Booked a deluxe king and when i got there the receptionist said the maids were still cleaning rooms and tried to get me into a queen, I informed here i booked the deluxe. She then went to the computer and gave me a standard kind, did not know this until i went to the room and discovered it was a standard. I came down stairs and complained about it and she informed me if i wasn't satisfied I could get my money back and go to a different hotel.

AC worked great in the 104F heat, room nice and clean. The morning breakfast was behind schedule, but we were still able to grab something on the way out.

The air-conditioning was nice a cold when I arrived. In fact it worked so well I had to turn the thermostat up a few degrees. I felt very safe in the parking lot.

Elevator very slow, no emergency notices such as fire alarm what floor your arriving to, dirty. Toilet did not flush I fixed it myself, Bathroom floor water stains

Staff was great and beds were comfortable There was an overwhelming smell of Marijuana through the lobby and elevators

Room was as described!

Elevator to 5th floor worked great. Room was clean. Bed fairly comfortable. Commode was very low, like at an elementary school. Air conditioner blew loud, but worked. Woke to the sound of the dumpster being emptied before 6am. The pool was ok, not very clean or maintained, like swimming in a clear stock pond minus the fish. The IHOP next door had good food. Ample items at this hotel breakfast area. Many workers in the area stay here. Smokers out the door to the back parking lot and pool. A small dog wrapped in a blanket with some snack food by the side door. Police and ambulance arrived early morning for a male disturbance trying to get into rooms. Check out was easy.

The hotel was adequate for my purposes of just catching six hours of sleep on a drive, but it is in need of a major refresh.

If you want OVER THE TOP customer service,, you need to stay here!! After a very stressful day the front desk (Misty) took care of me!! I can't give her enough praise!! And it wasn't towards me! I was able to observed her with other customers and she made everyone feel good! It Was a VERY busy evening for her!! The room was nice & clean!! I will stay here again. They allow pets, the only tiny issue is not much space for the dogs to do their job. No Big Deal for all of the other Pluses!!

Upon reviewing with family members the rooms were not clean as should have been. My room was fine. Place was updated but not as clean as it could have been. I've stayed here more than once, but may choose to stay elsewhere in the future when in Amarillo.

Definitely too much noise! I understand the hotel is tight on the freeway but the windows were awful causing much noise from the freeway. It was also filthy. Someone had written “Help” from the dirt in the window. The hallway smelled like stale smoke. I endured four the one night I needed. Wouldn’t do more than that.

We enjoyed a hot breakfast at IHOP next door, easily walking distance.

When I went to check in, there was no one at the front desk. After waiting approximately 10–15 minutes, I went outside and found the customer service representative, Amanda, smoking. I had to notify her that I was waiting to check in. This immediately raised concerns about customer service and security, as anyone could have entered the hotel unattended during that time. I was then informed that the room I had reserved had been rented to someone else. Amanda offered me a different room and stated that she had personally cleaned it. Before accepting, I asked to inspect the room. It was apparent that the beds had only been remade and that the linens had likely not been changed. In addition, I observed roaches crawling in the lobby area. I spoke with the manager regarding these issues and was told that they sometimes rent rooms that have already been booked. This explanation was unacceptable and demonstrated a lack of regard for guests and reservations. When I expressed my concerns about the overall customer service experience, Amanda accused me of harassing her. At no point was my intention to harass anyone; I was simply voicing legitimate concerns regarding the condition of the hotel, the handling of my reservation, and the level of customer service provided. Overall, the experience was unprofessional, unsanitary, and frustrating. I would not recommend

The blanket and one of the pillows had stains, we had to go to the front desk to tell them our TV said it didn't have service and they gave us a different remote that "might help" (it had tape holding the batteries in, but did indeed help us turn the TV to the correct channel for hdmi), there was only 1 washer and dryer that took quarters but they didn't have a way to get quarters, our floor reeked of marijuana, and the free breakfast was the skimpiest I've ever seen.

The back parking lot and pool were an unofficial smoke lounge, so if you're sensitive to smoke, be aware. The halls tended to carry the smell too. My kids didn't feel comfortable going to the pool because of all the smoking. Room was actually pretty clean. WiFi was spotty, but the cell network was down while we were there, so everyone had likely switched to WiFi / video calling. Breakfast was good. They had some fresh fruit, waffles, toast, cereal, etc. And the staff minding the breakfast was helpful and courteous.

Great room for a reasonable price. Did not have time to check out the breakfast. But I would definitely stay there again.

Check in was easy. The front desk was friendly. There was a funny smell when entering and the trash was overflowing by the front door. I appreciate room service came everyday (stay was Friday-Monday), and they did a great job. Carpet could use a deep cleaning. Fire alarm went off the first night there for over an hour, and it took for guests to ask what was going on to be told that someone was messing with the alarm. The hotel was dated but not too bad to just sleep in.

Staff was helpful. Some fixtures like sink paint was not properly finished yet. Some paint stains on the elevator too.

