 4 stayed for one night and we had a great stay! We used the pool which the kids had fun. They had cocktail hour for the adults with bar snacks. We ate dinner at the 1887 Social House and had good options for everyone. Friendly staff all the way around - Valet, front desk, wait staff, cleaning staff! Breakfast was included in our stay and it was delicious! Highly recommend this hotel!
- 5/5
The hotel was very nice. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
They need to update the TVs to smart TV. Staff was very nice and accommodating.

My check in experience was good, receptionist was nice. She said my room was upgraded to the 6th floor which i was thankful. The bad experience began when i opened the door to the room! It smelled so bad, the smell of dog urine was so strong. I went downstairs to tell them to change me rooms, the receptionist told me that they had a service dog convention and that even if they moved me the other rooms would smell the same, horrible service!! She went to get the manager. Worst manager ever! He told me there was nothing he could do but to refund my money and look for a different hotel, he was frustrated and started raising his voice!! It was around 6 and most hotels were sold out! I had to suggest them removing the area rugs and to clean the room (which they never did no one went to clean the room!) thankfully maintenance was fast and he removed the carpet. Even maintenance told me the smell was bad! Removing the carpet made the difference! I took pictures of the carpet full of urine and the floor stayed dirty! This was supposed to be a great experience for my husband and son’s birthday. We chose this hotel because of the short distance to the Sod Poodles stadium. We had to stay due to not having any other choice, but beware of the horrible service!!
- 2/5
There was a bug on my pillow unfortunately they were completely booked so not able to change rooms no I’m sorry by staff just simply offered to come change the sheets. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the bell hops were wonderful and the breakfast was good.
- 5/5
A great overnight stay on our way up North. Would definitely stay at that Embassy Suites again
- 5/5

Everything was very good .
- 4/5
Beautiful hotel with really large rooms. I'll definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Our stayed was great . The breakfast was good . Only thing is that I did not get my $50 dlls back . We did not break anything, did not left a mess and we did not get the $50 back , the security deposit.
- 5/5
The rooms are huge and have all mod con amenities. Located near the baseball park for the Amarillo Minor league team. Staff weee lovely would absolutely recommend
- 4/5
This is a great property but it is starting to show wear and tear. The door to the swimming pool doesn’t open, a patio fan is missing a fan blade, the door hinge of a the refrigerator cabinet is broken. I hope the property takes steps to fix these things. This is a great hotel, but these could be signs of decline.
- 4/5
Great hotel downtown
- 5/5
We arrived late and left early - all the staff we came in contact with was helpful and friendly. We stayed in a one bedroom suite. It was roomy, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. They have an amazing breakfast with a cook-to-order omelet station. We only stayed one night, but we will definitely stay there again!
- 5/5