Avoid this dump! I can’t believe this place is legal. Paint and plaster peeling holes in curtains and bedspread. No ice, no coffee kids playing in the parking lot until 2 in the morning and a dic pic on the bathroom wall

The hotel itself appears to need some work and some maintenance. We used the laundry facilities, one dryer was out of order (which was fine) but what was concerning was the washing machine drained into the floor? Or in a garbage can? The floor up to the baseboards was wet and it was dirty around the washer so I was a little confused on how that worked. But my clothes came out clean and that’s all I cared about. Breakfast was also sad, but it’s right by a McDonald’s and ihop which makes it forgivable. If you are looking for a decent place to sleep with pets, nothing super fancy, I would say for the price, it’s great. It’s also super close to a Sam’s Club for cheap gas and within 5ish miles to Buc-ee’s which was super fun to experience.

I walked into my room with the water in the bathtub still running, it would not shut off. It was so hot in there that the condensation was dripping. All over the place I went downstairs to complain and ask about getting a new room.And was denied

Dirty room, scratchy sheets, loud, and the front desk lady was wearing lingerie.

Perfect for a one night stay whilst on a roadtrip. Breakfast consists of waffles, cereal, oatmeal, bananas, coffee & juice. Very basic if that’s important for you. I’m good with just coffee. Beds are clean and comfortable.

Property was in need of a lot of TLC but you had to anticipate that. Was simply a few hours stop over on a road trip so you simply deal with it.

At 10 am i had house keeping knocking to clean the room. Check out is not tell 11. No shampoo no conditioner. I was so tired. After this stay. Not again

The hotel needs major maintenance. Breakfast is very limited but McDonald’s is next door. Exterior trash cans were overflowing. Not good unless it’s a quick stay and even then you may not get a restful night of sleep due to the noise.

Hot lobby, leaving a bit of an odor in hallways and room. Otherwise cleaning and morning staff were lovely.

Floor wasn't clean, but the beds were and thats what matters

Would not recommend. Light in sink area dd not work. Chair at desk was also broken. There were food crumbs from the elevator to the room where we stayed. The noise was an issue so if you're looking for a quiet place this is not it. The breakfast was good.

It was quite noisy. The windows aren't soundproof n i had to put earplugs in n leave the tv on in order to sleep. I'm a light sleeper n noise bothers me. I live in a rural area n enjoy my peace.

Staff when I check in, they made me feel unwelcome the person in reception. His name is Ken. He’s so rude and unprofessional. i’m really disappointing.

I initially gave this hotel a one-star review after my December 25, 2025 stay due to the disappointing complimentary breakfast. After staying again on January 2, I’ve reconsidered. Compared to other hotels in the area, it’s actually not that bad. The room was clean overall, though I did find a couple of hairs in the bathtub. The property also feels safer than most motels since the rooms are located inside the building.

The hotel room was terrible. It strongly smelled of paint, and the shower water was not running at all. This made the stay very uncomfortable.

The room was clean. There was no microwave available. Unfortunately, the TV was not functioning. The restroom was outdated. The entrance area was dirty. The ceiling in the entryway was old and rotten. Although breakfast was complimentary, it was not a hot buffet breakfast.

The room was relatively clean. There were some dirty marks on the bed sheets. The shower wasn’t very clean. Overall the room was well stocked and comfortable. We traveled with a dog and it was an easy, good experience. He tends to alert bark but it was quiet enough that it only happened once or twice through the night.

Room was very "stuffy" and a faucet leaked and bath fan was fallen. Street noise was terrible.

Customer service was rude. There was mice droppings on the floor, stains on the sheets and the traffic outside was so loud it was hard to sleep.

Overall Experience From start to finish, this stay was filled with issues: • A first room that was dirty, damaged, and without heat • A second room that was already occupied, which is a serious safety and privacy violation • A third room that was remodeled but dusty, with a non-functional fridge • Continuous signs of poor maintenance and poor attention to detail • Another guest also being moved multiple times • A personal item disappearing after checkout • Housekeeping failing to locate an item that should have been clearly visible • Multiple apologies from staff that didn’t change the reality of the situation I travel often, and I rarely leave long reviews, but I feel it’s necessary here. Guests deserve clean, safe, functional rooms—and to feel confident that their belongings won’t mysteriously disappear. Final Thoughts This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had in years of frequent travel. The problems weren’t small and isolated; they were systemic issues that suggest deeper problems with how this hotel is managed, cleaned, and maintained. I hope management takes these complaints seriously, because no guest should go through what I did. As it stands, I cannot recommend staying here, and I would not stay here again. Overall: A horrible experience across the board.

The lady at the front desk very nice She give us a room 104 we check room and the beds and we found hair on both beds and carpets very dirty We talk to the front desk lady she was surprise But she give us other room 4th floor The all the way to the room smell a fresh paint we get in check beds and the same thing we took photos of all the hair and talk to the front desk lady again ok another room 508 we check and we found a los of dog hair under the pillows photos and we talk one more time She said she couldn’t refund us because we rent it through Expedia and we had to stay because we needed to rest. We ask for clean sheets and we made the beds ourself.

One bed smelled like BO. There was not soap of any kind in the room. When we got to the room the TV was on so thought they gave us someone’s room

There was a large, dead cockroach next to my bed, there was a gap between the door and the floor… I had to use a towel to seal off. The top blanket was either dirty or terribly stained, regardless, it was gross. I did not feel comfortable in the room. Had I not traveled 12 hours and it not been so late, I would have gone elsewhere! Would never stay there again

Room was spotless and roomy. Bed and pillows were also very comfortabe.

The room felt neglected, the couch was covered in crumbs and stains. Leftover stuff in the fridge from the previous tenant and room keys were only working intermittently.
